Exactly what you need to satisfy your craving for Chinese. There are several Chinese restaurants in the Channahon/Minooka area, but this one is my favorite. They all have their own subtle twists on all the classics, and Chang's Garden is the one that resonates the best with me. The prices are very reasonable, ordering it quick and easy. They offer online ordering which is great and not that common amongst their competitors. If you are just looking for some quick, easy, know-what-to-expect chinese food, this is the place.

Looking for a Chinese takeout fix in the Minooka-Channahon area? Chang's Garden is for you. I've been taking Chinese out since Chang's Garden opened in early 2000s. Been coming a lot less since I lost 60 lbs, but everything in moderation. This is a really well-run Chinese takeout restaurant. The lunch specials are good and priced right. I really like the seafood dishes. Anything shrimp or chicken. Shrimp in spicy sauce with peanuts and peppers is a good eat. (#67 on the menu). ** Hopefully you don't want Chinese food on a Tuesday. Chang's is closed on Tuesdays.

This is my favorite place to get Chinese in the chanooka-joliet area. The lasy who owns it is very friendly and will even give us free pop or an egg roll once in a while. They have the most delicious general tsao's chicken. The fried rice is also very good. Huge portions for a reasonable price. It is my go to takeout place and I like supporting local family businesses that have a passion for what they do!

This place is nothing special inside and the food is very basic chinese food that isn't anything special either. I don't recommend this place and they had the worst egg rolls I ever tasted. I guess if you don't want to try to find something better then this place will do, but if you can find a better chinese place, then by all means do so and avoid the egg rolls.

Yeah they're nice there but my chicken fried rice had no taste (besides the grease) to it at all! There's other places nearby in town that are better. I know, not much of a review, but there isn't much to say.

Their food is delicious. Their prices are reasonable, portion sizes are huge and they offer exceptional customer service. The people behind the counter have actually helped me carry my order to the car in bad weather (without my asking), and they've thrown in 2 liters of pop for free. Best place for Chinese food out this way, you will not be sorry : )

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
