I live in Maui and any time I am on Oahu Rajanee is a MUST stop! I always get the Bangkok night noodles with fried tofu and shrimp! Super good! Hard to decide what I want for dinner because lunch there is really hard to top. If you find yourself in millilani do yourself a favor and stop and see Kenny his mom and Michelle! Service is always great and food is amazing.

Just thinking of that green papaya salad makes my mouth water. Best Thai food I have ever tasted, and I have been to a lot of places all over the USA. Great and friendly service. A must visit.

Hands down one of the best on the island. I've been coming here for years. Kenny (the owner) is a super friendly guy who does a great job at talking to his costumers as well as keeping his staff on point. His mother is one of the cooks who grew up a Bangkok so her methods and ingredients she uses are traditional from that area. The food is great! So great I make it a point to go out of my way to eat here and try new things every time. I cone so often I sometimes ask Kenny to throw something random together. Seating isn't perfect but hell.. I love eating here so much I sit on the steps in the sun! You need to eat here!!

Ate here a few times before when I had to wait for my car to be serviced. I usually order the summer rolls and pad Thai noodles. I wanted to try something different from looking at everyone's reviews. I took the chance in ordering the Bangkok night noodles and the mango sticky rice. All I can say is "I can't believe I didn't order that before!" I loved both dishes and felt like a little piggy because I finished them in one sitting. Can't wait to go back and order it again. Thank you Rajanee for your delicious food!

We ordered a Thai tea, shrimp spring rolls, a tom yum soup and the banana dessert. The only good thing was the tea. The spring rolls weren't any good. The soup was overly salty and just really not good. We had a couple spoonfuls before just calling it quits. I don't like throwing food out but I just couldn't take anymore. The banana dessert was just a fried mess. I felt like crap after eating here. We also didn't like the fact that the entire time we were there the staff wouldn't stop talking about a customer that they needed to call back. The customer was upset about receiving the wrong order. The manager was also being really rude to one of the employees - no not like that, don't give me an attitude, scrub it down, use the scrubby side of the sponge. Oh man. I couldn't work for someone like that. I bet the employee was embarrassed that he was being addressed in front of people and in that manner. So not an enjoyable experience. We will not be back.

Today I was really craving good Tai food and I thought I would get it from here. Well I definitely did and will definitely become a regular costumer. This restaurant is more for to-go orders since the space is very small, there are only 2-4 tables if you would like to eat there. I had the calamari, shrimp pad tai, spring rolls, and fried bananas with ice cream. I loved every single plate and will be coming back.

A hidden gem in Mililani Town! I just recently found out about this place but I wish I knew about it waaay sooner. This establishment is ideal for take-out. The only seating they have is outside and there's about 4 tables. Perfect if you're dressed very casual and want to eat your food immediately! Their food is DELICIOUS! Personal favorite: pad thai. So tasty and lots of flavor every time I order it. Other menu item favorites: papaya salad, panang curry, satay curry, spring rolls, and bangkok night noodles. ALSO, don't forget the mango sticky rice for dessert! The service so far has been great! They're really kind when you go up to order and are always willing to answer questions and share their suggestions.

First of all, this is mostly a take-out place. Both times I've eaten here, though, we've sat at the little picnic table outside to eat. Second, the ginger chicken is the best I've ever had. If you like ginger, and you like it still pretty fresh and strong, then you will like it. I've had that twice and both times were great. All the dishes there are really fresh and nice, and I like the specials listed too. Prices are decent, and the service has been fairly fast. Worth it, but I kind of wish it had a dine-in portion of the restaurant.

When I sleep at night, I dream of Rajanee. LOL!! my absolute favorite is the Pineapple Curry!! The Yellow Curry noodles are mouth-wateringly tasty! So much flavor and never a disappointment. The owner is always friendly and helpful, which makes it even better to know they care about you and how your experience is! I wish I lived next door.

This has been on my bookmark list for awhile, but never really had a good reason to drive into Mililani. I decided to meet up with some relatives near Wahiawa for dinner and let's face it...there's really no decent place to sit down for a quaint dinner in Wahiawa. I chose this joint not knowing it's a tiny little joint. I was a bit embarrassed to have invited my aunt, uncle, and cousin to dinner at a place that serves food in styrofoam boxes. I just prayed their food was delicious. Someone up there must have heard my prayers! I asked the guy manning the fort what were the most awesome dishes. He pointed to panang curry, Bangkok night noodles, ginger chicken, pineapple fried rice, and Soft shell crab drunken noodle. Everything was ordered in a mild spicy level. My hubby ordered the emerald curry which is basically curry with fried fish with green beans and curry. This sucka was HOTHOTHOTHOT!!!! Tasty but so hot you couldn't taste much else. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Make sure to have ice water no more than arms reach away! Panang Curry: Even in mild form...was too spicy for me. Flavor was spot on! Bangkok night noodles: thin noodles with crispy shrimp, veggies, scallions, and eggs. This was my kid's fave! Nice mix of textures and flavors...highly recommend!!! Soft shell crab drunken noodle: WOWSERS! Crab shell was soft and lightly breaded. The noodles were unlike any I've tasted on the island. Tasted handmade. Flavors were sweet and salty. Ginger chicken: Next to the other dishes, this was mehhh. Not bad, not great. This was filled with veggies, but flavor didn't pop like it did in the other dishes. Pineapple fried rice: My fave! It's hard to find well flavored fried rice. Most places season it too blandly. The pineapples gave it a nice sweet, tart flavor. Desserts: Both deep fried ice cream and fried bananas were beautifully decorated and tasted like it came from fancy resort. Presentation was impressive considering it came from a tiny Thai shack. Thank god they had enough sense to present these desserts on plates as opposed to their normal styrofoam togo boxes. Service was genuinely friendly. Even though we were the last ones there and we stayed an hour past closing, they were still gracious and polite enough to thank us for our business and bid us goodnight. My only complaint? It took a little over 30 minutes to get our food and drinks. They wanted to pretty much bring out the whole dinner at one time, but I think it would've been better to bring it out as it was cooked. My two little ones were getting restless. Thank goodness there was a large square for them to run around. The flavors and kind service made up for the long wait. We will be back!!!

This was the best Pad Thai I've ever had, and I eat a lot of Pad Thai. Service was fast. Not a dine-in establishment, but there are a couple tables outside that may or may not be available.

This review is based on my carry out order.. I needed a good meal. A comforting meal. A meal that appeased my sensitive diet and gave me a comforting relief from an EXTREMELY stressful past few days. When times are hard and negative things happen...a good meal can REALLY make all the difference....soul food. I had called a few other places to see if I could get some great Thai food take out. I was wanting something super specific and my normal Thai go-to in Kapolei just was not able to make it happen so I had to go sniffing around other places. I came across Rajanee Thai Cuisine because it is across the street from one of the places I work at. Thankfully...oh so blessed and thankful I got Yellow Curry (VERY hard to find it vegan) and fresh spring rolls with ALL of the veggies inside. Most places leave out a lot of the ingredients that make the fresh roll what it is supposed to be but not Rajanee they gave me all of the best...and I didnt have to jump through hoops to get my needs met. 5 stars. After a super sh***y week it really helped to find this little gem tucked away in an area I am able to frequent often due to work. I will be a return customer without a doubt and recommend this place very highly to anyone who asks. Curry was on point...fresh spring rolls were on point. Generous servings and well made food. I needed Rajanee and since they came through for me, made it easy for me to eat well, I will stay 100 for Rajanee! WINNING

Tonight for dinner we decided to try A new little Thai place in Mililani! Did I say Mililani? Yes! Finally a quality affordable place that is a real hidden gem! Customer service was wonderful! I called in my order and it was about a 25 -30 min wait. However when I got there in about 20 min and was told about 5 more min so I proceeded to pay for my meal. I noticed on my receipt that one of my items wasn't what I wanted garlic shrimp instead of garlic ribs. Understandable phone order mistake. The young man at the counter was awesome! He did not give any attitude when I brought it to attention or try to put the onus on me. He just excused himself and checked with the kitchen the error. He returned apologetic and said no problem they could make the correction no problem just had to wait 10 min. Here is what we had: Spring rolls - very good crispy and tasty with sweet chili sauce Me - Bangkok Night Boodles mild - soooo yum garlicky but not overpowering. Lightly breaded shrimp nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. Son - Chili Basil stir fry with chicken spicy! The boy loved it! He said the spicy was intense but awesome! Hubs- Garlc Thai ribs mild - wonderful spice and was perfectly cooked crisp outer layer with tender inside. Lots of meat! Can't wait to go back and try more! Yay this will finally put Mililani on the food map!

Rajanee Thai is amazing. Since going gluten free 4 years ago, eating out has become pretty difficult. Since moving to Hawaii 3 years ago, it's become even harder with soy sauce being the main ingredient is almost everything. Last year, I stumbled upon Rajanee Thai through Yelp and it basically changed my life. I love spicy Thai food and almost the ENTIRE menu is gluten free and the owners/ workers are super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend getting the Green Curry but beware it's addictive. I almost always get the food togo because there isn't a lot of seating. It is kind of hidden so be on the lookout. If you haven't checked out Rajanee Thai yet, you must!

"Derrrrrrrrricious!" That's basically what I said as I stuffed my face with Thai food. After an underwhelming experience at two Thai restaurants in Hawaii, I decided to have a go at Rajanee. I mean, with a near perfect rating on Yelp, they must be doing something right! I did NOT expect to walk up and see a small little take-out restaurant. I was relieved to see that they provide seating outside though. The girl at the register was very helpful and we decided to order the roast duck with panang curry, papaya salad, pad Thai with tofu, a side of sticky rice, and a Thai tea. Our Thai tea and papaya salad were brought out to us quite promptly and good thing they came out together because even though we ordered the salad to be of medium spice level, it was pretty damn spicy! Don't get me wrong though, it was HELLA good! The Thai tea came in a large soda cup and was on the sweeter end, just the way I like it. The roast duck is literally a whole half of a duck with curry poured over it. A bit hard to eat with no real utensils but so delicious!!! I would probably request for more curry sauce next time though since I like to drown my rice in that stuff. The pad Thai was very tasty as well. Overall, a highly recommended Thai restaurant for those in Mililani. Service is excellent and while it's a bit on the pricier end, definitely cheaper than some dine-in establishments that offer the same dishes! I can't wait to try their other dishes in the near future!

Wow!!! Exceeded my expectation. The place is cute and just in a place where it doesn't do it justice. We ordered: 1 - Bangkok Night Noodles - medium: OMG!! It was delicious. Even the kids loved it, on the spicier side for them but still good. 2 - Thai Fried Rice with Chicken - mild: my daughter said she loved it. She wanted to try the medium next time; ) 3- Papaya Salad - medium: takes me back to when a good friend would make this for me, amazing!! 4- Fried Banana with Ice Cream - delish (enough said). The people there are friendly and helpful. You can tell its family runned and they take pride in the food they make! I recommend this to all!!! Found my new favorite place; )

Awesome Thai food with reasonable prices!! I would consider this a hole in the wall type, take out restaurant. You order inside at the counter and can either have your food to go or enjoy it at the limited outdoor seating. Pay attention to the chalk board below the menu for the daily specials!

Wooooow. So so delicious. The guy at the register who I assume is an owner was too kind and friendly. Really nice guy. I tried the pineapple fried rice, which I asked to be made vegan by taking out the egg and using tofu instead of meat. Perfect. Like wow that rice hit so hard! I also tried the summer rolls & papaya salad. The rolls came with this super interesting curry dipping sauce. So good. The papaya salad is always super delicious and a refreshing side dish. I ate this up with the quickness. My BF helped me of course and he got pad Thai which he couldn't stop saying how delicious it was. Such an excellent local establishment. Highly recommend.

I've been here many times. I love the spicy eggplant and basil fried rice! Fast service, new specials all the time, delicious thai food! Cons: It gets really windy outside, and you have to sit in the middle of a walkway in this strange, quiet business area. The surrounding businesses include a bank, an insurance place, a goodyear, a doctor's office, tattoo parlor, some business offices, and a few vacant spaces. Very strange atmosphere. Almost everytime I ask for "extra spicy," they make my food like a 6/10 level at best. Just one time, however, I ordered everything "extra spicy" and it was crazy freaking hot. (That's a good thing to me.) This kept me coming back, but it has never been anywhere near that since. I was really looking forward to the deep fried coconut ice cream for a really long time because usually I'm too full for dessert. So, I finally made it a point to stop by specifically for that. And... it was meh. The crust on the outside was super hard and was very bland, save for just the slightest coconut flavor. We broke our plastic spoons trying to get into it. The entire thing was not at all sweet. I'm not a fan of sweet, but this barely tasted like dessert. The raspberry sauce was definitely fresh and not processed or canned, but it tasted super tangy and unripe. I little sugar would have been nice. Then, you'd expect the ice cream to be sweet at least, but it was bland as well. I'm guessing they froze it for a long time or at too low a temperature because it tasted frosty/watery, not at all creamy or sweet. Despite all of these things, I'll always come back. I love their dinner entrees! Other than the fried ice cream, the food is always yummy! Great for a quick take out!

