High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

We were in Brookfield and wanted a cool burger place. So it was just a random yelp search. I was pleasantly surprised! There's street parking, which was a bit hard to find but there was a hawks game on. I ordered a burger with American cheese and an egg. It was SOOOO good. Come here hungry though as the portion was quite large. I couldn't finish mine and I was starving. It's cool that even though they are a bar/rest. They don't push you to order drinks. We got water and the waitress was totally cool with it. I will totally come back. Especially this summer. Think of a long day walking at the zoo and then a big honking burger to chow down. Yummers.

This place should be hidden. Open to customers as a christmas gift. This is how awesome they are. Had the sunday menu (no burgers) Chicken sandwich, raspberry cheesecake and a beer. Imagine how boring and tasteless could be a grilled chicken breast! But it turned in most delicious , full of flavors sandwich! Fresh cut fries with their version of ketchup. ..to die for! Homemade mayo, complete opposite of that hillbilly yellow creamy stuff that you can buy at stores... So good that you want to lick it from a bun. Cheescake...had to start to meditate to forced myself to give a half to my own kid. Super clean restrooms. Draft beer really nice waitress! (thank you) Not to go there is like vote republicans and expect equality in USA. thank you and good night m

We went w/my best friend-she loves hamburgers and we are always looking for a good hamburger spot. This place was not very big-but it was nice. It was not crowded when we went and I am not sure if it ever gets really packed w/people since it is so small. The burgers were fat! I ordered the bbq bacon cheddar burger and it came on a pretzel bun-which was pretty good. The burger and fries came out hot and fresh and they were very good. Not much glam to this place-the burgers speak for themselves. My friend liked this place better than back alley burger in LaGrange. We would return to this Burger Antics if we are in the neighborhood.

If you're looking for your typical run of the mill burger joint. Look elsewhere. With it exotic tastes on classic burgers, paired with it's vast selection of craft beer, hit the spot. The alternative/rock/metal ambiance as well as local artwork, makes this place feel alive. The assault on your senses is welcome. This is not for the unadventurous eater, but if you're brave enough.

This place is just OK. I really expected an out of this world burger. This place does have a good following, and Brookfield residents want their town to grow so they stand behind small businesses which explains many of the 5 star reviews. Price really isn't an issue since the burgers are huge. We split a cheeseburger, ordered it med-well and it came out well. Not really a problem, the burger was really juicy. The thing is, it lacked flavor. I don't ever salt my food and this burger could of used it, or could of used something. Maybe it was an off day for the chef. The fries were amazingly delicious, but the portion was very skimpy. The homemade ketchup was alright, Heinz is just as good. There is a long wait for your burger and that should be expected considering how big the burger is. The place is pretty small and noisy, so it's not a place you're going to want to hang and have another beer when you're done. I prefer Grand Tavern over this place any day, but I'll definitely go back again.

If I can sum it up in one word it would be: AMAZING!!! This place was so unique and had high quality meats and toppings. My fiancé is a burger conissuere, and to know he loved it so much just confirms my opinion. I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu! Thanks again Burger Antics We're you're number one fan now!

This place is just unbelievable. First off, this is easily in the top 5 burgers I'd ever had in my life. Cooked to perfection, what seemed like over a half a lb of beef topped with incredibly quality ingredients, and finished with a perfect crust. The home-made ketchup is awesome, despite not being much of a ketchup guy. The fries are also obviously fresh-cut, and equally as delicious. Finally, the beer selection here is fantastic. Just some really good quality drafts. I cannot recommend this place enough. MUST go while in town.

We were passing through Brookfield and stopped at this place for a quick bite and few drinks. The burgers were cooked to mouth watering perfection, served with hand cut fries and a simple pickle with a tiny kick. We also ordered deviled eggs and fried pickles to start with, both were fresh and tasty. The drinks aren't bad either, the prices were a little high but it's definitely worth every penny. Enjoy!

Had the best burger I ever had here. Was a little disappointed at first that there weren't more burger choices, maybe because we went around lunchtime? I ordered the bbq bacon cheddar burger. I hate onions and forgot to tell the waitress no onions, but they ended up being so good that I was even eating the ones that had fallen off onto the plate! All the sauces were home made and tasted a bit different than the typical, store-bought ones most places give you. But that made the burger and fries that much better because the taste was a little more unique. Would recommend for everyone to try this place for sure!

Having just moved to the area from the city, I wanted to love this place. I don't. The decor is very plain, really there isn't any. It feels like a pop-up restaurant. That being said, they just opened and I'm willing to bet that will change. No big deal. The craft beer selection is okay, similar to other bars in the area. After ordering a beer, I was told "We don't have it.". No sorry, no explanation, no idea for a similar beer type. About 4-5 other beers had lines through them. I expect inventory issues when just opening up. I'm sure it's tough to gauge demand. We would have just appreciated a bit more on the explanation. "Sorry, we've been getting slammed and were out. We're working on it. Can I get you something else?". We order fried pickles whenever they are available and this was no exception. Not a big hit for us. The pickle itself was tasty, but the breading was very bland. On the plus side, there was no awkwardness between my girl and I on who got to eat the last (third) one. We were both happy to give it up. Another note, after they came out, someone asked if we wanted plates to eat them with. They brought one plate...for the 2 of us. I guess the assumption was that the other person would use the plate they came on, but I gotta believe appetizers should include plates for the table. Not a huge thing, but it was funny. On to the star attraction, the burger. I had the BBQ Bacon burger, my girl had the buff n' stuff. Despite not having the best experience up to this point, we both LOVED the burgers. Cleared the plate and crumbs...loved. I really only get mid-rare burgers from places that I feel could cook it right, and this place NAILED it. I'm not sure it's the best I've ever had, but the best in recent memory. I'm not a fan of the ketchup, but it is definitely homemade. They were out of the dijon mustard. We were pretty full and skipped dessert. Around 10:30 at night(open til midnight) the place had emptied out. Pretty much all the chairs were being stacked around us. Made us feel pretty rushed to leave, especially since the waitress brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert or another beer. The check did not look right to me. Seemed like too much. They don't itemize their checks, Just kind of give you a hand written total. We called the waitress over and she said it was right. It wasn't. I think the bill came to about 48.XX originally, but the correct total was 44.XX. Again, NO apology, no nothing, except "well, its still 44.XX", like it shouldn't be a big deal. Monetarily, it's not, but it kinda made us feel like she/they were trying to rip us off. Really hoping they move to a better POS system in the future. Too long, didn't read? The burgers were great, just about everything else was meh. If we are craving take-out burgers, I'd pick them up (not sure if that's an option). When we are looking for a homemade burger experience and a beer, we'll stick to Scratch in Forest Park.

