On our way to ski Grand Targhee yesterday we found The Station in Victor, ID. The server was wonderful with a very pleasant smile. The food was really good and very generous portions. The pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs Benedict was delicious and the homemade biscuits and gravy was some of the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend stopping at the small cafe next time your in Victor.

We went to The Station for dinner after our drive into town and were pleasantly surprised to find that they were still open. We knew them originally as a breakfast and lunch place, but, as luck would have it, it was their first night open for dinner. I ordered the caprese and it was sooo good! All of the flavors were perfectly balanced and it was light and filling at the same time which was perfect. I also got the chicken Caesar salad which was also very good, but I definitely preferred the caprese. :) For desert we had pumpkin cheesecake which was heavenly :) I definitely suggest it because it tasted just like pumpkin pie. The service was great! They were very friendly and knowledgable about wine and the food. The atmosphere is great. It is way cute and quiet and would be great for a dinner date for two or the entire family coming over for the holidays! I would definitely suggest it to both people who live here and people skiing at Targhee for the weekend. It is a fantastic little place. :)

I seriously want to rate this higher, as all the food is great. The long term staff are all excellent and very friendly. Unfortunately the shortage of employees has taken it's toll. The newer seasonal employees just don't cut it. Long LONG waits for food and service of any kind on busy days. So much so that I stopped eating here. If you can get in when the tables are not all full (off seasons really) then DO!

Turns out... breakfast was worth the wait. Enjoyed The Station on Sunday, August 10 and after a rough start, we were pleasantly surprised and glad we stayed. We arrived at 11:00 am and we're told that it would take at least an hour to get our food and coffee would be at least 10-15 minutes. We'd already been turned away from another restaurant cause we were too big of a group so the 7 of us sat down and decided to wait it out. Once the servers got their bearings, our dirty table was bussed and we got coffee and water - took about 20 minutes for this to occur. Eventually learned that the restaurant was slammed all morning and didn't have enough staff on hand to cover everything. We think that there was a cook, and a couple of servers. The Targhee Bluegrass Festival was going on, a big run and the usual tourists enjoying Jackson Hole. The service eventually got better, coffee was really great and it did take over an hour to get our food. Once we ordered our food it came timely, it was excellent and served by the cook! HUGE portions, hot, and delicious. We all ordered something different - Lox & Bagel, Veggie Omelet, Eggs Benedict, Bacon & Eggs, NY Steak & Eggs and Huevos Rancheros. All of our meals were cooked to order and from scratch - tasted fresh & yummy! Turns out our server was the owner and she was nice, pleasant and very apologetic for the craziness. Once we ordered and the food came, they were even more attentive. The restaurant was still crowded but the servers had everything back in control. I hope that our service experience was a fluke and that they figure out how to have plenty of staff on hand to help them during busy times. The food was great and we'd hate to see them lose business because of poor service. The restaurant atmosphere is comfy and they have an indoor/outdoor dining area and an outdoor deck. The owner seemed fun-loving, thanked us for our patience and not making her cry and told us that her afternoon was going to be full of mimosas! We hope she enjoyed her afternoon and you should definitely give this place a try.

Wow! "The Sonora"- huevos rancheros are SO good... The poblano green sauce is insanely good.. The service is super friendly and helpful... Well worth the stop if you're on your way into or out of Teton National Park

Ok decided to give this place a shot again and wow what a huge mistake. Servers and even the cook were moody and food was horrible once again. Took forever to get food just like the last time and they weren't even busy. There was us and one other group of 5. Wow you seriously need to stand back and take a look at how you are treating your customers and especially your locals!

We are locals and have tried several times to give The Station a chance. We had family in town and it was the only place open for breakfast so we decided to give it another try. The food was all ok...nothing spectacular. But i ordered bacon with my meal and it was burnt to a crisp. I don't understand how a cook would think that is ok to serve. i took a bite of it anyways and it tasted like VERY old bacon. That bacon wouldn't have left the kitchen in most restaurants. The service was ok as well. Again, nothing great. No one was too impressed. Unfortunately that might be the last time we try The Station. It's VERY frustrating to spend that much money and be disappointed. And this wasn't the first time. I feel like it was a total waste of money

Awesome food in a great setting, the sun room is perfect for those cold winter days, or for catching some safe rays in the summer! Also they have opened the patio and outside drink shack for the summer, it's a perfect place to unwind after a long day on the water! Try the onion rings; they are some of the best I have ever had!! If you are a Ruben fan, the New Yorker is the best pastrami sandwich outside of NYC!! I also really like the Fish and Chips with the homemade tartar sauce, it was amazing, not to heavy and not to light. It is the perfect combination to the golden brown fish that was obviously cooked with lots and lots of love! The Station Grill is a must visit if you are ever in the Jackson Hole area!!! Don't hesitate to stop by and try some good down home cooking with some gourmet flare!!

The Station is one of my other favorite places to eat in Victor. The vibe of the place is really laid back, and sometimes they will even have live music! One of my favorite things about this place is that they are so kid friendly. Everything I've tried on the menu has been good. I especially like their dinner menu :)

Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices! Try the stuffed mushrooms or the potato skins for a great appetizer. They have yummy soups, and all their desserts are home made! Everyone is super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We love this restaurant, it's a nice addition to Victor!

Just went there June 1st 2013 for my wifes Bday. We are in walking distance and are very happy they are this close. The ribeye was as good as it gets. Loved the garlic butter on it. My wifes fettucine alfredo(we forgot what it actually was) was spicy and flavorful. No one else in Victor can touch them and there are several good spots in this little town outside of Jackson Hole. One small, complaint, the chicken shoulsd have been cooked as a whole breast. Was slightly dry. Still, the veggies were cooked brilliantly. Srvice, great. Very comfortable, but I had to sit and watch my Penguins get slaughtered by the Bruins. Cheesecake Rocks! If you guys ever want my Bison brisket, it would shut down hole bbq. 5 Stars