I truly love the food here, but it is getting quite pricey. As you can see I eat here quite often. The food is tasty and fresh but the price has gone up significantly recently. This place is truly a takeout restaurant (as they don't really have a dining area) so I don't see the justification in significant price increase. Fuel prices are down significantly and I don't see others raising prices drastically as of late. The noodles I usually get are $10 for Bangkok Nights, but today I got home and my receipt showed they are $13. A thirty percent increase for the same noodles??? The garlic chicken is my favorite, but for $15, there are a lot of other options or there including a decent sit down restaurant for the same price. Don't get me wrong, the food here is great, but for the price I will consider my options before eating here frequently. Also, today they didn't give me the sauce for my spring rolls. Not worth a trip back, but now my $6 spring rolls are less satisfactory than they normally are. Competition is great and i wish success to all.

Terrible service. Never going back. We had to wait 45 min for for our takeout order. Staff could not handle servicing a busy night. Many missing orders and dozen or so people waiting. This is unacceptable for any restaurant. They also screwed up our order by giving the spicy pad thai with large amount of chili flakes and spices. instead of the mild. Immediately when we noticed we received the wrong order, we called to inform the manager, whom was very apologetic and offered to mail a gift certificate. It has been over a month ago.... Still have not yet received the gift certificate the manager said she would mail. They are full of BS.

I have eaten here on several occassions for lunch since it is located near my job. This is a tiny hidden restaurant near jack in the box and American Savings Bank. First heard about it from one of the students who frequented the place. Prices on the food is all right. I enjoy the summer roll which is all vegetables(no noodles which is how I like it). Veggies taste fresh and the sauce that comes along with it is flavorful. It's not like your usual peanut sauce you would get at Bale or other thai restaurants I have been to. The Pad Thai is my other favorite thing to eat from here. It's delicious and not too oily. The restaurant is small and has a few tables outside where you can sit. Staff is nice and you can make phone orders if you are in a rush. Heard that it is also a good place for dinner but have not been yet. A good place to check out if you are in the Mililani area!

I prefer to have my food made fresh. They nail it every time. Kenny and Michelle are great and always are welcoming. From being slammed back to back or no one in at the time. They take the time with every order and fix anything if it's ever wrong. Love their food!

My first visit to this establishment and I was not disappointed. I came by during my lunch break with a co worker and was able to order, eat, and leave within 45 mins. Typical thai food menu option such as curries, pad thai, and other entree dishes. Most dishes were around $9. Only four or five two person tables on outdoor patio. Most customer order, pickup, and leave. I ordered a panang curry with chicken which was brought out in to go containers and easily packaged up to take as leftovers. My dish tasted fresh cooked and in large portions. Two scoops of rice with each curry dish is a plus. Unlike other thai restaurants that make you pay extra for a side of rice! This will definitely be my go to place for quick quality thai food. It can be hard to find initially but dont give up, it's located to the right of the first Hawaiian bank.

Love their Yellow Curry, I usually get it w/ beef or shrimp (they use medium sized shrimp!) My husband always orders their Green Curry which he has also says it's the best Thai Curry on the island! Sometimes I will order their Steak Special which is also very delicious & spicy. My son enjoys their fried rice.. & last but not least, you must try their fried coconut ice cream as a dessert! Everything here tastes on point :) I've been coming here at least once a week lately.. Haha

My first visit to rajanee was a great experience! It wasnt spicy like I expected so I got chili peppers on the side and that made up for it. The guy at the cashier was real cool and friendly! Food was great and customer service awesome. The place is kind of hard to find for first timers like me because it's more on the back side of the shopping center .

One of the best places I've eaten Thai food at! The papaya salad is my favorite along with the pad thai and panang curry. Best thing is it's 5 minutes from my house. Highly recommended

This place is still the best! Went there today on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy. My wife called in our order and I as I waited I could see Kenny and his crew busting there butts in the kitchen. The front staff was frantically putting orders together yet they were so cordial with walk ins and phone orders. We ordered the Thai fried rice which was very good and the red curry was even better! The garlic ribs were awesome also and of course the papaya salad is always good. Thanks again Kenny!

This place already has great reviews so this will be brief. We love it, my son gets pad Thai at every Thai resteraunt he goes to and he said this was the best he's gotten, my wife and I love their food too.

All the five star reviews are true. The food is delicious and is probably the best Thai food on Oahu and I've tried most of them! The owner and staff are super friendly too and cook with love. They even made me a Massaman curry although it's not in the menu! Seriously, this place is AWESOME!

Best Thai food I have had on the island. After asking countless people' Where do you go for Thai food?', constant disappointments, and fast food style food.I was finally impressed with this hidden gem. Upon walking we were greeted warmly by Kenny, the owner he took his time to answer our questions. The way he light as he walked you thru the dishes you can tell his heart was in the food. I ordered the soft shell crab drunken noodles... Oh man..I'm salivating now just thinking of them. Perfectly cooked, the flavors that coat your taste buds make you feel bad about washing it down with the sweet Thai iced. My only complaint is that they are far from town. But that still hasn't stopped me from hiking out for those heavenly noodles.

  • Greg L.

This is a good primarily take out Thai place. Only outdoor seating, with just a few tables and chairs. Special menu is where it is at. Highlights include the monsoon chicken and short ribs. Good service, tasty food, but very pricey. $13-16 for special menu entrees. Regular items like curries run $9. I had the garlic chicken off the regular menu which was good--pan fried with plenty of minced garlic and a light soy-based sauce, but too much oil. It came with cucumber, a small amount of diced cabbage, and a huge serving of rice. I know the owner will accommodate less oil if I ask though. I like the food but the price will prevent me from going very often.

I've been coming to Rajanee since it's been opened, so this review has been a long time in the making. First off, customer service has always been amazing. The owner takes the time to get to know you and I always leave with a smile, the other cashiers are always really nice and have always had no problem catering to my vegan needs. I've never had trouble with my orders, always correct and the spice level is always on it. :) Then there's the food. My favorite thing about this place is they can are so accommodating for diverse eaters. I'm a vegan and mostly everything on the menu can be made vegan! Yay, bonus stars :) Everything I've ordered has been amazing...my favorite is Panang curry with extra veggies, the yellow curry fried noodles (or rice), Pad Thai, papaya salad, and Bankok night noodles. Check out the specials too, they always look good. My boyfriend and I like to order 2-3 dishes and share so we can get all our favorites :) The prices seem a little steep, but with the amount of food you get, it sometimes feeds me for a few days. Yum.

This is the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the pad Thai chicken and the panang curry tofu. Seriously, so amazing! The service was fast, the owners were super friendly. It's a little hard to find, but worth it. It's in the shopping center near the doctor/business office side.

I've been here a handful of times and have tasted maybe 6-7 of their dishes. While the food is good, the wait is long. I anticipate this now but tonight was ridiculous. I called in an order, they said that would be ready in 20-25 mins. I've learned my lesson so I got there after 30 mins. They made me wait over 20 more minutes and said "sorry for the wait" in the most I insincere way without even looking at me. If they had the courtesy of acknowledging me, maybe I would have told then myself that they're unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead, I'm telling you. An hour wait for takeout is...well let's just say that it's not worth the wait. Which is unfortunate because I love supporting small businesses. I won't be returning.

I came here for my first UYE. I was skeptical at first because it was such a small place that it looked like a Thai cuisine drive inn type restaurant. The prices were reasonable and the menu was kind of small. All in all the food was delicious. We had the pad thai, basil chicken, green papaya salad and Thai fried rice. I really loved the green papaya salad and the Thai fried rice. It was perfectly seasoned and had the right amount of spice. The portions were generous and the service was friendly, For dessert we were given a complimentary fried ice cream. It was an ice cream ball fried to a crisp with the cool ice cream center. The ball was rolled in toasted shaved coconut and there was a wonderful raspberry like sauce topping. Let me say that was the best part of the meal! I'd drive from Kapolei to have that again! Parking was plentiful but it's on the back side of the Mililani Shopping Center near the Goodyear. I'd definitely come back for some take out if I was ever in the area.

I absolutely love this place. The owner and staff are very nice and the food is the best Thai food I've yet to have on the island. Love love love their Panang curry and their green curry. Love it so much I can't try anything new even though I know I should and will likely not be disappointed. I wish they had some kind of loyalty card. Also wish the order would be ready when I go to pick it up and I end up having to wait another 5-15 minutes on top of the 20 I waited after the call (thats pretty ridiculous) but as irritating as that can be the food just makes it worth going back (when I have cash on hand anyway). It's a great hole-in-the-wall place.

We had some difficulties to find this place. But the food is very good. The pineapple fried rice is delicious. I personally like the Pad Thai more. One thing to notice: Only three tables outside. Better for Togo style.

A diamond in the rough! This place is rad! They are fast, their food is delicious! They understand vegan which is nice! The owner is vegetarian and he works in the kitchen as well. They are more of a take-out place, but they have a small outdoor seating are that is really nice to sit after a long day at work. Great people, great food! I LOVE this place! Oh and the prices are a killer deal!

Adding one more star to my review for rajanee, as they were very diligent and kind to message me about my previous experience. I can't wait to go back and hopefully add one more star for the next time i dine with them. Judging from the other reviews, my tummy is telling me to try the drunken noodles with softshell crab! It sounds wonderful. And I can't wait for my fave papaya salaaaad lol.

Staff is ALWAYS so friendly. Owner Kenny and his mother put out authentic Thai food. Their yellow curry, papaya salad, tofu pad thai noodles, coconut sticky rice are to die for...!

  • Scott W.

Oh my gosh this place is good! I ordered the Thai fried rice with shrimp and it was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning and spices. You get a lot of food and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. $9 for a huge plate of thai fried rice!? Can't beat it! My wife got the Massuman curry and it was also very good. Don't expect your food to be out right after you order it. It will be a few minutes, especially if it's busy. We will be back!

OMdrizzle!!! Their business keeps expanding for a reason. They're amazing! We recently met the owners, and they are as awesome as their food! Love them! If you ever get to try their Country Curry Fish, a special, TRY!!!! IT!!! The cajun spices mixed with curry spices are crazy!!!!! Be prepared to lick the plate.

Delicious Thai food! Owner is super friendly and easy to talk to. Also learned that he owns haleiwa eats and I remember really liking their food as well. Normal go to dishes from here are the beef pad thai, green and panang curry, and tom yum soup. The thai tea is also winnahs!

  • Ryan H.

The food here is good. I was pleasantly surprised as I have eaten at Haleiwa Thai and was disappointed. The food is good but be careful. If the owner's Mother is not in, there will be very limited specials and items. I had the Chili Basil Saute and was really impressed with the sauce and the flavor. There was lots of food for only $9 and it came with 2 scoops of rice. The dish included lots of veggies, choice of meat, and came in a plate lunch type container. I was disappointed they didn't have brown rice as an option. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get your food after ordering so don't plan on this being fast unless you call in. The location is hard to find as it is behind a shopping center. Once you know where to go, you'll be back for more.

This place is a hidden gem! Once you find it, you hopefully, won't forget it. papaya salad- 4 stars yellow curry- 4 stars spring rolls- 2 stars fish curry- 4.5 stars (you should really try this) the panang curry- 4 stars Just be careful with the suggestive selling by the male order taker. We had placed our order and paid for everything. Then we began talking and after a few minutes, he asked, "would you like something to drink?" So me and my friend looked at each other thinking that was very nice of him to ask, and said, "sure." He then proceeded to make our drinks (iced coffee, I think), and held them out to us, then rang us up for the cost of the drinks. What the heck????? We weren't even thirsty and didn't want to be rude by not accepting the drink. So just a warning, if they start making conversation with you and smoothly slip in the question if you'd like a drink? Please remember this review and just say "no." Unless of course, you're really thirsty. If not, be prepated to be suckered in. Next time, I'll just stick to ordering the food, thank you very much! Just to let you know, there is not too many tables there, 4 single tables that can seat 2 people per. So this place does more take out than dine in.

