Cheap, crazy fast, and tasty, with generous portions. What else do you need from Chinese takeout?

Seems like it's hard to find a decent Chinese restaurant outside of Chinatown. This place is fast, cheap, and there was so much delicious food the container still looked full when I couldn't eat another bite. After reading other reviews, I went for the pot stickers. They are huge and flavorful with perfect texture. The best I've had, in OR out of Chinatown.

It is a little hole in the wall place but I decided to try out because some of the best food comes from hole in the Wale joints. I ate the orange chicken lunch special it was decent. The eggrolls are good.the price is a little higher than other Chinese lunch specials. The rice is comparable to other places.

Chengs has fallen apart. The past two orders have been very sub par. Bland with no flavor. Sauces seem very glutinous with little flavor. There were a couple of very poor tasting shrimp in their fried rice. Too bad panda doesn't deliver...can't do Chinatown every day. I will not order again unless they offer a promotional deal. Boo Chengs! :(

Really disappointing. The reviews posted indicated this place was the closest thing you can get to china town without actually going to Chinatown. It is not even close. You cannot make up for bland, over-cooked food with salty soy sauce. the dumplings are greasy, the "Large Shrimp" were over cooked, and the whole dish was just ... bland. And I don't even know how to describe just how lame the ribs were. If this is the best Chinese in the area, outside of Chinatown, there is a real opportunity for an authentic Chinese restaurant to come in and make a killing.

you guys. no. just no. i was wowed by all the rave reviews. then ... fast forward to 3 minutes after the food was delivered: it was in the trash. bad. real bad. they get points for a super fast delivery. (though - i think that's just because they must be super slow. just saying.)

Well after moving from lincoln sq. the husband and I didnt think we'd find anything close to wah sun. We were wrong. The place is clean and the employees are lovely.Although I havent tried many dishes I will say the meal specials do not skimp! Honestly Id be happy ordering their dumplings and crab rangoon as a meal. Chengs...please dont change anything! Im worried the quality will go downhill once this place is more popular. *crossing fingers*

Fair to middling Chinese basics. The lunch special is quantity over quality. For $6.25 I got an egg roll, a can of soda, and enough sesame chicken and fried rice to feed four people. The chicken was dried out but the sauce was ok, giving me hope that maybe it can improve. It's cheap and decent, ok if you live nearby, not worth a drive.

Average Chinese food, massive portions, quick delivery. Not great, but not bad. The dinner entrees are enough for 2 people. Would definitely order from here again, but I still prefer Friendship in the Logan Square neighborhood.

This is our new takeout, staying in- date night jam. We live just steps away from this place and decided to give it a shot especially after one morning I was walking by and noticed they were having FRESH vegetables and produce delivered. It's comforting to know that food is prepared fresh and doesn't come from a freezer. Not to mention, the portions are HUGE. So large in fact, that I weighed our takeout bag of lo mein and general tso's chicken and it was over 6 pounds of food. our Dinner turned into 3 meals. In a neighborhood that is quickly shifting into a craft cocktail, bone marrow kind of place.. it's nice to know that there is a not so fancy, but yummy chinese place just around the corner.

For the price point you'll get generous portions and quick delivery service. While I always will chose Chinatown establishments first when thinking Chinese food, this is one of the next best things to that.

This is just a fantastic Chinese take out place. Portions are great; food tastes great; there was white meat chicken in the sesame chicken; pot stickers were AWESOME; and they had gave high quality chopsticks with the order, not that splintery bamboo. It has just become our go-to place for Chinese!

My girlfriend came home a few drinks in with a Cheng's bag under her arm, perfect! I never have to even ask. Random assortment of things I don't know what they are, maybe shrimp fried rice, some beef appetizers, steamed dumplings, all delicious.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to chinese food, but this food was great! Probably the best crab rangoon I've ever had. Cheap and the delivery was within an hour. Get some!

This Chinese food hits the spot. A lot better than most Chinese food places especially outside of Chinatown. Very generous servings and real meat, not the grade D stuff that most places use. Combination fried rice, combination egg fu young, orange chicken and broccoli beef are my favorites.