I am pumped that they reopened in Brookfield. Been here a few times and I will keep coming back. They are new so there have been a few hickups so far, but that is too be expected. They have handled everything well when we brought it up. Really happy to have a place to get a decent brunch. There were a few good burgers in this town, but I think they are the champs. Suggestions: Wifi - not sure if they have it, but may be nice. They need the foot rest at the bar to make it a proper bar. Would make it easier to move in and out and more comfortable/bar like. And I would love maybe a rotating daily side special. Every time we go back it keeps getting better. Right now I would give it a solid 4.5.

Certain residents love to shit over this place and tell you to go across the street to the other bar (The Grand...Or some bullshit like that). Don't listen to them. Try this place out first. Brookfield (the downtown) is lacking really anything to do other than bars and Pizza/Taco places. We went here last night before 5pm (so as to avoid any crowds). We also brought our 6 month year old (who stayed calm and entertained for our entire experience). My husband ordered the bacon burger and I got a regular cheeseburger (and yes, I requested that 50 cents extra ketchup that has some Brookfielders up in arms). I got the chips and husband got the fries. Our wait wasn't too bad. It was nice to sit at a table as two adults and talk. The space is a little small but thems the breaks. Our food came and it was just fine. I ate all my burger and just couldn't finish my chips. My husband liked his burger and fries as well. Our server was friendly and attentive. The beer selection is great (although I ordered a $3 Schiltz because ..CLASSY). Would we come here EVERY Night? No. But maybe for a special night out or if we had family in town, we'd bring em' here. Its walkable from our house and to the Metra. There is a great ice cream/popcorn shop next store too. All and all good stuff. Better than the auto part stores/brothels that are filling up Brookfield.

Great atmosphere, original art everywhere. Food is good, but there are better burger places. Beer selection is ok.*** they did not have Revolution even though they have a Revolution sign hanging above there bar. Service is terrible. Kept bring food & beer to our table that no one ordered.

My husband and I went for a Friday lunch and loved it. The craft beer selection was diverse . The service was friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the burgers rocked! Seriously, my "Hotter than Hell" burger (actually not that hot if you don't add the habaneros) was out of this world. The meat was obviously high quality and fresh, the bun was grilled just the right amount and the toppings (Gouda, avocado, grilled jalapeños) were the perfect combination. My husband's burger had buffalo sauce and bacon (I think) on his and was super happy with his as well. My only complaint is that I didn't love the home made ketchup, but everything else was so good I didn't care!

This place has ruined me on other burgers. I tried to eat at some of Chicago's other "top burger locations" and found myself wanting something better. I waited patiently for them to re-open at their new location and have not been disappointed. I have already visited the new location several times, and have enjoyed the Four Cheese Burger, the Mac and Cheese, Hot Buffalo Chicken Wings (two joint wings, not those puny things you get most places, so order accordingly), an Antics (as you like it), shrooms, deviled eggs and all off the desserts. I extra recommend the maple bacon doughnut a la mode.

Went yesterday, had the spinach and feta salad, fried pickles, wife and i each had the slider plate. The place is nice, waiter did a good job, didn't notice any heavy metal "blasting" but a little Black Sabbath and a burger wouldn't be bad. Beer menu sucks. Not enough "normal" beers. had a coke instead. Spinach salad was warm and kind of small for 7 bucks. Fried pickles had a very bland breading. I get better fried pickles at Grand Tavern across the street. What killed it for me was how salty our burgers were. I dont think a good burger should have any added salt. When we were leaving, one of the managers or the owner came over to see how our dinner was and i told him about the over salted burgers. He went right to the kitchen and talked to the cooks. Im gonna give them a month or two before i go back. There are a lot of other options up and down Grand Avenue but i do hope they turn it around. I would love to go back.

The burgers were delicious and the best part. The wait was about 25 minutes for a table on a Saturday night which wasn't too bad. We had to wait outside in the cold though because there's no real place to wait without looking awkward or being in everyone's way. Our waitress was nice but took too long to come check on us several times. The stuffed mushrooms were okay but four nickel sized ones were not enough. The pickles are also whole sized pickles that are fried. We had to cut up them up into pieces to share with the table. The drinks were not made very well either. If I could give them 3.5 stars I would. But they need to work out a lot of kinks.

If you are looking for a good burger and delicious fries, this is the place! Its small and kind of hipstery but I like it. They had Pee Wee's Big Adventure playing on the TV and that just completed my dreams. We went with a group of friends, 6 people total plus a baby in a car seat, and finding a table really wasn't too bad. They have a great beer menu with lots of craft style beers, a good cocktail list and wine list also. We had a couple of appetizers for the table, chicken wings (some of the best i've ever had!) and stuffed mushrooms (also good). Their burgers are the start though and I am pretty sure everyone of us finished every last belly busting bit. Personally I love that they make their own ketchup and mustard, etc. You can tell they take their food and flavor seriously and I appreciate it! To finish off we had the Maple Bacon Doughnut which was worth every calorie and more. I would write more about it but I don't think words can do it justice. Great place, great food!

I want to start out by saying the food was good. My hubby and I split a PB and J plus bacon burger, sounds strange... totally delicious. My complaint comes with the pricing. Almost every single burger on the menu was $12. The worst thing was that there was no kids menu. Are you trying to communicate that you don't want kids to dine in your restaurant? I'm sorry, but I'm not pay $12 for each of my kids to eat a burger. Not sure we will be returning.

Went back again and the burgers were better than before . Recommend the slider plate because you get to sample several of their awesome burgers. They will let you add additional burgers to the 3 burger slider plate which I did . could only finish two of four , so I had lunch for the next day. Cole slaw was just as good but slightly too much dressing this time . However the ingredients were just as tasty and fresh. Still way better than the soupy cole slaw most places serve. Great service even though the place was filled.

Came here after seeing some friends constantly drooling over the place and it definitely did not disappoint. I have been to Kumas corner 4 times now and still have not found any kind of burger I liked but Burger Antics puts any place to shame! Staff was super friendly and attentive which was even more awesome! I got the 4 cheese burger my boyfriend got hotter than hell and we both were extremely happy but I think next time we're going to try the sliders so we can taste even more of those heavenly burgers! Loved the fried pickles we had and fries too! Next time we'll be sure to save room for dessert! I could just die after eating here the burger was so good and not at all dry like you would anticipate from a burger with only cheese on it! Can't wait to share this place with everyone and go back!!

  • Bridget G.

The 4 cheese burger was amazingly delicious and I chose the Cole slaw for the side. omg!!!!? It was so good. They have a limited menu but it didn't even matter, the food was that good. And here's something you don't see everyday as an appetizer....deviled eggs! You get 4 and trust me you will want more!! If your in the Brookfield area stop into this local hot spot and enjoy!

The burgers were good. The fries are way to salty and they should consider dicing their pickles, before they fry them.