I absolutely love the thai food hear. It has that nice home cooked meal fell to it. Everytime I come here its always smiles all around. My husband loves their chicken pad thai. Love that we dont have to drive too far off Schofield to satisfy our thai cravings. :)

Awesome food the best papaya salad and coconut soup. Customer service is outstanding!! It's a small place and a little bit of a wait but worth it. There are some tables outside to sit and eat but it's mostly take out

Had their Duck Chili Basil, spring rolls, and Thai iced tea. Another visit had Thai iced tea (again, because it was so good) and green curry fried rice. Boyfriend had their chili basil fish and it was also excellent. Have not had anything that I haven't liked from this place yet. Can get expensive and is a wait, but for the quality of food, it is worth the money and wait. If you can't decide on what you want, just ask. They are very friendly and glad to help you out. If you decide to sit outside, they will bring the food to you.

Rajanee is so delicious. Best Thai food I have had! Great prices and lots of options for vegetarians and vegans too!

They have the best peanut sauce for their summer rolls. I can eat it daily! We also got their Bangkok noodles, the shrimp was excellent. Will definitely be going back.

Whenever I think fresh ingredients and good Thai I think of Rajanee Thai in Mililani so its an easy decision. The atmosphere is great as the word has gotten out about this hidden treasure in Mililani. Kenny is always super friendly and is very engaging. He makes you feel like a friend and not just another customer. The prices are good for the amount of food you get. If you are looking for a great place to have lunch get there early and beat the lunch rush as the outdoor seating is limited but you can always take it to go and sit on grass around the corner.

This Thai food jewel was discovered after eating at Hale'iawa Eats Thai in North shore when they closed for renovation and we were told, that great Thai is right by our house in Mililani. I am so happy we did. They are friendly, family like with an Ahola spirit and enthusiastic passion for serving and serving great authentic food. Dishes that are highly recommended: Monsoon Chicken or Shrimp. If you love Curry, Peanut sauce, and a sweet taste with light spice, this is for you. Pad Thai Panang Curry Fried Tofu w/ Peanut Sauce I go at least 1 time a week and sometime much more. A must. Service: A++++++, heck all of it was A+++++++

Great food. We ordered Medium spice on a couple items and I guess we were just not used to what Medium is because it was about a 9 on my hotness scale. Just a word to the wise, when they say Medium, it's a MEDIUM!!!!!!! With that, They made us the "wimpy Mild" version the next time we came in and as usual, awesome.

A 40 minute wait for take out..WHAT THE FUCK?! ON A WEEK NIGHT? Never have I ever waited longer for my food than the time it takes to consume it. I suppose I can cross that off my bucket list...not that it was a dream to complete anyway. I must admit that I am guilty of ordering at the time of purchase and did not phone my order in. That, understandably would be another story. However, I did notice that the 5 walk-in customers who arrived and ordered after me, except for 1, receive their orders before I did. Is this my punishment for trying to order Evil Jungle Beef? Unacceptable. The food was delicious, however, I found the panang to be overly sweetened by the coconut milk and lacked the peanut punch I was hoping for. The Pad Thai with tofu is great. But the serving size is smaller than expected. Garlic beef was perfect... But.... As great as the food was, I don't think the unapologetic service and unmentionable pace at which my food was prepared can be erased in my memory. Therefore, I will probably stick to good ol' Phuket Thai if I want nearby Thai Takeout. If I'm out and about, Thai House @ Market City has a reasonable, yet extensive menu...oh and they serve you in a reasonable amount of time.

Yup, this place was worth driving ALL the way out to Mililani and I might just do it again soon. If you actually LIVE in Mililani and love Thai food, why haven't you tried this place out yet (wat!?)!!?? Stop reading this and GO NOW! Location: Mililani. Find FHB and Salon Andre, its in the courtyard to the right. I couldn't see it from the parking lot or the road, so just look for the FHB annex, and park. It's there. This is what I ordered: Drunken noodles - HIGHLY RECOMMEND you order this dish if it's on the board! Medium was the perfect spiciness for me, it was just enough to make my nose run and clear my sinuses without burning my taste buds off. It was as good as this picture looks, and then some: yelp.com/biz_photos/29E6… I know you're thinking that kinda looks like Pad Kee Mow! I was confused too, and I wanted to get to the bottom of this, so I asked them what the difference was between Pad Kee Mow and Drunken Noodles-- "The biggest difference between the Pad Kee Mao and the Drunken Noodles really is the noodle and the way the veggies are cut. Our Pad Kee Mao uses the Pad Thai Noodle or Rice Stick Noodle while the Drunken *USUALLY* uses the wide and flat Chow Fun style noodle. Otherwise, the flavors and the fresh veggies offered are the same. It is worth noting that our Drunken Noodle is served with chicken as it is traditionally served in Thailand. Our Pad Kee Mao offers your choice of Chicken, Beef, Shrimp or Tofu. You can always ask to add additional meats or veggies for $2 more. The Chef is happy to oblige :) Drunken is the English translation of Pad Kee Mao meaning "fried noodles that you eat while drinking". AHA! So, I what I really got was the Drunken Noodles using the thin noodles, which makes it PAD KEE MOW! There you have it folks. I prefer the skinny noodles instead of the flat chow fun, but that's me. Panang chicken $8 - the peanut curry had beans, zucchini, and chicken, and was very very good too. yelp.com/biz_photos/29E6… I don't know what else to tell you! CASH ONLY, 52cents for extra scoops of rice, open Mon-Fri 11am-8pm, Sat 11-5. GO! NOW! NOW!!!

Fast and friendly. Clean and quiet atmosphere. Awesome staff. Authentic Thai cuisine....like Thailand itself! Love everything we have ordered. Good portion size and price. Cooks are Thai! A definite favorite! Vegetarian dishes too! Hidden away but well worth finding in Mililani shopping center near First Hawaiian bank....

The food here is SO good. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. Everything is made fresh and the peanut sauce is absolutely amazing because it has a dash of curry in it. If you haven't met Kenny or his mom, you should do so! You really feel like family when you eat here. :)

The most legit "thai spicy" on the island. Other spots don't even come close to the heat at this joint!

The thai fried rice is very very good; however for the portion it is a bit pricey. I ordered the Ginger Chicken with rice and requested it Thai hot -- yummy. The drunken noodle was good too. I also ordered papaya salad, taste like other papaya salad I had on the island. Next time I think I will just come here for the fried rice. It is a very small take-out/restaurant with about two tables.

This is some good stuff. It's a hole-in-the-wall place that isn't seen very easily from the road. or from the parking lot. but still, it's worth it. GREEN PAPAYA SALAD: It's an interesting take on it. There is no option to make it more or less spicy than the way they serve it. There were large pieces of lime in it. I really enjoyed the salad--sometimes all you can ask for is tons and tons of flavor and this salad delivered on that no doubt. TOM KHA SOUP: Ordered it medium heat. Came with a hearty amount of lemongrass, ginger--gave the soup a highly floral and citrusy taste. Just like with the green papaya salad, the good folks at Rajanee are down with inundating their dishes with tons of flavors and I am totally fine with that. Personally, medium packs a perfect amount of heat and doesn't detract from the overall flavor of the dish. GREEN CURRY: Ordered it with medium heat with beef. Sticky rice comes for extra money, around $3 me thinks. It was strange that the curry came with string green beans, but whatever--it was still good, plus it added color and texture. Overall, it's a quality establishment. And because it's more of a take-out place than it is a restaurant, it's not as expensive as it could be. The papaya salad is around $6 and the tom kha and curry are $9 each, and the portions are very sizeable. FYI: CASH ONLY AS OF THIS REVIEW.

Love the tofu salad. Drunken noodles is so flavorful and addicting. Mango sticky rice is a great combo dessert of fresh mangos and coconut sticky rice.

I love this place so much. Whenever my hubby and I want really good thai food to go...we always end up getting it at Rajanee. Our favorite things to get here are their curries and the drunken noodles! I love how they have a deep fried soft shell crab in their drunken noodles because it gives such an amazing flavor to the dish. HOWEVER, the one thing I do not like at this place is their pad thai. It isn't the kind of pad thai I am used to back home (which is LAS VEGAS..aka one of the meccas of awesome foods in the world). If you want great pad thai...I highly suggest Thai Village in Kunia.

Redemption! So I guess the plate of noodles I was served last time was actually the Bangkok Night Noodles - not Pad Thai - they made a mistake. The fessed up to it and we all moved on. 5 Stars for customer service! I opened my plate and squeezed the lime on my noodles. OMG! It was spicy (medium), lightly sweet, crunchy with the bean sprouts and peanuts and the noodles were chewy... yummy! It wasn't as oily as the Bangkok Night Noodles. This is definitely one of the best pad thais I've had in Hawaii. Kenny provides a warm touch and great service. I definitely look forward to going back!

This is one of my favorite Thai places on the island!!! Granted the only thing I've tried is the pad thai, BUT lemme just say that it is literally the bomb dot com. I usually get the mild to medium with tofu and it the perfect amount of spice. Everything on the menu also sounds so delicious, but I've yet to try something other than my usual lol. Along with the great food, the service is also top notch. The cashier is always so friendly and always talks story with customers. Rajanee is also family owned so it has that special touch that other franchise places don't have. 5 stars for Rajanee!

YES!!! MANGO STICKY RICE IS AT RAJANEE!!! Need I say more? The food was awesome (Shrimp Pad Thai, Spicy Yellow Curry, Springrolls). The best for me was the Mango and Sticky rice, a classic Thai dessert made right. The warm, sticky rice topped with a thin blanket of coconut sauce sitting next to fresh chilled. It was perfect. No frills to it, no modern twist. I wasn't able to sit down and eat, but it looks like a peaceful place to enjoy great Thai food. One thing for me that stood out was how friendly the staff was. The young gentleman (I think he's the owner) helping me with my order was very courteous and very polite. Thank you for the Thai Ice Tea!!! Aroy Mak Mak!

The food is like taste-bud crack. Addictive. I wanted more. Very tasty and unique flavors. The place is hard to find and is really small with a few seats outside, making it a great lunch place, but not really a dinner date joint. It's more of a plate-lunch style place - order from a counter - eat out of a box.

This is my FAVORITE Thai place - I love the spring rolls! And the peanut sauce is delicious! I compare all Thai places I eat at to this place and Rajanee wins every time! :)

My boyfriend brought home some Rajanee take out yesterday. It was decent. And definitely good by Mililani standards (I mean, theres really not a lot of killer eats in Mililani imo). Reminded me a little of bangkok chef. According to my bf, the owner is very proud of his 'inventive thai take out' idea. The food was pretty plentiful for just $9 a plate so that was pleasing. We had the pad thai, panang curry, and cashew chicken. Personally, to me, the panang was very plentiful but it was kind of really thick and grainy. And actually sweeter than I wouldve liked. The cashew chicken was plentiful and pretty good, but I also thought the sauce was on the sweeter side as well. The pad thai noodles was tasty and I liked the tofu mixed in it, but a it turned into a big lump a noodles (maybe from the ride home?). You know, the more I talk about it, and remember the tastes and everything. Im liking it less and less. Haha. My rating would probably be like a 2.5. Lets just say, for a take out thai place, for the price, for the amount of food you get, and for its mililani-ness, I give it an A-ok. But if I was craving crazy good thai food, Id go elsewhere :)

We ordered panang chicken curry ($9), pad Thai ($9), coconut rice($3), summer and spring rolls--ALL of which were very tasty! They offered the pad Thai in either mild, medium, or hot. We ordered one "medium" and one "hot." It had a good kick. I will definitely be back! I don't know what took me so long to try this place out! There's lots of parking.

I've been here twice already and I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! It's a real small location with just a counter you can order from then some tables outside the restaurant. It's best if you call in your order then just come to pick it up. Well here's what we've tried: Pad Thai: Got it with chicken and was alright, a little bland. Bangkok Night Noodles: This was better still a little under-seasoned but good. They put some shrimp on the top that worried me cause it didn't say on the menu and I don't eat shellfish but at least it was easy to pick off. Panang Curry: Really good but SUPER spicy if you get it spicy! Almost too spicy but it was still good. Battered fish with chili basil sauce: One of my favorites! I was curious as to what kind of fish it was and they said they use Sole. They prepare it so well, it's awesome! You can also get it with curry on top too but I loved the chili basil sauce. Rajanee Grilled Steak with Purple Haze Sticky Rice: This was one of their specials on the board. The steak's seasonings were really good but unfortunately the steak was really tough and over-cooked. And I don't know why they say "Purple Haze" sticky rice because it was just like their regular sticky rice. Coconut rice: This was on their specials list too and was just like regular rice with sweetened coconut milk on top I think but it was super good! Coconut fried ice cream: The bf really liked this but I thought it was just OK. A little too much batter for me and not enough ice cream but still good. (Got this for the Yelp check-in offer so I'm happy :D) I'm so happy this place it so close to us and it's pretty reasonably priced too. Service is always great too, they're always so friendly. I will definitely come back again!