Yelp member since 2008. 5 years later I'm writing my first review, and I'm doing it for Cheng's Chopsticks. That's how excited I am to finally have a good Chinese delivery joint. It's one of the things that I've missed most since moving to WP...or even Chicago overall, for that matter. Until now, I've always ruled out ordering Chinese food outside of Chinatown. Got the general tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, and some hot/sour soup. Everything was good, it was delivered quickly, and it was super cheap for an enormous amount of food. This very well may be the best value for delivery food I know of. Thank you Cheng's for making my lazy Monday night. I guess I should work on my profile now.

Love this place! Great food and super fast delivery! Usually I have to add soy sauce to my fried rice but not with this place. Everything has just the right amount of flavor. Oh if you like Crab Rangoon, definitely order it from here. Best Crab Rangoon in town!

I was excited to try this restaurant since so many other yelpers liked it. Big mistake. The food was not good. We ordered the wonton noodle soup which taste like cardboard. The dumplings had this chalky taste to it. We also got crab rangoon and fried rice. I had high expectations for this place. We will not be going back.

My husband and I ordered from here. The amount of food we got for the price was great! Also the food tasted great! We have a Chinese restaurant just around the corner from us and their food is hit or miss. We are glad we ordered from here.

This place is great. The food is pretty good for what you're paying for. The main reason I'm giving them 5/5 is because their portions are awesomely huge. So much so that they have to staple the containers shut. There's a guy on here that complained about that and I think that is pretty petty. They have a huge range of food and they get that food done in a decent amount of time. I got delivery and it took about 45 minutes for 3 different entrees. It also came with a pair of reusable chopsticks which I thought was wicked awesome. Finally a go-to Chinese place for me in Logan Square.

Nothing revelatory here, just good, fast, cheap, and consistent Chinese takeout within walking distance of my house. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service fast and friendly, the kitchen clean and bright, and the prices tough to beat.

Another of my favorite fast food Chinese restaurants that I love. Delivery is quick and food tasted amazing. I usually get their egg rolls, pot stickers, and fried rice. With a bigger group I add the orange chicken or beef and broccoli. Could not recommend this place enough if you want quick take out or delivery and have a craving for chinese food.

OK the saying always goes there is no bad pizza. Trust me there is. However I've always thought there really isn't bad Chinese takeout places just OK to really good. This is in the really good category. Having just moved we are a little low on food around the house. Having had a few friends over for drinks on a Sunday afternoon I was feeling a little tipsy and needed some sustenance like now. So, I thought I would walk the few blocks to Dante's my pizza slice dispensary of choice in the area. However while walking down Armitage I saw this place and was like CHINESE FOOD! Stopped in ordered a large sweet and sour chicken to go. What surprised me in a good way is the quality of the chicken used. WHITE MEAT! Noticed that right away. The only complaint I have was the container of sauce they gave me, it was bigger than the rice container and as full as the one with chicken.... Seemed a little heavy handed. Won't keep me from coming back because it was really good for a cheap price.

Cheng's Chopsticks has great take-out Chinese American food. Although they all tend to follow the same formula: fast, low-cost, plentiful lunch plates, Cheng's food is really good, and it's noticeably less greasy. Normally, I wouldn't order fried rice, but the shrimp fried rice that comes with the lunch specials is so flavorful. I love the egg rolls, too - they are also shrimp and you can see shrimp. My stomach is sensitive and oily foods will easily upset it, but no issues here. So far, this is my favorite in the Logan Square area.

I was highly impressed at how fast the service was! I ordered the shrimp with noodle soup and the broccoli with onions in oyster sauce. The soup had no flavor and barely any shrimp. It was basically just broth and noodles, too many noodles, and not enough of everything else. The broccoli and onions in oyster sauce was SO SALTY. I felt like my tongue was going to shrivel up when I ate it. I do think it is semi excusable since it is very cheap and I rarely have high standards for Chinese takeout. My delivery driver was very nice as well.

This review pertains to their weekday delivery via Grubhub: Very prompt and excellent food! We enjoyed the General Tso's Chicken, BBQ Lo Mein, and crab Rangoon. All tasted as expected. The crab Rangoon had a good amount of stuffing and was fried well, nice and crispy while the crab and cream stayed all warm and yum. The BBQ lo mein was excellent as the noodles weren't overdone and the BBQ flavoring wasn't over the top. General Tso was as expected. Which is great of course. We found our Chinese delivery! Hurray!

