I am mystified at the other superlative ratings given the experience we had last night. Let's start with wine: we ordered a bottle. On the way to the table, the teenager carrying the tray dropped two wine glasses which shattered on the floor. Long delay while she cleaned up the mess. THEN she only had two wine glasses left for our group of four and said there were no more wine glasses. Really? Only two wine glasses in the whole restaurant? So two of us got to drink out of water tumblers. The Mediterranean salad was topped with green olives instead of dark, and the greens were bagged Spring Greens from the supermarket. Nothing remarkable here. Steak and Frites were tasty as was the side of Bearnaise sauce. If only all six entrees for our table hadn't arrived stone cold. One of my pet peeves is having to bid on my dinner when the addled server stands at the end of the table and says, "Now who had the steak?" Is it such an impossible task to note who had what on the ticket so the auction can be avoided? Mocha Cake for dessert was probably good.....last week. It was so stale it sharded into crumbs when touched by a fork. I suggested carbon dating to determine its true age. Finally, the ultimate error: the "server" rang the wrong credit card with the wrong ticket. The couple with the $49 tab was charged $164. The foursome with the $164 tab was charged $49. Only our monthly statement will reveal if the "server" was unable to unravel this error correctly. We went up to see the celebrated lounge on the second floor. Our group of six sat at a table, waited 15 minutes to be approached, then gave up and went home. Pretty building in desperate need of dining room training and supervision. Total time for simple dinner: Three hours.
What a pleasant surprise. Everyone had a different meal: steak, pork chops, burger and chicken parmigiano (days special). Dame for desserts. Coming back tonight!
Great! The steak was perfect and the burger bacon-y goodness. And the waitress was awesome:) I can't wait to eat there again!

Good authentic Mexican food. Usually very busy. We order out from here a lot. Recommended.
Best Mexican place in town. If you want to experience authentic, this is the place to go. There is a reason why El Patio has bee open for many years and has a good standing with the local community. I highly encourage anyone to try a burrito and or the tacos. Regardless of what you get I'm sure it will be 5 star quality.
We've been hearing about El Patio for a year or so and we finally made the trek over to West Liberty. It was totally worth the trip as they've got the best classic and Americanized Mexican we've had since I moved from Central Washington! A group of 4 started with some tacos for an appetizer. Very similar to Michoacana in Iowa City, but the tortillas are better here. The list of meats isn't as exhaustive, but it's more than you'll need and they are incredible! It's the sort of place you take a bite and then high five your waitress. For a main course my better half had a Chimichanga - the first decent one we've had in 4 years! The folks here got the memo that cheese sauce doesn't belong on this Mexican delight! I had a chalupa and an enchilada to test the classic waters - there was no looking back. When I took a bite of my chicken chalupa, it was like happiness had laid a golden egg in my mouth! The enchilada was also a delight - key point, pork is available, but you have to ask for it. A carnitas enchilada is straight up Boss. As with Michoacana, the attached store has everything you need, if what you need is Takis, a Pinata or some Margarita mix. Truth be told, we bought some sweet bread and it was a nice ending to a great meal! Totally worth the drive to check this place out. Incredible food made by folks who actually know how to make it.

Nice sized subway, great service, and a nice chain in a very small town. Happy to Have it here . I am sure we all had subway by now, there is a local rumor that this has "better, fresher, and tastier" ingredients. Only had it once, will be the judge of that.