After reading a review on this hidden restaurant my mom and I decided to try it. It is located in mililani shopping center where first Hawaiian bank is. Small take-out place with three tables outside. We went around 2 where only another person was eating... Really empty. We ordered the satay chicken as an appetizer. Theres three chickens on sticks with a yellow dipping sauce and cucumber salad. Surprisingly this chicken was blasting with favors and savory. We then ordered green curry with coconut rice and the original pad thai noodles. I like curry, but this green curry was delicious!! The must have is the coconut rice..! The pad Thai was also very good. The prices were really good for the quality of food you are getting! The service was really Good ! I will definitely be returning soon!!

Love the food here. Its my typical drop-in place when I need a decent meal after work. My only complaint is that there isn't an alternative to the white rice as a side. So delicious though that I go here anyway. :)

One word! Bomb!!!! Had a really bad experience with Thai food downtown. So I was kind of skeptical. Amazing!!! Had the monsoon chicken medium and the wife had shrimp pad Thai mild. The medium has good flavor and the mild wasn't hot at all. Definitely a return trip is in order really soon.

review is long over due. Glad to have a Thai place close to home , like seriously down the road. Its the AMAZING customer service and AWESOME food that keeps me coming back. Todays visit was on point . Kenny hooked it up !! . Drunken noodles , Calamari and Battered fish with curry . + thai iced tea. 1st time eating drunken noodles, and i am a fan of chow fun noodles ( fat noodle ) and its like the same but with a twist and yup i was in heaven . also first time eating battered fish with curry , totally bomb . I usually get chili basil and now i have another option. Also 1st time drinking thai iced tea and I will admit i never drank it at first bc well the color and well you cant say no to kenny when he suggest things lol all his suggestions made me and my bf's tummy's super happy ! If you have never checked this place out YOU NEED TOO! You wont regret it .

Pros - Friendly worker Decent food Cons - Just decent food (Duck was dry and squash tasted spoiled) Expensive (curry fried rice is $15!!! Crazy) From my experience I would not come back again. We pay $15 for plates and can't even get fresh ingredients and I think that $15 for a curry fried rice is pretty high.

First timer and I ordered the beef salad. Not what I thought it was going to be. It was some beef with cucumber and rice. I ordered it medium since I love spicy food. I took a bite and it was so spicy it was inedible. I don't know how this is medium! I tired another bite making sure there were no chili peppers or seeds on it and I couldn't even swallow it. Extremely disappointed and a waste of $15!

Dear Rajanee Thai Cuisine (and ninja alien fighter trooper), You have great reviews. Great reviews by reviewers that I know. Great reviews by reviewers I have eaten with and have bantered with and who I am inclined to trust. I don't understand what happened. I was imprisoned at a foodless craft fair waiting for my husband whose expedition to find you and secure food took an hour and a half. Uplifted by his eventual triumphant return we cheered and plunged into what promised to be a delicious feast of green curry, sticky rice, and pad se-ew. Delicious it was not. The curry was a watery, tasteless mess and the pad se-ew was an oily conglomeration of carrots and little cubed peculiarly not-Thai-like veggies mixed with the strangest pad se-ew noodles I have ever come across. It was awful. So awful that even in my starved state I could not bring myself to eat more than a few bites. So awful that my husband, who eats practically anything and throws away almost nothing, gave me leave to chuck it all into the trash. People obviously like you as your place was packed so we are not sure why the fates frowned upon us on this day. It is strange and confusing and all I can sum it up to is this: It is very possible that if we became serious customers, in the year 2023 on our 130th visit our presence in your restaurant would have sparked a revolution disturbing the fabric of existence resulting in a massive war with extraterrestrials thus ending the world and universe as we know it. And a future ninja alien fighter trooper came back in time and disguised himself as a Rajanee chef and made us the worst Thai food possible to ensure that we would never return, secretly and effectively saving everything we hold dear. Thank you ninja alien fighter trooper. Thank you for saving us with horrible Thai food. Sincerely, Angela

Mililani is a nice town.... With not a lot of food options. And what a lot of people think is "good food" is usually just mediocre because there isn't much comparison with everything else in this town. Well, if you're in Mililani or live in Mililani you shouldn't have to drive a few towns over to get a decent meal. And YES, they have Zippy's, but how many times can you really eat at Zippy's in a month. I honestly get bored of it. I have definitely found my favorite spot to eat whenever we are in Mililani and Rajanee is the spot! My favorites to order are the green curry and pad Thai (it's my favorite at any Thai eatery). Unfortunately, the pad Thai is a hit or miss! I noticed when the owner or one of the older ladies are cooking it's usually good but if someone else is... It's off. The green curry is consistent with a good amount of vegetables and meat, but I sometimes feel like there is too much sauce. Note: limited seating outside, you can call and phone order and it will usually take them about 10-15 minutes to make your food.

  • Ashley O.

There's nothing bad to say. I could tell you what to order but everything is great. The people who make your food are so amazing, and I swear you can taste the love. If you have a hard time finding the place, don't give up! It'll be worth it. Keep up the good work, sharing good food and smiles with your super thankful customers. I'll be back soon!

  • Brooke M.

I really like the Bangkok Night Noodles (with tofu, no eggs...) It's kind of like what pad Thai should be (but usually isn't) - simple, fresh and not loaded up with sauce or extraneous ingredients. It's just rice noodles with green onions, romaine lettuce and tons of black pepper and garlic. Spice level can vary though, but isn't that the problem everywhere? One time you order "hot" and you're coughing and blowing your nose, next time you order "medium" and it's not spicy in the least...Oh well, there's always sriracha. Service here is always fast and friendly as well. One thing that confuses me is that they have both pad kee mao and drunken noodles on the menu. I thought they were the same thing... Anyway, I find myself drawn here nowadays, rather than that other Thai place in Mililani, (not naming any names Phuket Thai) which has gone down the tubes. Some of their other mixed veggie dishes are good too, I think it was the chili basil one that I had...Good stuff.

I am sad to say that the second time we went here I got food poisoning. I had pad Thai went to bed with stomach pain. Woke up at 2 am and lived beside a toilet for an entire day. The food was delicious however I don't think I can ever go back after that traumatizing experience. It was my first time ever getting food poisoning and I hope to never have to go through that again. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

So far, loved everything my husband & I have tried! The drunken noodles with chicken & shrimp went well with the Thai fried rice. Spring rolls are good too but the best so far has got to be the duck with chili basil sauce! A definite must try for anyone who hasn't!!

  • Joanne N.

I am basing this review on the fact that their Green Curry is AMAZING! Very tasty, and spicy. Husband really liked it too! We were in dire need of a great Thai restaurant in Mililani and here it is!! I can't wait to try other dishes. Definitely will be back!

I'm glad Rajanee ended up being a 5 star for me since it's all the way out in Mililani! Location: In the courtyard right of First Hawaiian Bank on the Kuahelani Ave. side of the strip mall. I ordered the Drunken Noodles, but was informed that they ran out of that specific noodle (which is thicker) and that they will use Pad Kee Mao noodles. Honestly, I prefer the thinner noodles. But what made this a 5 star was that they actually made a medium spiciness level taste like a medium! Just enough kick to cause a sweat and cause your noise to run, but not too much where you can't taste anything. The owner (Kenny) and his mother rotate cooking dishes, and their spiciness differs despite ordering the same level.

  • Yasmin N.

I don't like spicy food, so when it comes to Thai food, I feel like a bit of a wimp. I came to Rajanee for the first time today, encouraged by all of the good reviews on yelp. I admit I'm not too adventurous when it comes to Thai food, sticking mostly to my tried-and-true favorites of chicken fried rice, chicken panang curry, and spring rolls. I ordered the chicken fried rice, thinking that I would get a dish similar to what I've tasted at other Thai restaurants (Champa Thai, etc.) I took one bite of the dish and was impressed by the complexity of flavors. It was one of the tastiest fried rice dishes I have ever had. While I was waiting for my order, the owner brought several orders out to people sitting outside. The food looked very appetizing and the aroma emanating from those dishes was tantalizing. I asked the owner what those dishes were and he said that they were pad thai with chicken and bangkok night noodles with shrimp. I will definitely be back to try those dishes, as well as their panang curry and chili basil chicken. The only drawback is that the restaurant only has two tables outside in the courtyard for dine-in customers. But for food this tasty and this reasonably priced, I will happily order takeout.

  • Krissy K.

There's a part of me that is rather blunt. When I want something, I will ask for it. So if you read my previous review for Rajanee, you can see that I shamelessly blackmailed the owners into making me yellow curry fried rice. Well guess what, darlydos? It worked. After my review, I received a very kind message with an apology re: the mistake with my order and a few days later, I noticed the magic words - "yellow curry fried rice" on Rajanee's Facebook page. I called to order some THAT night (along with some pad thai and red curry so that it wouldn't get lonely). And it was just as tasty as I remember from its glory days on the menu at Haleiwa Eats Thai. And here's my 5 star review as promised. Lessons to be learned: 1. Blackmail is effective. 2. My love can be bought. 3. I'm a woman of my word...and my stomach.

This place is a true gem. Amazing friendly staff, terrific fresh food and decent prices for their regular menu items. We went for the first time tonight and couldn't think of a complaint. Outside seating only, but my kids loved that. We will be back for sure!

This place has become my go to for Thai food, finally a quality eatery in Mililani. I love the soft shell crab over drunken noodles so much flavors exploding in your mouth. The duck special is also very good I believe you get your choice of garlic basil sauce or curry I much preferred the garlic basil sauce. Actually I have had several dishes from here and they are all good. It's like your going over your Thai friends house for a home cooked meal!

If you park right in front of the First Hawaiian Bank, look to your right, and keep walking past the first storefront to find this small restaurant. They have some tables outside if you want to dine there. I usually take the food to-go and it comes nice and hot. Ive tried 5 different items and here is my ranking: 1. Pad-se-ew, 2. Bangkok Night Noodles, 3. Pad-ke-mao, 4. Mango sticky rice, 5. Pineapple fried rice. I would order all of them again except the pineapple fried rice. It wasnt horrible, but it just isnt something that I would order again. In my opinion, their best dish has been the pad-se-ew. The people there are super nice and always friendly. My only complaint would be that I think the prices are a bit high. Also, be aware that most of their food has been on the peppery side so if youre not a fan of pepper, you may want to order your food mild. We always get it medium spicy so Im not sure if they add chili peppers and regular pepper to get it to medium. I like it so but my wife likes the peppery-ness less than I do.

Amazing food! Tofu chicken pad thai is awesome. I'v also tried the pad kee Mao with shrimp and that was just soooo good the vegetables were cooked perfectly and it was just the right amount of spice. Iv also tried the Tom ka, I don't really ever eat Thai food but since the day I tried this place I just keep coming back. Everyone must try this place!!!

Just had the Roast Duck with Chili Basil. $15 was a little steep but OH MY GOD! Forget all the other dishes, this is THE one to get. Half a duck (basically full breast sliced plus the leg-thigh) deboned except for the leg-thigh. Both pieces were seared first so the underside (as oppose to the skin side) is nicely brown and flavorful. It was browned so well that even when soaked in the sauce, it was still crunchy. Instead of just pouring sauce over the duck, the duck was cooked in it long enough for the fat under the skin to start to melt. The chili basil sauce was nice and thick but not too oily, tasted a little bit like panang curry. There was an additional tub of roasted chili flakes that I didn't need to use but boy they smell smokey and spicy. Fresh vegetables (zuchini, green bean, red bell pepper) tossed into the sauce last minute rounded out the dish. This dish is now a must get for me if it happens to be on the special menu. Yes, it is that good.

This is truly the best Thai food you can find on the island! My husband loves the seafood/fish plate... I am against the taste of fish... but I have to say I was tempted to try... you can't go wrong with the curry! Best I've ever had, make sure to get it with coconut rice, and save room for the mango rice dessert its the bomb!

This place is delicious. The owner is super nice and seems to really care about his business and customers. It is very small with only 4 tables outside to sit at. I would suggest that you plan to get your food "to-go". Also, its cash only. $24 for 1 app and 2 main dishes. Awesome price. We started with the summer rolls. They were tasty, but loosely put together...which was the only thing I didnt particularly like about them. The peanut sauce they come with was great. I ordered pad kee mao (spicy) w/chicken. The noodles were fabulous and the best I've had on Oahu. They were the smaller/thin noodles. For the first time, I actually finished my heaping mound of delicious Thai food. I ordered spicy, but it could have used a bit more heat for my liking. Ill get some spicy chili sauce on the side next time. Jennifer ordered the panang curry w/white rice. It was very delicious also and we liked that it came with more veggies than other places we've tried. We will definitely be back. Rajanee makes my top 2 out of 5 for sure.