I can see this place off my balcony it's so close, and so, in the months leading up to its opening, I kept glancing in to check on its progress. Early indications of the kind of Chinese restaurant it would manifest were disappointing -- looked just like every fast foot bistro. But once it finally opened, I gave it a try -- and my second-guessing was in vain. This place is a terrific step up from the typical Chinese dive, even if, from a distance, it looks questionably bland. As you'd expect, the menu is very large with the usual crop of dishes. As many other reviewers have noted, the chicken meat is white, which is astounding for this kind of place. The portions are ludicrously oversized for their moderate prices -- my large order of fried rice lasted three extra days as left-overs. And best of all, they sell brown rice. Yes, brown rice. If you're ever in a pinch and need to stock up on the stuff, this is pretty convenient. Clever Chinese up-selling. Cheng's Chopsticks comes highly recommended if you're in the area and in the mood for this kind of Chinese fare. I'd get delivery or take-out, though, as the inside is small, and the ill-advised placement of a fan on the ceiling (hanging just beneath the lights) casts a seizure-inducing strobe effect over all the tables. I almost went cross-eyed trying to read the menu. Other than that, enjoy.

Food is great the only problem I have is the small is extra small the large is medium and when you ask for old style you get an extra small box for 7 bucks . I say rip off! I like the food but with all the chinese rest around here I would use what my competitor's are selling which the correct sizes and if it isnt a real small then explain!. But again over all great eats

Really what I envision when i think takeout Chinese. Got the S&S chicken and it had big pieces of white meat in each nugget. Also had the beef fried rice and the meat was very tender and tasty. Another bonus: the person who answers the phone speaks fluent English! You don't have to annunciate or pray they got your order correct.

This place is similar to the other fast Chinese places in the neighborhood the advantage this one has for me is that it is in walking distance to our place. The food is fast, hot, and pretty good quality. I have had multiple things from here and never had a bad dish. I also like that with the dinner special you get an egg roll, and a can of soda to complete the meal.

I'm always on the lookout for new delivery and take out places in the area. I had noticed this on a trek to parson's+scofflaw one night and made the mental note about them. Cheng's is a pretty classic American-style chinese take-out/delivery place. That's not a bad thing in any which way as I always have a craving for some General Tso's or Sesame Chicken. Once that craving came up again, it was take-out time. I did my usual of sesame chicken, potstickers, and some crab rangoon. I knew that I would be working on the sesame chicken for two days, so I wanted some sort of control for comparisons sake. I thought the potstickers were exactly what I was looking for. I generally like to have them steamed and they really hit the spot. The crab rangoon had a good amount of filling in it as well and was pretty classic crab rangoon. I was definitely a fan of the sesame chicken as well. I'm glad it didn't have that over-fried or sometimes too buttery taste to it (and this is from a guy who loves french cuisine, but sometimes you can taste pure butter on other places sesame chicken) as that kind of sesame chicken ends up feeling like a giant lump in my stomach. This didn't happen here, but it does need to be noted that a large is definitely a lot of chicken. So, know that it can really feed 3 people if you want it in one go, or just do like I did and slowly work on it over the course of 2 days. Cheng's would be at 3.5 stars if Yelp finally put in the half star (though I know we'd then be complaining about not having quarter stars as well). But, it doesn't get into that 4* category for me. That's just fine though as I enjoyed my food and will certainly hit up Cheng's again.

It was good - we had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the General Tso Chicken, Crab Rangoon, Hot and Sour soup - Lordy it was a lot of food. Regardless - it was pretty good, I just wish it was delivered HOT. It took about an hour and it was cold/room temp. Next time I will pick it up!

Let it be known that I seriously dislike Chinese food, but my husband likes it and I TRY to humor him on occasion. So far, Cheng's has been the only fast delivery Americanized Chinese food sort of place that I've not just found to be NOT sketchy (though it looks a little sketchy from the outside) but actually pretty good. I appreciate the white meat chicken, the extra dose of fresh veggies and how non-greasy Cheng's food is. Chinese still won't ever be my pick for delivery, but I can at least deal with the occasion order from Cheng's.

We ordered take out for a family dinner. We ordered crab Rangoon everyone liked it, the egg rolls were not my favorite but maybe if we had dated there they would have been better. The potstickers were also very good. The Mongolian beef was tasty and general tso's chicken was good and so was the Lo Mein. We are feeding a bunch of picky grownups and kids but, everyone wanted to take home the leftovers. Good prices and good food. You will not be disappointed.

