ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My family lives in Jerome and every year when I visit them, I have to go to China Village! The food there is spectacular. They have a mix of American food and Chinese food. The service is great and the meal size is bigger than you can imagine. My absolute favorite dish to order is the MONGOLIAN BEEF. I live in New York City where there is any type of food you can wish and have but all the Asian restaurants I have tried with Mongolian beef cannot compare to the one in China Village. Every time I'm craving Mongolian beef, I cannot get rid of the crave until I slowly forget about it. I just wish there was a China village in New York City. The proportion size of the food is incredible, especially with the non-expensive price. When compared to the proportion size of the food I get in New York and the price I pay, its like comparing a king size bed with a queen size. I love New York's diverse food but some of the dishes from China Village are so rare to find in New York. Their take-out and delivery is fast. The salad bar is not as big as a buffet but has everything a buffet would have. And when I asked for the brand of their thousand island dressing, they told me it was home made! I could not believe it. Every time I have a salad now, I always think about that home made thousand island dressing. Overall, service was good and the food was amazing! If you're ever in or passing by Jerome, take some time out to try this restaurant out! You won't regret it!

I cannot adequately describe my disdain for this place. Oh. My. Word. Never, ever have I gone into a dirtier, more rundown restaurant. I'm honestly shocked by the other reviews- I double checked the address just to be sure we were talking about the same place. It smells like feet and something else I can't quite put my finger on, and would probably contract some sort of illness if I did. Then came the food. The chicken chow main was.... How can I even describe this? It kind if resembled translucent- you know what? You're on here looking for something to eat. I'm going to save your appetite and just skip the description. Just spare yourself and don't go here.

Only ate here once and will NEVER be back again the wontons are horrible... they literally have a dime size of filling in a deep fried 4 inch tortilla chip that is almost burnt need I say more?

Guys who said it was amazing was mistaken. It is only barely acceptable. I'd go to Burger King next time.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