Finally got to go to the actual restaurant! Yayyy! It's a super small hole-in-the-wall type place tucked in Mililani that deserves good mention. The food here is spectacular -- the selection is pretty limited, but what they do serve is delicious. You can tell it's family owned and everyone there is super super friendly. Definitely thumbs up for this! Their soft shell crab over drunken noodles was delicious. Very well-seasoned, and the crab was delicious. I had their battered fish again and it never ceases to put a smile on my face. The steak was pretty good too -- loved the seasoning but it was a bit more on the tough side. They definitely give A LOT of steak for the price you pay though! I can't wait to come back again!

My family eats at Rajanee regularly so we've tried nearly everything on the menu. Favorites include regular and pineapple fried rice, Drunken Noodles with soft shell crab, Bangkok Night Noodles, Green Curry, and the limited time only Gado-Gado vegetarian salad. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Credit cards are accepted.

i must agree the papaya salad was forgettable, too much hidden lemon slices. But, the chicken pad thai was damn good. I mean the noodles weren't sticky and almost al dente like? the flavor was so delish! for $8 the portion was great. I think word is out about this place because I came during lunch time and it was getting busy. I didn't have to wait long but, I'm so glad I tried the food here. Way better than Phuket Pad Thai thats for sure! I'll be back.

This place is okay, I ate here probably expecting too much based off the other yelp reviews. I tried the yellow curry, papaya salad, and a chili fish dish that was recommended to me by the cashier. The papaya salad came out extremely spicy though we ordered an average level of spiciness. Also the fish that we ordered was not very good, the fish was pretty flimsy and fell apart on my fork. I have had much better chili fish dishes elsewhere. The curry was on par with some other restaurants but not anything special. It was the only dish here I sort of enjoyed. Overall this place is kinda meh in my book. It's not as special as I thought it would be. The service was very friendly however. The restaurant has very little seating so I'd say it's mostly takeout only. Also the prices are okay as the servings aren't really that much food as well.

I consider myself a Thai-Snob and am pretty particular about the quality of Thai food I shovel into my cake-hole. Green Curry and Pad Thai. I base my rating of Thai spots on those two entrees, and this place delivers on both! When I tasted the Pad Thai, I cried a little inside...*tear*...I've been looking everywhere on this damn tiny rock for a decent rendition, and have finally found the champion (with Sala Thai's version pulling in a close second). I ordered it spicy, which is the only way to order it IMO, and it tasted like awesome-covered-goodness with meth sprinkled on top 'cuz I ate it as fast as a chronic-smokes-ice. The Green Curry was great as well, spicy and coco-nutty, and had all the traditional vegetables, i.e. eggplant, string beans, yellow/red peppers and to my surprise zucchini! Its kind of hard to find if your not familiar with Mililani or have never been to Lum's before (it's to the right of First Hawaiian bank from the street, you can't see it from the street though) Besides a lame-o-location and only two outside tables, this is probably the best spot on the island for Thai food...that I've found so far. PS- the owner/cashier/cook is cooler than a polar bears toenails.

I have been going to Phuket Thai in town center for years, but will definitely be going here for all my Thai cravings from now on!!!! EVERYTHING is great!!!! Food, people, service. Left full and happy! Slightly hidden though, it's on the back side of that shopping center where FHB and Goodyear are. Just walk through the little hallway in between the two and it's by Edward Jones and the tattoo shop. Worth seeking out!!!

Amazing food, affordable prices, and quick and courteous service! Tonight I ordered the tom yum soup, yellow curry, and spring rolls...everything was delicious and I have plenty of leftovers since they are closed on Sundays. I can't wait to try more items on their menu, including the desserts that others have raved out (mango sticky rice and deep fried ice cream)

We love Rajanee Thai, Chef Kenny, and his whole crew! I have been meaning to write a review for a while and keep getting side tracked. Today I ordered the mango sticky rice for the first time and I have to tell you.. that stuff was amazing. I was sad when I ran out! I didn't expect to eat the entire dessert by myself but I couldn't stop myself. Absolutely amazing. The mangoes were sweet and with the gooey, sweet, but not too sweet rice, it was a party in my mouth. So here I am, ready to rave about this place because that mango sticky rice just made me excited! First of all, let me say how wonderful and kind the owner is! He remembered us on our next visit and could even tell us what we had ordered. Kenny is knowledgeable about his food and I love that his family is there supporting him and working along with him. Don't see what you like on the menu? Ask. He'll most likely make it for you without question. Portions are great, price is affordable. Thai food as leftovers (usually for breakfast because I'm that in love with it) is the best and we always end up with more than enough for the next couple of meals. We don't stray too far from the basics because I know what I want and I like what I want. I get the red curry (gang gai) with chicken, spicy!! (It's not on the menu, but like I said.. ask!! I did, and I'm SOLD) I like my thai food hot. Spicy is pretty hot. More like medium to Thai that I have had in the mainland, but still packs a good kick. I'll have to try it a little hotter sometime. Kenny always offers little packs of red pepper to add to make it hotter. I'm not always brave enough to add it myself. I have put a pinch or two in when it doesn't seem too spicy. The curry is different than places I've been to back home. Amazing, but different. It's a bit heavier, but I find it more enjoyable that way. The basil and kefir lime leaves give it a great flavor boost. I can't have curry without pad thai. My parents have ordered it that way my whole life. I love pouring my curry over the noodles and eating the rice on the side. Rajanee's chicken pad thai is fantastic as well! It's authentic. Not the soupy pad thai you find back on the mainland or the pad thai that's covered in ketchup (??) either. Medium kicks my butt and remember, I like spicy. It makes my red curry reach a perfect level of spice. The chicken is tender and I love the peanuts on top. I'm still trying to convince my husband to eat it that way as well. Peanuts on the side will probably be the way we order it from now on. We've tried a few other items on the menu, but I'm not as crazy about them as my red curry. They're all delicious, but just not what I want when I'm ordering Thai. Ginger chicken is very gingery! I like ginger, but you definitely have to love ginger to love this dish. Thai fried rice is a favorite of my husbands, but he still sticks to Pad Thai. The pad kee mao is great! Lots of vegetables and the chicken is always done to perfection. We like the spring rolls as well (they usually end up eaten by the time we get home because we can't keep our hands out of the take-out bag.). The chicken satay is alright, the peanut sauce is yummy! My Thai friend visited me a few weeks back, ordered basil chicken, and gave it three thumbs up! Also.. try the spicy calamari! Another favorite of my husband's. He loves the sweet chili sauce. It has a bit of a kick when ordered mild, but not enough that even a wimp like him can enjoy it. Please check this place out! You'll be hooked in no time! We've tried a few other places in the neighborhood and nothing can compare. Best place around as far as I'm concerned! :)

Rajanee a new take out Thai restaurant in Mililani. I put it through a my standard Thai test of beef pad thai and chicken panang. It passed with flying colors. The chicken panang and beef pad thai both tasted great. Everything was fresh and made on the spot. Even though I ordered both entrees mild the panang still had a little kick to it, which was good. I can't wait to try it hot. What really makes this place stand out is the customer service. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. One of those people who you just want to see do well. He said he named the place after his mom because she taught him everything. Awwwww how tender. As I remember he said it was pronounced "raw-je-knee". In my mind I was pronouncing it "ray-jah-nae". I think he did a good thing with the menu by keeping it simple and not having a million things to choose from. Several classic Thai dishes at reasonable prices. I'm looking forward to returning.

Back again! I cannot stop with the Tofu Pad Thai. Chalking up the heat a little bit this time though. If you still haven't stopped by, you're way paste over due. Get some authentic Thai cuisine!

Over the weekend, I went with a friend to check out a restaurant that I've never tried before, Rajanee Thai Cuisine in Mililani Shopping Center. I'm a huge fan of Thai food in general, having eaten in many restaurants here and abroad, though to my shame I can't handle the more extreme spiciness options. The restaurant is tucked away behind a row of business offices, and would most likely be classified as "hole-in-the-wall" as it mainly consists of a counter where you order your food, a kitchen visible from said counter, and a few tables outside the restaurant that would probably seat a maximum of four families. My friend and I ordered a green curry and the pad thai, both with chicken and medium-level spice. We ordered and paid for our food at the counter, then the food was brought out to our table. That was pretty much the only interaction we had with the lone server; he took our orders competently and efficiently so no complaints here. The food was very reasonably priced, both dishes under $10. Now, on to the food! The green curry was filled with plenty of chicken and vegetables, spiced just enough that we were happily warm and not engulfed in a flaming volcano of pain and peppers. The peppers brought out the flavors in the dish but didn't overpower them. My friend particularly liked the eggplant, as it was cooked to perfection and not a soggy and shapeless lump. The pad thai was nothing special, although they do give large portions. Lots of noodles and chicken, but was less spicy than the curry even though we'd ordered them both to be spicy. This heat level was more of a slight afterthought instead of the kick that I was expecting. Overall I definitely recommend this place, would definitely come here again and try more of their delicious curries!

Yes! Another restaurant option in Mililani! Tried it tonight for the first time, and my first impression was pretty good. I think it compares favorably with most other Thai food on Oahu (Sorry Phuket, but you are too Americanized for my taste buds). The papaya salad had fish sauce and dried shrimp with plenty of lime, giving it a strong but tasty flavor. Excellent! The battered fried fish with chili sauce was excellent as well, I think it was mahi mahi, and they were generous with the portion of fish. Shrimp pad thai was good, more savory than sweet, and not too oily. Since I got the food to go, the pad thai was cold by the time I ate it, and it would have been better fresh from the wok. Please patronize this restaurant and ensure that we have good food options in Mililani!

It's pretty funny that i stumbled upon this food gem in Mililani on accident. I was wondering who took the spot where Lum's inn used to be so i checked it out. While peeping through the window i hear, "Kaweeks!". And what do you know, it's my good friend Kenny from Haleiwa Eats!!! Mang was i stoked! I knew he was opening a new spot but i didn't realize it was right there. Kenny is good people. Super friendly and that buggah cooks up some killer thai food. On to the food. I've had exstensive research of his menu when i used to eat at Haleiwa Eats. The dude is always super cool enough to whip up new things to try everytime i eat there. I've ate almost everything on the menu and have never been dissapointed. Everything's good! I know it sounds like a biased statement but seriously it is that good. If i had to choose one thing to be my favorite it would be the Calamari. They do good calamari. Hopefully it gets added to the menu at this location soon. My favorite that they do have on the menu there is the battered fish with thai chili basil topping. you will not be dissappointed with this dish. Today i had the Shrimp Pad Thai along with a plate of some Green curry fish. Both were super dilicious! I've also had the spicy eggplant and the Bangkok night noodles. I don't really care for eggplant because i hate when they're undercooked, tough and chewy. The spicy eggplant i had was awesome. Soft and tasty chunks. LOL. Bangkok noodles was also bomb! Rice noodle, egg, tofu, shrimp and garlic goodness! The food is good and Kenny and family are really cool people. The dude is always positive and cooks his dishes from the heart. Everytime we've ordered it seems like he takes the time to make it individually special. If you love Thai food then you must try Rajanee. Good food definately made with Aloha.

More Thai food options in the Mililani area! The cashier/owner confidently knew which item they could or could not alter to be gluten-free vegan. Not sure what authentic Thai food tastes like but this is how I would imagine it to taste like. Can't wait to try other items on their menu!

When this place first opened, my first thought was why in the world would anyone choose to have a take out place where no one can find it? Well...word of mouth! We finally decided try this place so I called in a phone order. About 20 minutes later, we went to pick up the following. Papaya salad Panang curry w/chicken Bankok night noodles Cashew chicken Thai fried rice The service was friendly and most of the prices were fair for what we got. Mom enjoyed the papaya salad, yes it was vey good but the portion was very small. Only enough for two small appetites really, but we made it work. The panang curry was really delicious! I guess it was on the sweeter side which I am partial to. I couldn't get enough of this delicious concoction! Mom doesn't like curry but tried it anyway...still didn't like curry. Hubs and teen son enjoyed it although both thought it was quite spicy, even though I ordered everything mild! Weird because I normally do not like spicy but this one was so good! The bankok night noodles was pretty spicy with all the pepper, but was tasty and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Moms favorite is cashew chicken, this is why I ordered it. I didn't realize that this dish came with two scoops of rice (as did the curry) otherwise I wouldn't have ordered the thai fried rice. While the cashew chicken was tasty, it was a bit salty. The thai fried rice was tasty and came with a few pieces of shrimp on top. Overall we enjoyed the food but our all time favorite Thai restaurant is Siam Garden on Nimitz. We will definitely come back again!