I can't believe I have not written a review for Cheng's yet! They are right around the corner from my house, and a fabulous choice for fresh Chinese. I usually get the chow fun, which is perfection with a couple squirts of sriracha. Their egg rolls are also out of this world, some of the best I've ever had. The qualify of the food here is above par, especially compared with a lot of other local options, and portions are still large enough for two meals. Give it a try.

We ordered Cheng's this past Friday night and delivery took just over an hour. We ordered the Orange Chicken Dinner Special and the Beef With Hot Garlic Sauce Dinner Special. Both were advertised as spicy, but disappointingly they were not spicy at all. The dinner specials were also supposed to come with egg rolls, which we did not receive. Another disappointment. The Crab Rangoon were GIGANTIC which was exciting, but they didn't come with any of that red/pink dipping sauce that every other Chinese place gives you... so they didn't really get eaten. The food tasted okay, but it was really heavy/greasy and I felt kinda nauseous almost immediately afterwards.

I love this place !!! I can't believe I live 2 blocks away and never noticed it . I love Chinese food and this place have very good food. I always order for puck up . I have had the Crab Rangoon its delicious . Fried Rice combination, Egg Rolls , orange chicken its so good. I like their Lo Mein Combination. Their portions are very generous!!!! I still gotta try their lunch specials for $6.25 and you get an Egg Roll Totally recommend this place .

This place is great! I cannot rave enough about their solid white meat chicken. Anyone who frequents chinese knows how rare that is! The store front is a little run-down, but don't judge a book by it's cover. The food is pretty great. Our regular menu orders include the crab rangoon, egg rolls, kung pao beef, mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, won ton soup and egg drop soup. Their soups are alright. The beef is alright, but the chicken is where it's at! A quick tip: Definitely get a lunch or dinner special. SO much food! You get an entree, white or shrimp fried rice, an egg roll and a canned drink for under $10! It's a great deal!

I really like Cheng's! I always get the chicken dishes. You can't beat the all white meat. Their food is flavorful and not too greasy or salty. I like the chicken fried rice and spicy Kung Pao chicken. Nice big chunks of fresh veggies, too. Delivery is fast to Logan Square - about 30 min, and the delivery guys are so friendly. They always try to turn down my tip - but I insist.

I grew up outside of Chinatown, so I was spoiled to having inexpensive AND good Chinese/Chinese-American food readily available. Now that I live in Logan Square, I have been searching for something on par on days when I don't feel like driving too far from home. I have tried 3 other restaurants in the area and I am happy to have finally of found it!! Items ordered chicken wings with fried rice (upgraded to beef for +$1) dinner special. The box was overflowing with fried rice and 4 huge wings, egg roll and a soda. Small order of pork lo mein. Boyfriend scooped some into his bowl and it barely looked like he made a dent in the take out box. Pot stickers were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Small egg foo young came with two huge patties and a small container of rice. Gravy was pretty good and not overly salted. We were hungry and I over ordered. So obviously there was tons of leftovers. But then again, there would of been leftovers regardless if we only ordered two entrees! Price is extremely reasonable, less greasy, and more of a selection when compared to other local Chinese restaurants in the area. Great lunch and dinner specials. Fresh ingredients. Large portions. The have brown rice for those who do not want white rice. Food is ready super fast (within 15- 20 minutes of ordering). Interior is clean and friendly staff. I just wish they were open later! And I wonder if they have a secret Chinese menu...

I have ordered from here a few times. My go to for Chinese take-out. Delivery sometimes takes a little while but the food is worth it. All the meats I have tried (mongolion beef and various chicken) are really good. Not crappy meat! Egg drop soup is really thick though. I couldn't eat it because of its texture! Overall, good choice!

I really really like this place....and I don't typically like Chinese food. My fiancé and I have been ordering from this place pretty regularly now and the food is always consistently good, fast, and inexpensive. My favorite part has to be that they use actually white meat chicken! There is no mystery meat here. Also the egg rolls are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this spot and I'm very picky so you can trust me :)

Stopped for some eat-in with wife and kid. Not much to say: Prices are average, portions and generous, and taste is better than many. I've eaten at a lot of Chinese places and I would/will eat here again. Oh, and we found $5 crossing the street on our way over. That cemented 4 stars from me. If they leave a tenner out for next time we come, I'll raise it to 5.

