Rosa J. loves the Chicago "neighborhoods." Customers at work often ask her for recommendations on local "quick bite" places in downtown/loop/Streeterville areas, but she freezes and feels a bit embarrassed since she's a self-proclaimed "Chicago foodie." Well, that's about to change. She has started broadening her horizon in the downtown Chicago area. Back to the usage of first-person pronoun, I purchased a groupon on Bombay Wraps since it's a place that hubby can partake since many items on the menu are vegetarian-friendly. Apparently, it's a fairly new joint, with chic-looking furniture, bright lights, and clean facilities. The groupon basically provided $10-worth of credit to spend on food and beverages. I chose the unwrapped version of lamb curry, while hubby picked the two (2) wraps meal combo special. If you have chosen the "unwrapped" option, it would be presented on a plate with a cup of spiced lime vinaigrette dressing (similar to a salad bowl...in an Indian style). I personally thought the meal combo deal was right on the money. The "wrapped" style would cost less than the "unwrapped" version. If you were to choose two (2) wraps, you could get a fountain pop for $0.99 extra. For instance, hubby's potato tava wrap ($3.99), samosa wrap ($3.99), and a fountain drink ($0.99) would make the entire meal under $10. We paid approximately $10-difference since the lamb curry was one of the most expensive items on the menu ($8.99). I wouldn't consider the portions as generous, yet they were enough for individuals with healthy appetites. My lamb curry "salad" was average. Although I requested "spicy," it wasn't anything strong that would cause a burning sensation. Hubby enjoyed his wraps, but he did agree with me that the entire meal was on a "pricer" side. Nevertheless, I would prefer Bombay Wraps over other "fast-foodie" commercial chains nearby in a heartbeat! The dining room was very comfortable, with Indian music videos constantly playing. Who wouldn't like synchronized dance moves and syncopated music beats? This location is pretty close to the Navy Pier and Lake Shore Drive. If you ever end up staying or visiting in the downtown/Magnificent Mile part of town, Bombay Wraps would be a good alternative if you are trying to steer away from the Mc*ona*d's.

Pros: Tasty bites, quick service, friendly staff, clean restaurant Cons: Price, small portions, inconsistent sizing Came here to grab dinner the other night. Clean set up and super friendly staff even with the store coming close to closing time. The ordering and prep works pretty similar to a Chipotle line, where you can choose between a wrap or salad bowl and then pick from a variety of traditional Indian fillings. Being a bit on the hungrier side, I opted for 2 wraps and tried the chicken tikka and lamb curry wraps. I have so say both were pretty tasty, however I noticed the chicken tikka wrap had considerably less meat than my curry lamb wrap. At just under $12, I have to say I expected a good amount of food, but my togo bag definitely felt a bit on the lighter side. And after inhaling both, I definitely was still hungry. Maybe portion control is a good thing, but I must say I expected more for what I paid. Also, I forgot to add that both came with options for spicy or mild. Mild is really mild, I'll give the spicy a chance the next time I'm in. I really hope they adjust their portions and pricing accordingly, because other than that the food is really good! 'Til next time!

Very delicious but quite small wraps. For the price (for instance, you can get a vegetarian wrap for $4!), it makes sense, though. A nice location for a quick bite in Streeterville. The staff is consistently very kind.

Service was great. The food was alright. I had the chicken tikka wrap with a side of samosas and sweet potato fries. The wrap was so much better than what I was expecting. It was flaky and the chicken was cooked just right and went well with the sauces. I don't recommend ordering the sides. The samosas were very small but generously stuffed. They were overcooked and pretty hard. The fries were near burnt. Don't get me wrong, the fries were good but they just had a burnt taste to them. They offered me a cup for water without me asking and threw away my trash once I was done. It's a fast food place, something I don't expect the workers to do. Overall, I'd return to try their other wraps!

