This was my first time at Imo's. I loved it. Yes, it was a different style of pizza than I am accustomed to, but I was up for something a little different. I like getting local pizza in various places. I loved the thin crust a lot, a lot. The cheesy sauce on the pizza was a tasty delight. Our family ate every bit of the pizza on the pan at our table. Friendly staff, modest dining room, but it was just right for a neighborhood style pizza place. We are glad we tried it. We would gladly come here again. Thanks.

They didn't have a mozzerella option, as I don't like provel. The provel they did put on was minimal. The 8 dollar wings reminded me of the disgusting frozen wings you'd buy at a gas station, with no extra wing sauce. Overall, it's a poor excuse for a pizza place. Very disappointed.

Me and my mom ordered a carry out order today. They were nice and honored another stores coupon for $2 off a deluxe pizza. They also have good lunch specials. This is my favorite St. Louis style pizza. It has thin crust and provel cheese. Yummm they also have sandwiches, pasta, and salads. Their chef salad and garlic cheesey bread lunch special is a fav of mine.

The worst pizza we have ever had. If you like stale crackes with some tomato goo topped with a mixture of unidentified "cheese" then proceed with caution

Compared to other Imo's, this store is substandard. The staff has had poor attitudes on the telephone with me several times, and they take exceptionally long to deliver 2 blocks away to a loyal and frequent customer... Where as the pizza is typical Imo's quality, they dont offer mazzerella as some stores do, and the other dishes I've had don't match up to other stores (nasty lettuce, mushy bacon on a club, NO red sauce on a lasagna)

The short: if you're looking for traditional pizza...you're going to be disappointed. It's definitely an acquired local taste. The one star was do to the overall taste. We are in town visiting family for the holidays and wanted pizza for dinner after being on the road for 10+hours. My sister-in-law recommended Imo's. She described it as "thin crust" pizza. We ordered regular XL cheese pizza for $15. I hate to say the pizza was bad but it was definitely an interesting take on pizza. I will describe the pizza as a large round tortilla with a cheesy cream like sauce. That's cut into squares.

I hate reviews that complain about the "style" of food. Ok, it's not for you. Don't trash a business because of it. This is St. Louis style pizza at its best. This is one of the best Imo's in the metro area.

I count myself blessed to have born in the St. Louis Metropolitan area for one reason: Imo's Pizza. I now live in California, and I have yet to find a pizza that is anything like Imo's...the thin crust, the cheesy cheesy tomato sauce...my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Every time I'm home, I make it a priority to get Imo's at least once. I'm from West Belleville, so I've always ordered from this location. I've never had any reason to complain.

Are..You..SERIOUS?! Can this really be called pizza? I would call it Cracker with EZ Cheese and kibble. St Louis Style pizza leaves alot to be desired. Moving down here from Chicago (Pizza Snob) I was not aware of how bad pizza could really be. I went into Imos because I was very curious what St Louis style pizza was. To my dismay I was informed within the first bite! I like thin crust as well as deep dish but this crust was more like a soggy old Ritz. Taste and Texture. Provel is the "Cheese" of choice for pizza which is there first mistake, It has a strange consistancy and "Aroma" When I first ate it I went up and asked the kid behind the counter if they put EZ cheese in with the sauce because it had a wierd creaminess to it. and thats when I found out what Provel was and was told "That's St. Lous Style You'll get used to it" WRONGO! I will not be getting used to it because I will not put my tastebuds through that ever again. heheh "I'll get used to it?" I'll get used to not eating pizza before that happens! This must be one of those advertising gimicks that worked.. Someone HAD to think "If we call it "St. Louis Style" eventually people will love it just because its a Hometown thing" and a bunch of absent minded schmucks thought "Hey I live In/Near/Around St. Louis that's MY kind of pizza! I Love It!" Try going to the grocery store and picking up the cheapest pizza in the frozen food dept.. You'll be amazed at how much better THAT is than the assault on your taste buds that is Imo's