I got on a Thai food kick last year after eating Opals and Bangkok Chef a lot! I moved to Mililani and was dying to find a good Thai place close by that wasn't a sit down restaurant. And this what the place for me. I went with the Yelp reviews and ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, medium spicy and red curry with chicken, medium spicy. I LOVE spicy food and this was just the right amount of spicy for me. It was a little much for my boyfriend so I would say order mild spicy and get extra on the side if you aren't sure that you want that much spice. The drunken noodles come with lots of fresh veggies and can either feed on extremely hungry person or it can be lunch and a snack later on in the day. I have gotten it at least 15 times and I would say maybe 3 times it wasn't up to par. The red curry is amazingggg when its done its best. Its so creamy and full of flavor with lots of veggies and chicken. There are sometimes when it seems like they are missing a key ingredient or someone else is cooking because it doesn't even taste half as good. And its definitely worth the $3 to get the sticky rice. It works so perfect with the curry. If I go by myself I always get the curry over the noodles. So in my 20+ times getting the curry I would say its right 90% of the time, which keeps me coming back for more. And the people that work there are super friendly and helpful. Make you feel like they've known you forever. I wish I could give this place a 5 but I have to go with a 4 because sometimes the food is just not quite right.

Worst Thai food we ever ate. We are avid readers of Nadine Kam's reviews but Nadine, you got this one wrong. We made an effort to find this place last night and were excited when we eventually found it. The owner cited and bragged about the Star Advertiser review and told us everything they have is very good. We ordered take out soft shell crab with noodles ($13) and the yellow curry with chicken ($9 with white rice -- they do not serve brown rice). Felt the price was a bit costly for what is basically a take out place but we don't mind paying for good food and we like trying out new eating places. Unfortunately, as soon as we tasted both entrees, we were overwhelmed with regret. Both dishes were just overly and revoltingly sweet --- we ended up throwing them out. What a let down! If you don't want to be disappointed, go to the newly opened Thai Town Cafe in Kalihi instead -- consistently excellent, authentic and reasonably priced Thai food every time --- and the owner and chef (Lumphai) who used to cook for the excellent Siam Garden (Nimitz) and Souvaly Thai (Pearl City) is very sweet and accommodating.

I have to say that having Rajanee nearby is the best thing about living in Mililani. I still love their cooking just as much as when I first stopped in 2 years ago. Their curry consistently gets full scores in my book. My personal favorites are the Battered Fish with chili basil and Roast Duck with panang curry. The noodle dishes come out perfectly cooked and survive the 10 minute drive home up to Mauka; I like the pad see ew with chicken. I especially appreciate the level of flavor soaked into the meats. Whether it be beef or fowl, it always has their robust taste saturating every piece (in a great, never-ever-dry/chalky-kinda way). Roast Duck!

I can see why people like this place! My husband and I visited this afternoon for the first time. We both LOVE red curry so that's what we both got. It was only $9 each for a delicious bowl of curry mixed with TONS of different veggies (they were very generous with the food portion). They also give two scoops of white rice with your meal which is a big plus (most places charge a couple extra bucks.) The people in the kitchen clearly know what they're doing as the food was good and clearly fresh. I also have to add the lady that works the cash register is extremely friendly and helpful. The only reason I give this place a 4 star instead of a 5 is the environment. This is not a typical sit down and eat place although they have a few tables outside. My husband and I really enjoy our dates at Thai food restaurant's because of the environment. It's usually peaceful, not too loud, and the service is always excellent. If you are looking for cheap, friendly, quick, yummy place to grab Thai, you have found your place! Will be back!!!

I never knew this place existed, even after living in Mililani for a few years, definitely hidden away. I thought the food was superb and reasonably priced. A limited menu, but what they offer they do well. Looking forward to eating here again! Service was helpful and friendly which is always a plus.

In my review of Eat the Street Mililani yelp.com/biz/eat-the-str… I mentioned that the best thing I ate was the pad thai noodles with chicken from Rajanee Thai Cuisine. After leaving the event that day, I had every intention of seeking out the restaurant to have more of these flavorful noodles one day. Today was the day. I woke up from a nap craving the pad thai noodles from Rajanee. I called in my order: pad thai noodles with chicken and an order of spring rolls. The lady who answered was very pleasant. She said my order would be ready in about twenty minutes. I got there twenty minutes later, and my food was waiting for me. The cashier was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. My total was $14 plus change. I was very pleased with my food. For $3, I got four spring rolls that were half the size of lumpia. I am mentioning this only because I have seen spring rolls sold at another Thai food establishment that were about the same size as lumpia rolls. Okay, and I'll admit it. Maybe I don't want people thinking that I ate four lumpia-sized spring rolls PLUS pad thai noodles in one sitting, so I wanted to point out that these were short spring rolls and not long ones. LOL In any event, the four (short) spring rolls were just the right amount to go with my pad thai noodles which did not disappoint. Just as they were at the Eat the Street event, the noodles were extremely tasty with just the right amount of crunch provided by the finely chopped peanuts. The portion was adequate for the $8 price. It would have been enough to share with one or two other people along with another dish or two. The only disappointment in my meal was the fact that they had run out of sticky rice. I love sticky rice and so does my toddler. But, in all fairness, I went around 7:30 at night, and they close at 8 pm. Next time, I will try to go earlier to ensure a better chance of getting some sticky rice with my order. I will definitely be returning to Rajanee over and over again. I'm looking forward to trying the softshell crab on drunken noodles next. The coconut rice sounds interesting, too. I'm so glad these guys were at Eat the Street. Otherwise, I probably never would have checked them out.

Thai food is my favorite Asian cuisine. I love the curries and noodle dishes. My favorite here is the Pad Kee Mao. They use the rice noodles that I am used to in this dish. Other places in Oahu have used the chow fun noodles which are too thick for my liking. My only complaint is the inconsistency of spiciness. We ordered spicy a week ago and it was medium at best. I ordered spicy two days ago and it was extra hot. The flavors are great and they use lots of veggies which I love. I will definitely be coming back.

This tucked away hidden gem is a must for Thai food. I've been here several times, each time ordering something different and so far the food has never failed to please the taste buds. The staff is always friendly and there is ample parking. Seating is limited, but the food comes in take out containers for your convenience. This is definitely one of my favorite spots for Thai food.

Rajanee Thai Cuisine approach to Thai food has got to be one of the most amazing blends providing us with a commercial style presentation and the simplicity of a home-cooked meal leaving minimal damage to your wallet, I say that because the two chef's consist of a mother and son duo: Kenny adding a unique sense of "fashion" or modern day twist to the food's presentation while his mother brings it all together providing the authentic taste that makes it so irresistible. The restaurant reminds me of the boardwalk at Venice Beach, CA. The must order: Summer rolls, Thai fried rice with shrimp, Papaya salad, and Pad Thai with chicken. If you are cannot handle spicy food, I suggest you stay with the mild and bring it all together with some Thai-Tea! Can't wait to go there again!

I've only been here 3 or 4 times, but this is one of Mililani's best kept secrets. A little whole in the wall spot with a couple of outside table's, Rajanee Thai Cuisine is a friendly little spot that pumps out legit, home-made Thai food. Call in your order to have it ready when you get there or wait a mere 15 minutes and get it piping hot to go!

Delicious food!!! We went to try the chicken panang and pad Thai noodles both with chicken. The panang was creamy and so much better than other Thai restaurants that we have been to. There were lots of vegetables and a good sized portion. Pad Thai noodles were yummy!!! Lots of flavor. I have to add in there that my BF is really picky and is not easily impressed with food. But this place will now be our go to place for Thai food! Prices were very reasonable. Very friendly people there!

Craaaaaving Thai food... and um... yes, I'm Thai... but HEY... I was uber tired after working a long shift... and Mommy wasn't in the mood for cookin ether... and since my cheap fave Bangkok Chef was too far away... and my expensive fave Souvaly was too far away... I came to YELP to HELP me out! :) Found Rajanee Thai Cuisine... Located in the shopping complex across from Foodland... near ASB and Jack in the Box... near First Hawaiian Bank... more of a takeout joint... two tables outside and no sitting room inside... and a must know, it's CASH only... for now I'm assuming??... Male in his 30's??... was behind the counter to greet me... super friendly guy! I told him I needed a few minutes to check out the menu... it's a fairly small menu... few appetizers, couple noodle dishes, couple rice dishes, some curry, and some meats... I inquired about "fish cake" and he had to ask his mom in the back... but nope, they don't serve fish cake... he said it's a timely process to make (yup! I know... that's why I'm tryna BUY it instead of MAKE it!) ;-) but maybe later they'll have some?! so strike ONE for me... no RED curry on the menu... strike TWO for me... sigh... so I opted to try the pad thai with chicken... the chicken satay... and a side of sticky rice to go... The sticky rice is nothing special; just good ol Thai sticky rice. The chicken satay skewers; you get 3 of them with peanut sauce. It was okay to me. A LOT of curry and the meat was... too tender?? Like I wanted to chew it more but it kinda dissolved in my mouth. Eh I dunno... it was A-OK.... 2.5 stars/5... As for the pad Thai... I got that with chicken and MEDIUM... and the portion was okay. Bangkok Chef gives more for the same price but it was an okay size... it was the bomb diggity!!! FULL of flavor! Lots of tamarind sauce, lots of spice, and enough veggies... EXCEPT there wasn't enough tofu... :( I heart tofu and there just wasn't enough of it for me.... ok ok... so for the pad thai I'd give it a 4.5/5 stars... put more tofu and it'd be a 5/5! Service... exceptional. The guy at the front is super nice and you can tell it's a homey, comforting, family owned restaurant. I just hope as they continue to grow... they'll add red curry and fish cake to the menu! :)

Hard to believe that it's been two years since I first reviewed this place. I want you to know that the food is as good as it was two years ago. In fact it is better. They've added some new dishes, added more tables if you prefer to eat there and they now take credit cards. Your body will thank you because the food is fresh and your mouth will thank you because it is really flavorful. Consistency is the key to a successful restaurant and this place has it.

Awesome place! Great prices! Friendly staff!! Mostly take-out, limited seating. Drunken noodles are wicked amazing!!! Panang curry was yummmo! Pad Thai was good (not the best, but still yum:) Bangkok night noodles were my daughters fav dish! definitely a must go to. It is a drive for us, but we will be back for sure!!!

My first visit to this establishment and my last. The food was okay. The food is not affordable for takeout. My drunken noodles (OK) were $13. My Ginger Chicken (Meh) was $9 had only one scope of food, so small. Green Curries (Not good at all) $9. Service was super rude for me. After order our food to go they told us it would take 15 minutes. After 25 minutes we ask how much longer because we need to go pickup my son at a basketball court and I got an answer that "We make food to order and it's not fast food." Told her that not the answer we were looking for. She looks mad at us. After waiting for 12 more minutes and ask again. This time I told her that if it's going to take more than 10 more minutes then I would go pickup my sons and come back. She was so rude and say go pickup your son and come back it's going to take 10-15 more minutes. I was super anger at this point. No apology or anything. We understand your restaurant is super busy and you don't need my business anymore. I wish you the best. Keep this up and you will not have any more customers soon. Food maybe 2-3 Star Service -10 Star My first post.

Went back again with a vegan friend, and for those of you out there who don't eat anything with a face, THEY WILL MAKE YOU ANYTHING VEGAN. Yeah, that's what the man said. Wait for the food was approximately 12 minutes (I clocked 'em, after seeing all the hunger-anger from other Yelpers who reported waiting), which was fine w/us AND the baby. Prefer a small wait and fresh food to order vs. old and busted food that comes out as I'm still ordering, anyways. Mom is still rocking the kitchen, I think--unless they hired another older Asian woman with the same hairstyle and height to man the stove (hey, it could happen), so the food is still consistent. Ordered the stir fry and coconut rice, onions on the side; Thai tea. Vegan friend ordered the tofu salad, minus onions and garlic and specified VEGAN. After tasting my Thai tea, which was very floral that day for some reason, she went back and ordered her own, which was a pretty big deal for someone who drinks mostly water. And she was happy w/their vegan tofu, which was very very cool, because I have seen her able to taste when there is any kind of meat flavoring or a dirty pan used. Other places will not clean the grill/pan when you order vegan (talkin' boutCHU, Kyoto in Pearl Ridge Uptown Food Court!), which p***es off vegans in general, I have learned. If you live the lifestyle, it apparently ain't cool to have the spatula/grill/cookware be covered in meat juices when they make your food. I guess it's the same as if you weren't a cannibal and found out that your non-human plate was cooked on the same flattop that they cook humans on...But I digress. Food brought out to us with a smile and still steamy, steamy, steamy. Offered chopsticks or a fork, and napkins were plentiful. Table was clean and we saw them cleaning the tables several times in the short time we were there, too. No dirty rags or water--used paper towels and spray bottle cleaner which didn't smell scary or stink; looked like they clean their tables the way they would do it if they were home, which is really nice. Bottom line: customer service is still spot-on. Food prices stable; no change since last update (wish they were in charge of gas prices!). And now learned they do vegan. Yup. Still awesome, Rajanee. We'll keep going back.

