I love this place! The food is delicious, I've never ordered anything I didn't love and the customer service is top notch! We have ordered from here several times using the delivery option each time, which always makes out to our house in less than 15 min. On one rare occasion we had the wrong entree delivered to us, we called and they immediately delivered the correct entree. The next day we got a phone call from the manager apologizing to us and credited us free entree to our account (after already fixing our problem). Tonight we ordered again and used our free credit, when the delivery man got to our house (10 min after the order was placed) he apologized again for the mix up from weeks ago. They really know how to take care of their customers and we will be loyal customers for a very long time!

I think ownership has changed and they have either changed or eliminated the meals that were so good in past years. I had never had Cashew Chicken that tasted better than what they served before the ownership changed. I may try it one more time, but otherwise, I think the place may not be worth going back... very disappointed with the changes

It appears Yen Ching's has changed ownership after 34 years. New smaller menu and new recipes. I tried their Kung Pao chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Both ok, but I will miss the food and the owners I've come to know over these past 34 years.

Literally the worst Chinese I've ever had. The eggdrop soup has no flavor. I asked for only a side of eggdrop and my eggdrop was larger than my entree. The egg rolls were okay, but the wrap was kinda weird on them. The crab rangoons tasted like the smell of the pig barn at the Iowa state fair. It did not taste like cream cheese at all, let alone the other things meant to be in a crab Rangoon. The beef and broccoli was good, I will give them that. I won't ever eat here again though.

Have ordered take out several times from here. Your orders are made pretty quick while you wait. The food is pretty decent for Chinese food. I've eaten in more Chinese restaurants across the country than I can count and I'd put it in my top 5 list.

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese place in the area. I no longer live in Marion, but I have to stop in every time I am in town. The cashew chicken is excellent.

Great food. It is honestly better than many of the slow sit down place. If you give them 10 minutes your order will usually be done. They have a rather sparse dining area, but it works. The staff is friendly and has yet to screw up an order. They will go the extra steps to make off menu items if you ask. Aka they make an amazing orange chicken. I am amazed how many people screw up orange chicken. Only one bad thing. Do you have to have a smelly fish tank right by the counter? Maybe move that against a wall?

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
