Love the freshness of the food. The chicken is very flavorful. I wish they had lime slices available for the. Irritated bowls, but otherwise, this is one of my favorites. I love the pico and the fresh guacamole. One disappointment is that chips do not automatically come with an entree and what you do get when you pay for the bag is a minimal amount. I will keep coming back, I just won't pay extra for chips.

I eat here often. The place is always very busy. They do an excellent job keeping the line moving. Even when the line is backed up to the door, i never have to wait long to get all the way through the line to get my food. Food is always great. I do wish they had queso like Qdoba though!

I eat here all the time and most of the staff is very friendly when I come in. The food is always consistent. I wish they had a "rewards" program - maybe get a free burrito for every 100 burritos that you buy - or something! :) I do go to Moe's on Mondays for their $5 special. If Chipotle had free chips and salsa I would probably never eat at Moe's again. :)

I heard so many people talking about how this place is, so I tried it out and was very dissapointed. I ordered a chicken burrito. I was small, expensive and no better then something I would get from Taco Bell. The staff was impatient and curt. I will not return. There so many better Mexican places in Bloomington/Normal area.

My wife and I love this place. Good food and it's gluten free (which is near and dear to this gluten intolerant's heart). The steak and chicken selections are definitively spicier than it's restaurant sibling, Qdoba. I usually get the pulled pork which is a bit more bland, but it's gluten free. I make up for that blandness by adding their medium salsa. If I were to go back to the steak and chicken, I'd stick with the mild salsa.

I'm a big fan of fast-food burritos, but this Chipotle location stands out among burrito restaurants. The service is outstanding. The employees are almost always friendly, and really act like they're glad to see you. I've never had a bad meal there. I actually like the menu at Qdoba better, but I'll go to Chipotle more often because of their service and their food-buying ethics.

Yummy guacamole! Love the flavors and that it is easily diet-friendly for me.

I'd heard so many good things about Chipotle from friends who moved here from other areas that I was ecstatic when I saw this place being built. Honestly, I was disappointed. While I appreciate that the ingredients look fresh, I found the salsas and meats rather flavorless. I just didn't like it much compared to Qdoba. I didn't hate my meal, but I also don't see much of a reason to go back when I have better-tasting options nearby.

I visited Chipotle its opening night - Friday, November 30th around 8pm. I came in expecting an experience similar to Qdoba and from what I could see, I was correct. The menu, seating, and atmosphere are all very similar. What surprised me, and set Chipotle apart from Qdoba, was their "naturally raised" meat - free of antibiotics and humanely raised. I noticed the music once I had already started in on my burrito. They played a large variety and there was not anything I disliked listening to (they even played country I didn't mind. Imagine that!) It was a nice change from all the over-played music I hear everywhere else. I ordered the Chicken burrito with black beans, corn salsa, cheese and sour cream. It was spicier than Qdoba, but not overpowering. I'd call it pleasantly spicy - it leaves you with a nice after-burn but not so much that you constantly want something to drink. They know how to wrap burritos there, too; Mine didn't fall apart as soon as it was taken out of the foil. Overall, I'd say Chipotle is slightly better tasting than Qdoba. I support their company philosophy, as well, and I will be going back in the near future. I hope they live up to the initial impression they left me with.

I mean I could eat Mexican food everyday of my life who are we kidding! I had to review this Chipotle because of their outstanding service. My sister does not share the same affinity for Mexican food and I was jonesing for a Chipotle burrito. While my sister ordered the people that were working were kind, courteous and patient. They answered questions and gave suggestions as to what she might like based on what she had told them. They were also very friendly when I ordered. As I got to the cash register the lady that rang me had me laughing and smiling. I just felt so good about the whole experience I ended eating my entire burrito on the patio! It was just such a nice experience.

My absolute favorite! The food is consistently good, the staff is always friendly, quick service even when they're busy, and I feel like I'm making a healthy choice when I eat there (although I'm sure the sour cream and cheese add a few calories...). If I'm going to eat out I'd rather pay a little extra knowing I'll have a good experience every time than take a chance somewhere else.

The opposite of fast food. They have fresh ingredients, freshly prepared, spicy but flavorful marinated meat and all served faster than fast food. Qdoba has more sauce options however I prefer Chipotle's taco or burrito to Qdoba's regular taco or burrito. Not sure why you would say its expensive. McDonald's Extra Value Meals are $7 nowadays, so $8 for a drink and burrito or tacos with fresh, healthy ingredients is about right. Try the veggie burrito with fajita veggies for a healthier, cheaper option, which includes free guacamole.

(pronounced chi-POAT-lay) This burrito chain keeps it simple -- pick a select few items to sell, choose fresh and local ingredients, and they get it all right every time. It's a party for my taste buds!

Effing yum. I have to rate every Chipotle 5 stars because it's so good, and because I'm addicted to it. The burrito bowls are awesome and the meat is always really nice and tender. If you've never been here, you're crazy.

If you are looking for a delicious fast food burrito store then look no further. In my opinion Chipotle beats out Moe's and Qdoba in overall taste and freshness of ingredients. I love both their chicken and steak and I swear I could eat there everyday and not get bored. I highly recommend eating there.

I am not a big fan of Chipotle, but this experience--taking my wife for the first time was real good. The steak bowl is a good meal, even for two, even to go.

Well if you've never been to a chipotle before you need to quit being lazy and go. I love it. It's consistent and always yummy. Not crazy about the patron margarita I had there but the burritos are amazing. I eat here like once a week. Totally addicted.

I visit Chipotle at least once a week. The food is flavorful, fresh and doesn't make me feel guilty! Yummy!

I love Chipotle, I mean really love, but I have to say that this is the WORST location I've ever been to. You can count on poor customer service and consistently inconsistent food quality. Not only are the workers tripping over each other taking turns screwing up (like putting other peoples' food on your tray, forgetting to give you cups every time problems) but the skimpy size of my veggie burrito has me wondering if it's worth the cost. Chipotle, please fire everybody at this location and start over so I can get my weekly sublime zen-burrito without anxiety.

The workers paid no attention to me. There was a hair in my food. Moe's is way better.

I have been several times and the service has seemed ok. Usually clean and organized. The food is bland but edible. It is hit or miss when it comes to the quantity of chicken that they give you---just depends on who is working that particular day.

I love this place. The burrito bowl is my favorite. They always load up my order with tons of meat and toppings. I work nearby and sometimes they will bring us free burritos just because they can. I love them!!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
