Would have loved to sample the Sweetgrass APA on draft ... But, we waited outside to get let in (they open at 1 and we arrived at 12:57) and no one was there for 20 minutes. When one of the Brewers came out with a beer and sat on a chair outside to relax in the sun, he didn't even offer to help. Nonetheless, we left disappointed.

Andrea was super helpful and opened early to fill 2 growlers so that I could bring them back to Boise. Also, along with their great customer service they were enthusiastic and kind enough to advertise for Treefort Music Festival-- not only do they have good taste in beer, but also in music!!!

Grand Teton Brewery has been quietly making quality beer since 1988, well at least that's what the website says. I've tried a few of their beers out in Colorado and was pleasantly surprised by what they had to offer in the tap room. The Bitch Creek, Howling Wolf, Double Bitch Creek and the Lost Continent were all solid beers. Very good for each of their styles, but I was in love with the Pursuit of Hoppiness. It's an Imperial Red Ale with a lot of hops but very smooth and easy to drink at 8.5%. If you like hoppy beers, this is the one for you. Besides offering top notch beers, GTB has top notch views. Nested on the base of Jackson pass you'll get great views of the mountains from the patio while drinking your beers. Do yourself a favor, stop into this place and enjoy a beer on the patio ... it's a little slice of heaven. Oh they offer a lot of beers in to go options ... so if you find something you like, you can bring it home and share it with your friends.

Obviously since I've moved to the Jackson area I've taken in a couple beers from GTBC. The other night I stopped in for the first time after playing golf in driggs. I was DD so I didn't take in any of the adult beverages but I did however try their Root Beer. I love how there is nothing glamorous about the place it's just beer and the beautiful surroundings. If you're ever in the area you're only cheating yourself for not stopping in one of the finest craft breweries in the teton area.

Great people, great atmosphere, great beer. I will be going back whenever in town. Love the small town vibes and fresh Idaho air.

Really Poor Service. I've been here on serveral occasions and it has never been one for the record books. Last Saturday we visited and the bartender was incredibly rude, refused to offer to help us decide on beers (uhh, you work at a brewery, that's pretty much your only job), and was so involved in gossip with her friends at the bar we could hardly order. The other patrons seemed to agree she muffled the charm of the place. Being that there are other breweries nearby, save yourself the obnoxiousness and visit somewhere else.

This is a brewery serving room only. No food other than Popcorn (free!). There is a food trailer out in the lot. Beers are fantastic! You never know what you might find on tap, and there is sure to be something new. Bring a growler and take it home. Prices for beers are pretty average I think. This is kind of a local hangout, small bar area, huge yard for fun and games. Very social group of people. If you are not local, you may feel a little left out... as the conversations are loud and everyone can be involved. Being this is Victor... everyone is friendly, just join the fun!

We came to Grand Teton Brewing on a Sunday morning before we headed to Grand Teton National Park. This was one place my husband really wanted to go on our honeymoon as 7they no longer distribute to Oregon. (He loved getting a six of Bitch Creek at one of the Portland bottle shops and was disappointed to learn he couldn't get this beer there anymore.) We showed up about an hour or so early so we parked our car in their lot and walked down the bike path with our dogs to kill some time. After we came back and they were open we sat down on the outdoor porch. My husband ordered a sampler and got me a black cherry soda that was on tap and made there at the brewery. He liked all the beers but his favorite by far was the Double Bitch Creek. He bought a stainless steel growler (one of the best ones we've seen in our travels) and promptly filled it. I loved their cherry soda. It smelled and tasted wonderful- not too sweet and full of cherry flavor. We stayed on that porch for a few hours just enjoying the view, beverages and each other's company. The bartender was really friendly and she had a really nice chocolate lab who mingled briefly with our dogs. I eventually ended up ordering their house root beer. While it wasn't bad, it certainly wasn't my favorite root beer. It seemed more sweet than anything else and the flavor wasn't as developed as I usually like. Their fruity sodas are marvelous. I didn't try their creme soda. We got several bottles of their special reserves to take home as well. If we ever end up back in Victor, Idaho you can bet we'll find our way back to that porch sipping and relaxing. Grand Teton Brewing Company is one of the best breweries we have ever visited.

We really enjoyed this brewery and would not hesitate to visit again if we find ourselves in Victor. We had the flight of five 4 oz tasters and then both decided we wanted more Snarling Badger...it's a solid beer. It was a great stop on our road trip and we loved sitting outside, drinking beer and enjoying the view.

Since everyone else reviewed the beer and I don't drink beer, I will review their craft sodas. The rootbeer is my all time favorite rootbeer. They add a hint of wintergreen that really gives in a unique flavor. The other sodas I dont get often because I find them to be too sweet. Don't get me wrong, they are still good. All of their sodas are made with real sugar and not corn syrup which is a plus in my books. This place has a cool atmosphere and they recycle their cardboard carriers. I had about 30 at one point and they are worth 25¢ each if you return them. Great place to walk to from Pioneer Park for a refreshing beverage whether it be a craft beer or soda.

