Hwy 30 Drive-In serves fast-food; burgers, fries/tots, and shakes. I like this place; it has the 50's curbside nostalgia. You park your car, the servers walks up to take your order, and delivers your order to your window. They do have tables outside as well. Don't be discouraged by all of the other old closed-down motels, stores, and restaurants in the vicinity. --HWY 30 Drive-In is open for business. Stop by to try their milkshakes and help keep this small town alive with your hard-earned money.
We love this place!! Portions are big and the food is great! Try the bubble gum milk shake!
Discovered this joint on yelp! I had the fish burger and my husband ordered and greatly enjoyed his breakfast burrito. The food was good quality, especially for being a small drive-thru in the middle of nothing. Portions are pretty big and fulfilling, neither is us could finish our entrees and side of tots. The gentlemen who works there is very friendly and attentive.

Breakfast for 2 under $20??!!?? It's still possible in this perfect cafe. So glad we stumbled upon this wonderful gem. Brick walls with bright open interior make for a wonderful atmosphere. If we're ever here again we will definitely stop for breakfast or lunch!!
This is not a terrible place, but overall it is just average. i had cheddar brocoli soup and a breakfast order of fried eggs, hash browns and toast. My husband had a sandwich. I have to say that the eggs were cooked beautifully with a bit of crispness on the edges and over medium just right. The interior of the restaurant is somewhat tired.
Stopped in here while visiting daughter at air force base. Best pancakes and omlettes. Clean, good service. Highly recommend!!!

We love the food! My favorite is the schnitzel cordon bleu!! It is a 1 woman show, so don't expect fast! Still very authentic and personal & delicious! If you have a big party call ahead. She will accommodate, it's just a very small business, but she loves cooking! We have called on special occasions giving her a heads up, wanting her to make her German chocolate cake! Your tastebuds will be happy!!
The schnitzel cordon bleu is delicious! The restaurant is cosy. It's like having dinner at home. The owner is a really great lady. :)
Now had lunch and dinner menu. Truly a one (German) woman show with food like your grandma would make. Good value and good food. Charming and unique.

Stoaked Frozen Yogurt & Sandwich Bar

A great little find in Mountain Home. More than just a custom sandwich shop, they allow you to physically build it yourself, like you might at a salad bar, and put as much or as little of each ingredient as you want. The sandwich bar also serves as a salad bar or a make-your-own pita pizza bar. Each is priced by weight, and there is a small oven and a grill behind the counter where you can have them toast up your creation to your liking. Similarly, there are various flavors of frozen yogurt for dessert. You dispense your flavor of choice in the amount you desire, and then apply your choice of topping yourself; also sold by weight. I'm not a frozen yogurt consumer, so I defer to others in that area. But I was pleased with the sandwich bar selection - multigrain bread, mushrooms, spinach, olives, jalapeños, and of course a nice selection of meats, cheeses, and all the standard veggies, and a wide array of dressings that go equally well on a sandwich as on a salad. I'm so glad to have a healthy (and tasty) local option for eating out when visiting the family in Mountain Home!

Really nice folks, great service and the food was just right. Good choice after a long day driving.
Maybe our bartender/server was having a bad day and her attitude and poor drink mixing skills certainly showed that. Mixology 101 would suggest that anyone can make a tequila sunrise...especially on Cinco de Mayo. Amber, from her name tag, needs an attitude adjustment and proper training on her mixing abilities. I also noticed the smerky remarks towards other customers when the juxbox wasn't performing as expected when she was asked to help out. Meh, I've experienced better...
I LOVE THIS PLACE :) when my friends and I go out to the bar we always end up at Kurlys at 2am to eat there biscuits and gravy lmao. So damn good when Ur drunk hahaha. There waitresses can be kinda snippy, but hey who likes dealing with a ton of drunk people hahaha

