Above and beyond customer service. When asked for a side caesar salad and was informed that they didn't have the lettuce to make it, they heard the disappointment through the phone order. When we went to go pick up the rest of the order we found out that they made a special run to pick up the lettuce at a grocery store to make our salad and then proceeded to comp the salad off our check. Made our nights.
grew up with the tortorices in MP. This place is just as good, and i have it everytime Im back in town at least 2x
Pizza was decent. Needs more sauce.

Fast and friendly....the blizzards are as awesome as they usually are at DQ. :) I liked the old black and white pictures on the wall. :) Clean and Mall parking is ample.
I was amazed by how elegant the cake I ordered was! My girlfriend loved it! Taste and presentation were unbeatable!
I don't go to Dairy Queen much, the rare exception being when we're celebrating someone's birthday at work and I decide to pick up the cake, or in this case, the ice cream cake. The woman that decorated the cake was very helpful and quick. Dairy Queen happens to do ice cream cakes very well and this location looks well kept. Always a hit at the office!

I love this place for a number of reasons.... - great for a last minute dinner - salads are delicious - everything is always fresh - great for catering - you can purchase marinated meats and grill it yourself - service is always quick and efficient - you can preorder and simply pick it up without standing in rush hour Need I say more?
Idk, the food here was very second or third rate compared to mom's and grandma's cooking. Prices weren't great. Maybe i would give it one more try but idk There is a small seating area too for people wishing to eat there
Authentic and delicious European deli!! Smoked meats, fish, sweets and great variety of salads, main dishes and sides!! Great prices and customer service!!

Food is excellent. Mark prepares a team meal for the Buffalo Grove football team every Friday too. Love the pink sauce.
We love this place. We eat in. We bring home from Buffalo Grove to Highland Park (still hot and delicious!). The variety of pastas and what you can add make this a really customized meal, and always delicious. The sandwiches are also good - as is the garlic bread. It looks like a fast food place, but you eat it like a fine Italian restaurant.
I think I have found my other go to place for a quick dinner. I tried their pesto and I also tried their pink pasta sauce. Both were super delicious. I also had the I spaghetti and meat balls. Everything they make is fresh and ingredients are bought that day. That's what my co-worker told me. It's a family owned restaurant. The owner is a very nice personable man. I will be coming here more often than more.

Good old-fashioned soft serve ice cream ! nice clean environment, pleasant staff , decent prices, much cheaper than Oberweiss
Last Monday was free ice cream cone day at DQ. It also just happened to be the warmest day of the year at a beautiful 72 degrees out. I decided to venture out on a beautiful "Summer" night to get my free ice cream. HOLY LINE!!! It was insane, but to be expected with free ice cream and beautiful weather. I have to say I was extremely impressed with how quickly the line was moving. One of the employees forewarned the line that they may run out of cones and offered a cup should this occur. I would take free ice cream either way, but have to admit I was happy I was able to get my cake cone. The coupon said vanilla ice cream however they were kind enough to allow me to get my favorite flavor chocolate. Obviously, I'll return to DQ because I live behind there and on warm summer nights walking the dog we need our ice cream fix. I prefer soft serve over regular ice cream. Kudos on moving the line quickly on free ice cream day DQ!
I would love to get ice cream from here everyday but I don't think my pants size would appreciate this habit. This Dairy Queen is fairly small and there aren't many tables inside so I usually don't stick around after I get my ice cream. I've never had a problem with the service here and they are friendly. This location doesn't have the full food menu so I've never ordered anything but ice cream. My favorites are butterscotch-dipped cone and blizzards. Try the new Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard!

I go here every morning. The staff is very friendly and rounds up my order. The danishes and coffee cakes are outstanding. I also like the bagels. I highly recommend it
Shalom Bakery is my favorite place to get challah. I've also tried the chocolate chip coffee cake and an assortment of bagels; all of which were nothing short of completely delicious. This bakery is not local to me but I will make the trip to Buffalo Grove just to stock up for the week, although sometimes the treats I bring home don't last more than a few days. It's probably a blessing this bakery isn't closer to me as I would probably have a weight problem. The staff is friendly and always helpful. It's always a treat to visit this place.
Always fresh, always delicious, and always a pleasure coming in! Thank you!!

We've ordered from here a couple times, and we've also stopped in once or twice. They ARE freaky-fast! In addition, I LOVE the bread here. The sandwiches are great! They are a smidge overpriced. But i like them a lot better than Subway, so I'd rather pay. I love the online ordering process. And then magically the food appears twenty seconds later. Ok maybe not THAT fast. but close. Oh! And the best part - they deliver at LUNCH time, too.
Best jimmy johns in BG HANDS DOWN !!!! I Work in AH and they'll deliver to me b/c the one off of Dundee is horrible!!! They're polite, food made right always, and on time! Wish they could put some of their staff at the Dundee location!!!!
Love the Jimmy! One the nicest things about JJ's is that they are consistent. You can get a sandwich in Missouri or Illinois and it's the same old good sub!. I wish there was one closer to the office but it's worth the drive.

