The location is quite lovely, riverside with lawns and areas to sit and enjoy the wildlife. The innkeepers were the best....there when you needed them, extremely accommodating and very helpful in getting around the area. Often when staying at a B&B, it can feel a bit too close and make one feel like you have to interact. The innkeepers here placed everyone around the table with attention to private space yet allowing interaction with other guests if one wanted. The best of the best as far as a B&B.... the wifi worked great when we were there......

This lodge is beautiful and clean. Friendly innkeepers. Nice location near BYUI. Natural beauty all around as well. The breakfast they served us was phenomenal. Eggs Benedict and breakfast potatoes. Lots of local fishing nearby. Our bed was large and comfortable. We will return.

The Blue Heron Inn was a WONDERFUL place for us to stay as our son and daughter-in-law graduated from BYU-I last week. It's fantastic location and easy access makes it perfect for anyone in the Idaho Falls, Rigby or Rexburg area to get to quickly, yet, you feel you are out in the foothills of the Tetons. Wow, right on the Snake River. Delicious breakfast BOTH mornings, friendly, clean, beautiful. We could not have had a better time. Staff was SOOO flexible with us on arrival time. Thank you again! This is where we will stay if we are ever back to Idaho Falls!

From July 12 to 15, 2013, I enjoyed the comforts of the Blue Heron Inn's Canyon Suite. Dennis and Sandy Koffel are the most gracious innkeepers. Their breakfast feast welcomes all of the Blue Heron Inn's guests. The lodge is one of the most comfortable, heavenly, and relaxing places around. Thank you Dennis and Sandy for a restful and rejuvenating weekend.

Lovely B&B on a beautiful patch of riverfront land! The house itself is lovely, with lots of personal details to make one feel at home. Breakfast was excellent, making the price for a night's stay even more reasonable. Inn Keepers were attentive but not intrusive. Only negative was that Wi-Fi didn't work, but maybe that was a blessing - who wants to connect with the outside world in such a magical place? Will definitely be back if we are ever in that neck of the woods again.