Yes, 4 stars for classic Americanized Chinese food. 3 for the food itself, and 1 for the speed and the price. More bang for the buck then even expected after reading all of the positive yelp reviews. Food was ready CRAZY fast, and ready less than 20 minutes from ordering. Portions were huge, and we're going to have left overs for days! Everything tasted exactly as you'd expect, but there was a level of freshness in all of the ingredients that eliminated any question of wether or not things were made from scratch. We tried classics like Kung Pao Chicken, and also vegetable fried rice. We of course also got some classic deep fried appetizers. Egg rolls (both veg and non) were huge and delicious. The crab rangoon was... really good. For me, the surprise hit was something listed as just "Fried Crab" on the menu. Sure, it was made out of imitation crab sticks, but the chunks of meat were huge, and the tempura batter was delicious. Imagine a large Chinese cardboard takeout box filled with deep fried mini corndogs, and you'll get an idea of the surprise I felt when opening up the dish. No question we will be back again and again.

Meh. I tried this place when I had a craving for kung pao chicken. The delivery was fast and they were very nice. The food was... lacking. It definitely had a little spice to it which was nice but I feel like that's all I tasted--it didn't compliment the individual ingredients. Fried rice was greasy and not in a good way.

    (3)
  • Katie F.

Tastes like what you would expect from a mall food court. The crab rangoon had a thick batter and little filling and I'm pretty sure there was chicken in the moo shu vegetables (vegetarians beware). The kung pao shrimp was syrupy and had a bad after-taste. It's very cheap so I guess I got what I paid for.

Right down the street but the location is not the reason this is my go-to Chinese carry out, it's because the food is good, quick and not trying to be something it isn't. I usually base my Chinese restaurant grading on the egg rolls, well this place has surpassed most and the crab Rangoon actually has crab in it! Mongolian rice is delish, we make that a full meal with some egg rolls by asking for extra egg, ya know for the protein :) orange chicken is what you would expect just as the sweet and sour entrees. Pretty much this place is what you are looking for on that "I don't want to cook" or when you look at each other and say "chinese??" reasonable and pretty darn good.

I live in the neighborhood and have been looking for a Chinese take out place to scratch that Ameri-Chinese itch. In the past couple of years I've tried quite a few in the area and have settled in on Cheng's. I have ordered from here 4 times and have been very satisfied with the quality of the food; both take out and delivery. This is the place and my go to in my delivery area.

Good not great. Just your average Chinese takeout spot. No aroma of any food in this place just a stale grease odor but since everyone had such great things to say I took a chance. The chicken in the Orange chicken was dry and hard to chew, the Mongolian beef was mostly vegetables and gravy and the crab Rangoon was not what I was hoping for. Ham egg foo young and rice was nothing special. Side note, they have on their menu something called "Puerto Rico fried rice", I want you ALL to know there is no such thing. Puerto Ricans do not fry their rice neither do they make rice containing shrimp, beef, chicken and green beans. My son and I had a nice laugh about it but I really wish they would change that. Not cool but made for a funny story. Won't be going back, sorry. I really wanted to like this place.

  • J. M.

Not sure if we ordered wrong, however, the food was not good. Orange chicken was drenched in sauce, lo mein was bland, fried rice tasted like kerosine. The spare ribs were fairly good as was the egg roll. They do give you a ton of food though!

  • Joel S.

Not a bad place. The price was actually pretty good for a family of two dinner . There was enough food there for at least two or even three days. . They did include some kind of funky fried wonton chips, but I was not impressed by that at all. The menu is massive and has about at least 80 to 90 items on it so it can get a little confusing. At the end of the day the food was relatively decent, it's a good place to go if you just want a quick Chinese meal. Don't expect much when you get there its a real divey place.

Super fast. Super good. No skimping here. Large lo-mein feeds me and my boyfriend lunch and some of dinner. One chicken dish we can also split for lunch! Orange chicken is really really good. White meat! Very decent, fast, affordable Chinese take-out. Really, would you be looking for more?

Hands down my favorite Chinese food outside of Chinatown. Everything I've had from here has been better than expected and I even find myself driving 20 minutes just for some crab Rangoon now that I've moved. The portions are huge and their lunch and dinner specials are great. I ordered two dinner specials for me and my lady friend and we weighed the bag... 6 lbs of food! That would feed a family of 4 for several weeks...

