Ordered a tofu mushroom dish off the menu, $9. At that price I thought it would be made to order, but I then saw the guy go into the back and tinker with a microwave. A few minutes later, the food was done. Sigh. The texture of the tofu indicated that it came from a frozen state. It tasted ok but I felt pretty gypped.

I ordered the beef chow fun - it was made fresh and it was quite tasty HOWEVER I found a roach cooked in after I was halfway done with it. Needless to say, that was gross, I threw what I had left away and I won't be going back.

Okay...First day on the Big Island. Someone did not check their bags when leaving the airport and took one of mine :(. We had not eaten all day, up at 3 am to catch the flight here, arrived at noon, which after time changes made it 12 hours. All that know me, know that I need to eat when I need to eat...In such a bad mood and needing to eat because it is now 4:30 we stop at the Queens shopping center and ate here. As others have said, bad attitude, bad service and terrible food. Looking forward to lots of great food while here and will not let this set back ruin the trip! More to follow.

Negative 5. This place was really horrible. I have never seen a worse two item combo plate. The lo mein that was made out of noodles that appeared to be of lower quality than top ramen noodles. In addition, they were really dry. The Kung Pao Chicken was about the worst I have ever seen. The chicken looked like it was canned or something and did not appear to have been cooked recently and it was not stir fried. Note to chef: King Pao chicken is cooked in a wok, fresh, the day you order it, usually within 25-30 minutes, not a couple of days. I write this with the hope that the owner of this place might see this and consider actually cooking Chinese food here rather than the gruel that my dog threw up. Seriously, the Queens center is supposed to be an oasis from the overpriced, low quality hotel food in Waikoloa. Avoid this place at all costs, it's horrible. Review date 8-5

Worst Chinese food you could ever buy! Panda express is better . The food was mediocre and over priced it's like the chief took a shit on your plate. Drive down to Kona for Chinese. Get subway instead my brother got a nasty assortment of food the chow mein sucked lacking flavor, the chicken was gross and it's not worthy to be still in operation. My true rating is 0 stars.

This is a food court place. Food is bad and not worth stopping by unless you are really trying to save money in the Big Island.

Basic food-court place. I only ordered the deluxe won ton mein (I think it was about $8.50) - was OK & filling -- came with enough won tons, sliced chicken & 4 shrimps. Broth was pretty good -- a better value than the seafood noodle soup my sister ordered from the other food court restaurant nearby that also served pizza & Hawaiian food.

food court chinese food for ~$10/person. I started trying to make a price comparison based on the same food quality, then I just realized that I have never had Chinese food served with quality worse than this.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
