I paid $18.50 for a sandwich consisting of basic grocery store wheat bread and a single slice of protein. Upon getting home they forgot my pickle. Absolutely furious. Would never go here. Could produce higher quality at home for under $3.00.

Great, simple, and fresh sandwiches. The shop smells of fresh home made bread. Ambiance is super cute. And the chips. Try the chips!!

Delicious wholesome old fashion sandwich! I had the "Cured sandwich" which is salami, ham, provolone, and Italian giardiniera pressed between two thick slices of homemade bread.

Beautiful neighborhood shop with excellent handcrafted sandwiches and salads. Ingredients are top notch and many made in house. THE ideal sandwich spot!

Great little sandwich shop we found while walking, so glad we stopped in! Had the turkey sandwich and it was so fresh with fresh bread!! Definitely stopping back before we leave Chicago!

Just stopped in and had the goat/poblano sour cream/wheat bread and homemade chips. I asked for a bottle of water and dude told me "grab a cup, there is water in the 'fridge below". Solid response. They had lemon and taragon infused water. Damage was $11, sandwich was delicious. I'll be back!

Went here with a friend who lives in the area - excellent choice! I tried the goat and my friend had the turkey. Both were delicious, and the chips were amazing. I dug the vibe of the place too - very cozy, neighborhood feel. When I'm back in the area I'll def try to hit it up again!

Love this sandwich shop. I discovered them at The Renegade Pop-Up and finally made my way to their store front - all 3 kids in tow. Get the picnic combo, comes with everything you need. We ordered the BLT (special of the day) and Cured. Didn't leave any crumbs - that good. I especially love the home-baked bread, it was still warm. Chips are delicious - grab a bag for home. Self serve beverage station. Today's water was Lemon-Thyme. Don't let the other reviews discourage you. The guy who said he paid $18 for his sandwich - WTF did he order? They are about $7/sandwich. The review about the "pretty weird experience" - let's review the food here, not the people. You get my point, right? Andorka's serves good simple sandwiches on homemade bread and makes their own potato chips - if that's enough to lure you in, then go ahead and move on....

I had the Turley sandwich with an extra side of the tomato mayonnaise - it was super fresh and tasty. I also ordered their chips and got the green goddess dip (amazing). I will definitely be going back soon :)

Parked across from my usual car wash making a phone call and noticed this sandwich across the street. Made it over and ordered a roast beef with a side salad. The softness of the bread and you can taste the freshness also, the simple side salad was wonderful. You can see they put their heart in it, great place !

Cute little sandwich shop. Very tasty homemade sandwiches and bread. I have tried all sandwiches, they are all good. I love their yogurt and their side salad with dressing is to die for!!! The owners are very sweet and personable. They even let me put my flyers in their place for my business!!! Only downfall is they are not open late, but it is well worth getting there before they close. The décor is really cute too.

I'm really torn over this place. More of a 3.5 star review. On one hand, I had been anxiously tracking its arrival on social media. I'd been waiting for it to open for months because I live so close by and we need a few good grab-and-go food options. I really appreciate that these folks make their stuff in-house and are obviously concerned about ingredient quality. On the other hand, it's just a sandwich. If I went to whole foods, I could buy these same, kinda frou-frou ingredients, and have me a similar sandwich. It's not a particularly large sandwich either. PLus they close at 5. I would definitely patronize this place more if they were open for dinner. The chips are especially good, but not enough that I'd go out of my way to come here. Overall, I just don't know if this place is *special* enough to survive. I hope it is, but I don't think it will be.

I went here on a whim, I was walking to David's grill up the block decided to check out this place instead. Ordered a goat sandwich and a coffee. It was a pretty weird experience, the cashier guy was clearly out of it. Sort of cliche coffee sanford and son type music playing. The guy who was making the sandwiches was nice, the other one was operating on a delay. They serve dark matter coffee which is great. I pumped it out of an urn myself. Ok. Once I got home and checked out the sandwich I was really bummed. It was straight up on sandwhich bread, not the thick nice one pictured in another review. The meat had a good flavor but there was an overpoweringly salty spread on the bread. I ate half and threw the rest away. Check out David's Grill instead. Half the price, bigger portions, neighborhood folk.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Sandwiches on home made bread, fresh made potato chips, dips. Veggie options, and everything from ham and cheese to braised goat.

Excellent for a quick lunch. I've had the ham sandwich, the turkey sandwich, and the duck sandwich. The smoked duck sandwich is amazing. Their chips are also fresh and delicious. My coworkers and I love this place.

Ordered the roast beef, the italian, chips and a pickle. Read the DNAInfo article on this place and it definitely falls short of what he is striving for in a sandwich place. He bakes his own bread, but it's your basic loaf sandwich bread nothing special. They offer sandwiches your mom would make for you when you were a child. The pickle was disgusting. Their chips were good though except not fried to order as per the article. Save your money and go to Potbelly's for a better than avg sandwich.

If you live or work in Pilsen, this is a must go spot. Stumbled on them as I'm in the area often. Great minimalist menu. Everything looks to be locally sourced and they bake the bread daily yum:)