  • Nicole H.

3 people 3 burgers and not one complaint, cooked to order perfectly. Big juicy and full of flavor, The fries were great, the coleslaw was delicious. Bill was about $45 for the 3 burgers no drink but water. Good music playing and good movie on (maybe by chance but still) I wouldn't go their daily or weekly with my family because that's a bit much for burgers but every once in a while or when I really crave a great burger... That will be the spot, totally worth the money but not as often as I would want a burger.

    (5)
  • Corey G.

Only thing this place is missing is a decent beer. People like to drink Pilsner style lagers. Get Stella or something. Burgers are great, definitely up there with a place like Kumas. I'm looking around right now at what everyone here is drinking. Barely anyone is drinking any of this crappy IPA stuff that VERY FEW people like. Get some decent beer and there won't be any empty tables. Your food is awesome!

Wow. So glad we decided to check this place out. Super tasty, easy to park, reasonably priced and did I mention...tasty? The place is small so try to go on a week night, we went on a Tuesday night and it was a great time. My only reason for 4 stars, and this is me being a bit of a six year old, no regular ketchup for fries. There's was good, but I'm a simple chick, sometimes I like to Heinz it up. I had a chicken buff n stuff with avocado added as I'm not a red meat eater, (other reason for no fifth star) I would've loved to see a turkey burger on the menu, but the chicken breast was delightful. Next time I'll give the black bean and rice patty a whirl. We'll be back fo show.

This place definitely has good burgers and fries. Went here with 3 others and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table to open up. Seemed like they were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people that were in the place, which is pretty small. (Brookfield's not use to a cool burger place like this!) We had to wait about 45 minutes for our burgers to come out, which is too long, but we were with friends drinking beer, and didn't really care. I got the hotter than hell burger and fries which were both awesome. Had it cooked medium and it was right on. Beer selection is pretty good too. Nothing crazy, but gets the job done. I think they had like 8 craft beers on tap. Got the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were very good...but also very small. The 4 dime-sized mushrooms quickly disappeared. Probably should've ordered like 3 orders of those. Wife and friends got the sliders, in which you choose 3 of their burgers. These were suppose to be cooked "medium" but were more like well done. Still tasty though. Overall, a good spot and I'll be coming back. Ideally when it's not as crowded.

I went to this place with a few of my friends, and compared to what I've had in the past, it's pretty average. The Beer Menus are half-way decent, but nothing too out of the ordinary. The Burger was average, and was kind of expensive especially since they are 9 oz. Ambiance was kind of loud. It's an alright place, but I've definitely had better.

    (3)
  • Kathi K.

Very good! I had the slider combo...the Black Bean and Rice patty was delicious! My husband had the Hercules special ordered medium. He did not read the descriptions provided or he would have ordered it well done. I would have considered it medium rare, so do pay attention to the menu. Hand cut fries were very good. Decor is cute but room is loud with bare walls and floors and nothing to muffle the acoustics. All age clientele, which is nice. Anxious to return for more...I think I'll try a full sized BB&R next time!

  • Denise S.

We went here this past Friday afternoon, decent amount of people eating in, service was good. We had the picnic eggs (nothing special to me, just a deviled egg), the elotes (yummy, they use feta which was a nice addition), I had a burger with caramelized apples and smoked gouda (very yummy) with cole slaw (tasty, but a slightly smaller chop on the veggies would have been better... I'm all for rustic, but I still want the stuff to fit in my mouth!), my "other non relative" had the nacho special burger (he said it was good).... so to the price, expensive for a suburban burger joint. Our bill was $44, yeah that's a bit much for food that is good, but nothing spectacular. If I was in the area I would stop for the elotes, but I would most likely pass on everything else.

    (2)
  • Miguel S.

I ordered my burger "very rare" and it was medium rare. All you make is burgers and you can't get that right? Fail. And the fries are too salty. And the waitress never came back to ask if everything was all right. That's three strikes . . .

Best goddamn burger you'll ever eat. Reminds me of Kuma's Corner. Great music and beers on tap are the best. Waitstaff was very friendly. Finally Brookfield is getting their stuff together, also I made the mistake of going to the ice cream place next door for dessert which sucked ass. Gunna try their maple bacon doughnut next time I come.

Thought the burgers were good with a good selection; I got sliders so I could try some different ones, enjoyed them all! My son didn't care for the homemade ketchup, but the fries were outstanding! Mac n' cheese w bacon was good too! I'll be back!

Phenomenal meal at Burger Antics tonight. Fresh, hot, delicious food & super attentive service. Even the ketchup and barbecue sauce were to die for. We'll definitely be back!!

Boozy Brunch!!! The brunch was as good as the dinner. We had the Chocolate Stout pancakes and also the Cheeseburger skillet with eggs. Both were delicious. I love that they have a full bar at 11am ready to go. I had a mimosa and my partner had a coffee stout. We got there right at 11 and were the only ones in the restaurant for awhile. So good. Highly recommend.

This review is for service only. I stopped in on a Friday after work to check it out and order take out. We don't cook on Fridays and usually order in or take out. Imagine my surprise when I was told they do not have to-go after 3 pm. This place is across from the train station. Friends had told me that it is pretty pricey and the service was terrible. I figured that I would give the food a chance and not deal with the service. The last thing I want to do after a long week is deal with a small crowded restaurant and poor service. I walked across the street to Fuego and they were happy to prepare our meal to-go.

Very Disappointed! I had stumbled upon their Countryside location last year and had one of the best burgers in my life!!! Happened to be out Brookfield way with the hubby and saw their new location so of course we stopped in looking to re-experience the burger I had previously. I am sure some of the trouble is because they have just opened, however.....It was a Friday at noon and there were only three tables of people so they were not busy. They had an ample staff of wait and kitchen folk. Ordered the mushroom appetizer which is only four small mushrooms ($6) - popped one in my mouth and I don't think they had even been under the broiler as they were room temp and the cheese was not melted at all. They tasted pretty good but would have been great if they were actually cooked, I was going to ask our waitress to put them back in but she didnt come back and there was only 2 mushrooms left so I just ate them cold. I ordered a burger with gouda and mushrooms with cole slaw side, my man ordered a burger with swiss and mushrooms with fries as a side. When the burgers were brought out (not by our waitress) they had plated them backwards so my hubby got mine and I got his before I could stop him my man dumped ketchup allover my burger which I can't stand so we just switched and I scraped that crap off. Well with all the burger switching we needed a new ketchup and my burger had no mayo which I asked for and my man wanted some mustard... she brought it out and we got down to business. Although the burgers were cooked to a perfect medium rare, the actual burgers were cold and the cheese was not melted on top as well as they left the rind on my gouda. His mushrooms seemed like they had seen the inside of a grill pan, my were raw ??? I ate it anyway since I was hungry and didnt really see any acceptable resolution. The layout of this place is bad - the waitstaff hangs in the hall next to the bar and they can't see the tables unless they walk out - I'm sure that contributes to the where's my server issues. The place is deafening as they cheaped out in construction and did not install any type of acoustical tile which is sorely needed. The font they use on their half ass menu is completely illegible but I could overlook these issues if the food and service was on spot. The final indignity was the bill! $38 and change (not including tip) for (2) cokes, (1) mushroom appetizer (2) burgers with cheese and mushrooms. On closer inspection of the bill they charged me 50 cents for each ketchup, mustard and mayo WTF? The extra condiments were to fix their fuckup and for the price of the burger I think they could float you a mini ramekin of free mustard. Also, is it too much to ask to have salt and pepper dispensers on your table? If I'm in the neighborhood again I might return, the memory of that first burger is still good.

