Loved our waitress. Friendly and happy to help with our requests. Great place to stop on a road trip, as we did. Big portions, especially the meat sides. Largest sausage patty I have ever seen, and my husband had a huge side of bacon. French toast was delicious. I had egg over easy, biscuit. All cooked perfectly. Got a slice of pie to go, coconut cream and it was delicious. Perfect. They had at least 10 pie varieties to choose from. All looked great. Would go back anytime.

Above average food and service for a roadside diner. You get the usual burgers, sandwiches, turkey, roast beef mashed and gravy like you expect. Rolls are made fresh daily, the pies are exception, and the French fries are a full 5 star perfect.

Pie. They had pie. Yes, pie. 9 varieties of pie. It was like the shrimp guy in Forrest Gump naming them off - the list kept going. Did I mention they have Pie? Ima come back here. For pie.

Been coming here for over 30 years when I'm in the area if you like the ma and pa type of place this is for you, in a small town like this you don't survive for decades like conner's has if you're food isn't any good don't remember ever having a bad meal here ya the side salad is a little small and yes the finger steaks a little greasy but overall absolutely delicious will continue coming back as long as they are here, the food is like something that you would prepare at home rather then the overpriced under portion no flavor food at the chains that have taken over

Really good hamburgers. The fries were fresh and homemade. The bacon in the burger was thick and delicious. Highly recommended.

I give it 3 stars Cuz I thought 2 was too low but 3 is stretching it. I ordered a bacon cheese burger. Due to the fact that the review before said the burgers are good. Well the bacon is super thick it tasted like they just cut it off the pig in the back.it was really fresh I had a piece almost 3/8 of an inch thick. The burger wasn't all that great the bun was kind of greasy from the patty. The burgers come naked. So make sure you ask for sauce on them if that's how you like them. The fries were fresh cut and good. The waitress was extremely nice and personable. The restaurant was clean and clean smelling when I went in. The bathrooms were well up kept. Also my order came very quickly. This is the best of the very few restaurants that sit RIGHT on the freeway. Good parking for trucks also.

Worst food ever! Would have been better going to ANY fast food place than here! On a road trip with our 2 grandchildren. Got there at 6:30 and they were out of the turkey, roast beef and most of their listed pies, although server didn't tell us that until we ordered and we were told ", oh, were out of those!!". Wanted hot turkey but instead had to order fried chicken. Pieces were so overcooked they were chewy and dry. They were also so small that it looked like a small game hen instead of chicken pieces. The side salad was a joke. Portions are extremely small. Husband had chicken fried steak. Was just as bad. I don't eat much but I was still hungry when I left. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Came here looking for some good Idahoian breakfast with the family. Ended up with some of the strangest tasting meals we've had. French toast was eggy (not in a good way) like the eggs were old. Chicken fried steak tasted like it was sitting out in the sun for a few days. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

It's a favorite pie stop. The food is pretty basic but good rural American classic style. Someone mentioned in another review that the tuna wasn't great. I didn't try it, but as a general rule don't order the seafood unless you can see the ocean. Eggs bacon pork chops and a favorite side of pork are good breakfast items with the homemade biscuits. At lunch the potato salad is great and homemade.

Not a lot to choose from in this area. We were hungry, and after reading the reviews we stopped in to eat. I had chicken fried steak with gravy which was not bad. My husband had the hamburger steak, it was horrible. My soup, beef noodle, was pretty good. The apple cobbler was pretty good. The waitress was very friendly.

Was in Burley this weekend to watch husband and friend at the Spudman triathlon. We stayed at Super 8 next door to Connors so decided to give it a try for breakfast. Typical diner breakfast but homemade biscuits were pretty good. The best part of this place is the small town hospitality. Patty was so nice and helpful and Kelly, who made the pies was great and showed us each pie she made for the day. We tried the oatmeal pie and it was probably the most delicious pie I've ever eaten! Even if you just stop in for a slice of pie, definitely give this place a try!

Great cafe food. Anything you order has the taste of homemade cooking. Family ran near small town Paul/Burley. If you're in the area it is worth a try but make sure you leave room for pie. Delish.

In case you're traveling along I-84 (perhaps on a road trip like we were), you won't want to miss Connor's Cafe. A humble exterior hides this 5 star pie place with homestyle cooking (which we did not try) inside a Kitschy Denny's atmosphere with moderate prices. We tried the coconut cream with a firm rich lovely layer of meringue on top of heavenly coconut cream-- truly THE BEST coconut cream pie I've ever tasted! And, the cherry pie -- with a sweet crust and tart center was perfect. They offer about 7 types of homemade pie, for $2.65 a slice, and none should be missed! :)

My boyfriend & I love going to new restaurants. We were looking at the weekly newspaper one day, and had seen a post of Connor's Cafe and how good it was. So, we decided to check it out. We walked in to a not so updated cafe. We seated ourselves, and waited for the waitress to come by. The service was quick, but the waitress could have been a little more friendly (earning her a bigger tip) We ordered our drinks, a lemonade for myself, and a coke for my bf, to my surprise, my lemonade tasted like water, and the coke, had no gas. It was not a good start, as we looked at the menu, there was not much of a variety. I ended up ordering marinated chicken with breaded shrimp, french fries, and a salad, my boyfriend chose fried chicken, french fries, and a salad. Our salad arrived first, it tasted like they had bought a a pre made bag from the grocery store, shortly our food arrived, it had no flavor, luckily there was salt and pepper, at the table, still the food was not great at all!! So we decided, to ask for the bill, and leave. I would not recommend this place. follow me on flyingbuttons.blogspot.c…

Yuck. My friend and I just had dinner there. My tuna salad was just a can of tuna dumped on a bed of iceberg lettuce. The french fries were stale and had no flavor, and the chicken sandwich was just a piece of unflavored chicken wedged in a white bread bun. The crackers were the highlight of the meal.

It's all about the pie. And a little slice of life along with the pie. Super friendly staff and cute little gifts too. Great place to take a quick break from the highway.