I've heard great things about this place, and had some take out at work the other day that I was assured was vegan. I wanted to try more, so I checked out the reviews here and on Urban Spoon, where they are listed as 'vegan friendly'. Well yelp friends, vegan friendly they are NOT. I told the guy at the counter that I was excited to learn about a Thai place that was willing to make vegan versions. The counter guy was all smiles about it. I asked for Drunken Noodles with Tofu, and no fish sauce to make it vegan. He said something to the effect of 'oh, wait, you mean like really vegan? No, we can't do that, because there is fish or oyster sauce in every dish'. Uhhhhh..... then what did I eat the other day? Bummer. (Just out of curiosity, why would I ask for vegan if I didn't mean really vegan???) He then went on to tell me that they had to preserve the integrity of the food - evidently my person ethics are of no value. We thanked him for his honest - and that honesty is why they are getting 3 stars. I've had other Thai places flat out lie to me about what's in the food. Evidently, chicken broth is considered a vegetable in Thailand. ;) So, the food I had was really good - but they are not vegan friendly despite the hype. 3 stars right down the middle, even though I'm super bummed. PS. We drove down to Souvalay in Pearl City where they are happy to accommodate my requests, and offer advice and insight regarding which entrees will work best with the flavor of fish sauce, etc. Love me some Souvalay!

After reading all the reviews on this place, we finally went to try it. It's tucked away in Mililani, near jack in the box and roy sakuma's. The menu is kind of small but the food was good. It is mostly a take out place, with only 2 tables outside to sit on. What we ate: Drunken noodles - very tasty, we got it medium and it was pretty hot, lots of vegetables in it, lots of green beans, not enough noodles. Asked for the shrimp on the side and they happily did it. Overall - very good! Bangkok night noodles - very tasty, too little veges, needed to add chili sauce. Overall - very good! Spring rolls - I liked it, but my gf didn't. She said it tasted like frozen spring rolls. 1 order gives you 4 small spring rolls. Overall - not bad. The owner was sitting down outside so we actually got to meet him. Very nice guy. His mom is one of the cooks. He's also the owner of Haleiwa Eats. What I really wanted to eat was pad siew, but they don't have it there. He said sometimes they can make it if they have the ingredients. All in all, I will definitely be back.

I wanted to like it. The hubs has been on a kick trying to impress me with his picks. He doesn't like Thai food, but he knows I do, so he's always on the look out for a place that I'll like. The reviews were good. I ordered the yellow curry with shrimp (medium) so I could compare with Thai Village, which is my current favorite. When I opened the curry, I was already worried. It felt somewhat gelatinous. I tasted it and thought the initial taste was too sweet. I liked the spicy kick, but I didn't like the texture. I also didn't like that the curry only had potato and onions. The rice that came with it was quite mushy. (I like that Thai Village's default rice is jasmine, which pairs nicely with the curry.) The service at the counter was friendly. I just wasn't impressed with the food. I won't visit this restaurant again, not when Thai Village is a stone's throw away.

Sorry Kenny, my wife and I drove to Opal Thai and they were closed on a Thursday! That's what we get for our betrayal! Anyway, we went straight to your place the same day and glad we did. You weren't there but the kid up front was as courteaous as ever and the food was fanastic! We can't get past the green curry and papaya salad. I promise to try the soft shell crab with drunken noodles next time.

We love this place! Everything we have had is wonderful. The only down side is that the food is so good that you can really overeat (portions are generous). Robert and Michelle are both friendly and helpful and Robert's mom (with help) does the cooking. We have had almost everything on the menu and it is all just delicious. They will also do "special" things for you (like vegetarian fried rice). The fried rice is great and the vegetables are fresh and crisp. We try to get here every week...that is how good it is!

Don't be misled by this simple, "hole in the wall' takeout spot in Mililani. Rajanee's flavors are sophisticated and authentic thai in every way. I would call it "elevated Thai" and of a much higher caliber than the run-of-the-mill Thai spots in town. Panang curry had just the right nuance of flavor and spiciness and the papaya salad was the freshest I've had. Pad thai was suberb. Go out of your way to try this gem!

Heck, 5 stars? Why not? Rajanee brought me out of the Yelp graveyard to ensure the utmost of props go to them. I used to drive all the way out to Siam Garden on Nimitz to get tasty Thai, but I found the hidden gem that is Rajanee right in my 'hood, and it's all good. First things first: the Pad Thai was nothing special to remember, but it was delish. However plain it may have been, however, it was the standard. I like more peanuts, and it seemed to lack in flavor, but not that badly. What it lacked in flavor, it made up for in spiciness. (I got it in hot mode) Dang! That was a nice burn! Good looking out for me :D All in all, it was a delightful meal that had some minor shortcomings. I know you Rajanneeans who work there scope the yelp reviews, and I know that the best restauranteurs take constructive criticism and fix it. Now for the meat and potatoes, ahem, fish and curry of my 5 stars: I ordered the green curry with battered fish. Can I get a "what! what!"? Amazing. Simply amazing. And I have no shame giving my wife a kiss directly after consumption. I'll digress with a previous Yelpee that two scoops rice isn't enough. Time to man/woman up! Two was plenty kine good for me. The curry was wonderfully creamy, and there were just enough veggies (zucchini, green beans, and red peppers?) to crush your friends at Farmbook at or whatever it's called. The fish was perfectly battered and it wasn't too greasy, which would have ruined the curry. So mad shout-outs to the pros in the kitchen. That was pure Thailand all up in my grill, and I loved every phuking minute of it. All in all, Rajanee rocked my socks off. It was a first time a-ok, and I'll be back. One note though: whatever level of spicyness you choose, be prepared to get one notch higher. Plan for that, and you'll be good- to-go. As for me? I'm the king of spice, so no harm :D€ (me breathing fire!)

As a resident of Mililani for my entire life, I honestly had never been to this side of Mililani Shopping Center except for Jack in the Box. I'll say this now, Rajanee is a hidden gem of a restaurant and a VERY good one at that. I've went here on two occasions and both times, the experience was great. I've tried two dishes thus far and couldn't be happier. On the first visit, I asked the owner what he would recommend. He said the Green Curry Fish. At $10, and the most expensive menu item, it seemed a bit pricey. However, I trusted his judgment (him being the owner and all) and ordered it. I can see why he recommended it, IT'S crazy GOOD! Albeit a lot of the heavy side with fried fish and a coconut milk-based green curry, the flavors just explode in your mouth and the crunchy, soft, spicy, creamy, things going on as you chew and swallow make it worth way more than the ticket price. Take away the styrafoam plate and dress it up a bit, this dish would easily go for waaaaay more than $10! Seriously, TRY THIS! (On a side note, it's pretty spicy. I recommend getting the yellow or red curry if you can't handle the heat.) On the second visit, I felt a little pad thai-ey so that's what I ordered. It wasn't the best I ever had, but it was good and they gave quite a bit. However, the one complaint I have for Rajanee is that their vegetable plates leave something to be desired, which really stops them from getting another star. At $8, I would expect a little more quantity, especially on the vegetables. The flavors are there, my friend's Basil shrimp and my girlfriend's eggplant were great, the flavors and cooking technique were there, but the quantity when compared to the other dishes is very different. Despite that small smudge, Rajanee is a must go! Curry fish is crazy awesome! I highly recommend trying this place out, even if you don't like the heat, or never had thai food. Not everything is hot and it is definitely good food. Treat yourself to a new cultural experience in the heart of Mililani Shopping Center, your tummy will want to come back for more.

Owner and cashiers are VERY helpful and personable at this family business. The food is A+ and portions are very generous (I've never finished a plate in one sitting.) In love with the yellow curry battered fish.

Hands down the best Thai food I've eaten and I've been around the block a couple of times. Chili Basil is a choice you should have first. That Chili Basil should be on everything...its that good. Green curry with shrimp was creamy and smooth tasting. Their Phat Thai was the boss! It wasn't sweet like other places, it had the right taste for anyone to eat the whole serving. The wife enjoyed the green papaya salad. I'm a fan and I will return every week for my Phat Thai fix. Come to think about it, I must try the roast duck with chili basil at my next visit.

I don't like dishing out 5 Stars to any ol' restaurant. Therefore I have to dine there a few times in order to get a feel for the food, décor etc. For some reason I always end up purchasing the Chili Basil with Roasted Duck. Anybody who has followed my listed reviews on Yelp know that I get pretty ecstatic when conversing about eating either duck or Thai food. This fine establishment does both and does it well! The duck is always tasty and has the right amount of crisp. The chili basil adds that extra spice to it that really kicks it off. I think that this is the best roasted duck you can find on the island. Another meal I've tried was the soft shell crab over drunken noodles. It was good but I always go back to the duck. Every time I drink the Thai Iced Tea from here, I always flashback to the first time I've ever had it and that's a good thing. Love this place! Oh yeah, I forgot to add.. Rajanee's now accepts Debit/Credit Cards, finally.

Really really good Thai food... not island good- mainland good! I have been missing my Thai takeout spots since moving to Mililani... Rajanee to the rescue! Everyone is correct that the green curry is good. After wandering the shopping plaza to find the location for lunch, we ordered green curry with chicken, basil garlic with shrimp, and beef pineapple fried rice. We received piping hot to-go containers that contained great curry, wonderfully spiced shrimp and veggies, and the best fried rice I have ever had. The rice had chunks of quality beef, chunk pineapple, peanuts, green onions, etc... so flavorful and worth purchasing. The food used seasonal fresh vegetables and had good seasoning and appropriate heat. FYI's~ *Walk up counter for ordering with one table *Use the cement stairs and ridges to sit while you wait *Wine and and beer shop around corner *Across for Hawaiian bank- but store front faces other direction within plaza *Cash *Most items $8

I would definitely recommend this place to all...the food is good, I mean really good. One of the best things about this place is the fact that because it's a family run business, the personalization in taking your order is fabulous. The gentleman that is always there to take my order is really friendly as well as attentive to what I want in my dishes. I will go back definitely whenever I have a craving for Thai food. After having Phuket Thai for so long here in Mililani, it is very refreshing to have authentic Thai food for a change. If there was anything that I would recommend, it would be any one of the curries. You can't go wrong there.

A few things impressed me about Rajnee Thai during our trip there for lunch today. The first thing that impressed me was how hard it was to find. I think we drove past every store in that shopping complex twice before we found it. We finally had to park and ask someone where it was located (around the back side of the shopping complex). The next thing that impressed me was how tiny the restaurant is. It really is a take-out type place. They have only two tables and four chairs. Not four chairs per table, four chairs total! And those tables and chairs are located on the sidewalk out front. The third thing that really impressed me was how nice the lady who took our order was. She was amazing... all smiles... very friendly and very much wanting to please. If I were simply rating her, she'd get 5-stars! A couple of things didn't impress me: most notably, the food. It was okay but not impressive. I had the pad Thai. The noodles were a little rubbery and it lacked zing. Perhaps, I should have asked for it to be made spicy. We had another dish, but I don't recall what it was called. It was a battered fish with curry sauce and I liked it about as much as I did the pad Thai. Well actually, when I had my leftovers later, I discovered the aforementioned nice lady had added a couple extra containers of curry sauce. I poured these to my leftover fish, and that it made it considerably better. We also had appetizers: satay chicken and summer rolls. These were the two extremes of the meal. I really liked the satay, but did not like the summer rolls at all. They were all cabbage and wrapper. The second thing that failed to impress me was the price. It was reasonable, but certainly not impressively cheap. If I ever go back to Rajnee Thai, it will probably only be because the lady working there was so nice. And If I do, I will order smarter next time.

I love having Rajanee within walking distance of my home (yes I'm that lucky). I've eaten there many times and the food is always good. Not the absolute highest best, but no where near the highest price either. Definiately a GREAT value. Don't forget to get some mango and sticky rice for dessert. The owner and the girl who works the counter are super cool and fun to talk to. I have only two MINOR quibbles - They could use a higher quality coconut milk as the stuff they use seems a bit on the thin side (still tasty but could be better). At least the thinner milk is healthier as it doesn't have as much fat. The other thing is the heat levels. I personally LOVE hot food. If I were the only one ordering I'd order it hot - and probably be sweating profusely with a huge grin by the time I finished. However, my wife can't handle it as hot as I can so I usually order medium when we get Thai food. Rajanees medium is as hot as many other places "hot". There have been times she couldn't eat much of the food because it was too hot for her. So if you can't handle fairly high heat you might want to go for the mild. oh - and please start serving sticky rice with curries! Regular rice doesn't cut it with Thai food =)

Located in the complex where First Hawaiian Bank and Salon Andre is. Park your car closer to First Hawaiian Bank and Rajanee Thai Cuisine is situated right next to Mililani Hair Salon. Pad Thai was okay. It lacked flavor.....like there was no fish sauce. I like fish sauce in my Thai food. Isn't that a staple in Thai cooking? What lacked in flavor in the Pad Thai the green curry made up for it. Bam! So much flavor and so good. Lots of bamboo shoots, eggplants, zucchinis, red peppers, and chicken. This came with 2 scoops of white rice. I really wish they had sticky rice like most thai restaurants do. The thai tea was nice and strong. If you live in Mililani or close to it, this place is a must try.

