Another great Indian spot in Fairfield. I had the full meal, but the smaller meal option would be plenty of food for almost anyone. There's a daily menu, so check out the options of the day to see if they have something that sounds good to you. If you have any questions, just ask the helpful staff.

wonderful spot for lunch. soups, sandwiches, salads. seasonal menu, fresh ingredients, fun and cozy, fancy but not uptight. they are usually very busy, and you might have to wait for a table but it's worth it. the owner, Nicholas, is usually there, and he's very friendly and accommodating. many enjoyable vegetarian options. the quinoa burger that they make in house is unbelievable! It comes with some fresh made tzatziki sauce on top of it, and I always order it with the fresh kale salad that is massaged with lemon juice. classic! one of my other recent favorites is the butternut squash burrito. the sweet walnuts and the sour cream mix with the black beans, quinoa, and squash to create a truly inspired burrito. I'm drooling while I'm typing this. and if you have a sweet tooth, they have a bunch of naughty treats, cookies and cakes etc. that they bake in house. I highly recommend making a stop at the Gardens next time you are in Fairfield.
EXCELLENT veggie burger, awesome hazelnut coffee (only place in town that has it! ) deserts are dilishhh! customer service is a bit slow but perhaps thats the pace in this town... they are pleasant corteous & friendly.
Best burger I've ever eaten... AND ITS MADE OF QUINOA! Not even beef but it's perfect

Restaurant is very nice, and clean. The chalkboard wall in the booths are a nice touch. I ordered the salmon over rice with black beans and peppers, and I t was delicious. The crab cakes we ordered for a starter were very good as well. The service was friendly and attentive. We will be back.
We drove in from Ottumwa heading to Minneapolis and stopped in for Sunday brunch. The selection was pleasantly interesting and the food itself was great. I believe you will enjoy it!
Obviously a chef who is highly capable of preparing quality food made from fresh ingredients. Gluten-free pasta was cooked perfectly (a rare accomplishment in public dining). Balanced flavors + clean presentation. Wine list carefully crafted, as well. Alicia (server) was pleasant, polite, attentive, and helpful. Food-awareness: Bravo !!

What a great addition to Fairfield. I loved their bacon cheeseburger and their house made potato salad. There is always a crowd so be prepared to wait but there is always a nice group waiting with you. There is also a great selection of beer. The four owners seem like wonderful people. We will return.
Building is VERY small, but luckily features both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and attentive. Drink list had a nice variety. The burgers were cooked to perfection! They were flavorful, juicy, and tender. We also ordered the buffalo wings as an appetizer, and they were delicious as well! We will definitely be back, and you should go to!
I'm generally not very big on burger, but.. Boy! Their burgers are delicious!! The beef patty was tender, juicy, fresh and everything. It redefined burger for me.

A must-try place to eat in Fairfield IA! based on the excellent, savory, fresh, clean taste of their food, the prices are cheap! soooo worth every penny of it. The lady at the cashier was extremely sweet and friendly. It is an absolute laid-back, inviting, casual atmosphere! two thumbs up!
Not great, not vomit inducing. I went around lunchtime so maybe their dinner is better? It's not a 5 star restaurant for sure.
I have tried their buffalo burger many times. It is hands down the best burger I've ever had. Amazing burgers in a laidback environment. The price also seems fair for what you get. I highly recommend Doc's....by far, best burger in Fairfield and the surrounding area!

Usually you don't want to eat anything cooked in the same place you can buy Skoal, but this is the exception. The tenderloins, when fresh, are awesome. Not so great when they sit in the warmer for an hour. The pizza is great too, and an excellent value. It defies God and actually gets better in the warmer. Weird. I recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger or the Taco. Just don't call and ask for delivery. They hate that as it doesn't exist. Also, save your pizza box coupons for a freebee.

New management...even better cooked, tastier food...served on an authentic Indian thali! Staff is friendly and do their best to accommodate all requests!
The food is very pure, delicious and nourishing. The restaurant is a little funky but one quickly accepts it after experiencing the delicious food and the good effects after.

Very friendly staff, front entrance is filled with huge tequila bottles, great decor and free candy. The menu has a large selection and their burritos are the best in town. Don't go anywhere else for Mexican food!
Great meal! Service was prompt & proactive. Food is terrific - I had the Hacienda Fajitas special (chicken & steak - no shrimp). Delicious. Prices are very fair. I'd definitely go back again!
I really like this place! It is very affordable and the staff is very friendly. I've gotten take out and eaten in and both were done in a very timely manner. Food is good. Not California Mexican food good but good, nonetheless. I eat here very frequently.

Amazing food and presentation.
Love their Firecracker sushi! If you have not tried it, you must. They are kind of expensive for Fairfield, though.
Staff was attentive and friendly. She was great with giving us suggestions, as this was our first time; her recommendations were delicious. I would definitely forward on her recommendation to try the rice balls! I'm giving four stars instead of five because our order took 45 to come out, even though there was only one other couple present, and they came in 20 minutes after us.
