I've only been to Minervas for lunch but I've been doing it once a year for 15 years. I've always enjoyed everything I've had...usually the pick 2. 1/2 a sandwich and a salad. Always good. Service is a little slow but we always have a large group so understandable. I'll be back next year.

The food is insanely delicious! Unfortunately the service is sub par. Recently we had brunch there, again delicious food and a great price. The waitress was terrible. We arrived before our guests and ordered water while we were waiting. Lucky we did as she never returned for our drink order. Never explained the brunch process to our guests who had never been there. Never offered coffee at the end of our meal. She just showed up with the check and picked up a couple plate. Awful service is too polite.

Love this place for their Sunday breakfast buffet. The food on the buffet is amazing and they also usually have a few lunch items for the late breakfast and into lunch. Have ate their for dinner as well and was pretty good it's the place we go to if we're craving pasta.

I've been to Minerva's twice for dinner on week nights. Service was very good. The ambiance is a subdued-lighting sophisticated nautical theme. For appetizers, the shrimp and lobster fondue cannot be beat! It's the best hot dip I've had. The calamari is also delicious. For dinner, the carbonera flatbread pizza was flavorful but on the spicy side. Flat bread is almost cracker-like. I've also had the grilled salmon with risotto cakes. Nice flavor but the salmon lost a lot of moisture through the grilling process. For dessert, the tiramisu is incredible - don't miss it. The lemon curd tart is ok. I found the crust too hard and the filling too runny and the flavor just too sour (and I am a lemon lover!).

Minerva's used to be one of my favorite places to eat but it has seen a steady decline the past several years. Each time the wine list is shorter and menu is different, but no better. The atmosphere is a little on the loud side and would be nicer if they played something other than the local Rock station. The steaks remain one of the only redeeming qualities of this establishment but can be found for more reasonable prices elsewhere.

Out of a table of three, all three meals were dry (chicken and beef). We had to ask for proper cutlery for the meat -- only a butter knife was provided when the food came. The risotto was over-cooked and looked more like soup. Not a great experience at all. Would never go back.

I had a salad for dinner which was nicely prepared and more than abundant. Certainly I would order it again. Staff was very hospitable. Atmosphere became an issue for the server when she tried to accommodate an older couple that was seated at the next table. They had originally wanted a booth, but none were available. So the lady wanted the lights dimmed. Of course, the lights above every table, except theirs, dimmed. It was like they were in a spot light and the rest of the tables were in the dark. What do you say? While not a big deal, certainly detracted a bit from my meal experience. I hope the older couple had a romantic evening.

So, I am staying at a hotel close to the restaurant so I decided to walk over. I had the chopped quinoa salad with salmon. It was not very good. The combination of flavor in the salad was disappointing and the vinaigrette was terrible. I did have the tiramisu for dessert which was a redeeming choice; very good! I would come here for the great, quiet atmosphere and nice view of the golf course.

My husband and I wanted to treat ourselves to a classic night out and decided on Minervas at Arrowood Resort. We both had a filet cooked to mid rare. On the positive, both our steaks were cooked perfectly to temp. Unfortunately everything was severely under seasoned. Thankfully this restaurant has salt and pepper on the table and with one taste if the food I understood why. My steak was an Oscar and while the crab was authentic there was barely any there. The hollandaise sauce was flavorless which was actually probably a good thing because there was hardly enough there to cover the top of the steak let alone the asparagus. The dinner came with a choice of side and I foolishly went with the "garlic" mashed potatoes. Again absolutely flavorless. Butter, salt and GARLIC would have helped tremendously. Overall when spending nearly $100 for dinner and cocktails for two I would expect much more.

Minerva's is one of my favorite year 'round nice restaurants in this area. I like the interior decor, and always love the meals. Great Thai chicken lettuce wraps, and they have a bottomless Italian dinner salad that is excellent.

I was staying at the Arrow wood hotel and thought it would be convenient. It was pasta night which meant an all you can eat pasta buffet pretty much. I don't really have anything negative about the actual food or wait staff....more on the price. I paid $14 plus tax and tip....$18 or so for all you can eat pasta??? And really, who can eat more than 1 or 2 big plates of pasta? If it was $10 it would have been worth it. I would have rather went to pizza hut and got a pizza and pasta buffet for $12 or whatever it is.

Could be so much better. Understaffed; hard to get someone's attention, hard for them to deliver it. Minerva's must be counting on the captive audience from Arrowwood. Mediocre, but necessary.

A great time had by all at this vaguely Italian steakhouse. Judging by accounts from around the table, the prime rib was great, the chicken was great, the pork was great, and the fish was pretty good, too, which is saying something for this neck of the woods. Nothing especially inventive on the menu, a limited if reasonable wine list, and mediocre espresso, but great service in a great setting made for an overall experience worth repeating.

Last night I went out to dinner at Minerva's with my friend and son who is 10 months old. My son is very well behaved and several elderly couples complimented me on his behavior. The food was incredible and I would add reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food you get. I am from San Diego, CA and have experienced countless "nice" restaurants with really great food. I like dining out for the experience over the food. The reason I only rated it 2 stars was because of our waitress. Her name was Cindy, but I didn't actually know her name until I received my check because she never actually introduced herself to us. I don't know if she just doesn't like kids, or assumed because I am not retired yet, that I am incapable of tipping her well. Either way, she got my drink wrong and I was so intimidated by her snide remarks and attitude that I never asked to get it fixed. She rolled her eyes at another baby and commented on the baby's mood. When she returned our checks with payment she said we could just "put our signature on it" in a voice that led us to believe she didn't think we would tip her. Looking back, I should have talked to the manager right then and there. If I ever return, I will be requesting a different waitress and will probably leave my son at home and just take my husband. Maybe then we would have a decent experience.

Pasta night (Tuesday) is the only time I will eat at this place! Pasta night gets 4 stars but the rest of the food is awful. I've had close to everything on the menu there because I basically lived there for 7months for work.

Nicest restaurant I've found in the Oko lakes area. Nice views of the golf course (snow in the winter). Good selection of food - mostly American, with some pasta optoins. i had an excellent sandwich called the Bacado, which is a fancy turkey sandwich, and bowl of tomato bisque soup. The soup was very tasty, and the sandwich ingredients were high quality. They are open year round, which isn't the case with many restaurants in the area. I have family in the area and visit every year or so. Minerva's is consistently good.