I love me some Bombay Wraps. A newer fast food entrant to the Streeterville area, Bombay Wraps provides wraps and plates of popular Indian street food at reasonable prices in a well lit, modern and funky dining space. Get your wrap ($3-$7) in flaky buttery paratha bread or whole wheat roti. I prefer paratha. Wrap fillings run from spicy potatoes or paneer cheese for vegetarian options, to savory lamb curry or probably the most popular, tender chicken tikka for meat options. Samosas (Indian veggie rangoons, essentially) are excellent. Haven't tried desserts. You can build your own fountain drink, buy familiar bottled favorites, or be adventurous like me and try the goofy foreign drinks. The mango juice box was sweet but had spices in it. Not good. The aloe/honey drink from Thailand, however, was a hit. An ultra-suave British/Indian looking bloke must be the proprietor of this spot. He's there a lot. Other than that, employees are cheery and helpful. A TV plays Bollywood stuff over the dining room, which is funny to watch. Look up "Bollywood Boss video" for a laugh. I love loyalty/rewards programs but BW may just have too many. From Spring Rewards to a loyalty punch card to AAdvantage Dining miles, methinks they're giving away too much for marketing.

Wraps were tasted alright, but for the price you're paying for them, you'd expect a little more food. I ordered the Samosa Wrap and the Chicken Tikka Wrap, and actually did enjoy both of them. The Samosa Wrap had incredibly crunchy pieces of Samosa in it with a nicely spiced mix of potatoes and peas. As for the Chicken Tikka, the pieces of chicken were cubed and weren't dry, but could have used a bit more in depth in terms of spices. The sauce that they drizzled on was good, but nothing phenomenal. Perhaps I'm being critical because I've made these at home before and know that it really doesn't take that much effort to heat up a Paratha Roll(they can sell these at the grocery store and are just as flaky and delicious), and then throw in some meat + onions + sauce in the mix. At $4 for a vegetable roll, and around $5 for a meat one, you should expect to get something a little more substantial.

Stayed in Chicago for 3 days and ate here every single day! It was 30 seconds walk from Hilton's double tree hotel and we found ourselves having our brunch here everyday. I am vegetarian so can only speak for the vegetarian wraps. Chickpea chana and potato tava both are pretty nice - but the 5 stars that I gave them are mainly for the Cheese Paneer wrap. mixed it up with chutney and pickled onions - and it tasted heavenly. They also have a collection of lassis - Mango lassi is where you simply cannot go wrong. The other one - coconut + pineapple lassi was something I tried for the first time - very unique! It was something you should try at least once. I personally found it too sweet - but then I am not much of a fan of sweets anyway! They also give you a choice between roti and parantha based wraps. I tried both and I will go for the parantha based wraps any day but if you are big on avoiding too many calories- then the roti wrap is for you. If i go back to Chicago - I am definitely going back here !

I live and work in Streeterville and rarely leave my downtown bubble. My sense of adventure involves trying the new restaurants that pop up around my hood. So I was power walking home for lunch one day with my blinders on when I decided to take an early left turn directly into this newly opened establishment. I walked straight up to the menu, decided on the Beef Kabob Wrap and only the Beef Kabob Wrap, paid, received my food, and beelined for my living room couch. There could have been a mutant monkey sitting at a table and I wouldn't have noticed it. If you'd ask me about the color of the floors, walls, tables or chairs, I would have no idea. Anyway, my first impression when I opened the foil was, damn, this is sort of small. But it was tasty! And - surprisingly filling. Oh - and they gave me a $5 coupon! Okay, I like you guys. Today I ordered the "make-me-whatever-you-desire" off of GrubHub for takeout. Pick up was quick and easy, the staff was friendly. I took a moment to take a look at the aesthetics of the place. It's a pretty typical fast-casual venue: simple, clean, crisp and modern. My meal, which I, again, ate on my living room couch, was more elaborate than the first, and just as delicious. The staff at Bombay had bestowed upon me a Chicken Tikka Wrap, three Samosas, a side of cilantro chutney, and some super odd, bright orange fudge-looking thing. To be honest I really had no idea what I was eating, as my experience with Indian food is minimal and I didn't even think I liked it - but I am now a fan. I took an itty bitty nibble of the dessert and had to pass. I've received plenty of rejection when I try to share my Polish sweets with people, so deep down I knew the people of Bombay would understand. If you're in the area, check this place out for some unique, quick dishes at a bargain. You won't regret it.