The best burgers in Chicago land. Nothing like local produce. With everything homemade down to the ketchup. Gourmet burgers. Great beers. I tried the Pazzooki(chocolate chip cookie a la mode) to die for.Great date night place

We've been waiting for this place to open, as we are huge burger and fries people and there's just not a great burger place close by in Brookfield. I stopping in for takeout for the first time today, and we are sold! We both built our own burgers, and they were delicious! Juicy, thick, cooked perfectly, and not overpowered with a ton of seasoning, which some places tend to do. Everything was super fresh, and their in-house ketchup is amazing! The only reason I don't give them five stars is that it seemed the fries were cooked too soon for the meal, so they weren't super hot and just a little limp. I'm sure they will work out any of the minor kinks people have mentioned as they get their footing. Definitely give them a try! We're so excited to have a burger joint walking distance from home!

Save your money. Too expensive, hardly any fries which are extra. I got 24 fries in my order. Long wait for the order with only 2 people ahead of us. Took 20 minutes for it. 38 bucks for 3 burgers and fries and like I said, only a few fries in our orders.

Top-notch burgers, fries, sides, desserts *and* craft beer in one place? Yes, please! Burger Antics is the bomb. Amazing food. Burgers are cooked perfectly to order, and between the standard offerings, the burger of the week and the build-your-own option there's something for every burger lover. And the maple bacon donut? Incredible combo of sweet and savory. I'm sooooo happy these guys are back at a much nice location than previous.

Hello Delicious! Who would ever guess the best burger around is in Brookfield? I was very impressed with all the food! It was fresh, made on site, and worth the trip! I had the bbq bacon burger with coleslaw for the side. Very impressed that they offer a gluten free bun! My sister had the black and blue burger on a pretzel bun with fries. The burgers were $12 apiece and completely worth it! I will definitely come back!!! So yummy!

After going here on Friday with friends, I liked this place so much I went back Sunday for brunch! My favorite thing is that all the main burgers can be made with a black bean patty, so my vegetarian friends have plenty of options. I got the 3 slider plate so I could try 3 of their burgers and a side of fries. It was so much food, I was seriously stuffed by the second slider. Brunch was no different. I went for the "waste management" (2 eggs, 2 griddle cakes, 2 strips of bacon and potato hash) and ended up sharing the food. My husband got the coffee cake burger and said it was well worth trying something unusual here. Note, the place is a little small, so there can be a bit of a wait for a table. The beer list is good and so are the cocktails, you may want to consider taking the BNSF line, get off at the "Brookfield" stop, and walk the 1/2 a block north so you can have a couple of drinks if you have to wait.

Was looking to try this place while it was in Countryside and I never made it around to it. When I did, it was closed. I was delighted to find it open even closer to me in Brookfield. We tried it and it's very good. Tasty burgers, ice cold beer, great wings, not much else to say other than give this place a chance. If you're looking for a $5 burger, this is NOT the place for you but I can justify a $12 burger if it's very good, which this one was. Good alternative to driving into the city. It's a bit small so get there early for a table. Nice beer selection too!

I had the Hotter than Hell burger and it was thee tastiest burger I've ever had. I will be back. PS - it's not the cheapest burger joint, but this is what burger places are now (gourmet) and I would pay for it again.

Do your self a favor and try a maple bacon donut. Personally I'm not amazed with their hambugers I thought they where a little over priced but the hotter than help buger was not very hot. maple bacon donut was still warm and delicious

Great burger....... Amazing burger....... Top 3 burger in Chicago Burger Antics is a small little place in Brookfield. The burgers and appetizers are amazing and everything is always cooked to perfection. Seating is good. My only two knocks on the place is that they only have one TV and it is never on and they close way to early on the weekends. I think they don't bring in more customers because of this. The service is also hit or miss. Sometimes it is spot on and sometimes it is like pulling teeth to get what you want..... aka SLOW.... Very SLOW. Food = A+ Service = A to C- depending on the day Atmosphere = B Cleanliness = A

I live in Brookfield and my husband and I were excited to hear about a new restaurant opening in town. We tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. Overall, a great experience! We went on a Saturday night. It was busy. I was happy to see the restaurant is popular. Once we were seated, we decided to order drinks. I chose the special flavor of Margarita for the night. It was a Blood Orange Margarita. When the drink came, it looked beautiful. However, it didn't taste good. It was really bitter and not sweet at all. I think they were going for looks and not flavor. I wasn't that upset though, knowing they had a good list of craft beers on tap I could switch to. The service overall was slow, but I understand it being a newer business. Our waitress was friendly though. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer and they were delicious! Highly recommend! I love pickles and have had a lot of fried pickles at places all over Chicago. These were some of the best! For our main course, my husband made his own burger. I don't remember everything he put on it, but he said it was delicious! I had a chicken sandwich because I am not such a beef fan. I did the make your own as well and mine was also very good! All the condiments and add ons were delicious and not skimpy! I especially recommend the Chipotle mayo and the goat cheese! And the fries, to die for! So delicious!! Again, I have had my fair share of fries around Chicago, and these fries are some of the best! The ambiance was great! Hip and fun, totally unexpected from the outside. Overall, great experience! Excited you are in Brookfield! Will be back! A few things I wish they had, which I know could come with time: More options for non-burger eaters. A salmon burger and/or portobello mushroom. Fun dipping sauces for the fries.

My wife and I have been here 3 times already and we love it! Don't listen to the bad reviews. You want a great burger come here then have one for yourself and see for yourself. Everything from the appetizers to dessert are really good. I don't wanna over sell this place but seriously, some people in Brookfield just like to pick everything apart and can be whiny brats. Burger Antics is a great place with great food in our awesome little town of Brookfield. Come check it out!

