We both like this place. Nothing fancy, but the food was good. I ordered grilled mahi with salad on a side, and it was quite decent. My husband had burger, and he liked it. This restaurant does not serve any alcohol, I am not sure why it is listed in here. Instead, try local lemonade. :)

Sept 2013 Again, the Hana Hou comes through! Just the ticket after a good trek to Green Sands. The cabins are delightful, the food is very satisfying. Mahalo!

We spent our 22nd wedding anniversary there from October 4th to 7th in the larger room. Everything was clean, everyone was friendly and we had a great time. We also ate 3 of our meals at their restaurant and the food was wonderful, as was the staff. Thanks! John and Leslie

This is one of the few places to stop along this stretch of the road, and well worth it! Just off the main road with parking across the street. Great atmosphere and food. Service was a bit slow, but that seems to be the way it is in Hawaii. I had the burrito with pulled pork and chipotle sauce (on the side since it was spicy hot) and it was filling and tasty. We finished our meal with the Macadamia nut pie, a restaurant specialty.
