Great sushi, great service, and a good menu for other items. The sticky rice mango dessert is amazingly good.

fantastic! Really, surprisingly fantastic. Thai food fanatic is completely impressed in this small town nosh pit. Even the sushi is good. Especially the Alaska roll. The thin lemon slice had me worried but is absolutely ingenious! Waitstaff is come and go. Some visits are great and some are a groan. The food is consistent and the curry is really good. They offer four kinds and my faves are the panang and yellow. Best in town. Not too spicy but spicy enough. There are two other places to eat thai in town but we consistently visit Thai nigiri. They accommodate our food allergies with minimal extra charge and I am so thankful they stay open later than most places in town. Parking is a challenge sometimes. Kids meals are a little overpriced for amount you get. Bring a coat, they like to keep you awake by keeping it cool in there.

One of the best meals I've had in standpoint. The portions are huge and the people are wonderful. Service was great too.

Excellent Thai green curry chicken. Yummy! My friend had the chicken with cashews which was so tasty too. My husband and friend told me the sushi was very good. Definitely would go again and again.

This place is a real gem in Sandpoint. Not that there is a ton of sushi to choose from, but still...I'm from San Francisco and have eaten in plenty of sushi spots over the years. For a small town in North Idaho, I am impressed. The fish tastes fresh, the selection of rolls is plentiful, and the service is friendly. Two things really bug me about rolls - when there is way to much rice and they are so big you have to eat one roll in two bites so it falls apart all over the place. This place makes the PERFECT size! I have been there at least 5 times and will be back for sure. I've also taken 2 Japanese folks in who have raved about it. You won't be disappointed. Ooh! Go in for lunch because you get miso and a goyza for free :)

This is the best sushi in Sandpoint, hands down. Uma and Tim the owners are absolutely wonderful, it is very clear customer satisfaction is at the top of their list. The food is authentic and the presentation is great. I would recommend Thai Nigiri to anyone looking for Sushi or Thai.

These folks know what they're doing! These folks care about 1) the customer 2) the food 3) the service...ideas that are relatively rare in Sandpoint. Had wonderful lunch of Miso soup, exceptional crab puff with delicious sauce, three-THREE sushi rolls of my choice with professional, cheerful and prompt service. All for $11.95! Went back for dinner and ordered the soft shell crab with curry sauce and rice. WOW! That was a world class meal I would expect out of San Francisco or New York. The kind of meal that words fail to express the wonderful flavors and textures. This is going to be our "go to" restaurant.

Sandpoint is a great restaurant town and this is a wonderful addition! We plan to visit this place and many more times in the future. This food is delicious and the service is top notch. Our server, Natalie, was prompt, friendly, had a great sense of humor and gave excellent service. We started with an appetizer of a Philadelphia sushi roll and warm mango sake. For our entrees we chose Green beef curry and ginger delight. They were both exceptional! We also enjoyed hot jasmine tea with our dinner. To top off this wonderful meal we delighted in the frozen mochi dessert. All in all, a great dining experience. Highly recommended!

Great! Try the volcano. It's spicy-sweet combination that will have you satisfied. The sushi is super tasty. The lunch special is an amazing deal 3 rolls mix and match and soup for $12. Super nice staff. The owner even came by our table and talked to us.

This place was awesome! The chefs were fun and quick. We sat at the bar and were impressed with the skills. Presentation was great. They have their liquor license now and you can enjoy alcohol with your favorite roll. We will be back.

We had dinner last night and were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing! We ordered pad thai and sushi rolls. Definitely the best in Sandpoint. The service was great and the staff was friendly. We will be back!

Go now! Had the Sushi Regular platter, Unagi Nigiri and Phad Thai. All wonderful. Our tables' second plate of sushi regular was brought to the table by the sushi chef and we were able to tell him how wonderful it was. Wait staff is a little green but was super knowledgable about the cuisine, friendly, excited about the menu and very helpful.

Had lunch midweek and everything was great. Red curry as good as any. Wife had yellow curry and it also was prepared well. The server was polite and on point. I might be grading on a slight curve considering the small town.. I didn't expect to had such a great meal. Clean restaurant. nice decor Good work.

In my opinion this is the best Thai place in Sandpoint- I just hardly ever go because they close for several hours between lunch and dinner (which is when I can go). My only other complaint is that they do not serve fresh (non-fried) spring rolls. However, everything I have ever ordered here is wonderful and made with quality ingredients. Great atmosphere too. Planing on going here again tonight to celebrate my anniversary.

Great sushi with thick cuts of nigiri. Very friendly service and just getting started in town. Definitely worth checking out - husband and wife team were very accommodating.

The Sushi here is delicious. So happy we ended up here. The kids meals were fantastic as well. The staff was friendly & accommodating for our large party. Can't wait to go back for sushi, and looking forward to trying their Thai food.

Amazing Thai food, but slow service. We didn't get our appetizers until after the main dish came and we had to ask for it. I will go again and hope for better service.

Great prices! Great service! Sushi is wonderful for the inland northwest! I must admit I'm there once a week!!

Avoid. Gloppy, flavorless sauce on the Pad Thai and Rama. Little if any meat on the items--and we ordered chicken & beef. My buddy felt queasy during the night after eating here. A whiff of air from the kitchen smelled like old fish.

Although friendly, very neglectful service. We were seated immediately but took 20 minutes for server to take our order. Did not ask us about a beverage and did not bring us water. Asked for water about 30 minutes later from another server passing by but he did not return. About 50 minutes after ordering we got our rolls (good) and Thai rice (meh), but no miso soup and no appie (came with rice order as lunch specials) or our edamame order. We asked for our water again and did get that finally. And asked about the edamame, which she then went to get. When ringing our bill I asked about the miso soup and then was told they had been out for a bit, and out of bowls too, so we were "lost". But not sure why no one could stop by and let us know despite sitting next to kitchen doors with an empty table for almost an hour? She did then comp our edamame, so yes, nice. But ignoring a table for an hour is just bad form.

The sushi is great, the "thai" food tho skip it and go for the sushi. The curries are not spicy at all and are way to sweet, to much sugar. and the stirfrys.... they are like watered-down Chinese food.

The sushi and the pad Thai were an awesome, delicious combo. Ordered the sea food Pad Thai and it was DELECTABLEEE along with the spider roll and the spicy tuna shempura. It just sucks that the sea food was alive when they killed it but nonetheless, amazing food

Feels fancy but kid friendly. Love the tempura veggie sushi. Not sure if sandpoint can get the proper wide noodles for drunken noodles, they were wider than pad Thai noodles but not the chewy wide flat noodles I'm used to. Friendly wait staff.

I've had Thai food all over the world (including Thailand), and while I'm not a connoisseur, I know when it tastes good. And the food at this little restaurant was GOOD. Our dishes were made of fresh, well-cooked ingredients, served promptly and hot, and I like that they don't pander to the uninformed demand for tongue-searing spiciness. Flavors are clear and the heat is subtle and satisfying. And the locals seem to have figured it out: lots of flannel and camo. Love the muzak.

I took my 9 year old here after a soccer game. How refreshing to have this restaurant in Sandloint! Yummy pad Thai and soup. Service was a little slow and the back part of the restaurant is a little dark but other than that I was very happy. PS- I ordered 3 star and wished I ordered 4 or 5