Yes, they have great burgers and a nice cocktail menu. And I was excited about trying the place after reading the reviews, but I could not enjoy the food with the loud heavy metal rock music. Also the walls are basically bare, since the artwork is placed at a very odd and extreme height. The result is an uninviting atmosphere that for me could not be overcome by the great burgers. Maybe that's why the place was empty at 9 pm on a Saturday night. Fix the atmosphere!

We stopped by this place on a Sunday for brunch. The menu was small but everything looked good. Then we ordered and proceeded to wait the next hour for our food to arrive. I couldn't tell you what took so long because we didn't order anything too complicated and it wasn't busy at all. The waitress was very friendly and checked in on us often and when we did get our food it was good which is the only reason they are getting two stars.

Burger Antics has gotten better and better each time I go. The standard menu burgers are all great, but I always look forward to trying the ever changing burger of the week and burger of the month. The beer list has a great selection that I don't see at any of the bars in the area. BA is a great addition to Brookfield and I'm so happy they are here. I can't wait to watch them grow. If I could, I'd give them 4.5 stars!

The burger here was on par with my favorite burgers in the city (Owen & Engine and David Burke), and leaps and bounds better than Chicago stalwart Kuma's Corner. Staff was friendly, tap list was solid, and most importantly, the burger was perfect. The patty was well seasoned and cooked exactly as requested (medium rare for me), the toppings were delicious, and the bun-to-burger ratio was right where I wanted it to be. The real surprise was the house-made ketchup; I usually wonder why places bother when Heinz is so much better, but their house-made ketchup was fantastic. I live in the city, so Brookfield is a hike for me. However, Burger Antics is so good, I want to plan all future west-suburban excursions to coincide with lunch or dinner so we can stop in for one of the best burgers in the area.

I was told this place had good burgers, they were wrong, this joint has GREAT burgers!!! Great burger cooked to perfection topped with anything you desire, on a pretzel bun served with some of the best fries I've had in a long time. Even the condiments kick ass. And they even have a good selection of craft beers. You can bet I'll be back soon!

Shame on you guys for dogging on burger antics. Did you guys think you were going to Alinia or maybe The Avairy? This is a burger spot with a gourmet twist, and to me it seems everyone was trying their hardest to deliver a quality experience. I had a blue cheese and bacon burger with fries. It was delicious. The homemade condiments pushed it over the top. You're going to complain about ambience? You're sitting down for a burger you stuck up pieces of shit. These are quality burgers. You're not in a fast food joint. If you plan on going there during the dinner hour you're probably going to have to wait for your meal just like everyone else. Oh and the music. Everyone's complaining about the music. Are you fucking serious? I could care less if this guy played Nickelback, as loud as he could, all day long, on repeat if he serves me that same burger every time. Go to their website. It seems like they hold special dinners from time to time with a very elevated menu. I would imagine it's a flat rate per guest. You're not gonna find a burger spot that does that from time to time. Also a monthly rotating menu. Do you know how hard it is to do that every month? That shows you these people care about what they're doing. I'm also curious to see what brunch is all about. Quirky and clever menu all of you should try once.

Love this place. Went one night at around 6:30 didn't wait for a table but the restaurant was packed. There food was amazing. Great burgers and sides. I had a cream soda that was really good. I really liked the atmosphere but I do have to say that the people working there have tattoos, piercings, colored hair, and heavy metal playing. But overall the food, drinking, and everything was great. I highly suggest it.

By far the best burger I have had in awhile. I had the black and blue burger with chips and Cole slaw. Everything we ordered was excellent. The waitstaff was attentive and very pleasent. The burgers average around $11 each, but the quality meat and ingredients are evident in every bite! I will be back and strongly encourage trying this place to everyone. The fresh made bacon maple donut is a great way to end a not-so-healty but great culinary expirence.

Burgers were very good I didn't like the homemade ketchup (don't like curry or the cinnamon in ) fried pickles were good the maple doughnut was my fav and was amazing. But 2 people 2 burgers 1 app 1 doughnut it was 50 bucks with tip it was on the high side. And they need a more bun choices in my opinion the pretzel roll is played out a nice Light brioche bun would be perfect I would love to go more but the 50 lunch price will keep me coming back only once a month

Burger Antics is a burger lover's dream. It combines the best aspect of Kuma's corner (the toppings) with the best aspect of the now-closed Dillman's (the burger itself) to create delicious meat concoctions. From specials like a peanut butter and jelly burger to staples such as the hotter than hell burger, you will not find a better medley of flavors perfectly complementing a burger where the flavor of the meat always shines through. The appetizers were delicious too (we had the stuffed mushrooms and fried pickles) Having only just re-opened, the new staff is still learning the ropes, but once they get over the minor bumps and bruises inevitably attendant to a new staff, this place is going to be unmatchable when it comes to having a burger craving. My only qualm is that its located so far away from my apartment (which is probably a good thing, or else I would be there every night).

I wasn't very excited by the descriptions on the regular burger menu, but upon searching the rest of the menu, I was hopeful. I ordered the Mad Tea Party, a burger made with tea, a mild creamy cheese (I can't remember, but it wasn't strong like goat cheese) and sliced pear. De. Li. Cious. I wasn't a big fan of the house made catsup. My coworker liked it, but it tasted too much like marinara to me. Huge kudos to the variety of craft beers AND sodas. I was able to sample a new 5 Rabbit brewery beer, and liked it enough to order it. It was about a 20 minute wait for our food, which I think is reasonable compared to similar restaurants. We almost got another table's orders by mistake, but the waitress was sincerely apologetic. The table next to us had to wait a LONG time for their food, but the staff kept good communication with them, and ended up discounting their appetizer and offered them a free dessert. The decor is simple and clean, and the art on the walls is interesting. Both bathrooms are labled as just bathrooms, so whether youre male, female, or anywhere in bewteen (or beyond), you can go in one or the other. I liked the music playing, but even if it's not your thing, it's not blaring in your eardrums the way it would at similar establishments. In any case, the only reason I am rating my BA experience with 4 stars instead of 5; I wish there were more sweet burgers on the menu. I'm a fan of peanut butter and bananas, figs and onions, or cranberry sauce on my patties.

VERY EXPENSIVE BURGER. They charge for ketchup, Mayo, everything. Service needs cleaning up and very slow. Fries very salty. Anyone can make a good Burger, but to cost $50.00 for two burgers and 1 beer, is a red flag!! Beer was cheapest part.

