This place has amazing food and service. Their nachos are to die for. Love the atmosphere and the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because sometimes its not as busy as it should be on the weekends but that's only because Waukee is still growing. Other than that, I love going there for food and drinks.

Me and my family go to a new restaurant every month. This was our pick for December. When I got in there it was empty. Only three people were in there. Granted it's a bar and this was a Thursday. So it's a good place to drink but not to dine. The appetizers were average. I had a buffalo chicken pizza. I could not eat one bite because the server regretted to inform me that blue cheese was on it. So that totally ruined my meal. Not recommended for food, only drinks!

Mickey's is alright. You're not going to get the best food in town here, but it's standard bar fare. My kids dig it - they're kids, what do they know? They make really good Mules, though. No doubt about that.

Fun , " Cheers" like atmosphere, the staff are fast friendly, great selection of bottle beers, and perfectly poured Guinness as it gets. Good food. Go give it a shot! Or have a shot!

Great food, good prices and friendly service. They also have bands on Saturday nights, no cover. I've spent lots of time here and have never had a bad experience. If you like Rueben pizza they make one of the best.

Have eaten here more than a dozen times. Service has been pretty good on all but a couple occasions. A few good beers on tap and a nice selection of bottled beer. The food quality is certainly adequate, not outstanding, but not bad either. Had Nachos show up cold a couple times. Menu is your typical US pub food, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, wings, nachos, pizza, etc. Burgers are decent, and the Paco Pork Sandwich is good. At some point in the future (if they put more emphasis on food quality) I could see this going up to a 4 star rating. If you are hungry and want to stay in Waukee proper, I'd say go ahead, you should have a decent meal.

I've eaten here many times and was never disappointed. One of the few places left on planet Earth that doesn't charge a cover fee when they have live music. Friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. It's our "go to" when we are in Waukee.

All in all a really good place. The smothered fries were amazing, as was the cheese bread. We had good service, couldn't really ask for more. Only negative things were flies flying around (we sat close to the door maybe?), and the burger was drier than I wanted...

Music, atmosphere/people, service all good. I would go here to drink for sure and to hang out. I really do detest Waukee but since I'm along for the ride sometimes I have to endure this suburb lol. I was pleasantly surprised to see young professionals my age hanging out there too. Now onto the food! Two of my friends who moved to Waukee said Mickey's had great bar food. We have very different ideas of what great food is however so I was hopeful but expecting crap. Basically, it was just ok. We ordered some good spinach and artichoke dip, which was really tasty actually. I then ordered the ruben, suggested to me by my friend who had it the last time he came. I ate half the sandwich because it was so greasy and the thousand island sauce was mostly ketchup. Good waffle fries though. I had a stomach ache the rest of the night and into the next day from that meal. Stick to the appetizers.

I went here for a friends birthday. We went on a day when they were swamped with people. The waitress was really good to us all night and found us a table right as we got there. They have a full bar and delicious food. Their garlic cheese sticks are amazing and a meal unto themselves. Also this place has amazing ranch sauce. Are friends got a pizza and everyone kept saying how good the food was.
