Coleman's is a great local hangout. Everything on the menu rocks. I always meet new people here which makes coming here worth it. It's off the beaten path but if you have the opportunity to check it out you won't be disappointed. Tuesday nights around 11pm and after you've have several drinks make for a very interesting night.

I have heard from so many people that the food is great and the prices are great here... We stopped in last night and this is (as the author above mentions) a dive but that is okay because often these are the best bars around. We ordered the broasted chicken and it was good - plenty of it and the baskets they served it on were huge so there was plenty of room to move around the roll, cob and fries with some sauce. The fries were okay - nothing to write home about. I'll be nice about the service because our waitress was cute and since I am single and may be back..... LOL I would go back to try their burger and pizza - heard they were good as well but they have some stiff competition in the area - at least for burgers.

Value is good for the money and they always have specials going on. The food has a homemade flavor to it and the owner is a nice guy. The other servers seem to have been there forever and the newer ones seem to lack character. But most have your order there and are attentive to the customer. The one things is, any time you go in the same dozen people are getting drunk at the bar and the same conversations keep going on with a bunch of 50 something people who still think its hilarious to get drunk and do stupid things at their age. One regular came in drunk with a set of bagpipes and sporting an Abe Lincoln beard and started howling away on those things one night, we just paid up and left. It is hard to bring kids in because of the bar conversations and noise levels, one would think the establishment would reign in some of these fools but they refuse to slap the hands of any regulars. The clientele all seem to work or have grown up with each other, so the dirty laundry is aired every time I go in, and I refuse to take my kids in for dinner because of this. It can tend to be loud and stupid in there during Happy Hour. Now the good. They have an excellent outside area on the deck which makes having a few beers and some good food even more enjoyable. The prices are decent and they have a nice selection of food. Burgers, fish, clams, chicken, you name it they have it and it is always good. I have never had a bad meal there. They run weekly specials like clockwork making it easy to schedule a time to grab a burger or fish, or pizza. Other than that it is a neighborhood bar in all respects. Clean and a decent value but not an every week stop.

What a great neighborhood bar! Heard this was a place to watch the Bears game in Cary and was not disappointed. Good service, friendly people, plenty of craft beers, nice food menu, great appetizers, and just our luck, half price burgers on Thursday (oh yeah!!!), which by the way were really good! If your are in town visiting consider trying this place out! We will be back!

Went here for dinner on a Sunday. The staff was great and the food was surprisingly good. They have weekly specials, so I ordered the broasted chicken $9 (sides: corn in the cob, sauteed veggies and fries) and spicy garlic and parmesan wings $8. There was enough food to feed my family of 3 and have leftovers. I'm happy I stopped in.

Step aside Tracks there is a new king of the fish fry in Cary. I have been looking everywhere for a broiled fish fry and I finally found one! I love coming here for food and drinks. The owners are very nice and greet everyone while they dine. The prices are a great value for what you get. I haven't met anything on the menu I haven't liked.

Great experience! Had a cobb salad, bruscheta burger and a patty melt. Cobb salad was awesome. Marinated and grilled chicken, brimming with juicy flavor and very tender. Real bacon and lots of blue cheese! Bruscheta burger had authentic flavor on a wonderful bun. Patty melt was a homer! $2 domestic bottles on Sunday nights. Winner winner AWESOME dinner.

Needed a place to watch the game and enjoy a relaxing night. Goldmine! Great menu, you will find something. While the bar was frequented with regulars, new visitors like me were greeted warmly. The bartender (Amber) did a great job and was attentive to everyone. My Guiness was never empty.

I wasn't sure if this was the kind of place that I should take 5 kids (5-16) for dinner, but the reviews were good and it was Wednesday night so I figured it wouldn't be too crazy. How have we lived in CL for 17 years and never eaten here? Although it's small and a bit noisy, Coleman's is a gem! My kids were not out of place and even though the bar is part of the dining room, I didn't at all feel like I had my kids "in a bar." The food was way beyond my expectations. I ordered garlic parmesan "big ass wings" and they were indeed, big ass...and delicious. There were six and I barely made it through 3. One of my kids ordered the oven grinder and it to describe it as "bar food" would be a disservice. It was fantastic as well. Although it was busy and there was only one waitress, she was a sweetheart...super nice, accommodating to my little ones, and never seemed flustered or "in the weeds" despite the dinner rush. There was another person helping deliver food and bus tables and he was quick to grab us extra napkins, etc. They have nightly meal specials so we'll definitely be back for 1/2 price pizza on Tuesdays and 1/2 price burgers on Thursdays. GREAT little spot! I'm so glad we checked it out, we'll definitely be "regulars" now!

Came in for dinner with my son after seeing this place getting 4 1/2 stars in Cary. The bruschetta appetizer was excellent. My half pound burger was hand packed and very good. My son had the Ruben that was also very good. I'll be back.

One of my favorite places to eat, drink, and hang out! Every food item that I've had is delicious and way better than typical bar food. Join the sand volleyball league and you won't be disappointed. Two free pitchers per team every week and we play on Tuesdays so pizza is half off too- can't beat that! The courts are very well maintained and the sand is awesome. You can tell it's a family establishment that takes pride in food quality, service, and having a good time.