I was totally excited to try this place because Brookfield needs something new other than all the bars. We came in today stoked for some great burgers. However, it was brunch today and they only had one burger on the menu. With a name like burger antics I expected burgers. I started with a Bloody Mary which tasted like cocktail sauce and was so salty and had enough horseradish in it to clear your sinuses forever. I had to send it back. I ended up ordering the breakfast burger and my friends got 2 other sandwiches which they loved. A blt and a chicken pesto. They also ordered a salad that was 7 bucks and was basically a side salad. My burger however came out almost raw and when I told the server she said "well medium means pink here". I've been bartending and serving for 10 years I know the difference between rare and medium as well as not trying to school your customers. I also couldn't eat the runny scrambled eggs and undercooked grease soaked bacon so I left them off to the side. The fries were great, think hey buds for all you Brookfield locals. For 3 of us with 3 alcoholic drinks the bill was 68 bucks and that was after they took off my Bloody Mary. Totally ridiculous for a lunch tab. At 12 bucks a burger it better be worth the 25 to 30 min wait for our food, which it wasn't especially with an empty restaurant. I really hope this place was just having an off day because it has the potential to be great. But I'll stick to Irish times for my burger joint.

On the advice of Tim, at the Salt Creek Wine Bar, we stopped in for a burger before returning there for live music. All in all a good night for us; this was our first time exploring the dining scene in Brookfield. Atmosphere at Burger Antics isn't warm and cozy but more edgy/urban. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the activity. Started with drinks from an interesting but not too massive selection of craft beers. We ordered a plate of sliders and fries to share. We were warned that the sliders tend to come out closer to well done ( I appreciated the honesty--we are constantly being told that the "chef knows how to get it right" on doneness, and then they don't) but we asked that they do their best to not overcook. Those little burgers were perfect! A nice medium but so juicy and good! We chose the bbq bacon cheddar, the black n blue, and the mushroom n swiss. Enjoyed every one. The fresh cut french fries, the homemade sauces (we tried the ranch, mayo, and the ketchup) were all bursting with flavor. Had a nice time chatting with the owners, they are obviously passionate about what they do. I think they are still working out some of the wrinkles in terms of service, but showed that they cared about making their customers happy.

Count me a fan. If you're going to have a big pub burger, you want a bang for your caloric buck and this delivers. Everything was perfect, from proportion of bun to meat to the topping ration (I had the Midland). House made pickles were perfection. My only qualm is with the ketchup. It just is a bit weak and thin. I like housemade stuff, but sometimes you must defer to the master and in this case Heinz rules. Cole slaw is thicker than I like, almost like a chunky cabbage salad, but it was refreshing and I think they intend it to be this way. Beer list was absolute perfection. It isn't a giant tap list but it is well chosen with a great deal of variety. That this is a labor of love is eminently clear. If this was by my house we'd be many pounds heavier.

After our visit to Brookfield Zoo, we stopped at Burger Antics for lunch. It was a real mixed bag of reviews between me, my husband and adult son. What we liked: The burgers. The pretzel bread buns the burgers were on. The thick bacon The slice of cheddar cheese on the burger The sauted onions on the burger The generous serving of french fries and the french fries themselves. In other words, we liked the food. What we weren't too excited about: The homemade ketchup. None of us liked the flavor. Wish we could have asked for a nice bottled ketchup to go with those delicious fries. Pickle that comes with the burger - beware, it is a hot pickle. The noise problem. I know that the owners are addressing it but until they get it fixed, it is a real problem. We got there about 1 hr. before closing and the restaurant was 3/4 full. Noise level was too much for us. Not only the normal adult conversations but then when you add in a couple of toddlers who scream at different times.... It was enough to ask my family if they'd like to get our lunch to go. The others did not want to leave. After a little while the table of 12 left and the noise level came down to what we considered just 'loud' but acceptable.

There is no doubt that I love burgers- I sometimes dream about them. Since I have been pregnant, I have wanted them even more. Therefore, my family and I stopped by this hub on a Sunday around 1130am ready to feast on what we heard were fantastic, mouth-watering burgers of love. I have no idea what my husband ordered in terms of what kind of burger, but I ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger which came with fries and a pickle (pregnant girls' dream, right?). Our kiddo had eggs and potato hash. Although my kid loved the eggs and potato hash and was quite upset when he ran out of food, I was less than thrilled with my food. Now let me say something here- it is hard to trust a pregnant woman. It is especially hard to trust a pregnant woman's opinion about food. Therefore, perhaps it was a taste bud/hormone issue that drove me to not melt at the first or second or third bite of my burger. Maybe it wasn't. Who knows. However, it wasn't thrilling. On that note- the place was pretty dang packed for 1130 on a Sunday and even the bar was filled with people. The decor is clean and cool and what the heck- Back to the Future was on the tv- WHAT?! Therefore, I believe that I had a personal issue, but everyone else loves the place and I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the dining experience. We will probably go back in a few months once I my taste buds return to normal :)

This is hands down the best burger I've ever had in my life. Yes, better then Ditka's, better the Weber Grill, better then everywhere. I came here with my boyfriend and a couple of friends before the Zoo Brew. I had the BBQ bacon cheddar burger and it was absolute perfection. I want to bathe in the BBQ sauce. It was the perfect amount of sweet. We didn't have drinks since we'd be drinking at the zoo but it seems like they have a pretty impressive beer list. Great meal and a reasonable price. I can't wait to go back. Can I suggest a pineapple burger?

I had been DYING to come to Burger Antics, after having one visit in the previous location in Indian Head Park. I finally made it there this week and was not disappointed. Service was pretty good. It seemed like there was one server and a bus boy per side of the restaurant, so there was small delays at times, but it's understandable. We ordered the fried pickles as an app. 3 huge spears came out in all of their breaded glory. This is not my preferred type of fried pickle. The breading had good flavor but didn't stay on the pickle, and when I cut one of pickles, the other half jumped off the table onto the floor. Sad day. I loved the sweet mustardy dipping sauce they came with! I ordered the slider trio with a side of fries for my meal. The sliders were so flavorful and amazing! I had the BBQ bacon, which even in slider form had huge pieces of bacon on it, the mushroom swiss- which was ooey gooey, and the 4 cheese. They were all equally amazing, but if I had to pick a favorite, I'd say the 4 cheese was tops. All are served on toasted pretzel buns and will leave your hands with a nice sheen of grease on them. The fries were plentiful, $3 as an extra side, which was way more than enough. These are also pretty greasy, and somewhat limp. I do like a crispier fry, but they weren't bad. The housemade ketchup was more like a marinara, but with more complex flavor. Really different and good! I loved their beer options- I found two for my weaker pallet that were fantastic! We also went full on crazy and ordered the Maple Bacon Donut... that is definitely on my top 10 list of best things I've ever eaten!! It has a crispy outside, and more of a bready inside- like a cinnamon roll might be, but then is slathered in maple frosting and crumbled bacon. The salty sweet + fresh warm bread was DIVINE!! All in all, I will be back soon and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal!