NYC has Kati Roll, and Chicago has... Bombay Wraps? OK, honestly, I wouldn't necessary say it's on the same caliber as Kati Roll in NYC, but oh my, is Bombay wraps tasty!! It's fast food, so very convenient for those needing a quick bite while shopping on Mich Ave, doing touristy things and needing something to hold them over until dinner, or just looking for something quick and tasty! My favorite at Kati Roll is the Paneer wrap, so naturally that's what I gravitated to at Bombay wraps - and it was tasty! The guy asked if I wanted it mild or spicy and I asked how spicy spicy was - he said about a 7, so I said mild and that was still kind of spicy for me! So, if you're not a huge fan of too much spice, opt for the mild knowing that you'll still need a water chaser! But, it's delicious enough that you won't care! Yelp's check in offer is 10% off wraps! And, as I was ordering, my phone died! As I was checking out, the cashier told me that she put in the happy hour deal for me which is 20% off wraps! So, definitely try this place around the late afternoon to get this deal! Worth it! They even have a little section with indian spices, snacks, condiments, etc - so if you're living downtown and don't want to hike to the nearest indian store, this is a quick place to grab a few things (likely overpriced, I didn't look too closely). Overall, very good - and if I'm staying at the Intercontinental again like I was this time (and do on every trip to the city), I'll be back :) PS they have free wifi!

My husband and I went here today. We ordered Chicken tikka bowl with salad and paneer wrap. I was trying to be healthy. The salad was good and spicy but the wrap is sooooo much better. Get the wraps!!! I love this place.

Delicious Indian Wraps with tasty filings! Cheese Paneer is the clear winner. In love with the new introduced Rice Bowl. Great concept and reasonable prices :)

Ohhh it's okay. I probably wouldn't come back with all of the great food around every corner in Chicago. I stopped by right after opening at 11am on a weekday, and of course there were no other customers. The place is clean, bright and open. The staff are okay - not all that friendly, but not rude. They just get the job done. I read the reviews about wraps being small, so I got two...in reality, it was too much food. They aren't THAT small. I got one for my wife and she was happy only getting one, and was full along with the sweet potato fries. We had the chicken tikka wrap which was good (my wife got one also, and liked it), and the potato tava which was only okay. The sweet potato fries were the highlight - quite tasty. So yeah, it's okay, but...I'm not lovin' it by any means. Overall disappointing.

I'm an avid middle eastern food lover but this place is not one I love. Honestly I'm disappointed in two things: portions and food. Portions based on price are small and food is not impressive. The person in front of me got a lamb wrap and this did not have more than a few sauces. As I saw it prepared, I thought of Taco Bell. A Taco Bell bean burrito is bigger than the wrap. Seriously just try for yourself. You will see what I meAn.

  • Gina C.

The tikka wrap is so tasty and delicious. I like the spicy chutney and onions. I wish this place was in Phoenix. The service is quick.

After trying their another outlet on N wells St, we went to mother outlet on E Ohio St. It's bigger in size and has some Indian tea etc products for sale. The cheese wraps were good like before. Tried samosa wrap as well this time. It's a good one. Rewards program which I subscribed to last time has some glitches which the owner said she will look into. Let's see when it gets solved. Rest all good.

  • Enid S.

The chicken Tikka wrap is where it's at, the chicken reshimi wrap is good and a bight lighter on the flavor, also the lamb wrap was on point. Great for the price and they have a few typical Indian spices and condiments that you can buy to take home.

  • Anshul K.

Chipotle for Indian food. If you haven't tried Indian food before, this is a great place to get a crash course. The wraps are delicious and are reasonably priced. Two wraps and I was full and satisfied.

  • Jennie C.

