I was very surprised about how great this place is. Simple, home-style food. Get the prime rib! The scones are amazing!!

Like eating in a nursing home. Ate there based on Yelp reviews. "Homemade" salad bar sad and lightly stocked with food out of bags. Prime rib tough and stringy, baked potato wrapped in foil more of a steamed potato, no crust. Not memorable. Fried "scones" that come with dinner are what I'd call indian fry bread, and this was good. Otherwise, not so much.

Prime rib was great. Dinner includes salad bar and ice cream for dessert. Small prime would be more than enough... Couldn't finish half if the large. Prime rib is only available on Fri and Sat so plan accordingly.

Awesome food and wonderful service. I don't eat prime rib at restaurants anymore because people can't seem to cook it right. This prime rib is the best ever!!!!! The salad bar is very fresh and a lot of variety. The salads are all homemade. The scones are homemade and come w/real honey butter. Great prices and laid back atmosphere. If you are in Idaho by the Salmon area, you must detour to Salmon to eat at the 28 Club. FANTASTIC PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An unexpected delight! If you're looking for a good meal in Salmon, ID, this is the spot! Famished and looking for a good meal, we asked a local and his words were, "I wouldn't eat anywhere else". He's right on! Nothing fancy but it's a really nice spot along Highway 28 outside of Salmon. Menu is surf & turf. We went with turf but noticed a lot of others ordering surf. Dinners come with a yummy salad bar, potatoes (we chose baked), "scones" (not your usual Starbucks scone......) and choice of blackberry ice cream or sorbet. We had the blackberry ice cream - delicious!!! So, the meat - saving the best part for last. We ordered a ribeye and prime rib to share. The ribeye was beautiful, tasty and perfectly cooked. The prime rib is the best i've ever had!! They pack it in rock salt, it's cooked perfectly - the tastiest prime rib ever! We've had plenty to compare it to! Horseradish is whipped with cream - nice light touch! Wish we could go there regularly but will definitely make it a tradition to stop there during our annual trip to Idaho.
