A cute family owned sub shop. They're known for their philly's but also have a variety of other menu items. Prices are reasonable and the owners are friendly.

This was a very good cheese steak sandwich. Bread was not quite as good as some I've had in Philadelphia, but hey, we're in Idaho. Good service and mainly locals the day I was there.

Have not been to Joe's for over a year, last time there, it was not that good, But today we went again to give it another chance, glad we did, we split the 12 inch Cheesesteak, and it was great !!!! They did not skimp on the ingredients at all, and it was hot like it should be. Will go back

Excellent grub made by some most excellent folk. You're going here for a quick bite, not to look at the decor. But those quick bites are going to be very happy ones for your tummy. Tried the new Cheesesteak Fries on the special menu... Whoa. Fresh french fries topped with Philly-style beef, onions and (of course) The Whiz. Aww yeah.

Best cheese steak I've ever had! Everything was cooked fresh (minus the bread of course) and the sauteed mushrooms on top were super tasty. Great, friendly service at a great price. And the horse radish they had to put on top was delicious and SUPER hot! Loved it all!

I like Joe's Philly Cheesesteak. The Cheesesteak sandwiches are very good, I like to add the mushrooms and the peppers. The price is decent, but it's resort town; so its not super cheap. I may have posted a photo of the menu in my "tip" review. Their fries are good. The Burger a friend had looked really good. I love their chocolate milk shakes, they are excellent. This is a mom and pop establishment and so it's nice to support it. They were also at the Sandpoint Festival which is a big event.

Outside of Philly itself, one of the best cheesesteaks I have had. Friendly staff and exceptional milkshakes! A must eat at location when in Sandpoint.

This place = Love. Let me tell you, I called about 5 minutes before they closed asking if it would be okay to order 3 sandwiches to go (I know, I'm an as$hole but seriously everything closes early on Saturday which being from California is UNHEARD OF!! WTH IDAHO?). Not only was the lady/owner? a total sweetheart, she was cheerful and remembered me when we got there.https://www.yelp.com/ They don't rush you out, they don't lock you in. They served an additional 6 or 7 customers after their posted closing time, and eventually the cook/owner? came out and talked to our table to make sure everything was good! :D The place itself has an interesting vibe, all oak and a little obvious they haven't had any kind of professional assistance on the layout/signage but just know you're coming here for the food/service and NOT the Ambiance...otherwise it'd be 5 Stars! Joe I guess has since moved on, and this is the 3rd generation, but I say they're doing great and if you need a bite to eat, not only were they FANTASTIC as far as flavor, they were also one of the few places open past 6pm on a Saturday!! WHAT?!?!?

An awesome hole in the wall joint. All I've had is the cheesesteak but that's because it is so good. Always fresh made. A can't miss. Try their horse radish its a pleasant punch in the mouth.

Good cheesesteaks. French dip was also good although the au jus was kind of salty. Very friendly staff. Waaaaaay better than Arby's IMO. We grabbed some take-out to take back to the hotel. Definitely looking forward to going back!

I always get the chicken philly with the works, that sandwich and the friendly helpful staff are what garners the 5 star rating. They also do traditional philly's, hamburgers, teriyaki chicken, great spot for lunch or a quick inexpensive dinner. Good selection of papers to read as well.