What a pleasant surprise! Came here for lunch because I wanted something different from the usual sandwiches. Opted for chicken tikka salad bowl and got a huge bowl of fresh salad with generous topping of flavorful chicken. So flavorful, in fact, I didn't need any of the salad dressing that came with it (though I did taste it and found the flavor interesting). I think I'd get the sauce on the side next time because it got a bit too salty near the end but overall a decent meal!

    (4)
  • Angelo B.

Wraps tasted good, and there was a generous amount of meat (in the tikka wrap). However, I'm only giving 3 star because they are small. As others mentioned, you'd need at LEAST 2. I actually came here right after dinner one day, ate 1 wrap plus an order of samosas, and was still hungry. 10% Yelp check in discount!

    (3)
  • David S.

HOLD THE PHONE... This place is fire. Wraps are on the small side so if you're hungry get two. Tika Chicken Wrap is on point. Fantastic alternative to a Chipotle or Jersey Mikes typa meal plus you feel a bit more cultured getting Indian... Know you feel me on that one. Shouts Bombay Wraps. Free Gucci.

  • Jessie Elizabeth J.

Taking into account as others have stated that the wraps are quite small for what you get, i'm basing my review on flavor alone. I recently bought a lamb wrap and some samosas-the lamb was alright, the samosas very dry. I tried bombay wraps again today and ordered the chicken tikka and paneer cheese wraps, and a mango lassi. The wraps were both overwhelmingly salty- inedible. I ordered medium spicy as I was recovering from stomach upset already, and there was a nice spice but no flavor to my food. The lassi was good, but I chugged it with all that salt in my body. I'll stick to my known Indian fast food spots on the west side.

  • Mike B.

First time ... Last time here. I don't know where the good reviews come from but don't say I didn't warn you. The punks who work behind the counter are more interested in having a good time with each other and their female friends than actually serving their customers. The food portion is so small, I would call it snack size. The food was reasonably tasty, although my chicken was as dry as cardboard. If you're hungry and you want to be served well, you'd better go somewhere else.

Been here three times, each pretty solid and quick. Chicken tikka wrap had too much sauce for my liking, messy and lots of flavors competing, but somehow still a good choice. While the wheat roti might be the healthier option, it was a bit lackluster and I'd recommend the paratha instead. The lamb curry was slightly bland in taste, and with a watery sauce the most messy of their entrees. Chicken reshmi is a tame option, with the yogurt sauce, with a subdued flavor that still completes the wrap well. For sides the sweet potato fries are good, they are salted well and don't even need the spicy ketchup they come with. Skip the samosas, little seasoning produces a bland taste. The Mango lasse was rich and creamy, perhaps the second best I've had in Chicago after India House. This Streeterville location is the newest, and so service is very quick and the place is extremely clean inside. Prices are reasonable, so great to satisfy a craving. But perhaps not good enough to seek out on its own.

I have tried bombay wraps many times at their original location. This is the first time I have tried the Ohio location. I am Pleased to say that the restaurant food was as delicious as the other location. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Mike and Rumen are two very energetic front of house individuals that definitely keep the atmosphere very upbeat and family friendly. I could not have asked for a better experience. This location is one I recommend. Also, search for their food truck around the city. Same quality product, just more convenient =)

I had a samosa wrap & a chana wrap. Both were good. I specially liked samosa wrap. Quick service. Small place, limited menu. Good food.

Oooh Indian Chipotle is a thing now too? That's cool. 3.5 stars The wraps are ~$3, which seem like a good price except that the pictures make them look like they'd be quite a bit bigger... But the combos are a good deal esp since you'll definitely need 2 or 1+ a side to be full. The snack size allows for more variety and flexibility - like what if you did just want a snack? Taste wise, I thought the paratha could've been fluffier, the filling was decent but not amazing, and overall just alright. Compared to chipotle/naf naf where every bite is so flavorful... this isn't quite that. I think this location is new, so everything is super clean and bright and the ambiance is great for a quick bite. We picked it because it wasn't crowded and the owners were gracious enough to let us bring our bikes in to keep inside against the wall, and I'll definitely be keeping this in mind for future rides along lakeshore drive. Exit path just north of Navy Pier at Ohio Street and it's like 3 blocks away!

