Stopped in here because it's across the street from our hotel. What a great find! Excellent food and a decent happy hour wine! Our server was Danielle and she was excellent! We had the pretzel appetizer, flat iron steak and fish tacos. All great!
Tasty and creative menu, local beer, friendly staff I tried banh mi sliders, the burger, fries, and grapefruit beer!
This place is delish! They actually gave me too much salmon which never happens!!! It was pretty slow and I think it's just the location. They had great live music, good beer and prices weren't as expensive as downtown.

Great little bar, great bartenders, generous drinks, low prices. Pretty good crowd most nights, with a good mix of young to middle aged. One of the few bars left that you can still smoke in while enjoying your drink. The jukebox is run off of the internet, which means there is really no limit to what kind of music is played, everything from heavy metal, techno, pop, R&B to country. They are a CASH ONLY bar, there is an ATM in the bar, but it is worth it to just stop at the bank and get your money before you get there.

Came here after landing from the airport, starving. I always knew CdA had some good food, so everyone around me recommended this spot. These guys have "customer service" down pat with extremely friendly service. I knew I was in for a treat, but not this amazing. Here what I went for: Watermelon shrimp ceviche - are you kidding me? My tastebuds were pulling triple backflips while eating this. Will you guys also ship some to California? Ha! El Mexicano chicken sandwich - straight up one of the best sandwiches I've had as of late. Convinced they sprinkled some crack on this to make me come back. Absolutely delicious!! On the way out, I noticed the head chef and proprietor had 2 diplomas, yes two, from the prestigious Cordon Bleu culinary school... And just like that - they completed the trifecta in my book: service, bomb food, diplomas. I have another 6 days here, I'm sure I'll be back before I leave to LA.
The food was spot on. Like, really delicious. El Cubanito, I'm salavating as I remember it. Get it. 3/5. And here's why: I walk in around 2pm (closes at 3pm)... decently busy, hoppin' joint. I walk up to the counter and see the display case an almost empty bowl of quinoa salad left, there's a couple styrofoam containers in there... In my mind, I'm think, this is a place that pre-makes all of their sandwiches and when they're out, they're out. The man at the register is busy, but rambles on and points out what's left in the display case. Granted, he has an accent, and I can hardly understand what's going on. So I ask him, "So that's all you have left," he replys, and again, can barely understand what he's saying. After a little back-and-forth, we finally get to the point where I realize I can order a sandwich, made to order, as they usually do. So that was a relief. But then, he asks ..."
Awesome tortas! We had a cubano and a Mexican and both were delicious. The star of the show in the sandwiches is the meat - both the pork and beef were cooked perfectly! Hisbiscus water was refreshing! The owner was friendly and explained the menu. Love supporting the local shops. Come early, we arrived at 1:45pm on a Friday and some salads were already sold out.

Hidden Gem in the lake city. The owners are knocking it out of the park. Great variety of craft brews, knowledgable servers and plenty of delicious heathy choices on the menu.
Really good food and the Golden Mile was pretty yummy. Customer service was also great.
The best brewery in Coeur d Alene. The beer is cold and wonderful. They bar far have the best food of any pub in Coeur d Alene. Try the bacon with toe beer. It is amazing. The service is impeccable and the owner are great!

