Fun atmosphere with lots of parrothead memorabilia. Jan & Dave are super friendly and fun to hang out with. Pizza is great thin crust. Recommend getting the double crust because the good flavor of the crust comes through better than in the regular crust.

The town is a big part of this restaurant. Everything is picturesque. My group and I must have looked awful as we got some strange looks from the well manicured crowd. As we were paddling down the Mississippi for several days, eating in a restaurant was wonderful. We were not in a position to properly review the food. If they would have cook an old sneaker and added hot sauce, I would have devoured it in seconds. But, the pizza was thin crust and tasty. I had a cheese burger, which was thicker than expected. The burger had all of the trimmings and was juicy to the point of comedy. Our waitress eyed us skeptically until she realized we were not homeless guys and could actually pay for the meal. The restaurant is a wide open space with a dedicated parking lot. A full bar mirrors the wall of the dining area. Nice small town place.

I believe they have been getting high ratings as a result to being one of the only restaurants in town. 2nd Street Station is your local ma and pa type bar/restaurant with a sports bar/pizza pizza place feel. I had lunch at 2nd Street Station on Friday where they have a buffet. I must admit I am not one who likes buffets as I personally think a lot of the food at buffets are lower quality. One of my co-workers encouraged me to go to 2nd Street Station so we can have lunch together. We both found this place on Yelp and figured why not since there were such good reviews. The water is pre-poured and left on the counter of the bar. Pizza tasted like it was a frozen pizza. The tacos were decent and the brownie for dessert was ok. We had minimal service and had to approach one of their only servers to get our check. I can say the only thing that was really appetizing was their fried cauliflower; however, I can't say which food made me feel sick an hour later. Overall, very cheap buffet but it comes with the consequences. Don't expect much except for shoveling cheap food in your face.

Best place in town. Hands down. Jan and Dave are the best bar owners ever in the history of mankind. The pizza is great, the super special is unreal! Great food, great drinks, great staff, great prices, great atmosphere. Love this gem.