My go to place for cheap tasty and fast food when I don't feel like eating McDs Beef kabob wrap is slightly spicy and very tasty Mango lassi is another favorite

I've been here 3 times now and I have been met with a smile every time. If you're craving some kind of Indian food and are on the go this is the place for you. Although Indian Garden is down the street you can't beat wrap in hand and walking down the street. Also as a bonus they let you sample their chai tea which had just enough spice! They also give you a discount if you work at the hospital Wrap+ side and fountain drink for less than $8.50= happy customer

  • Renee H.

So excited to find Indian food that is both delicious and really convenient. They would have gotten 5 stars but it's 7:45pm and they were out out of chicken tikka. So, I got a different chicken with the tikka sauce and it was still amazing. The sweet potato fries are also very good. I really love Indian food and we have to drive over 30min for it at home. It's always nice to be able to get it when I travel. This place couldn't be more convenient when staying at the double tree. I hope this place is a new franchise- I'd love to find it in other cities too!

The food was excellent. Simply delicious, very tasty with authentic flavor combinations. I was fortunate to meet the owner who was very nice and hospitable. Was immaculate with a great sunshine vibe. Should be one of these in every mall in America.

The hubby has been buying me lunch from Bombay Wraps this week and they have been delicious! Samosa wraps are simply delicious- love the flaky paratha! Never had anything like this before. Very fresh and addictive. I also got to try their samosas which are perfectly sized and tasty. Overall, a great place for a very tasty and freshly prepared lunch.

  • Caryn R.

I'm a sucker for Indian food so I figured I'd come in and try. I got the Tikka Masala wrap and the paneer wrap, and they were just ehhh. The wrap itself is super tasty but maybe it was the sauces that I got that were overly salty. I don't think I would go back.

    (3)
  • Swati S.

I come here all the time for their wraps. They're very reasonably priced and they are absolutely delicious. I love that I can also request to have the roti to have as the wrap instead of the paratha so that it can be slightly healthier. The only bummer is that currently they only have the green chutney and don't have the sweet chutney just yet. However, it should be coming soon so that is definitely something I am looking forward to.

My boyfriend and I love eating here! It's great food and the staff are always so nice. I lost my wallet here a few weeks ago, came back tonight and the man behind the counter recognized me and returned my wallet- with credit cards and cash inside. The paneer and chicken tikka wraps are my absolute favorite for cheap Indian food! they are always having deals for the food too.

  • Leah C.

indian takeaway to offset those salad/sandwich days... so glad i finally stopped in as i pass this on my way to my PT appointments. extremely clean interior and reasonably priced - even if you do grab (2) wraps as some have noted. i had (1) paneer wrap accompanied by a mango lassi so that filled me up. the paneer is spicy - the manager's description of 7/10 on the spice charts was perfect -- manageable but the lassi took off some of the heat. the paratha was just the right amount of flaky ;) i wish there were more vegetable-vegetarian options such as a veggie curry or veggie jalfrezi wrap of sorts but i'll be back to try the chana next.

  • Jay K.

What can I say? This place is the Bomb- Bay! I was able to grab a full meal from appetizer to dessert for under $20 and the food was solid. I had the lamb rice bowl with the lentil soup and samosas (though they were some of the smallest samosas I've ever had). Their snacks were very reasonably priced and made for great late night snack. Couple dudes working it late night and it's nice to be called 'brotha man'. Guess it just brought me back memories from the 90's!

  • christine p.

Just finished eating my second meal here and it definitely went more smoothly than the first visit. Overall the flavors are delishhhh I just wish that the food was WARMER. especially the samosas both times they were cold. Still keeping my hope that they will introduce tamarind sauce for the samosas, there's only so much cilantro chutney I can have in one meal :) If they fix those two things it would easily be 5 stars! Regardless I'll definitely be back! oh and as a tip DEFINTELY GET TWO WRAPS as they are very small (which I like,bc you can try more flavors plus they are cheap)

Good stuff. Happened upon Bombay Wraps while at a conference in Chicago. Had the samosa wrap and paneer wrap. Yum.

