Am I the first to review this catering business??? Ok so my family has used Marians for so long I can't remember the first time I had it. Nestled in the center of Wahiawa behind Dots I think it was when we had a party at Dots. I like their food because everything is fresh and delicious and always the same. You know you can count on the food to be the same :) My particular favorites: flank steak, mac salad, tempura, fried chicken, fried noodles, maki sushi. So yummy!!! Perfect for any occasion :)

It was a last minute decision to use Marian's for my Mom's funeral and everyone was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We ordered the shojin menu and added on a couple of "meats" and it was still very reasonable. A lot of guests were asking where the food was from and I think Marian's picked up a few new customers for future catering needs.

I got itchy mouth for their mahimahi. You know what that means. Everything tastes mass produced and is on the salty side. But grandparents seem to rave about them.

I wanted to write about my experience with Marian's catering. Although I wasn't able to have my wedding in Hawaii as originally planned but will now have it closer to my home; I am rating on the customer service aspect. I dealt with Darcie who is the event manager and would've been my wedding coordinator. She was totally awesome and had a lot of great ideas and referrals. She thought of things that I didn't even think about. She has a lot of experience and can help any bride either local or destination bride build their dream wedding. When I talked to her about having to cancel the wedding, she was so caring and thoughtful and understood my decision. She also helped me talk to her boss and vendors. Many thanks again to Darcie! I highly recommend Marian's!!! You won't be sorry!

We hired Marian's to cater and serve the food at our wedding and it was an excellent choice. They were professional and easy to work with and the food was delicious. Our ceremony was at 4:30 and we wanted dinner service to start at 6:00. I didn't have a wedding coordinator and was relieved when I returned to the party at 6:00 to find that Marian's staff had set everything up and were ready to serve right on time. We decided on the Hawaiian menu and enjoyed everything that they served. They also supply all the utensils & plateware as well as cups, sugars, stirrers etc. if you order coffee. We ordered food for maybe 10 more guests than we had at the wedding and we had leftovers for DAYS. It was well worth the money we spent and the professionalism we received.

Marian's delivered. My husband and I married last November at a vacation home in Oahu and we hired Marian's to cater our big day. During the planning process, they were easy to contact and negotiate with. We were able to easily set up a food tasting, that included popular items from their menu. The food was delicious. On the day of the wedding we ordered appetizers (Pupus), a custom Hawaiian buffet that included teriyaki chicken, meat, chicken long rice, lomi lomi salmon and fresh pineapples, as well as the tables for the food, cake, DJ, head table etc. With their services, we were able to hire bartenders for the cocktail hour and reception. Marians' was on time and were able to set up the chairs for the ceremony and umbrella's for the cocktail hour in a timely manner. Darcie from Marian's was extremely reliable and professional. Much recommended.

Day 021/365, three weeks later Yelp Challenge 2011 I had to take a nap after returning from Jamie's baby luau and it was catered by Marian's. At first, I thought the food was brought in by Tanioka's (the fried chicken). When I asked Jamie's mom, she told me "Marian's" instead. My three section styrofoam plate was piled with: fried chicken, sashimi with the finely shredded cabbage lining, maybe two pieces of fish tempura, and a scoop of the potato macaroni salad. I picked through the fried noodles, only because it was filled with slivers of green beans. I've never seen so many platters of sashimi at a baby luau before! My fridge now holds two plates filled with leftovers from today's lunch, for tomorrow's lunch.

Just had Marian's catering for the first time yesterday and I am a fan! My workplace ordered the Japanese menu, which comes with Sushi Potato/Macaroni Salad or Namatsu (pickled cucumber) Fried Noodles Fried or Shoyu Chicken Sweet-Sour Spareribs Fish Tempura Barbecue Meat Sashimi I tried most of the items and they were all pretty tasty albeit nothing extraordinary. Except for the sweet-sour spareribs. BOY, ARE THEY GOOD!!! The pork is fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce is yuuummmyy! Pour some of that over the fried noodles and you are good to go! I hired these guys for my wedding and it was amazing! They are reasonably priced with excellent service. I had a luau style dinner and all of the food was delicious! Darcie was really easy to work with and was in constant communication with me throughout the process.

We had our company Christmas party catered by Marians. Fried Cod fish, fried noodles, roast pork, mac salad, and long rice with a teriyaki sauce mixed with onions and green onions. That was my favorite. First time I've ever had that. All of us were enjoying the dishes put out by Marians. Not a bad menu, some were ready to pick up after calling. So no delay.
