Colutas is great, cheap pizza! The one on Diversey is better, though.

Since moving into the neighborhood, Coulta's has been my favorite place to eat/take out. Good pizza and I'm crazy about their fried cauliflower. Yummy! Their caesar dressing is delicious. I think they put their lettuce on ice. The last time I ordered a salad, there was a bunch of water at the bottom of my container. Over all a pretty good place with good prices.

Coluta's is the bomb! Great pizza, good sammies, friendly delivery personnel, everything is great. Been ordering from them forever, but have to go through the entire name, address, etc. Wish they would implement the system whereby they have your address in their system, plus a total on the delivery order.

I cannot understand the fascination with this overrated restaurant. They're simply just another little hole-in-the wall pizza joint. The food is below average at best and vastly overpriced. This place is a suckfest. Avoid it...NUFF SAID...

Delivery was fast and driver wasn't afraid of my dog. Pizza was outstanding. I moved north from.the Southside so I was a lil nervous about ordering. I will be ordering again.

Not impressed. Sure it was a pretty big slice and wasn't too pricey but I hate having to dab the pizza with a napkin to remove pooled grease. The sauce wasn't anything special either. I won't be back here.

Giving this 5 stars - the pizza is amazing.

I absolutely LOVE this place! My family only orders our pizza from here! When people come from out of town and want true Chicago pizza, I always order Colutas. Two of my coworkers who are out of towners were dying when they tried this pizza! They said this is their new spot! The best pizza sauce comes from here, their crust is amazing, and their cheese is perfect! It does get a little pricy but it is so worth it!

Very small (like Chinese take-out) place in the center of a strip mall. The inside isn't decorated with anything on the wall and quite frankly, felt like a side room behind the kitchen (which I liked for some reason) They were selling pizza by the slice (cheese $3.50, sausage $3.75 I believe) and got one with the sausage topping. Service was above average as the kid gave me an extra slice, on top of giving great service but, didn't recall if the price included 1 or 2 slices. Pizza wasn't too bad. Definitely more on the doughy side than anything else with hardly any sauce (if that's how you like your pizza). I could definitely see them attracting a lot of business due to their cheap deals and wide selection of other offerings. Got a minor stomach ache after eating 3/4 of a giant slice. Other reviewer was right about it being very rich. Pizza 2.5 Service 5 How I felt afterwards 2

I've been here three times. Every time for the Caesar salad. The Caesar dressing is out of this world!!! Idk what it is about their dressing but it's amazing!!! I crave their Caesar all the damn time. It's even good with the pizza! I personally think $7 is a lil pricey for some lettuce, cheese and croutons but I gladly pay it for the dressing. I've ordered the cheese slices pizza before and it was ok. I went back recently and dined in. We had the veggie pizza and chicken Caesar. The whole pizza is better than the slices. My friend was dipping her pizza in the dressing and I was like huh?! That can't be good, but I tried it and it was amazing!!!!! I will continue to come back just for the salad tho. I prefer other pizza places pizza.

My favorite pizza in the area. The Coluta's special is the ideal supreme pizza. Soooo much cheese. Ribs are good too.

Really good pizza. We have been there 40+ times. We take them down south. They pre-cook them half ways. Freeze them. I really like the roast beef and hot pepper pizza. We live 10 miles away and it's worth the trip. We are getting 3 pre-cooked ones to take to friends.

I prefer a thinner crust. Too dense for me. Cheese and topping were ooook. Good customer service though. Still looking in Chicago a pizza that really wao me. The best in my opinion is Freddy's in Cicero. It was another good one in Logan Square, but it close.

When you want a quick meal without a big deal, what are you gonna fix? Hot Pockets! Jim Gaffigan forever tainted the hot pocket for me so when we needed a quick meal we thought pizza. We've never tried this place but they always send us flyer's and it was on my BF's way home so they win! Overall: Pretty good, tasty sauce, very Cheesy! They definitely don't skimp on the cheese so don't even think of ordering extra cheese. Not at all oily and in need of blotting before eating, which is good. Priced right for cheapies like myself :) If you live near or have family/friends in the area (me) then check it out!

After a major fail with Sorrentos my bf and I decided to give this place a try after reading good reviews. We ordered a 18" pizza and a order of fries. The pizza was AMAZING, I've read that it's too cheesy and maybe it is but it makes it that much more delicious. The crust is not really as crunchy as I'd like but the taste of the pizza cancels that out. The bad thing was when I asked how much it would be, it was nearly $40 when I used to pay around $20 at Sorrentos buying the same two things, and at Giordanos I spend around $30 so I thought that was a huge downer. I loved the pizza but that's too high for me :p

This place is a hit and miss with me. Their fried mushrooms are delicious as well as their chicken Parmesan dinner. But I ordered the BBQ chicken dinner and the chicken was undercooked. The entire inside is all pink, they don't give you enough BBQ sauce on the chicken and its all soggy. I lost my appetite after seeing the pink chicken (will never order at least chicken from them). The garlic bread is amazing! Tortellini is delish. But they really need someone to make sure the chicken is cooked correctly because people will get sick. Also, there was a young girl taking phone orders who was very rude.