Had an outstanding meal at Satay last night. My wife and I in from DC, visiting her mother. They've both been to Satay, but it was my first time. It's a very nice, quiet, intimate place. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the food, and gave us some great suggestions. The mother in law had the Chicken Satay, which was great - the peanut sauce with Sriracha was fantastic. And she loved the pork chop. My wife has to eat gluten free (celiac), is allergic to fish, and eats vegetarian. She asked the chef to make up a gf vegetable plate and received a wonderful veggie plate with Gorgonzola mashed potatoes, carrots, parsnips, and a bunch of other vegetables. She loved it. She and I both had the butternut squash soup, which seems to be their signature soup. It was creamy, a little sweet, and very delicious. I had the sea bass spoons - sea bass, with a bit of red onion, and a really nice sesame oil-based sauce. Excellent. Finally, I had the shrimp & scallop abruzzi. Fresh made black pasta (that morning), with nice big tiger prawns, and scallops. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the pasta was wonderful. The sauce was slightly spicy, and just perfect for the dish. Sadly, none of us had enough space for dessert, a real bummer because the bread pudding sounded amazing - next time we go I'm definitely getting that! If I lived in the area, we'd eat here often. The meat is all organic and local, and the produce is local. The drink program is interesting, unique, and refreshing. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. The setting really nice, and the background music is in the background, not blaring like many places do today. And the prices are reasonable. Just a really great dining experience! Really looking forward to the next time we visit!!!
Just off I-90, we stopped here for dinner while passing through from Montana to Washington and were so pleasantly surprised! The restaurant has a diverse and interesting menu, American and Asian influences, and a great ambiance with a unique bar and lighting, and a wine cellar with dining tables. We ordered the peanut chicken satay (delicious), lobster wontons, one of the ahi appetizers, and all were good. For dinner we had the ahi salad and tiger prawn salad which we both enjoyed and all dinners come with a homemade bread loaf, served warm and soft, drizzled in a dill butter (superyum). The bread pudding desert, although non traditional, was excellent! The topper to the wonderful meal was the great service. We will dine we again if we are ever in the area.
Delicious food, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Friendly, intelligent service.

Looking for a great sandwich and soup, go to Herbie's. Sweet owner, great food, service, prices and nice story behind the business. I had a cup of Chowder and a tuna sandwich, custom made with all the fixings including yummy horseradish sauce. If you are in CDA and feeling hungry, check out Herbie's...and don't miss out on a cup of chowder to start!
Tried the Reuben and the chicken avocado. Both were top notch and the service was very attentive.
Went here for lunch today. I had the triple decker club and my wife had a half Greek salad and cup of clam chowder. Awesome. Food 5/5 Server 5/5 Speed of food delivery 3/5 (only had one person making sandwiches) Our server was soooo friendly and checked on us multiple times to ensure our experience was the best. We will be back!

Fabulous food, prices and service. Had omelette and super stuffed hashbrowns. Patti our server was fast friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!
The place was clean, the waitress was hustling all over the place, it looked like she was the only one here and yet our glasses were alway full and it did not take long to get our food even with a bunch of regulars in the place. At first it seemed like she was rude but when I stopped and paid attention I realized she was just busy and trying to take care of everything fast and efficiently. The food was really good my wife had a steak breakfast and was cooked perfect and had a seasoning on it that was really tasty, usually a steak in a place like this is unflavorful since it has to appeal to several types but this was good. I had the loaded hash browns and it was good...normal hasbrowns though and would have been better in my opinion with home fried type of hashbrowns but they were not skimpy on the loaded add in items and we liked their tea just wish they served it in bigger glasses but then I am used to tea in the Texas hill country. We will definitly come back. Normally my wife makes me leave the tip because she is cheap and does not like to leave much unless the food and server were to her liking and today she left a 20% tip.
A great find off the highway. Perfect for a warm breakfast with lots of choices. Very affordable.

It was busy - and get this, you sign yourself up on the wait list. Very reminiscent of a small farm town restaurant, which I guess it is. My husband ordered corned beef hash and it was killer. He meant to bring some home as leftovers but that didn't happen. My omelet (a northwest or pacific omelet? something locally driven) was filling and unique and awesome. We LOVE supporting local businesses and the quality is outstanding.
This little farm-to-table spot is great! This was exactly the meal we needed after a week on the road. I had the northwest omelette (delish!!) and my boyfriend had the delectable Hayden omelette with tomatoes, avocado, bacon, and cheddar cheese. The coffee was good even by PNW standards, not to mention plentiful-- the waitstaff ensured that we had plenty of caffeine to gear us up for the last leg of our trip. Be sure not to miss the homemade lemon curd!
Good service and good food. Has a nice little patio that was nice to have breakfast on such a good day. The menu has some standards but really has some unexpected items. A little off of the beaten path but worth a stop in.

The beer is just ok. No food but you get all you can eat peanuts. You can order food from the nearby Bistro on Spruce. Save your money and go to the Daft Badger on 2nd street. The beer is much better, as is the food.
A great brewery. If you're visiting CDA a must visit.
