My girlfriend and I went here one day while running errands. The food was good and the restaurant is clean. If you want more authentic mexican, the restaurant across the street is said to be more authentic. I don't know if we will be back, my girlfriend wasn't particularly fond of it.

I brought my two daughters this evening for dinner. We ordered a dinner combination meal of 3 chicken chimichangas that we split between us. It was plenty of food and tasted great- and the price was very reasonable! The restaurant was very clean and I liked that they gave us a pitcher of water so that we never had to wait for a refill. Service was fast and friendly. Would come back.

Was here for a 2nd time this year. It is just excellent. The chairs you sit in are comfortable- and beautifully made. Besides that, the place is clean- the restaurant and bathrooom! The Servers are kind, patient, and willing. The food, extremely reasonably priced, delicious, and generous. Overall a great place and worth returning to, and encouraging others to visit!

I LOVE Mexican food and this small mom and pop retaturant was excellent! Welcoming and friendly. Well kept and clean. The food was very good. No complaints. I got the tostada and my son the shrimp burrito.... YUM! If we lived any where near here we would be back. Sadly we live in southern CA.

I have decided after 15 years that my husband has burnt me out on Mezican. This review will be a combo of what my family liked and disliked. They start the meal with pickled cabbage, salsa and chips along with water for everyone. Husband had the mole chicken enchiladas he said it was great! The kid's menu has 4 things on it. We ordered the burrito and split it between our two girls. They ate it all and had some of my beans and rice. My meal was okay. I ate most of it without any trouble. I did however find it extremely salty. But take that with a grain of salt, I all of a sudden can't handle salt like I used to. The restaurant appears clean and the bathrooms are clean and well stocked. It is great for large parties. Has an extensive lunch menu, beer, wine and some speciality drinks. Whiel Mexican may not be my thing anymore, I know we will go back because everyone else loved it.

Charming, cozy, cute decor. Friendly staff, prompt service and very tasty meal. They have bottled beer (no tap) and wine. No mixed drinks unless you want them virgin, great for the kids. Would definitely eat here again.

My fiancé and I were visiting my mom from California and went to this restaurant. From the very beginning we were pleased. We were greeted and seated with a smile. The food was amazing. I had Camarones en salsa verde (jumbo shrimp in green sauce) and fried banana for desert, so delicious! My mom loves this place too!

Not taco bell by any means. A clean, well managed restaurant with a broad menu. The food was authentic and I'll give it an A. We will certainly revisit.

This place is fairly new and the best Mexican restaurant in the valley. Prices are good, food is fabulous and service, impeccable! We haven't had a bad meal and will return every time we visit!

Being from San Diego I'm a little spoiled with all the good Mexican food there but...this place was pretty bad. I ordered the beef taco salad & my husband ordered a combo plate with a cheese enchiladas & beef tacos. First off, my taco salad...ewww. The shell tasted old, barely any lettuce, beef so salty I wasn't even sure it was beef, sprinkled with cheese and a scoop of guacamole & sour cream. It was the worse taco salad ever (Taco Bell would have probably tasted better). My husbands beef taco had the same meat & he was not very happy with it. Prices were really cheap, so I guess you definitely get what you pay for here :(

We were very happy we chose this place in this small town. The atmosphere was friendly and colorful, and the food was surprisingly good. We got the fajitas, and they were delicious. The meat was amazingly flavorful. Would definitely recommend.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