Visiting Victor and stopped in here last week. The cashier was friendly and helpful. I had a pint of Howling Wolf. Tasty! I was going to buy a stainless steel growler but thanks to their chalkboard hanging above the register I saw that all merchandise purchases on Sunday's are 10% off! I was there for a little over an hour, not much traffic on a Thursday afternoon. Which was fine by me. The taproom provides a beautiful view of the mountains. Would be nice to visit in the spring as they have a couple tables outside on the covered wood walkway. I went back on Sunday to purchase my growler, with a Howling Wolf fill. I also purchased the barrel aged Black Cauldron and Double Vision Dopplebock bombers. Excited to try them. Good job Teton Brewing!

We didn't actually visit the brewery, but bought a six pack of "Bitch Creek" at the Smith's in Jackson. Holy Hell....that is one AWESOME beer! So glad that the Chevron in Soda Springs, Idaho carries it! Stocked up on our way home, so now I have a small stash in our beer fridge with my name all over it.

Made a random trip over from Jackson to check out this brewery. We had a sampler and got to try lots of great beers. Enjoyed the fun neighborhood atmosphere. Created a mix and match six pack to take with me.

Just had Grand Teton's Sweetgrass beer the other night. Not too bad! Of course there are not many microbrews out there that I have met that I didn't like. Seems like through the farther Northwest you go the more bitter the beer seems to get. Not that I am complaining! I will keep this brewery in mind for the future!

Well, first off, for some dumb reason thought this place served food (came withn our 7 and 8 year olds right around dinner time). Way to read the web site, doh! Liked the beers...we did a sampler. Especially liked the weisse beer - very similar to traditional weisse beers. Also enjoyed the Imperial Red and IPA's. Rest were adequate. The huge break was they had popcorn and rootbear floats - which made the kiddies very happy. In addition the whole place is casual and you can sit outside next to a large lawn for kids to run around in.

Jenn the bar mistress is very knowledgeable about beer, as are the friendly bar patrons. They have a fabulous stainless steel growler, and they will fill it for free the first time...it's like 64 ounces or so. Love the Bitch Creek!

Bartender at Thai Me Up in Jackson, WY suggested we stop on our way south. Great place. No food. Just a brewery tasting room. Very friendly staff. Let me taste 6 of their brews and I ended up buying some "Pusuit of Hoppiness"

Great beer and great people. If you are ever in Victor, ID make sure you stop by. And their beer is sold all over Wyoming, Idaho, and Colorado so if you can't make it to the brewery, get the beer anyway. It's one of my favs!

Love this place. No food to speak of, but they have tables outside, and you can bring food. And the beer flows freely and is good. Highly recommend a visit to this ecclectic little brewery in Victor Idaho. Very cool place. They offer tours too. I sampled all the brews, and liked every one.

Beer is good. Free beer is better. My wife and I drove to Idaho so we could cross it off our list of states we've been to (brought my total to 43 and hers to 34). Anyway, we had been drinking bottles of Old Faithful Ale for the past few days in Jackson, WY and came across the brewery by accident. It's located just on the outskirts of Victor, Idaho: population 840. We walked in, were greeted by several very friendly people and invited to the "store" for a beer tasting. We went through all of the available beers (don't worry, they were only shots) and were impressed by the taste and complexity of them, particularly the Teton Ale, Sweetgrass IPA and Bitch Creek ESB. Also tasty, although very hoppy was the special release Sweetgrass Double IPA. Now, a double IPA is not something to be taken lightly. The Sweetgrass Double IPA was similar to Victory Hop Devil, but even more robust. The bitterness and hoppiness smacked you in the face Lawrence Taylor style, but I was envisioning myself with a cold bottle of it while watching a fall football game. Anyway, the girl helping us told us that the Teton Brewing Company is looking to expand to the East Coast and that Atlanta is their next target market. We were so excited, we bought matching long sleeve T's so that when Sweetgrass Double IPA and its friends are lining the Publix shelves, everyone will know we were first.

My family and I stayed in Victor for vacation and came back to this spot multiple times! The vibe of this brewery is laid back and casual. They have an AMAZING food truck to grab grub from, and a great selection of beer. They also have outdoor games (cornhole and horseshoes) to entertain yourself while you imbibe. We also got a brewery tour from Andrea who was awesome! Would recommend this place to any and everyone!!

Great variety of beers to sample. I loved the draft root beer. Pleasant staff, has knowledge about all the beers available to taste. Indoor or outdoor seating on a large grassy area with lots of flower baskets. I will return.

Love the outdoor seating & that's it's dog friendly. The food truck, Taste Buds, adds to atmosphere. Great selection & variety of beers. The sampler has a great size in comparison to breweries like Bend/Portland. I'm coming back next time I'm in Victor

Great place to relax! Stumbled on this brewery and were so welcomed and relaxed. The staff was friendly and nice, the facilities were nice and clean. The beer is reasonably priced and delicious. The views are amazing! Definitely worth traveling to.

