No wonder Spuds has been around for 20+ years! Delicious entrees and specials with the best burger in town.

I have eaten at Spuds many times. I have always enjoyed the food there. I am especially fond of the shrimp louie salad. However today made me write this review. On a Saturday in the busy summer season we chose to eat lunch there with friends. The first bad sign was that the special board had sold out of every special. Choosing other options we were then informed that they were out of potatoes. Spuds out of potatoes! I haven't seen the louie salad forever. The management really is suffering. I don't know if I will go back.

This place has weird hours. Went for breakfast and apparently they CLOSE between 10 am and 11 am to prepare for lunch. So don't get hungry at 10 and expect to eat here. They were not even nice in informing patrons saying " just so you know, we're closed" after you enter the restaurant. Can't tell you how the food is!

Too bad their sandwich prices rose by about $2.00 each. I loved this place but at $10 for a sandwich- it's now a like and I won't be visiting as frequently.

I thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Spud's. You order first, grab a seat, and a server brings you your orders. I chose the Veggie Santa Fe, and the beau ordered the Chicken Basil sandwich. Although mine was good, I would have ordered his instead if given another shot! They have an awesome patio in the back, so be sure to snag a spot outside if you're visiting in the summer!

Not bad for Sandpoint. Front of the house seemed a little disorganized, but finally got our drink order in after about +10min. at the table. Staff was friendly, but not to knowledgeable about menu ingredients. Had the burger which I'd heard good things about. Very nice tasting beef (from an island outside of Seattle), special sauce, maybe a bib lettuce leaf, some grilled red onion, and tomatoes (which someone ran through the slicer, but forgot to remove the core.) Came with potato chip (Kettle possibly???), but dumped the bottom of the bag on my plate ...50% chip dust. Overall, I'd order the burger again. My guest had the house made gnocchi which was excellent. Saw alot of desserts being left on table. I passed. I will return. (Seemed over staffed creating alot of distracting service traffic.)

The chef dos a great job with menu...unique specials. She has created a beautiful, light gnocchi! Great wine in the tempanillo...enjoyed the lemongrass prawns and cauliflower salad!

Kim was our server and she was very friendly. They close from 4-5 pm to prep for dinner. Monday and Tuesday they are closed. All the prices include tax which is great! Apparently their menu changes based on food availability. Menu is small but they have a big drink menu. The Caesar salad with wild Alaskan salmon and prawns was tasty and the salmon was cooked perfectly in my opinion. It was flavorful and I loved it!! Service was good and so was the food ! check it out !

Oh! That burger with the havarti and GF bun and bacon! Ooo, the tasty masala. And a nice huckleberry cider to boot. Enjoy with a nice waterfront view, blanket provided if you get chilly and super friendly service. We were here about 5 days and went there twice.

Worst service I ever received in a restaurant. It took them almost 2 hours to bring the food to the table. I would not recommend going there during a busy time. And they were trying to comp us ice cream that was never brought out to the table.

Awesome spot! Great food, friendly staff and spectacular views . They even have fleece blankets for you if it gets chilly at night on the patio. Spuds is a must!!

My husband and I have eaten there on numerous occasions. We have recently enjoyed the new breakfast and dinner menu. They definitely go above and beyond to serve quality food sometimes they get slammed and it takes a bit longer but it's totally worth the wait. Although we have never incurred a ridiculous amount of time sitting around waiting. It is definitely worth a visit the huckleberry lemonade wine spritzers are amazing. All of their dressings and sauces have fantastic flavor!

One of my most favorite places to eat in Sandpoint!! Capistrano sandwich, chicken pesto sandwich, and the feisty vegan salad are my favorites!
