Amazing corn cakes!! Man I'd be in big trouble if they came to my home town! Hubs enjoyed the Shorty's skillet. Thanks for the warm hospitality and happy tummy! Yum!!

Great customer service but food was kind of bland. Definitely add salt, pepper, and the seasoning spice that's on the table if you want some flavor for your scramble. In response to inquiry, I had the sausage scramble with sourdough toast. Thank you.

Hailey is a lovely little town. This seems to be its most popular (only?) brunch spot. I ordered the eggs benedict, and was disappointed: the eggs were dreadfully overcooked, and the service was inattentive--our water glasses needed refilling and the waitress never asked whether we were alright. It was only when we _flagged_ someone down (the owner?) that I managed to get a replacement for the eggs benedict, which was ... still terrible. They refunded the price of my non-eaten meal, but I consider the ability to make eggs to a particular consistency a key competency of a breakfast/brunch place, and it seemed to be sorely lacking. Plus one star because my dining companions found their meals edible, if not particularly good.

My family and I decided to stop by and have a bite to eat as we were passing through Hailey. Sadly, none of us liked our meals. My mom said her food had a metallic taste and my dish- the veggie omelette with potatoes and toast, all tasted like it was quickly thrown together as everything but the egg was slightly undercooked. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he said that he kept having to add salt because it had no flavor. I'm hoping we just came on an off day or that if it is always like this, that they step it up because it is quite a cute little place and you definitely walk in expecting much more.

Generic Denny's type food. The reason for two stars is because the food was ok and the location, building, and atmosphere are welcoming. The menu is limited to your basic diner options, but at a more expensive price, because it is in Hailey, Idaho. I had chocolate chip pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and sausage. The pancakes tasted like the processed make at home Betty Crocker kind with generic chocolate chips. The biscuits and gravy were decent, but mostly gravy and a mediocre biscuit. The sausage was good and paired well with the gravy.

True to the five star rating....just about or as good as it gets...stepping back in time to the 1950s style diner....(other than the microwave that is behind the counter...(probably should hide it)....stopped in for breakfast and was presented two eggs over easy (as ordered) a full slab of ham....awesome potatoes...half a loaf of toast (wheat as ordered) and coffee.....It seems...that an ordinary couple could split one meal....unless you are a trucker or logger...no way you could finish all that food in one sitting...The waitress was very pleasant and attentive, topping up my coffee and asking us if we needed anything else on a regular basis. Would stop in again for another meal!

I am a huge biscuits and gravy fan but this one sort of disappointed. The gravy was sort of sweet. It was odd to say the least. However, the bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection. I will be back but not for the biscuits and gravy.

Pretty good breakfast, good sized meals. Service was great. It was busy, but still prompt and helpful. Set up like a 50's style diner. Coffee was good, also. I would eat here again. Price was just fine. Under $10 a person with drinks.

I've never been so excited to arrive at a restaurant, but biking 12 miles to get there will do that to ya. It's a family restaurant so I was surprised to see no changing table in the bathroom, but then again that seems to be the norm in this area. I really enjoyed the huevos ranchero I ordered and Baby R was super excited about her pancakes. I tasted them (or maybe ate half of them) and agree they were pretty good. My husband and father-in-law weren't as excited about their breakfast burrito, which gave them both a bad stomach ache...not so fun for the 12 mile bike ride home. Worth biking 12 miles to get to? Probably not, but an OK choice if you're in the area.

Great 50's style atmosphere and good service. I had a chef salad. Entire salad was pre cubed small portion of processed meat/s. I hate food that must come out of five gallon frozen buckets. I travel A LOT and expected much more from a great old style cafe. My partner was with me and had a 'so so' sandwich. I'm all over the western cities of every size and location. Don't give me it's near Sun Valley Ski Resort so it cost's more and you get less. I live near the finest Olympic Ski Resorts in the country in Utah. Normally a lunch for two from a 'good ol boys' diner would be in the $20 range and would have more than enough quality fresh food. Guess I prefer real strips of meat on the salad rather than those tiny kinda taste like meat mini cubes of boloney type 'something'. Meal was $25.00 (25% more money than average for a small town old cafe) Portions were easily 30% less Quality AT LEAST 30% less I am there just 4 times a year but will mention the fact to many.

Great 50's theme diner in downtown Hailey. Had a chef salad and it was large and in charge. Very fresh. Service was amazing. The owner was friendly and very engaged with ensuring the customers were getting what they needed. Also had a patty melt with cheese on it and it tasted great. Black/white/green/yellow checkerboard tile and lots of 50's era car bumpers up in the wall. Check it out! The servers were awesome, very attentive. It was nice to be able to talk directly to the owner at the counter. Very friendly and very hands on with ensuring his guests are taken care of. Fun place to visit, great food, great location.

I really dislike "seasonings" on hash browns, or that 'grill-fry' stuff that has been used for yrs to turn potatoes crispy & golden ... very suspicious stuff !! Makes whatever is served w/ it taste bad. The coffee didn't help either. The waitress did a careful job with what she had to work with, but I'd keep lookin'.

Did I just walk into the Back To The Future movie set.? I expected Marty McFly to pull up a seat beside me first time I was there. Lovely, 50's style dinner with all the comfort food you would expect. I usually just ate breakfast there as I found it the best place for a full sit down breakfast vs. just grabbing a coffee and scone. And you never know who may be behind the dark sunglasses sitting beside you. By the way, I did meet Marty McFly a couple of times, but that was another time and place.

Neat little corner 50's like dinner. Stopped in for lunch. Good greasy spoon. Had mushroom Swiss burger w/ onion rings. Rings were great, burger was acceptable. Nothing to write home about. Cheap eats, good, fast friendly service. Would go back again next time. Heard a rumor that Bruce Willis owns this place and sometimes is behind the flat iron flipping pancakes?