    (5)
  • Ty D.

Excellent every time I've been. Any of the wraps are excellent. Samosas are also a great treat :) Couple of things they could do to improve the experience would be to include more samosas for the side and make the wraps just a bit bigger. Otherwise its a great Indian fast food experience.

Stopped in for lunch today after seeing that they had just opened earlier this week. The place looks very nice as you walk in and has a lot of seating space inside. I got the chicken tikka wrap in the paratha bread and also got samosas on the side, in total was under $8 - not bad at all! the food was very good and I am sure they will be very successful - I will be back for sure. Welcome to the neighborhood!

  • Shradha A.

Always been a fan of their wraps and glad they opened their second location close to home! This venue is more spacious, has a store selling Indian snacks and beverages, and provides more seating space too. Their wraps are fresh, tasty and filing. I like the chana and the paneer.

Stop by for lunch before my trip back to boston. The staff was welcoming and the place was very clean. I ordered the lamb wrap and a few greens on it. The lamb meat was really flavorful . The spices were not too overwhelming. To bad, I discovered this place on my last hours there because I would love to come back

Tastes like chipotle. But the size is so small. Ordered beef kebab on rice. Hard to say it is good.

I used to salivate over their food truck and was pleased that they opened a brick and mortar restaurant. The lentil soup is almost addicting. I couldn't stop eating it! All the vegetarian wraps I've had there have been flavorful and filling. The price is reasonable. It is an excellent lunch option in Streeterville among all the standard American fare.

My naan wrap tasted like three day old leftovers, very dried out around the edges and super tough. Could have been good, but the wrap just killed it.

We were staying at the Doubletree down the street and didn't want to pay $20 for a room service cheeseburger, so we stopped in here for lunch. I had the lamb curry wrap with a Bombay salad, while my husband had the beef wrap with samosas. Everything was very fresh, the spicy cilantro was great but the lime vinaigrette was a little bland. This was the first time my husband had Indian food (he's not very adventurous) but he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Looking for something quick, delicious and reasonably priced when I stumbled across Bombay Wraps. This place was perfect. I had a Lamb Curry wrap, which came in the most fantastic flat bread I have ever tasted. Washed down with a delicious sweet mango lasso. If I lived closer I would eat here every day!

The food was okay but my biggest issue was the proportions. They're just too small! I can get more for the same price at Whole Foods and other places in the area.

Good flavor to the wraps made and decent pricing makes me want to go back. Good concept of Indian snack food.

Very excited to have this place nearby! Have been there twice now for lunch, once for the chicken reshmi unwrapped and another for the lamb curry unwrapped. Both were delicious -- great seasonings and flavor. The unwrapped versions are a unique option for salad in a neighborhood where getting a good, quick salad can be tricky. I've yet to try the wrap versions, but they look very tasty too! Also intrigued by the snacks and drinks in the store part of the restaurant. Only very tiny gripe is that the takeout bags aren't quite big enough to put a salad bowl in laying flat, so my salad always ends up flipped on its side by the time I get back to my office. Maybe get some bigger bags for the takeout unwrapped meals? :) That aside, definitely a fan! I'll be back!

  • John D.

Interesting ! Never had Indian food in a wrap but it was good. I had a beef wrap, I can't remember exactly what it was called, and a side of Samosas. Both were good, but the wraps are small, definitely need 2 or 3 for a meal.

It's a pretty decent short but sweet menu. This place has pretty Irvine wrapped in rice foods as we've come to know in the past decade. The foods pretty tasty pretty good for lunch out having quick Indian food. It's even got a little mini mart inside for browsing. Good on the go Indian food

Tired of my usual lunch spots, I wandered in to Bombay Wraps today because I had never seen it before. I ordered the Chickpea Channa wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. I walked back to my office and devoured them immediately. IT WAS DELICIOUS! The bread and spices on the wrap were perfect and I almost wanted to lick the green sauce from the foil wrapper because it was so tasty. The sweet potato fries were spiced which was a pleasant surprise and the sweet red sauce that they gave me to go with it was a great complement to the spices. I will definitely have to add this to my lunch rotation. Please support this new business.

