Friday at lunch time 11 AM. There was at least 5 other tables here. There only seem to be one waitress to take seat, take orders, drinks, bring food, and etc. I came with three other people and had to ask for everything from water to dishes and silverware. We got our drinks at least 15 minutes. I can see other tables were not getting anything either. Waitress was doing what she can to help each other. It wasn't until another guy came out and started assisting. Here is what we ordered: Chicken wings - 4 small chicken wings which were fried crispy. Crab rangoons - 4 medium sized rangoons with okay filling. A lot more filing compared to other restaurants. Egg rolls - 4 came in an order. They were greasy and soaked with oil. Must have not been fried in hot oil. Beef salad - very authentic, but spicy. Very similar to larp. Be sure to tell them spicy level. I do love spicy and that's something they get right. Pad Thai - probably best dish we ordered. Right amount of sweetness. Red curry - this was decent. Not thr best, but not the worst in DSM. Glad they put Thai eggplant which is a plus. Overall food was authentic, but service lacked. Even though it was busy our food came in decent time. But be prepared to ask for everything you need. I will come again if they improve their service.

Hidden gem and probably the best Thai food I have had in Des Moines. I give it only 4 stars because of the customer service. The two of us sat down and were only given one menu. I grabbed another myself. Once the meal was served I had to grab us or own napkins as well. The food was incredibly fresh and so good. We had the egg rolls and I had the pad Thai. You can order from 1-10 on how spicy you want the meal. I was in awe on how much flavor there was. This place is extremely affordable. I will be going back.

I just noticed this place about a week ago and was thinking, "This location has been so many different businesses yet I've never once set foot inside!" I'm usually pretty burnt out on Mondays,(because of working in the service industry all weekend) so I didn't feel like leaving the house for food. This place is just down the street so I figured I'd look up a menu and make my boyfriend pick up some food. Looked online and couldn't find a menu anywhere (sigh). That's okay just throw some clothes on and go. So we get there and the parking is odd. We had no idea where to park. Both my only complaints, and both really no big deal. The food here is pretty outstanding. Don't let the exterior or interior fool you. It's a very small and clean restaurant. Vegans and vegetarians will even have no problems finding an item on the menu they will enjoy. Just ask for tofu or veggie only. The waitress was also very friendly and our take out was quick. Red curry with tofu is amazing, and don't miss out on the spring rolls!

This is down one star because of our waitress disappearing throughout our meal. Other than that everything was perfection. It doesn't look like much on the outside but inside is a quaint little clean place. Food was to our table quickly. Fresh and hot. Panang curry and pad Thai were fabulous. Wontons aka rangoons and spring rolls were good. service other than our waitress was good. We will definitely return. Stop by and bring a friend. Spread the news about a local lovely and be a patron for life!

would have given them 5 stars except the waitresses weren't around to see if we wanted any more food or if we needed anything or if we liked the food. don't know if they spoke English or not!!! Loved the music they were playing - Christian music. food was the best thai food in Des Moines and we have tried many thai places.

So good! Had lovely beef and potato samosas, pad se ew (my go to thai dish and this was some of the best) and my boyfriend had an incredible coconut peanut curry dish. Please check it out. The prices are very good for what you get and for thai food in general. Loved it.

I saw an article in the Juice Magazine, decided to give it a try. It's very small, probably seats around 20 people. We had the Panang Curry, seafood pad Thai, and the chicken satay as an appetizer. The chicken satay was deep fried. I would prefer it to be grilled, but it wasn't bad. I like the dipping sauce much better. The curry was salty. It had an interesting flavor. My wife didn't like the pad thai. She said she's had better. Of course. She's raised in Florida. ha.!!! Service was prompt. Prices were cheaper than other Thai restaurants around town. I would come back and give them another try. I will take my mom next time. The wife is too picky.

Delicious meal! Small clean restaurant. Fresh ingredients. Perfect pad see ew! Don't forget to specify the spice level. On my first visit we forgot to ask, and the young, novice (family member?) waitress didn't inquire. Be patient with the wait staff for now. If you can do that you'll enjoy a wonderful meal!

Great new Thai food! The space is small but absolutely spotless, waitress was professional. The food was served quickly and the presentation beautiful. Tasty, too. I ordered medium hot but would order mild next time. Pad Thai was fresh and delicious! I will return soon.
