Number one, when we entered the diner we had to walk over the hostess sweeping to get in the door. Hostess sat us and we asked her a few questions to which she did not know the answers to. Waitress came and we ordered dinner. Hostess brought dinner to us. Other waitress started vacuuming right by us and around us. Waitress never came to table to check on us. Food was to cold to eat. Our drinks and waters were never refilled. Went up to pay and let then know what had happened, no one seem to care, no apologies. On the way out one worker said in a very snotty way, have a nice day. It is plain that no body in this place cars about this restaurant.

Had high hopes for this food. Service wait-long Food wair-long Water-1 cup Ordered denver omelet. Got a three egg omelet that seemed to be one part egg and 2 parts water. Literally 10 pieces of ham and 8 pieces of bell pepper. That's all. Hash browns were soggy and bland tasting. Best thing was onion rings and those were c grade. Won't eat there again. EVER

Came here expecting small town diner hospitality. None of the food was to our expectation. I ordered a sandwich and clam chowder. The clam chowder was sour and consisted of mainly potatoes. The sandwich had nothing on it except turkey and a gallon of mayo and a small wilted lettuce leaf. My boyfriend ordered the Denver omelet and he was not impressed. The eggs did not have a great taste and looked undercooked. The service took forever considering that we were one of the only ones there. We had a hard time trying to get them to notice us.

The server was great! She never let our coffee cup be empty. All we ordered was a cup of coffee and a scone... The coffee was decent.. What they call a scone is more like a fried dinner roll. It was ok but wouldn't order that again. We will try a meal next time to see how the food is.. The decor is dated but the restaurant is in a small town so what else can you expect..

This place is disgusting. There used to smoking and nonsmoking sections, and they haven't painted or replaced the carpet since long before smoking in restaurants was outlawed. Most of their food is prepackaged and frozen, their coffee is really watered down, and I'm not really sure why this place is still in business. This place needs a serious overhaul, on both their menu and their building.

The scones with honey butter are great. That's... about it. This place looks and feels as old as it is, and is in need of a serious makeover. It's dingy, dark, and has ancient fans and heating units hanging from the ceiling. They must not have been working, however, as we were forced to suffer in incredible heat throughout our entire meal on a really hot day. The thing is, I can totally accept poor looks and even poor temperature control, if the food is good. The problem is, it wasn't. Our party of eight was mostly ignored during our dinner, even though we were literally only one of two tables with guests on the entire right side of the restaurant (I'm not sure how many other tables on the other side of the kitchen were occupied). Again, the scones were great - so great, in fact that they gave the place the two stars, but the rest of the food was bland at best. I had the sirloin tips with noodles. The sirloin tips were almost entirely fat, rather than actual meat, and the noodles were chewy. I chose the the "vegetable" and "salad" as my side dishes. The salad was fine, but nothing that I couldn't throw out of a pre-made salad bag at home, and I was told the vegetable was steamed broccoli when I ordered. Since that was fine, I agreed, but the waitress only informed me that it was vegetable medley after my food arrived. Since I technically ordered steamed broccoli (which wasn't available), I was given mashed potatoes and gravy instead. I didn't pay for our check, so I'm not sure if they were free. Either way, the potatoes were clumpy and almost tasted instant, which is mind-boggling. No one in Idaho has any reason to not use fresh potatoes, so I'm not sure what the deal was there. My boyfriend had the Reuben, which was dry and "the worst Reuben I've ever had. Arby's is better." The fries were basic, but the fry sauce was nasty. Super disappointing.

Not very good. I ordered a club sand which and it was gross. The bread was regular thin bread and HARD. The bacon was also to hard and didn't taste good. HOW DOES BACON NOT TASTE GOOD!?!? I think it was old. Also the food wasn't cheap. I wouldn't recommend this place.

It's just a run down diner. I went for the first time since we've been here (7 years) and was not impressed. Smokey smell, mediocre food, ok staff.

I am not a picky customer by any means but I was not impressed at all with my visit to Me N` Stans. The wait for food was surprisingly long considering that the establishment was basically empty, which maybe explains why all of our food was cold by the time it got to us. Multiple orders were wrong or missing what they were supposed to come with. A side salad was brown and had to be exchanged. The prices are also high for the quality and quantity you recieve. I ordered a plain hamburger and fries for $9. The burger was ok, decent size and tasted fine but nothing special and it came with a small handful of fries, which I'm sure were of the frozen variety. It's hard to justify diner prices for happy meal quantities. Speaking of odd quantities, they will only fill a medium sized glass half way full of water so you have to ask for refills constantly, it's just odd and feels like they are taking every opportunity to cut costs on already over priced food. I just can't see any reason to eat there again. The food and service was mediocre and there is no atmosphere whatsoever or other redeeming qualities to make up for what they lack.

If you're looking for good old fashioned American comfort food, this is a good choice. The best thing about Me & Stan's is that they have a very large selection of American classics. From hot open face sandwiches to huge hamburger steaks to a traditional Thanksgiving-style turkey dinner, these guys have it all. Their lunch menu features some good sandwiches, including a nice Reuben. There is literally something for everyone. They also have a pretty good salad bar and tasty pie for dessert. This won't ever be mistaken for "high cuisine," but it's a solid choice for someone with a hankering for meat and potatoes (although they have fish too).