Had their chicken & lamb wrap today. Phenomenal! That coming from an Indian means something! The bread wasn't oily, the spice quotient was right & the green chutney was just like I had it back home in India! It has the mother's recipe in it... I'm telling you! Highly recommend this place.

Clean and spacious. Courteous staff. Food came out quickly. Had the chicken tikka and the chickpea chana wraps which were both delicious and fresh tasting. Samosas were small but since you get three, were filling. Overall, I feel the prices are appropriate and will return. Great addition to the neighborhood.

I wasn't impressed. I had the chicken tikka wrap, and the chicken was dry. There wasn't enough of the tikka sauce on it. The professional pictures they upload of the wraps made me think there would be fresh cilantro on the wrap, but there wasn't. I'll try a different wrap next time and request more sauce.

Awesome Indian on the way to Navy Pier! Lightly fried dough with Spicy Paneer cheese and a side of sweet potato fries, just the right size and price. Thank you! :0)

I stopped by here to grab a quick dinner. I got the chickpea wrap, the samosa wrap and a side salad. The salad bowl was half filled with lettuce. I asked if they would be willing to put some more lettuce in, but the response was, "That's not how it was made." Lettuce. Extra lettuce. Seriously? I really like it when places make me feel welcome and like simple requests are no big deal. On the flip side the flavors are nice. The portions are on the small side. But I would go back. I'm glad they're in the neighborhood. Hopefully next time their salad bowls will be full or they'll take the time to throw an extra handful in.

Kind of silly that in order to get the benefits of the meal deal and the frequent punch card you have to specifically buy "wraps" even though the salad "Unwrap" is more expensive. You would think it shouldn't matter. Food was freshly prepared and flavorful. But after buying 4 unwraps and no benefits you left a bad taste in our mouth.

Been coming since day two of opening. Flavor is great and the restaurant is new and clean. Lentil soup is fantastic but they only fill up half the cup. The wraps are small. Perfect as a snack but if eating as a meal you will need more. The quality of the food seems best around lunch time probably because it is busiest and food is more frequently being made and refreshed. Would not recommend going after 8pm as they are frequently out of stock on a lot of things and the menu is already a short list of 8 wrap options as it is. The chicken is too salty. The beef kabob is ok if lunch time, too dry later in the day. Stick with the samosa, potato tava, and paneer wraps. The sweet potato fries are also good. It would be better if they added a tamarind chutney.

I come here twice a week at least. For fast food, the flavors are as authentically indian as you'll find in Chicago. I love adding an egg to the vegetarian wraps, and definitely recommend try the tikka sauce on some of the other wraps. Overall, the range of flavors on the entrees is solid, the fries are delicious, and the desserts are spot-on. The owner is also very friendly and remembers customers well.

Yummy and small but very cheap. Had the chicken Tikka wrap with sweet potato fries and it was very good, although I felt I need another one :)

Just had 3 wraps, lamb, chicken tikka and beef shared between my husband and I. They're absolutely delicious!!! The samosas very authentic. The place is very clean. Down side, wraps portion were slightly small. Other than that we are very happy to find Bombay Wrap! Will definitely come back on a regular basis.

The chicken tikka wrap was decent though i expected the chicken to have been charcoal grilled with indian seasoning which wasnt the case. The wrap was pretty small for the price. I would price it around $3.xx. Also besides some onion there wasn't any other topping which was a bummer. In all it was an okay experience.

This place is way over priced and the food is not all that. First and last time here. The portions are way to small for the prices they charge. The menu is confusing you think you have a combo for $3.50 and when you get to register your total is &10.00 because they consider a side and a drink the combo without the sandwich.

This place won't survive. I visited today at noon time and there was one other person in there. Customer traffic was nil. The wraps are very tasty but just too small. Two wraps, a salad, and a fountain drink cost $14.58. That's obscene.