Having tried the 208 brew at Brakemans burger joint just up the road, we had to head for the source of liquid that was exciting our palates to such a degree. The tap room was quiet cramped, minimal seating space. The flights however were inexpensive and were marketed with good descriptions. The staff was friendly and prompt. Great view of the mountains from the patio, however limited scenery viewing from the inside sitting area.

Dropped in on a Monday afternoon... When we walked into the cramped taproom, we were greeted with an odd smell akin to a boys' locker room (feet, sweat, etc.). In addition, there was an employee lunch that took up almost the entire space. However, I can see it being a cozy place to spend time on a cold winter day, post-skiing, or one could hang out on the patio on a hot summer afternoon. There was only one bartender -- who was working her ass off, as there were many patrons sitting outside and ordering flights -- and it took us a while to receive service. When we did get her attention, she did an excellent job telling us about each beer and getting our flights ready without seeming irritated (which a bartender might be after pouring ten consecutive flights). Whoever you were, you were awesome! Unfortunately, the beer was wildly hit-and-miss. The Barrel-Aged Splash Down was a stellar Belgian sour with refreshingly tart notes of green apple, and the 5'o Clock Shadow was a dense, tasty black lager with notes of burnt toast and almond. Unfortunately, the other beers didn't fair so well. The Sweetgrass APA was unbalanced and bitter without any notable flavors, and the imperial stout on nitro ... well, we described it as burnt Guinness in a dirty bathtub. Probably the worst stout I've ever tasted. (However, I've had the bottles of the APA and it is very good, and I've heard excellent things about the Cauldroun imperial stout. But a taproom is where a brewery should theoretically pour the best version of their beers, so ... what gives?) Overall, I'd like to think we caught Grand Teton on an off-day; perhaps their taproom is more welcoming in the busier summer months, and more effort is put into a quality product. But on this day, I came away feeling like Grand Teton is a distribution-first facility that doesn't stake their reputation on their taproom.

The beer is great and there is FREE POPCORN with loads of seasonings to add to your bowl of tasty beer accompanying deliciousness. Friendly folks. Love it!

As small as the modest tasting tap room is, I still have the fondest memories of each visit to this little gem located in little ole Victor, Idaho. Beer is GREAT, and some of the beer label art should be hanging in a gallery. Staff is very engaging and are great at making you feel right at home. I never go through Victor without stopping at this terrific little brewery and neither should you. No food to speak of, but I hear you can bring some in with you.. Lots of swag to be had; I walked out of there with 4 tile logo coasters, beer label posters, 2 logo glasses (Bitch Creek & Au Naturale), stickers, and 2 cases (yes 2) of Od Faithful Ale.

The place is fine, relaxed and casual atmosphere. The gentleman that was there was friendly. The girl that took our order, wow! What a B! She should realize her scowling face is a poor reflection on the brewery. If customers are such a problem, do something else.

What a great brewery. The beers were tasty and the bar staff was pretty nice and welcoming. There's no food here- just a popcorn machine; and man, did we eat lots of popcorn! They sell beers and sodas as well, usually 5-6 on tap and then another on nitro. They were also selling wine from the barrel/keg when I went by, which was interesting (although the wine wasn't that great...) It's great to be visiting and go to such a local's place- there's a chalkboard there showing who's bought whom a pint for the next time they go by. My favorite when we went by was the double bock- we bought a growler on our way into Jackson to drink in the hotel room and then a growler on the way back home to bring back to SLC. I'll definitely make it a point to stop by there on all Jackson Hole trips in the future! Oh, here's a hot tip- if you're a member of the Idaho Falls Ski Club, you get 20% off at all times! Cheap beer!

A great place to come spend an afternoon touring the brewery, sampling beers, and chatting with the brewery staff about the brewery history. They have a pretty interesting story about how the brewery was started and has grown and expanded over the years. The Sweetwater APA was our favorite by far although the Bitch Creek ESB and the Snarling Badger Berliner Weisse were both excellent as well. In the summer there are tables outside where you can sit and enjoy a view of the mountains while you relax. These guys don't serve food, beyond free popcorn, but they don't seem to have any issue with people bringing outside food to eat.

Nestled in Teton Valley just over the pass from Jackson Hole, Grand Teton Brewing is masterfully bringing small craft brews into the spotlight. Not only in this area, but their good libations are now spreading themselves as far as South Carolina to the East and along the West Coast. They deserve the positive attention bc their beers are well-made and tasty. My favourite is the Old Faithful, but that's only bc it has a low wheat content, at least compared to the others they offer. Several of us enjoyed their sampler, which offered 3 beers that are only available at the brewery. They mix these up according to season and ingredient availability. Terrific stuff, especially after a long, long hike deep into the surrounding mountain side. Remain thirsty, my fellow adventurers.
