Great Prime Rib, Good crab legs, Great Mushroom Caps (appetizer), Walleye Cheeks (appetizer), Good Salad Bar, Great Wine (Innspiration Vines), and Great service and atmosphere. I'll be back and will bring people visiting town here to enjoy the great food from this local place.

Was awesome back in 1985. Is still exactly the same. Needs a serious remodel. Food is above average. No way the "prime" rib is really prime. Most likely select rib eye or choice at best, but definately not prime. Had very little marbeling.

We ate at the Prime Rib our first night in town. Showing my friend around town. I got the Prime Rib and he got the Rib Eye... Both amazing pieces of meat!!

I go to Spencer once or twice a year. If I could I would eat at the Prime Rib every night. The prime rib is slow cooked perfectly. Don't expect a lot of extras. This is pure beef. Not covered in sauces or crusted in various herbs etc. I travel extensively and despite my efforts I have never found prime rib like this.

My mom discovered this place in a super-saver last summer on our annual vacation to Lake Okoboji. By far, the most fabulous steaks and prime rib we've had in the Lakes area. Salad bar, which comes extra for a nominal fee, was AWESOME...they even had pickled herring on it which made myself, my dad and my husband happy. Service prompt, attentive and friendly. Chairs were more like over-stuffed lounge chairs. Bring your appetite!

This is the best place in Spencer to have a "fancy" meal. The food is always great, the service is wonderful. Just a great place, I have never had a bad meal here and I have been going for years

best place in Spencer by far to get a good meal. Ate here on two back to back nights, one night was prime rib for me and my companion, the next night I had panfried Walleye. Both nights the food was cooked very well. Wait staff was very attentive and we never had to wait. The only bad thing I can say is I don't know if the salad bar is worth the extra money over a regular salad if you only go to it once.

I was extremely disappointed when I went here for my Birthday. I had the prime rib and my friend had a filet. Hers was great but I had to send my prime rib back twice (something I rarely do), our baked potatoes tasted like they werent cleaned properly and overcooked. I'm not sure if it was just an "off" night for the prime rib, but they have a long way to go to compete with top notch steak houses in the big city! Overall the service was great, the salad bar was decent. 2 and a half stars because the service and my friends filet were their saving grace.

If I had to make a guess I would say this is the classiest lace in Spencer. The food was great and worth the price. I had the Lobster & Prime Rib (Surf & Turf ) is was great. The staff was pleasant, to bad we could only go here once.
