Grammas was the only resturant that I could eat at due to food allergies and it was perfect. The prices were really reasonable and the food was YUMMY. My ex-husband, his wife and their 2yr old along with our daughter celebrated her sweet 16th birthday there and it was great. We're visited our daughter because she's away in Cascade for school and we were not rushed out (celebration lasted 3hrs). I ate there a total of 4 times and only 1 staff member wasn't too friendly. Everyone else, was. The staff person working 6-9pm on April 11 was AWESOME. She had about 7 tables at 1 time, was friendly and pleasent to everyone and even had toys for the little guy. The salad bar was my favorite. Fresh, clean, many choices, and very healthy.

The kids menu really doesn't offer any healthy options. If you want fried food and the indigestion that comes with it, this is the place to be. The salad that was served with our meals was absolutely drenched in dressing. My finger steaks were alright, not the best I have had and the fries were very soggy.

Stopped in on the way back to Boise this morning....Yelp reviews were some good, some not so good. Place was clean, food was good. Prices very reasonable. The reason for the 3 rating was for service....young waitresses did not seem to care about anything, no personality, like she was just working there and cant wait to go home. Older waitress on site seemed much more personable, but she wasn't our waitress. Also, it took forever to get our food and it was only moderately busy, but by no means packed, lots of empty tables, so would assume we would not have a long wait. Other than that, it was OK.

Very slow, but friendly service. Edible and inexpensive "meat and potatoes" food. The five people at the table next to us, who seemed to be local regulars, took advantage of breakfast all-day. That's what I will do if I ever need to eat in Cascade again. The homemade pie and ice cream makes it all worthwhile.

If you're rolling through Cascade you need to stop here! Try Grandpas Special and their hot chocolate....and any pie! Huckleberries are rarely found on the east coast. It was a sweet treat to have them in a delicious pie. The waitresses and owners are friendly and welcome out-of-towners!

Been here a few times and my experiences have been okay. Going in the morning or brunch/lunch you're sure to have quite a bit of wait time since it seems to be their busiest times of the day, so expect service to be slow. Once the morning and lunch crowd have disappeared, their service is much better. Their food is okay. It's actually the best of its kind in Cascade, considering that there are only three other restaurants in town. In the mornings I usually get omelets, which are almost the same as any other place. For lunch I've had the ground beef with mushrooms/onions and gravy and boy was it delicious. Overall, it's a small town restaurant with hot, homemade food.

We were on our way to McCall on a Sunday & stopped here to eat. It was packed, but we waited to see what all the fuss was about. It's a nice little breakfast place (I'm sure they serve other meals, too). We did the typical breakfast fare, eggs, sausage, pancakes and everything was fine. It was good. I'd stop here again.

My family and I stopped by here on our way back from McCall. It was clearly a busy day for them. We waited nearly 25 minutes before we heard our order was "almost ready." Once we received our food it was so-so. Nothing special. The service was alright. I don't think we'll be revisiting.

Stopped for BREAKFAST (lol) at 7 PM (yes PM) after passing Burger and beer places for hundreds of miles! My meal and server were EXCELLENT. Fellow diners very friendly. I'm putting this place on my visit list while driving up and down the state!

Eggs Bendict and Country Fried steak served up cafe style in a quaint one street town. Every true Idahoan knows the stopping point between Payette Lake and Boise is Grandma's for Breakfast.

We loved Gramma's! In fact, staying a week in Cascade, we visited Gramma's at least 6 times. They have a great menu, serving breakfast all day. The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. I highly recommend a stack of blueberry pancakes with a side of crispy bacon and a hot cup of coffee, mmmmm.

I first visited Gramma's over 15 years ago when I first moved to Idaho with a friend and it was great. Ever since then, I've gone and it's always good. This weekend we were staying in Donnelly and went both of the days on our vacation. Sometimes the food comes out a little slow depending on how busy they are but they service is great and the food is always excellent. Highly recommend Gramma's Potatoes which are hash browns with onions, mushrooms, peppers and cheddar cheese served with salsa and sour cream with a biscuit or toast. Their biscuits and gravy are also amazing. The biscuits are fluffy and large with great flavor. The gravy is rich and has no flour taste.

We usually hit the Banks Cafe on our way up to McCall but they were closed, so we stopped into Grammas. We had tried one other time to get in but they were packed. Usually a good sign. I had a veggie omelet that was tasty, but it had too much cheese on it. That would have been okay, except it wasn't real cheese, it was the processed squares like velveeta and it just absolutely sticks to your teeth. I've never been a fan of fake cheese; I'm not suppose to eat it, so when I cheat I like it to be the real deal! Hash browns were the jullienned type but are hand cut not frozen, so were pretty decent. All in all it was okay, your standard breakfast fare. Tasty but nothing to write home about. They must please the majority though as it is usually very busy. The waitress could have been a bit more helpful and familiar as to what was in the omelets. When asked what was in the Spanish omelet, she replied "I not sure, spanish people?" Oh that mountain humor! Gotta love it.
