Favorite restaurant in charlotte by far. Food is amazing. Best curries I have ever had. Prices are extremely well prices. I've been to Thai basil and Thai taste, and they have nothing on this place. And this place is a quarter of the cost. Place is small giving it a cozy feel. You don't feel like you are eating at a chain like pf changs.

BEST PIZZA EVER!! I'm not kidding; you can't ever get pizza as good as this! I have never craved food before but I found myself wanting this every night! The cheesy breadsticks are delicious too. Casey's Pizza is the ONLY thing I miss after moving away from Iowa.

Best Mexican food I've ever had and I go out of my way to look for the authentic stuff.
THE place to go in Storm Lake for authentic Mexican food. Arrive at 11:50 for lunch and you'll miss the long lines. 4" fresh tortillas for your made-to-order tacos. My favorite is pastore, an I'm an Anglo. There's a chain taco palace in town, too. You really wonder why.
Wonderful portions, delicious food and very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.

Great Mexican food and friendly service. I recommend it to everyone who visits.
A great place for lunch or dinner drinks with friends. They always give you a good amount of liquor in your drinks:) Pollo loco is incredible, as is the dessert sopapillas! I recommend if you are in Storm Lake and in the mood for Mexican food.
Typical Mexican menu. Food tastes fresh. Large portions. Salsa is ok. Wait staff was great about filling our water glasses.

This is rated 4 stars because yesterday day we are there and we had to ask for parts of our orders. I ordered a meal that came with a sundae and they brought it late. My brother ordered a malt and they forgot it! My dad asked for extra pickles on his burger and to them apparently extra is one... One pickle. We had to ask for a cup of them. They also forgot to give my mom her tarder sauce.. Twice! The food was good in all and we went home happy.

I've eaten here half a dozen times in the last month, but today will be my last. I ordered something I hadn't tried before off the menu. It was awful, I couldn't eat it, but I'll chalk that up to my general aversion to Midwest cuisine. I casually asked the waitress to bring us another appetizer which I enjoyed. I put the original plate with two bites out of it on the table's edge. The waitress came to clear the plate and asked if I wanted a box, I told her no thank you. A this point I am still satisfied although a little miffed the waitress didn't ask about the uneaten meal. As my lunch companion is eating her meal, she sees a fly legs upon her plate mixed in with the veggies. I posted a photo for other yelpers. She pushed the plate to the side. The hosted came by and asked to clear plates/glasses. We showed her the fly. She said "all I can do is say I'm sorry" which struck as a a strange response almost like it was rehearsed. We stopped eating. No one asked about our meal at the register, but in suspect they knew how we felt. I did not get loud, create a scene or ask for anything. I even left a good tip. But I won't go back.
Outstanding! Couldn't find much info online but this is a place that wuold do well in any setting. Great soup, appetizer and steak. Chef obviously wants to please and works hard to bring real food to small city America. Not afraid of anything on the menu. Will be back many times. Sean F
Good food, good service, and yummy pie/cheesecake selection. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals. They were price right, tasted good, and arrived quickly. The only bad thing on the plate was the garlic bread, it was so hard it was inedible, but I wasn't that interested in it anyway. Kid's meals were very inexpensive, I think my daughter's hot dog was like $2.75. We ordered a key lime pie and oreo explosion pie to go and they were both really good! If we're ever in Storm Lake again we would eat here again.

Great view, great food but terrible cleanliness in the dining room. We ate here for supper on a Friday night and had the newest wait staff ever, but they were friendly and trying hard to please. I was very disappointed when we came back for Saturday lunch that some of the food was still on the floor from the night before. This place has good food for a good price and a great view. Much better than any other place in storm lake.
Great place to eat. Loved sitting and looking out at the lake. We had Chicken Bruschetta sandwiches the homemade chips - so good. AwNuts burger with fries - good and a nutty twist. Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp - very good, a lot but will be great warmed up. Appetizer - CoCo Nutty Shrimp - great starter!! Will defiantly going back when we are in the area.
Good, but nothing special. Probably wouldn't have even eaten there if it wasn't part of the hotel and so convenient. The menu is limited and there is no kid's menu for breakfast. Nothing really appealed to me on the menu.

We took part in a family function dinner in the back banquet room. They had the tables set up in long rows. Only 2 servers for a group of about 60 people. Thought service would be slow and poor, but it was just the opposite. Very impressed by their attentiveness. I had a bowl of beef noodle soup ($4.09) and added a grilled cheese sandwich for $2.25. Soup was tasty. Grilled cheese sandwich was decent. My mom had the chef salad ($6.99) which she liked. My brother had the 12 oz. prime rib special ($16.99) with mashed potatoes and gravy. He said it was good and was cooked as specified. His dinner came with the unlimited salad bar, which was just comical. The options were just lettuce, cottage cheese, croutons, macaroni salad, and dressing! There were lots of items on the menu. I'm sure there is something here for everyone. Not a bad meal considering there aren't many places to eat in Storm Lake.
Beware: 5 star prices for 1 star meals. There is huge profit for restaurants that serve breakfast. There is NO reason why restaurants should gauge people and not serve a reasonable portion size. We spent the weekend at Storm Lake and this breakfast was by far our most expensive meal and we are having to stop by a fast food place to full our stomachs. After sitting down at a booth and not getting any menus, my husband got up and had to get our menus. Many other tables came in after us and we were the last to get service and only because we asked about getting service. We had to ask for coffee 2 different times. When the menu states 'biscuits & gravy', a customer believes the 's' on 'biscuits' mean plural but not at the Lakeside restaurant. It actually means only 1 normal size biscuit. I ordered a half order of biscuits & gravy for $3.99 and got HALF a biscuit. A full order cost $5.99 and must only get 1 biscuit. What a joke. That is what false advertisement means. My young son ordered a pancake with blueberries and it cost $4.50 for 1 pancake and $2.79 for a tiny portion of hashbrowns. My younger sons omelet came out wrong and had to be reordered. How does a restaurant screw up a cheese omelet?! My husbands hashbrowns were not cooked all the way. They were still cold in the middle and not crispy at all. They could not be eaten. Do NOT order coffee. It tasted like hot water. Our hotel had better coffee for free. This was by far the worst meal we had while staying in Storm Lake. I did not think it was possible to screw up breakfast but the Lakeside Restaurant proved me wrong. STAY AWAY!!!
I used to be a server here, they keep the place pretty clean and they try really hard to keep everything fresh, tidy and presentable. It's a great place to eat, food is typical of a family restaurant. Nothing too great, but overall you are getting what you pay for

Meh. Figured the disgustingly dirty bathroom might mean that they are working so hard to make awesome food that they have no time to clean ...not the case. Basically tasteless.

This place is scared to turn the light on inside and out and they don't have food unless you want a frozen pizza or popcorn. I would not t go back. Also The bartender totally ignored us I was there with 3 girls and we were all thirsty and ready to have a good night but maybe if I had brought a flashlight and a whistle we might've gotten served