My husband and I have been to Burger Antics a few times (once at the previous location in Countryside and twice at the new Brookfield location). The food has been great every single time! It's so hard to choose which burger you want so this last time I opted for the trio of sliders (mushroom and swiss, 4 cheese and the burger special- mild buffalo sauce, bacon, egg) all so mouth-watering good. For dessert, we had the special- pear cupcake. It was delicious, especially the cream cheese frosting, not too sweet. We love Burger Antics, it's so much better than a couple of burger places in the city that requires a 3 hour wait (you all know which burger places I'm talking about)!

Took my mom here for her birthday a couple days ago. We were not disappointed! Started with the elotes. Very good. I've had better, but very tasty and a good portion. I followed that up with the Bacon Habanero Ranch burger. This is probably the best burger I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly. The flavor from the cut habanero on the burger was the perfect topping! Everything about this burger was delicious! Ended with the Pizookie. Delicious homemade cookie with homemade ice cream on top. Great way to end a great meal. Hope to go back soon! I need to try more burgers!!

The place was nice and clean. It looks like a want to be art/biker/bar/sit down place to eat. I went with my son for brunch/lunch had never heard of this place so was looking forward to see where he was taking his dear old mom. You could bring your family. I like that they do have an Artist of the mouth on the walls. The place was not too busy. The servers were very helpful and worked well with one another. My food was hot and cooked just right. I order the Sliders (3) Black-n Blue, 4 Cheeses and B. B. Q. and Bacon and nope fires do not come with that plus 1 basket of fires. My son had a Burger with a Maple Bacon Doughnut. The doughnut was not for me. I enjoyed my food and yes I would go back.

Was very disappointed in the service and quality of the burgers. Maybe they had a bad day. Would I go back? Maybe. Give it a try. I like to support local restaurants.

Best burgers anywhere. The husband and wife team of Dan & Brenna, owners of Burger Antics have won the best burgers anywhere award. OMG what A burger experience I had tonight. The taste of the beef really comes through and thank goodness for the pretzel bun to soak up all the massive juice. I had muenster cheese, onion frizzles, dill pickle chips and chipotle mayo on my perfectly all pink "medium" burger with homemade bbq potato chips. The list of add ons and options for your burger is at least 25 options and they are all well thought out. There are several other options besides the burgers including Mac n cheese salads and even a black bean burger and a special burger of the month too. Washed it down with a Sioux City Berry Berry Soda. ( yep Berry Berry ). Dan prides himself for his selection of gourmet sodas and there are about twenty to choose from various specialty providers. Having used up all my alcoholic drink tickets long ago, a thoughtful selection of non alcohol beverages is rare and much appreciated. Note there is an extensive list of craft beers and a very special whiskey menu for your enjoyment. Now the dessert review.....i have not met Brenna yet.... She is the master chef here and resident pastry goddess of Brookfield and greater Chicago area.....I almost sent a marriage proposal to Brenna after eating half of a homemade , made to order , warm ,succulent and savory Honey Maple Bacon donut. I decided not to propose only because Dan seems like a great guy and my buddy & I had a great conversation with him about Burger Antics. My current wife also may.... may have an objection also. Dan and Brenna are the bomb! I'm already planning for my next Burger Antic attack! I can't wait to Go back!

Dan the owner, was definitely the reason why I gave them 4 stars.... Well actually no... I lied... It's the Maple Bacon Doughnut.... Unbelievable!!!! Soooo good!!! My BF and I have heard good things about this place... So before watching the Blackhawks in a sports bar (Sanctuary right across burger antics -- review is next ) We had to eat early dinner. The only flaw..... Had to take one star away because..... No one even greeted us... The servers were just looking but not welcoming We just decided to sit ourselves... A few minutes later.... Our server... Cameron introduced himself and gave us a lil spiel .... He was nice but everyone should be nice.... There must have been 4-5 servers total, including the bartender? I mean this is a very small place.... When you open the door.... You can see everyone .... Would it kill the bartender or other servers to say Hi? Or was it because I'm Asian and my BF is Black? Smh.... This was our first time here and THAT first impression wasn't good at all.... But hey .... Good food always make things better.... And that's what they have!!! We ordered the ff: Fried pickles 4/5 Hotter than Hell 5/5 -- juicy, moist and cooked to perfection accdg to my BF who wanted it medium rare. 3 Samplers ( bbq bacon cheddar, mushroom Swiss, 4cheese burger ) -- love this platter... Was able to try most of the burgers and they're all juicy and had their own flavor -- 5/5 Maple Bacon Doughnut -- 5/5 -- this is just heavenly... Not too sweet not to salty -- warm and doughy..... Love love it We spent less than $60... Wow... What a treat!!! Dan, spent some time with each table, saying hello to patrons and spent time with us as well. Great guy!!! We will be back!!!

At night I have these wonderful dreams, some kind of sensuous treat. Not zucchini, fettuccini, or bulgar wheat but a big warm bun and a huge hunk of meat.. Am I dreaming or is Burger Antics actually open again? I really missed this place, I couldn't look at hamburgers the same after it closed. The new location is really nice and easy to find. There's plenty of tables and the new building is much bigger. Chef Brenna comes up with the best ideas and I always look forward to trying out the new burger of the week and month! Dan and the staff make sure your taken care of and are super friendly. They have a nice selection of craft brews and and a variety of alcohol. The house made ketchup and condiments are so good! I've thought about asking to buy a burger raw so I could have one on Mondays when they are closed. I come in a few times a week and never disappointed.

After seeing such great reviews for Burger Antics, I just had to try them out. Plus, I don't normally pass up a burger with a pretzel roll. We started with the fried pickles and the stuffed shrooms. The pickles were delicious. The mushrooms were filled with goat cheese, which I love, but they lacked a bit of extra flavor. I decided to build my own burger and added goat cheese, pickled onions, and carmelized apples. I must say it turned out amazing. Creamy, sweet and a hint of tartness! The chips were yummy too. Seemed like they had a hint of sugar on them. The homemade ketchup was a bit marinara like, but the flavor was still pretty good. Can't wait to try the maple, bacon donut next time!! The service was fair, but to the waitresses defense, I think she was waiting on the entire restaurant!