The taste is authentically Indian..the bread used is very Indian and the flavor on veggies/ curries you put in wraps is amazing...nothing about this place is bad...my first time here was when I accidentally saw this while walking to office...I had one wrap (a late breakfast ) there and liked it so much I went back for lunch ....amazing food....the samosas taste like real Indian samosa...that to me is indication of authenticity

Yum and yum. I've been to the one on Wells, so I was happy to see one closer to my office. I found it very tasty and satisfying. I got it to-go. For the price, convenience and flavor, I give this a 5! I had the Chicken Reshmi wrap.

I used to always pass by this place and ignore it, because it didn't seem anything special.. But one day, it was too cold to walk far to get any good food so I decided to finally give this place a try. and wow it was really good! I got the Lamb wrap and it was delicious. however, the portion is very small for the price, so if you're an above average eater, you definitely need too. The mango lassi wasnt so bad either.

Ali helped decide what to order.. 1st choice VegiI or Meat.. Then., chicken, lamb or beef.. Then wrapped or unwrapped.. Then soup or salad.. Later I tried the coconut Lads I smoothlie.. Ever thing was so tasty.. Boliwood movie playing, beautiful satelite picture of Mumbai art . Quantity was just right for lunch.. Under $10 for such excellent quality.. Best looking for parking in Little India on .. I place.. Spicy food on a cold winter day is so appropriate. Hope to see more in Chicago

delicious!! I spotted this place walking to the post office and decided to stop in for some of their vegetarian options. I got the cheese paneer with a side order of samosa. The paneer is VERY tasty, but beware: I asked for the mild flavor (I love spicy food, just nothing that hurts) and the spices definitely catch up to you...but in the very best way possible. I am definitely coming back again.

Wraps were good. A little tinier than expected. Worst thing on the menu is the mango lassi. They're salty instead of sweet, and I regret ordering two because now I'll just be tossing both away. Edit: After writing this review I got the money back for the lassi's which were made incorrectly and the managing partner offered to deliver 2 new lassi's to me. Their willingness to correct their mistake is more than appreciated, and definitely makes up for the error. I would recommend eating in rather than getting delivery in case something like this happens again!

I was visiting my sister in Chicago and we stopped in at Bombay Wraps for a quick dinner. Being a resident of NYC and a frequent visitor of kati rolls, I was curious how this place would compare. I got the cheese paneer wrap and the chickpea channa. The wrap fell apart the minute I tried to eat it! Either the wraps themselves were not big enough to roll or the folks preparing the food need more training. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience of eating here.

Not bad if you need something quick, but not exactly the most flavorful Indian street style food. The wraps are made from really thick bread which makes this meal a little more filling but everything was a bit too greasy. The concept is good but it needs some refining. They should also add some more flavors or veggie combinations. It feels like the menu is limited to just a couple options. One convenient thing is the mini grocery store they have, which is great if you need some random Indian grocery products and don't want to go far. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly.

Was pretty excited to try this place. I have been to the infamous "Kati Roll" in NYC, and loved it, so I had high expectations for this place. Came here for lunch on a quiet Monday afternoon. The rolls seemed kind of small so I got 2, the chicken tikka and the panner. I would not consider this chicken tikka at all. There was very little flavor to the chicken. It tasted like the oven baked chicken breast from subway with added psuedo tikka masala. The "Paneer" doesn't have the cheese like flavor real paneer does, its more of a tofu blocks with the same "psuedo masala'. I added onions and spicy sauce which wasn't spicy at all. Although its called "Bombay Wraps' it doesnt really have the exotic spice/flavor profile indian food has, its very Bland/Americanized. Its about as indian, as Taco bell is Mexican. The food isn't bad, just expected more from this good concept.

Over-rated. Super salty chicken over rice, beef wrap, and sweet potato fries. Loved the concept but food didn't meet expectations. Chicken was juicy. Won't come again unless the salt issue is solved.

Oh my yum...Indian fast food?! LOVE IT! I got the Beef Kebab, sweet potato fries, dessert AND a drink for $10. Everything is spiced perfectly-I can't believe this is fast food! I need this place close to home!
