This is not only a local hangout but local law enforcement too. If the cops will eat there the food can't be too bad! The Basque bread is delicious and portions are always healthy (as in a lot of food). Best hours for any restaurant in the county aside from Ziggy's in Bliss plus easy access right off the interstate. Service is always prompt and as someone else mentioned they have really good tater tots!

I have to admit I was going to write that the prices seemed steep but then the food arrived. Im having to take half of it to go. Huge sammich and huge veggie serving. I ordered some kind of sliced beef onions and swiss on a bun with a dipping sauce and it was awesome. Service was good and the place was very clean. Truck parking next door.

The food good. I had oatmeal, with toast. Other food I saw seemed very delicious. I gave it 3 stars, because the place smelled pee when I walked in. Tables were a mess and the waitress I had was young with reddish, black hair, in a bun. She was not friendly at all. Never said your welcome or thank you, no smile, no hi how are you. Guess she is not wanting to work here or does not need the tips.

Pretty good food here. Today, my family tried the Ruben sandwich, vegetable beef soup, the top sirloin steak, and I had the turkey sourdough melt. Everyone was pleased with their meals. The tots are like crack, I couldn't stop eating them and almost started to eat the tots off my husband's plate. We ordered the French dip and tots to take home. We'd skip the French dip as it was very tough cuts of meat. The tots, however, heated up real well in the oven and the tot binge began again. I'm sure we'll make a few more visits here soon.

Thick toasted huge slice of homemade bread. Salad bar. Steamed veggies. Fresh smashes potatoes. Delighted with our travel find! And we didn't have to go way off the freeway like Twin Falls. Definitely adding to our GPS for our next trip through. Yummy!

I normally do not write reviews but my family and I had such a bad experience here that I felt the need to write one. We have been going there for 10+ years and the food has always been great and the staff had been awesome. However, I don't know when they changed waiters but the one that we had gave us horrible service. She seemed bothered by any request that we had and it felt that we were being rushed. It also seemed that she would rather talk with the local customers. I'm coming from out of town so I wanted to spend quality time with my family and having her treat us like that ruined our morning. In addition, I went into the restroom and it had such a bad smell to it and it made me sick to my stomach. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because the food is still delicious. Hopefully they'll make changes to their staff soon because after that experience, I am unsure if I want to go back again (unfortunately).

Don't come here if you are on a diet or want a light meal. The hot turkey sandwich was excellent.

This seems to be a hidden gem in the area. Go now before the crowds come. Every aspect was excellent. They serve tots!!!!! The also bring a whole squeeze bottle of burger sauce with your burger!!! We used half of it!!! Great experience overall.

A combination gift shop, drive through espresso, and diner style restaurant. The decor is American kitsch, but most of what they sell is "Made in China." The food is standard diner fare, and the locals seem to eat here, which is a good sign. Breakfast all day, which was decent, but a little dry. The service is prompt and casual, like you would expect, big on warmth. Only complaint is they have the common sin of not knowing how to put the crisp on a hash brown, but decent little place to stop on the road for a quick bite.

We found this place to have fresh, tasty food. My husband said his Chicken Fried Steak was probably the best he had ever had. My veggie omelette was good too. Lacking a bit in terms of decor and atmosphere, but staff is very friendly! Our only complaint was we asked for crisp hash browns and they were not anywhere near crisp. Could have been an oversight and if ever again in the area we would still stop by again !

Great home cooking made a very pleasant change from the usual fast food fare along the motorways. The service was excellent - friendly, fast, efficient. Meals were good ordinary home cooking & prices very reasonable.