Great mom and pop local Italian take out place. We ordered the chicken Parmesan which comes with 2 large lightly breaded breasts, pasta, soup or salad and garlic bread for under $9. Tasted really good too. My wife had the Tortellini which was really good too. Very professional staff on the phone. 5 stars for a take out place. Haven't dinned in yet.

Extremely disappointed!!!!! Waited forever for delivery- Super RUDE when we called to check on our orders status ( waited an hour and twenty mins ). Finally....our pizza and two pastas arrived barely warm. Worst of all, the food wasn't even good. Waste of money

I totally flexed on that "Special " Its green peppers, onions, sausage, mushrooms, the works! Fantastic! The sauce on this pizza is good! Not in my top 5 BUT good enough! I've ordered Pizza from Colutas off and on over the years, it's average to me and not my first choice. I will usually get it when I'm with someone that likes a thicker dough crust and lots of sauce/cheese because they tend to load it on. If you're like me and use paper towels to soak up the cheese grease be prepared to use alot! But on the plus side it is reasonably priced and I've always gotten good service.

This place is fantastic! Great pizzas and they even sell them by the slice! Great delivery too.

The pizza is very tastey!!!!! The barbeque chicken is also good! Everything else is... "eh". Typical stuff... bland pasta, fried crap, blah blah blah.

  • Nico T.

Coluta's pizza is pretty good, but WAY too cheesy. They pile on an inch of gooey cheese, which overpowers the taste of the pizza completely. The cheese is of the rubbery and relatively flavorless variety, which doesn't help. They are very generous with the toppings and the crust isn't too thin, which helps a little. Still, after eating here I feel like I might not be able to go the bathroom for a week or two.

I have ordered only a few things from them, but have enjoyed them all. Their thin crust pizza is a hearty thin crust - but not too thick. Everything about the pizza is solid, and it can stand up nicely to a "garbage" topping option, which many super thins can not. The beef and tomato is pretty good as well. Their dinner specials are a nice change of pace, and their ribs, while not a must-have, are solid if someone has a taste for them and everyone else wants pizza.

  • Joe S.

While their thin is good, this place has the BEST STUFFED & PAN pizza anywhere! No place else will load the toppings on like Colutas. Price is right, food is great, and the delivery is always quick!

I cannot find a better Pizza place in this neighborhood. I love their pizza, not the individual slices, but when you buy the whole pizza, it is at your door hot and fresh with each piece cheese stringing off. It's great, Glad I found you.. :-)

Always fast always hot. Prices are cheap. Not super thin crust but i like the sauce and seasoning. Small place in a strip mall. Plenty of parking. Definitely worth considering if youre in the area. Theyve been here forever. Cant comment on the pizza toppings since i only get cheese on my pizza. I know, im weird.

Lou Malnati's what? I had been ordering from Caluto's via GrubHub for about two years. As you can tell, I'm a satisfied customer. So I decided to go in one evening for pickup. Fried ravioli. Buffalo chicken wings. Medium pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage pizza. Still a satisfied customer. The fried ravioli is the best. The wings were plump and the pizza puts most walk-in pizza shops to shame. I'll go so far as to add some brand name pizza restaurants to the list of shame. Caluto's is on like a light.

Gross. We ordered 2 pizzas from this place for the 1st time last night. The pizza was awful I wish we would of saved the $45 bucks. I would of rather got 9 pizzas from little Caesars it was that bad. I have all this extra pizza left with 5 adults & 2 kids because no one wants to eat it. Waste of money. My hot sauce wouldn't even cover the bad taste.

For the neighborhood pizza place, Coluta's is where it's at. After reading many of these reviews, I realized that a few of the reviewers either forgot how much they paid for their pizzas or they are lying about the expense. I have an actual menu in front of me and for an 18" cheese pizza its $17.50 plus $2.25 per ingredient. So unless you ordered a good 6 extra ingredients, there is no possible way that an 18" cost nearly $40. Also, a slice of pizza is $2.25-$2.50. Now that I've cleared that up, a good friend of mine is the hood and duct cleaner of over 500 Chicagoland restaurants, and he said that Coluta's is on his top 3 list of cleanest kitchens. It's always reassuring knowing that my food is being prepared in sanitary conditions and not a roach infested dump. Not to mention, the employees are always super friendly and down to earth. On top of reasonable prices, a clean kitchen, and awesome service... they have solid food. Their caesar salad is the best that you can possibly get delivered, thanks to the fresh parmesan cheese and creamy dressing, and their homemade croutons are better than any croutons that I've ever tasted in my entire life. I could go on and on about every menu item I've have had over the years, but I'll leave it at that. Check this place out!
