It's not kept clean as others have stated. I only come here because I go to school across the street. The weathers bad outside and it's not better in here they should consider turning the heat up it feels as if there's none here. Foods decent can't complain

Ugh...this place is a run down dump....absolutely no upkeep. The restrooms do not work, the venue itself is quite dirty and the tables and chair look like they were picked up from an abandoned factory. Customer service...I'm not sure there is any...it took us over 5 minutes just to order food and there were only 3 people ahead of us! When our orders were ready, the staff didn't even know what belonged to who. The only reason this place is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because the food itself is quite good. Stay away from the baked Mac n' Cheese...waste of time. It was quite average...even below average actually. The Chicken itself is very edible and tasty, so are the biscuits.

Recently tried their 99 cent chicken sandwiches. Stingy on the chicken and cold sesame bun. I know it's only 99 cents, but the spicy chicken sandwich on the dollar menu from Jack in the Box is 100% better than this place.

C'mon people! Phone calls? Lots of Ice? Church's Chicken was built on the foundation of zero customer service, minimum health department standards, and no dining room cleanliness! You know that going in. Its the fatty mcfatterton fat face stuffing chicken you go for. It actually gives you type II diabetes before you leave! Free parking (and car theft)!

I came to this place during my lunch break and it was ok. The place is run down and dirty. The tables and chairs looked gross and sticky. The service wasn't anything below what would be expected from a fast food joint. The chicken had a very yummy flavor (though far to greasy), but it didn't sit well with me whatsoever. The fries were a bit greasy and under seasoned but the biscuit... oh my. It was fantastic.

There are more KFC's and Popeye's in Chicago but for fast food fried chicken I prefer this place and their honey biscuits which don't come with butter but don't need to either because they're so tender. Don't bother calling this place. They've got a permanent busy signal.

I've never been to a Church's Chicken, so when spotted one while driving home from a Yelp event, I knew I had to stop just for the experience. It was about 8:30, and I was second in line. When I got to the front, the guy behind the counter was friendly enough (but maybe that's just because I smiled and was polite). He had a greased up 'stache that I found mildly impressive for a Hispanic guy (I thought only Hipsters and old southern rednecks were into 'stache coiffing?). They supposedly close at 9, but there were MOUNTAINS of chicken under heat lamps. Made me wonder what they do when it's not sold.. I like my chicken how I like my men, so ordered a 3 piece Spicy/Dark meat meal. It came with a honey biscuit. I took my order to go. Mannn, I knew I was in the 'hood, but didn't expect to come back to the parking lot to find two dudes loitering on my car. Tip: If you aren't driving a battered up Hooptie, park on the street. The chicken itself was disappointing - it had a sh!t ton of batter, half of which was "gummy" on the chicken side. Gross. Is it supposed to be like that?! I guess you get what you pay for. I don't feel the hype over Church's is warranted; I'll try Harold's next.

All I really wanted was a biscuit and fried okra. The honey biscuit had no honey & was so bland. Chicken was extra greasy but the fried okra was good. Did I mention my soda was flat? I wish it would go under new management, it needs an upgrade & more employees because service is slow.

No line and gotta try one of the greats. Fast and friendly service. Definitely need to try if you are in the area