Masa’s Sushi

286 McHenry Rd
Buffalo Grove, 60089
Reviews:
It is disappointing that it isn't a sit down place, but the owners were quite friendly. The sushi was average only because the seafood didn't taste as fresh. Overall, if you want to get sushi on the go, then this is your perfect place. Also, the price is very much within reason. However, this is definitely not a family setting place.
Great to go, very good prices! Basic rolls under 4 bucks, you can't beat that. Friendly owners. Very limited seating and very little decor, but who really cares when it's a primarily take out joint..
I recently went on a sushi binge and went to several different sushi restaurants in the past week. Having gone to Masa's for year, I wanted to make sure I wasn't becoming complacent. Masa still takes home the win. Hands down the best Sushi takeout around town. The rolls are well rolled and do not fall apart when you pick them up, always one of my biggest frustrations when they fall apart. A lot of their rolls are 8 pieces instead of 5 or 6. There's a huge selection too. The price is also very reasonable. I got two regular rolls and two massive specialty rolls for under $40. I'm pretty sure it's family owned because the same woman always rings you up, so it's great to support a family business as well.

Pavilion Restaurant & Bar

Reviews:
Went to Pavilion on a Tuesday evening. It a small venue with approximate 15 tables draped with cloth linen. There is also a few outside tables and a sleek bar which may seat 5 or 6 people. I was immediately greeted by the hostess who happened to also be the only waitress and she did a great job. There were 2 other gentlemen that were going from table to table welcoming patrons to the restaurant and inquiring how we liked the food. Very friendly and not at all overbearing. I ordered the Beef Stew. It came quickly and was pipping hot. It was served in a crock pot dish similar to a French Onion soup crock and was covered in puffed pastry. The potatoes, carrots and beef were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. For dessert I ordered what was billed on their desert menu as a "Napoleon". It was tasty but nothing like a traditional Napoleon. With my meal I had their $10.00 Cabernet Sauvignon. Which was served quickly and with a smile. With dessert I ordered an Iced Latte which wasn't on the menu (only hot Latte's) but the waitress said she'd gladly put one together for me. All in all it was a lovely intimate place to dine with friendly and attentive staff. I'll be going back soon and would recommend this restaurant to others.
I dinned twice at the Pavilion. I have mixed feeling about the place. The first time I had the dinner, the food was cooked very well. It surprised me that a restaurant in a strip mall like place can offer such quality food. The first time, we had tuna tartar, Ukrainian potato pierogi, chicken tabaka, and Asian skirt steak. The tuna tartar is well balanced and fresh, though it has more tomato than tuna. The chicken tabaka is tasty. It is fried perfectly. The choice of corn chicken for the dish allows the flavors on the skin to penetrate the meat easily. The Asian skirt steak is also very well executed. The sauce definitely has Asian influence. Nothing special about the pierogi. All dishes are nicely presented. Due to the good experience of the first time, I decided to give it another visit. This time I tried trio-lamb chop paired with creamy Spinach. I also tried the caviar blini. The lamb chop is definitely over cooked, which leaves me very disappointed. BTW, the portion of the appetizer is sort of small. Not good for a group of people to share. The inconsistency of the experience is a big turn down for me to go back again.
Recently took advantage of a Groupon offer. Top notch food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant, bar and (HUGE) banquet hall.

Rosati’s Pizza

Reviews:
Love the lunch slices. We always order Rosatis for our kids' birthday parties. They have a pizza so big it barely fit in my front seat!
Very delicious. Tucked away in a strip mall, I'm not even sure they have a dining area. We got take out. Toppings were fresh, crust was delicious.
I have a Love/Hate with this location. First, let me start off by saying that I LOVE Rosati's pizza. Their pizza is usually pretty consistent across locations. I absolutely love the cheese they use, and their thin crust is perfect. Muah, bravo -bravo. My problem with this location is two things: 1) This location in particular doesn't seem to have a deep-fryer. So things like say, FRENCH FRIES that are supposed to be deep-fried, are not! So they get to your house in the form of little rock-like missiles that are completely inedible. Disgusting. Now, I'm guessing that anything else that is supposed to be fried also has that general problem - not tasting the way it was meant to because these items are expected to be fried. 2) The customer service here is usually borderlines horrible. There's usually a couple young guys working in the back, a couple delivery drivers hanging out, and a teenage phone-girl or two. None of them are very welcoming, friendly or well-mannered. One even went so far as to ARGUE with me when I called back because my order was wrong. Since that, I haven't ordered in probably a year. But these are the type of people who would mess with your food if you piss them off, so I'm super-friendly whenever I go in regardless of any thoughts I'm thinking :) BUT, regardless of my qualms above.... here's the thing: they have some GREAT food. Their pizza I've already told you about, but their Italian Beefs are OMG good. In my book, they top any other famous chicago-land "italian beef joints" (i.e. Buona or Portillo's). They've got great beef, get it on garlic bread, and WOWSERS!!! You've got yourself a party in your mouth. So, although this place annoys me, I am giving-up my year long hiatus from this place because I'm downright craving one of their Italian beefs on garlic bread (with mozzarella of course).