Let me start by saying that I would give this zero stars if I could! Worst dining experience!!! The food was actually very good, but the service and outcome of our experience ruined the entire thing for me. My family and I ate here because I had purchased a certificate on restaurant.com . I purchased this because it was the only restaurant in Mountain Home that was a valid participating one in this town. This was a bonus for us because we don't always want to drive to Boise to eat out. After eating, my husband gave the waitress, Danielle our certificate. Before she even glanced at it for a few seconds she so rudely stated, "We don't accept those." What do you mean you don't accept them? The certificate clear as day states that it is valid at Los Pinos Restaurant, 815 S 3rd W, Mountain Home, ID 83647. We were told by this rude waitress and Ines, an owner who doesn't know how to run a business, that they have no idea how the restaurant got on that site and they've been "trying" to get it taken down. I asked them if either of them have called the phone number for restaurant.com and spoken with someone. Here's the kicker: NO THEY HAD NOT! They also stated that I wasn't the first to come in with one of these certificates. So they supposedly have been trying to get this restaurant taken down for over a year, but have not actually talked to anyone to do so. This whole thing was outrageous. The staff's behavior was ridiculous. If a customer comes into your place of business with a certificate that has your business name on it then you should honor it. Their attitude was extremely poor and I hope they do something to clear this up in the future. I suggested for them to put a sign on their door stating that restaurant.com certificates would not be accepted even if they're valid and the response I got back was, "Well we used to have one on the counter." Okay, but clearly that hasn't helped. First, the sign isn't there anymore and second, you're still having this problem so DO SOMETHING TO FIX IT! The owner went on to tell me that she works 14 hours a day and the meat is so expensive. Great, but that doesn't do anything to help your business. If you're going to run a business, you need to learn to serve your customers. If someone went into a store with a gift certificate and then was told they couldn't use it, I guarantee that would cause problems. Well this is the same concept. If this problem has been ongoing for over a year, the owner is clearly not trying hard enough to get it taken care of. And then telling me that I just wasted my money on the certificate because she refused to authorize it was icing on the cake, really. Horrible, horrible service. The owner and staff are a complete joke. I would not be surprised if this eventually went out of business. The only reason I could see it staying afloat is because Mountain Home is a hole that doesn't really have a lot else to offer. I would give this place zero stars if I could.
This place is one of our favorites, we live in the area and eat here often. The food is good authentic Mexican, the three amigos with choice of meats is a great plate! The wait staff is always friendly and will help guide you if you want to try different dishes! Quick service with a smile!
A decent, small restaurant that serves typical Mexican American food. Like most places their menu was missing lighter fare. They only provide one refill on drinks which are so packed with ice as to make them a slushy. Save yourself the money and just get water instead of a soda.

I love the set up....order your food, take your seat and they call your number soon after. Fries are great and the salsa they have is super fresh. Lots of things to choose from which makes me want to keep going back to try something I haven't had yet. Lots of seating too!
Eat here while traveling thru. A bit off the beaten path but worth it. Food was good. Had a burger fries(not greasy) and a shake. Music was TERRIBLE and made us want to leave ASAP. This is the only reason why I give it a 4 instead of 5.
First time customers today. Food was great, big selection and lots of variety. Prices were reasonable and the time from ordering to getting our food was very good. Can't wait to try some different items from their menu!

Tried to call for delivery, and said the guy said he "can't do delivery" as it was 45 min before closing. He asked if I wanted take-out, then said "fuck it" and hang up on me. Had a friend place the take-out order right after, and he was short with her, but took the order, telling her to get there within 25 min or we wouldnt get our food.
Pizza was not bad but salad was from two days ago ( however it was decent) and there were a ton of flies inside! Gross! People were friendly and the beer was good! Alaskan white beer! Yummy! Best Part of meal!
Now thats a pizza. We got a restaurant.com deal and stopped in on our way home from fishing in Nevada. What a nice surprise. We got a large pizza and it was 20 inches across. Pizza chains dont even make it 14 inches. The chains could learn a thing or two from these guys. Everything on the pizza was fresh fresh fresh. We dont even live near Mt Home but I will make it a priority to stop by every-time we are near Mt. Home....Great pizza at a good price...VERY HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS....KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FATTYZ

3 of us at a nearby campground ordered different things from the menu for delivery to our campsite. Delivery was timely and all 3 diverse items were very good. We called in a pickup pizza order a week later and it was very good.
Ordered two pizzas and two desserts. My bill came to 51.17. I was told my pizzas would arrive in 45 minutes. An hour and 1/2 later (after calling and complaining to the manager) my cold pizzas arrived. Long story short, things were not resolved to my satisfaction that night. However, I received a phone call AND message the next day. They really care about their customers which is rarely heard of these days.