Last September, Boyfriend and I searched for Burger Antics in their old location being stuck, staring, and forced to eat crappy Quizno's. When I saw they were finally re-opening AND it is *literally* 1.5 miles from our house, I could not have been more excited. The day we went, we arrived around 5:45 PM, and I am very glad that we did. There were maybe two tables with people but by the time we left the place was almost packed. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. They had a handful of different wines as well as a variety of custom cocktails. I knock them down a half star for serving my moscow mule in a regular glass. I know it makes me a bit of a cocktail elitist but one of the best things about the drink is how cold it remains in the copper mugs that remind me of my grandma's house. They do get props for serving with Tito's though. We each ordered a slider plate and a basket of fries to share. Personally, I found the fries to be oversalted (minus the other half a star). The boyfriend loved that they used their own homemade ketchup so much that I didn't get a chance to even try any! I tried the 4 Cheese burger, mushroom and swiss without the mayo, and BOTW the Kapow minus the fried egg. I was disappointed that when they took away the egg they also took away the Sriracha but to the chef's defense, I didn't ask for it to be replaced. Each slider was served on a mini pretzel bun with the meat prepared medium well. I found medium well to be the perfect cooking length. The burgers were still really juicy and flavourful. I didn't feel like anything was missing from the actual sandwich itself. The combinations in the flavours were out of this world. I found the slider plate to be incredibly filling in itself and was asking myself "Can you make it through this third mini-burger? YES, YOU CAN!" NOTE: Because we each wanted to try the BOTW as an option on our slider plates, there was an upcharge of $1 for each slider plate. Before we arrived, I happened to see a photo of the desert of the month - a raspberry cheesecake trifle. It is this delicacy of Godliness. Chunks of Angel Food Cake, raspberry sauce, raspberries, and a cheesecake filling made to look pretty in a desert cup. This is the most delightfully, amazing so much so that we each scarfed down our own. As we are waiting for our check, Boyfriend says to me "we will definitely come back here. This place is so good!" Yes, we definitely will as Burger Antics has reinvented burgers for us.

Few things would ever get me to come back from my Yelp sabbatical...but Burger Antics is one of those things. Hands down, the best burger bar I've ever been to. Great small plates for appetizers, a fantastic beer list, and a rotating menu focusing on the most creative, delicious, and appetizing burgers I've ever seen. I've had the bacon cheddar, buff n stuff, and Montezuma's revenge and would get all three again. The hardest part is deciding which one to get, but splitting a couple burgs with a friend is always a great option. The staff is very attentive and accommodating to any reasonable request, and the burgers are cooked perfectly each time. I'm really looking forward to the Sunday brunch next week!

Burgers good, house made BBQ chips awesome, but adds up when you add a beer or bring your kids. Would like a few more choices of burgers instead of always ordering the build your own. Have been to both locations and the new Brookfield spot is so much nicer- Our friend ordered the wings for an app and said they were good but they looked unappetizing- maybe a little char would have helped. Our meal for 2 adults 2 teens with 1 app and sodas no liquor- was around $80- so not going to be visited often. But burgers juicy and delish!

I'm so glad these guys are back. Do you like burgers? Especially ones that a thick and juicy and perfectly cooked plus exploding with flavor? This is your place. Seriously. I dream of the Hotter Than Hell - smoked Gouda, avocado, jalapeños, and that sauce all perfectly perched on that pretzel bun with that amazing meat patty... Even without the optional grilled habaneros, it packs a punch of the best kind! And you've got the 4 cheese cheeseburger that comes with a chunk of fried cheese on top or, if you like bacon, there's a bacon cheddar burger. You can even build your own concoction if you want! You've also got my favorite fried pickles anywhere - the batter doesn't fall off! And the mustard sauce is just right with them. If you're a Mac and cheese fan, they've got that, too. Creamy and rich and just fantastic. This new and improved version of BA also has a pretty nice little craft beer selection on draft and a few select bottles, too. These guys know their beer. It's a very good thing. There are also a couple of wine options as well as house cocktails, which we will definitely try soon. Service is quite good for less than a week open - properly attentive and friendly and helpful, which is always a good thing! Come see these guys. Eat a burger, drink some beer and be happy. Yes.

This place is the best. Most delicious and create burgers you'll find anywhere. Pair that with hand cut fries, an extensive craft beer menu that rotates regularly and killer cocktails, how can you go wrong. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. This place even puts out a burger of the week and month. Eat here!!! Seriously, these burgers are killer. Ps: they offer an amazing handmade black bean veggie patty for those going the less carnivorous route. Vegetarians rejoice!

Phenomenal. Yup, that sums it up. Love the small restaurant atmosphere. From the friendly staff to the great food, it was a great experience that will keep me coming back. The burger was so perfectly done. The coleslaw was fantastic! The pickles were amazing. Usually no one thinks about the sides like slaw and pickles standing out in a dish, but these were great. Great selection of craft beers and sodas. Just what I was looking for!!! Too bad the smores dessert was a monthly special, because that was just epic!

For starters, they don't serve burgers on Sunday. That was really disappointing for a place called "Burger Antics." I was considering walking out, which throughout the course of my meal several other parties did due to the lack of burgers at a burger joint. My brother-in-law was disappointed with the strength of the coffee and made note of it when we were asked how everything was, but they didn't make an effort to fix it. The food that we did get was pretty good, however I was in the mood for a gosh dang burger. The fries were delicious and would have complimented a burger really well. Did I mention they don't serve burgers on Sunday? I wish I would have asked what the logic is behind that decision.

Okay so heres the deal i was just saying the other day how its hard to find a good burger today, fake pie frozen patties everywhere. For the first time my bf and i went here and omg!!!! Killer music, hott hip looking staff and awesome black and white vintage tv programming! !!! Love, love the place!!!

Love!! Is there anything else I need to say. Their entire menu is to die for and their specials each month and each week are out of this world. I'm a huge burger fan and I absolutely love coming here when I'm craving one!!

SERIOUSLY as good as it gets! This is that place where the owners pour their heart and soul into every dish; every table; every bottle of craft beer. Hand-made (from scratch!) Ketchup, Mayo, BBQ sauce, beef patties, etc... I wouldn't be surprised if Brenna (Chef) went into the salt mines and ground her own table salt! SO MUCH BETTER in the new location! Nice job escaping the stench of stale beer and tobacco stained gaming machines that have taken over Mark's on 66. Good riddance to that dive! Keeping that in mind, the new location is a new restaurant! New staff, new computers, new draft system, an ever-changing menu, and a BIG learning curve that goes along with any new business. BUT, Dan's and Brenna's passions and talents are still present, so give these restaurateurs a chance and you will not regret it! A great addition to Brookfield and a truly unique burger joint! *** WARNING *** You will most likely crave these burgers continuously once you try them. Nothing else compares! And don't even get me started on the dessert options.

Excellently executed burgers and sides! The menu selection is well-crafted, the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is great. I'm so happy there is someplace like this in Brookfield! Seriously delicious! If you love a good burger, give Burger Antics a try.

May 10, 2015. 152 years since the death of Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. In his honor we went to PePe's, they were mobbed. We didn't know what to do. My friend Buster suggested a new place that opened in the zoo town. I heard about it when it was in Countryside. We saddled up on our horses and rode east. BOOOOM! Ales lagers and sours ohhh my! Burgers are great, wings are huge, pickles are spears. All burgers are $12 and can be replaced with chicken or veggie. Since I am a vegan I got the BBQ with extra bacon and cheddar. Owners are very nice and friendly.