Cheap. Easy. Fast. Not me, silly! I'm talking about delivery from Cheng's Chopsticks. Since moving to Logan Square a couple of years ago, I've been trying in vain to find a decent place for chinese food delivery. Eventually I just gave up. But then, a couple weeks ago, I spied Cheng's on Yelp, and lo and behold, it was in my neighborhood, and the reviews were very positive. I decided to give it a try. First of all, the menu is huge, and most of the dishes are available in three sizes, something I've never seen before. The prices are unbelievably reasonable. I was really hungry when I placed my order so I overdid it a bit, but hello, chinese food leftovers are the best! I was quoted about an hour for delivery, but it came in thirty minutes. Everything was piping hot and the containers were practically overflowing. Egg roll: C;. A little grease is not only not usually a problem, but it's almost welcome in chinese food, but this was almost overwhelmingly greasy. But it was free with my order, so I can't complain too much. Would likely skip again as there are plenty of other appetizers to choose. I'll have to get the pot stickers everyone's been raving about. Sesame chicken : this is a B+. As has been mentioned, they use all white meat. White meat in chinese food is the unicorn, and it's why I almost never order from most places. It's pretty easy to use dark meat, or worse, "mystery meat" when it's a dish that's breaded, but it's all boneless chicken breast at Cheng's. Some of it was a little overcooked, but overall, this was a win. Vegetable fried rice: A-; tons of fresh vegetables in this, and "good" vegetables were used; none of the cheap "filler" ones. The veggies were nice and crunchy and not overcooked. Chicken and broccoli: B+. This is not generally a very flavorful dish, but it was fresh and well-prepared (again, all white meat). If I'm in the mood for something plain and simple, I would definitely get this again. Garlic beef: C-; I didn't find this to be very garlicky, and the sauce was rather sweet but also a little spicy. Despite this, it was pretty bland and one-dimensional. So I wasn't exactly blown away by the food, but for the value and convenience, I don't think I can do much better, so Cheng's looks to be my new go-to for chinese food delivery. 3.5 stars.

so far, I really like this place. As others have mentioned, the chicken is White Meat!! This is HUGE for me as I tend not to eat meat dishes from Chinese restaurants because I am paranoid. Not here! We ordered: Orange Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Veggie Egg Rolls, Vegetable Lo Mein, and Mongolian Fried Rice (substituted pork for the shrimp due to allergy). All of this food came out to under $30! We had leftovers of everything due to the huge portions. Everything was delicious - I will definitely be back. They packed everything we needed, forks, tons of soy and sweet and sour sauce, fortune cookies and some really nice chopsticks. The place is clean, small, cute. There about 4 chairs along the wall (I guess to wait for your take out) and about a dozen other chairs scattered around the few tables they have. I appreciated that the person who took my order was very sweet about our substitutions: no shrimp, not spicy, etc. If anything she was like "OK, no problem" They take credit cards, with a $10 minimum and also deliver to a limited area. A suggestion: there are a lot of items on the menu, I was really confused so I just started ordering individual items. Don't be overwhelmed like me, start by checking out the Lunch specials, which also lists the price for AFTER lunch. It may be a better deal than ordering by item, like I did. Finally, a Chinese restaurant near my home that I like!

Best "dirty" chinese in Logan Square. Well, maybe not in all of Logan square, but definitely probably close. And I only say "dirty" because it is greasy (but it is soo gooood). Plus, you always get your monies worth, and the food is realllllyyy good. I am obsessed with their eggrolls and crab rangoons. My go-to entree is veggie fried rice, and the veggies are always fresh tasting and never mushy, grey, or seem like they might have come from a can.

Hurray!

Cheap. Easy. 3.5 stars.

Super fast delivery, and solid food. We have yet to have a bad experience here. Quality food, all white meat chicken, large portions - what more do you need from your local Chinese delivery?

Hands down my favorite Chinese food outside of Chinatown. Everything I've had from here has been better than expected and I even find myself driving 20 minutes just for some crab Rangoon now that I've moved. The portions are huge and their lunch and dinner specials are great. I ordered two dinner specials for me and my lady friend and we weighed the bag... 6 lbs of food! That would feed a family of 4 for several weeks...

My new go to delivery for Chinese. Great crab rangoons, very crunchy and garlicky! Very good wonton soup and orange chicken. Very generous with the meats in the happy family! Good value.

Fantastic for the price. It's American Chinese food, nothing more. I'm docking one star because of all the times I've ordered, I've never received chopsticks. Keep supporting this local business!

A generous helping of good food, quickly, and at a reasonable price. Best Chinese takeout I've had in Chicago.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
