If you ever find yourself in Hailey, Idaho... The fish tacos are really good. I regret only getting one. The grilled fish itself was almost bigger than the soft taco shell itself. The creamy salsa that trickled down the side of the red cabbages was excellently paired. The chicken burritos are also very good and go down well with the bottled salsa in the salsa bar. Probably the best "Fresh Mex" in the area.

Good food and friendly service! We got the build your own burrito and really enjoyed the grilled tortilla and fresh ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and was well seasoned plus they had plenty of vegetarian options other than just beans and rice, including tofu tacos and burritos! My son thought his quesadilla was really good but would've liked more cheese.

I give this 5 stars because at $25 for two people including a beer your expectations would be justifiably low....however the food here is exceptional. My fish tacos were amazing, the fish tender and juicy. Karens quesadillas were a lesson in simplicity and less is more with just chicken, cheese, corn and cilantro on board they were bursting with freshness. Had the chips salsa and guacamole to start and this was all home made freshness. I have paid a lot more for a lot worse food than this place.

I don't understand the rave reviews for this place. It was below average in our experience. The quesadillas barely had any cheese, the pork was dry and lacking flavor, the fish tacos were mostly cabbage, the shrimp tacos consisted of a few pieces of overcooked salad shrimp and loads of cabbage. The "cabo sauce" tasted like pink mayonnaise and the salsa had little flavor as well. The enchiladas were not rolled but flat like a quesadilla with the tiniest bit of cheese on top and a green salsa, no sauce. Even the rice and beans, normally one of my favorite parts of a Mexican meal were uninspiring, and the only meals that included them were the enchiladas. How they have 3 locations and are opening a fourth is beyond me.

Best fish tacos or salad. Fresh, clean, outside seating and cerveza! I'm stopping here again the next time through.

Great food came out very quick. For folks from a bigger town: kB's burritos are better than chipotle burritos at a very similar price. Great place to stop for lunch for a quick bite or a place to enjoy time with friends.

If you're ever remotely close to KB's, its worth the trip. Being the only high quality Mexican restaurant around, they get a fair amount of business, but you rarely ever have to face a crowd. Their food is delicious, prepared fresh, and they use great ingredients!! A must have is the 'R&B salad'

Loved the spicy seasoned refried beans! Chicken enchilladas and shrimp taco were really good! Open til 9:30pm is a plus! We were in SV for a trip and asked friends about a good "late night" place to get food for our drive out. This place was good, affordable and on our route!

A good place to get affordable gringican in Hailey. I like to go here before catching a movie in Hailey or going to the Albertsons. I recommend the ketchum burrito. You get a pretty good sized burrito for around 6.50. They also have good fish tacos.

The most expensive and boring burrito I've ever experienced. It was either the Hailey or the Ketchum. It was about 90% rice and beans with a few chunks of chicken and specks of the other ingredients. Every bite tasted the same, no bites with exciting flavors. I will not be back. Blandtastic. Maybe you'd do better building your own. Oh the salsas sucked too. Not spicy and just not very good. Ugh.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
