FTW Open on Labor Day! Driving through town we knew our luck was thin because of the holiday. Luck have it we found this gem. Walked right in and greeted with smiles. Sat right away. They immediately won my heart with not only warm chips and salsa but delicious warm caso cheese! One other review suggested 49 but I was drawn to 48...thinking it might be a little smaller portion. Oh no. A plate bigger than my head held my Tacos Carbon. So much food I had to ask for a box but so delicious. I was a little stuffed in short time due to the chips consumption but I know it will be just as good the second time for leftovers. My husband got the Brito Mexicano Colorado. He was really pleased with his as well. Everything was fresh and mine had a spicy kick! We dined as the music played and the waiters chatted in the background. I loved the building. Old school ceiling squares. Other than that you can't tell this place has aged. Clean..So clean. A table left and it was cleaned in moments. The staff even filled water bottles for the bicyclists as they left. This place had my vote all the way around. Super nice staff and fast good food. I'd happily drive through Adel and hit them up again some time soon.

We stopped in a a slow holiday because most places we closed and was please to find the place well lit and clean everywhere I looked. After we were seated imedditly was brought ice water really good fresh warm chips with caseo and salsa that was great. I had a Colorado burrito that was covered with red sause and beef inside was very tender. Meal was very generous and the staff were very good and kept the place clean and tidy. I was very happy with this experience and would recommend it to anybody looking to try it. I was pleased with a full belly when I left a great tip to help support local businesses keep up the good work

I went here with my husband and mother-in-law. I was a bit hesitant because it had a strange smell when we entered plus my M-I-L is very sensitive to smell. I was so happy when she was okay with it cause I've been craving rice I love rice(breakfast, lunch and dinner). I notice people here don't eat a lot of rice only meat, potato, pasta and cheese. Anyhow, the chips were crispy, warm and delicious with the salsa and cheese dip they served. Everything was so delicious I'm so happy to find this little gem in Adel it made me not miss NYC so much anymore

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