Stumbled upon Rajanee while browsing Yelp and I'm glad I did! Rajanee took over the old Lum's Takeout near First Hawaiian Bank and brings us Mililani folk another killer choice for great Thai food!! Talk to Kenny when your there and he may even introduce you to his dear mother, mastermind behind the awesome food! Speaking of which, on to the food! After reading reviews I decided on some crowd pleasers! Shrimp Pad Thai Noodles, Battered Fish w/ chili basil sauce, and Papaya Salad! Noodles were bomb!! Not greasy at all like I normally find. Papaya salad was full flavored and crunchy!! And the fish is great! They use a lighter tempura batter rather than those heavier panko style batters... All and all, super friendly, very reasonable prices ($5-$10) and excellent food! One of those "Locals who know" kinda spots! Definitely a must try! P.s. Kenny (owner) even threw in a fried ice cream ball the size of a Malasada!! Thx man!!

First off, its amazing that a Thai place opened up in Mililani! There's never much good places to eat at in Milville! I heard about this place from a co-worker friend and my bf and I decided to give it a try. Their menu is very simple and short for a Thai place. And all their prices are either $5, $8 or $10. Basically this place is like Bangkok Chef, where the food is take out and put in plate lunch style take out containers. After talking to the girl working there, I took her recommendation and ordered their Chili Basil with Shrimp and my bf had their Panang Curry with Chicken and we ordered their papaya salad. My dish was good, but they really did not give me much food on my plate. I was super hungry that day from not having breakfast and that plate wasn't filling, but tasty. Their panang curry wasn't bad, it was too sweet, but was tasty and they gave alot of curry. I would highly recommend not to order their papaya salad. It was awful, definitely have had better papaya salad from elsewhere. This place would probably be my last resort for Thai food, only cause I was stuck in Mililani or something. Definitely won't be on my list of favorite Thai places. Its just okay.

I went here on a whim and I was not disappointed. I had the Bangkok noodles, they were so yummy. It was so full of flavor, I asked for chicken but they threw in some shrimp too! I never really finish a plate of food, especially such a large portion but I destroyed everything they gave me. I also ordered a Thai tea and it was just as good. The restaurant it's self is very small and they only have two tables outside, so I wouldn't plan on eating there if your with a large group. The cost was far, there was nothing really over ten dollars. It was easy on the wallet. I highly recommend this place. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

I would and should give 5 stars. The food was THAT good (note the all caps!) Kenny, who works the register is Super friendly! Two uber greedy people (my husband and I) were stuffed even though we shared our mouth watering entre, although we did have a brief skirmish over the last piece of fish! I won! As this was our last meal before heading back to the mainland (sob sob), we wanted it to be pleasantly memorable. It was. We chose the battered fish we had heard so much yelping about. Wonderful! Thanks Yelpers. We chose the green curry sauce, but I have no doubt any of the three offered would have been amazing in their own right - just a matter of personal preference. The generous portions of fish were tenderly prepared, and the well seasoned sauce complimented it nicely. The veggies incorporated into the curry had the appropriate degree of crunchiness. With two scoops of rice it approached perfection. So why the loss of a star? The sauce was a tad too thick, albeit flavorful, which discouraged an even coverage throughout the dish. Also the lack of indoor seating limits occasions to fair weather unless you take out. But I have left out, or purposefully saved til the end, the grand finale to this meal - the coup de gras - the piece de resistance - ok, you get it. The fried ice cream was worthy of presentation in any world class restaurant. Beautifully presented with swirls of raspberry and choclate dancing lively upon the plate - it is divinely prepared . Truly worthy of the resulting caloric gain you will happily suffer. This meal brought a soothing conclusion to our indulgent Oahu sojourn.

This place is sick! Kenny and the family always whip up something delicious. Most plates on the menu are about 8 bucks when they should be way more. Its restaurant quality thai food served as "take out." Pretty good concept considering most people are always on the run. The spot is kinda hidden if you haven't been there before. But its right by the Jack in the Box in Mililani Town Center. Try the Pineapple Fried Rice!

Every time I pass this place I tell myself to check these guys out since my barber is right next door, well the food is great! The cashew chicken stir fry really was good, the customer service was awesome!! These are some of the nicest people on the planet. They actually try to remember your name and treat you like a human being rather than just another order! I have had only two other things on the menu, the Thai fried rice w/chicken, my adventurous side kicked in and wanted it SPICEY, oh boy, it took me a while but I got through it, I really LOVED it!! And you can't go to a Thai restaurant and not get spring rolls.......I will be back!!

I was sad to see Lum's Inn close after being open for so long. But I was intrigued by what would open in it's place. Since I work in the area, I got to try it for lunch. Their menu is pretty traditional Thai fare: papaya salad, curries, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, etc., and the prices are reasonable ($5-8). I ordered the Thai noodles with tofu ( you can choose chicken, beef, and shrimp too), since I was feeling a little healthy. Hehe...My co-worker ordered the cashew chicken. The portions were huge! The noodles were nicely seasoned, mildly spiced, and came with a mixture of bean sprouts, carrots, and green onions. The tofu tasted a little funny, and I've eaten enough tofu to know when it isn't "right". The cashew chicken was tasty, but you definitely need a good toothbrushing with all the garlic that's added! The owners were really friendly, and the restaurant had a nice ambience. I'd like to try the place again, probably with a different entree. It might of been an off day.

I have eaten at Rajanee Thai Cuisine a couple of times now, and I have to say this is one of my favorite places to eat! Tonight I got the summer rolls but substituted the peanut sauce with the cucumber vinaigrette! DELICIOUS!!! The ONLY reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because their menu is too small!!! I want MORE MORE MORE!!!

Average. Little too sweet on all the seasoning if you get mild spices. They don't cut the sweet to compensate for less heat. I think spicier would be better at this place.

BRING YO FRIENDS!!! Loved everything I tried! TOM YUM, Chicken Pad thai, and summer rolls!!! YUM ^_^

Thai food on the go. Home cooked type meal and you take it home. There's a couple tables outside but it's usually taken anyway so expect take home dinner. The food is always good. I had the bankok night noodles last time and I scarfed it down. I've never had it before. I usually get the drunken noodles and pad kee mao. Next time I'll try out the chicken panang curry :)

I went to Rajanee to order takeout Pad Thai because I heard they were decent. Well, whoever went there before must not have ordered the Pad Thai because not only was it overpriced for the amount, it was also kind of gummy-like and had about HALF the amount of Phuket Thai (the other thai restaurant in Mililani). I don't mind paying approximately $10 for Pad Thai if it's enough that I will have a second meal later on (which is always the case at Phuket Thai), but what I received was simply not worth the price. I decided to give 2 stars because the young man at the front counter provided good customer service when I ordered.

OK here's my review... I'm am extremely impressed. First, since I got married and taught English in Thailand, to say I'm picky is an understatement. Until today, I only knew of one other Thai restaurant in Mililani, and it just doesn't make my price/value ratio. Not only is this place significantly cheaper, but the food is better! I ordered Tom Yum, Phad Thai, Yom Nuer, Green Curry. Everything was really good. I gave solemn representations that the Green Curry better be "Thai ped" (Thai hot). At first I thought it wasn't but after a while I realized it was. Even hot, the spiciness was well balanced to ensure the flavor came through. One observation (not really a criticism): portion sizes are smaller than average (except the Green Curry!), but much cheaper, so if you have a big family you may want to order more than one of your favorite entrees. Oh best part... Real live Thai people! I'll be back...

Good food. I would return if I was in the area. Took a while to get the food at lunch time with only one person in front of me. Don't take my rating too harsh, I don't think I've ever rated a restaurant here a 5 and to get a 4 it would have to be the best in its category.

Mililani isn't known for great asian restaurants. No great japanese, korean, vietnamese, or thai restaurant. Until we went to Rajanee. This hole in the wall restaurant, which is located near FHB used to be a normal local fast food joint. This place doesn't have a dine in area but for the price and quality of their food....it's perfect. Only a five minute drive from home. Finally, a restaurant that I can frequent! ...and a restaurant that I'll be considered a regular at!

I would have given this place 5 stars based on the customer service I get when the owner is working and quality of the food... USUALLY. But he wasn't there this last time and I got a mild yellow curry that had enough spice in it to make it more orange in color. I tried to handle it but couldn't-- too spicy. I drove it back and they made me another one but there were zero carrots just chicken and onions and soup? and the potatoes were slightly sour. The other few times I've eaten there I was really pleased ESPECIALLY with their dessert : )

Okay...so I finally mustered up the courage to try this place based on all the 4-5 star ratings that I read here. Called ahead to make sure they were open on a Saturday night and ordered the following... Chicken Pad Thai----2 Stars, It not only tasted but looked meh too. Thai Fried Rice with chicken-----2 Stars, Spring Rolls-----1 Star, this looked and tasted like the kind that you buy frozen. Seriously folks! Is this what you call great Thai cuisine??? Rajanee is over hyped and not worthy of no 4 and 5 star ratings. PULEESE! To Thai For or Opal blows this place away...PERIOD! I live in Mililani and would rather make the trek out to Haleiwa for my Thai fix. I will not be coming back here again.

Very yummy thai food. Little hole in the wall place. Very friendly staff. I always call my order in. Have had the panang curry, pad thai and spicy eggplant several times and have enjoyed it each time. Bought some today and had my dad try it and he really liked it. My dad is the type to go to the same places all the time and Thai food had never been on the list before. But I know he would enjoy the food from here again. Great hidden place in Mililani!

This is THE best Thai food. It really is a take-out place with only one (or two) table outside. And despite the food coming in a take-out box, it is totally delicious. The Cashew Chicken - divine! The curries are great. And the Fried Coconut Ice Cream - decadent and delicious! The food here makes Phuket Thai's food look old and boring! and pricey! What a drag - they close at 5 on a Saturday though. Perhaps because they are not visible from the main street. Tell your friends about this wonderful place.

With all the great reviews I had to try it but also felt obligated to write this critical review. Unfortunately this restaurant was serving thai food with watery local style rice? Just back from 5 months in Asia, I don't think anyone in Thailand would enjoy the watery curry I had, especially without jasmine rice. I'm totally spoiled when it comes to Thai food. I still think To be fair I need to go back and try some dishes not served with rice. Don't believe the sweet counter gal, the spiciness is not based on Thai (hot) standards, as she indicated, on a much milder side. Portion/value not good considering it's more of a take-out counter service than a sit down restaurant. Mai sai pom chu rot?

BY FAR THE BEST THAI FOOD ON THE ISLAND. Kenny the owner and chef is an AMAZING COOK. Everything on the menu is great. Personal favorites: summer rolls, green curry, bangkok noodles, ginger salad. This is the only thai place i've been to that offers ginger salad which is great for your lungs, aids in normal digestion, and tastes BOMB! They cater to vegetarian diets and are really personable and nice. Definitely going back again and again. Also everything is VERY INEXPENSIVE in comparison to other thai restaurants. i loved it! seriously as good as it gets!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best Thai good I've had in Hawaii, hands down! Everything I've eaten here was a flavor explosion in my mouth and I have never been disappointed. The place can easily out-shine the other Thai restaurant here in Mililani (you know the one!) and is much cheaper with larger portions. Sadly the location is less than ideal for drawing in new customers, it's hidden in a small shopping center that feels abandoned after business hours (don't worry it's safe! Just all of the offices surrounding them are closed.) If only the restaurant had more visibility I'm sure it'd be packed during dinner time, but I rarely see other people dining there for dinner (unless everyone does take-out?) It just makes me sad because I want them to stick around forever, but I'm just afraid they won't be able to survive with the limited exposure and foot traffic. So I'm doing my share and Yelping about it! GO EAT AT RAJANEE!

My family has been going to Rajanee since it opened a few months ago, and we are consistently impressed by the amazing food. The owners also run Haleiwa Eats, a full-service Thai restaurant on the North Shore. We were thrilled to learn that we could get the same great dishes in our neighborhood. Rajanee is mostly a take-out place - the owners keep it simple with a front counter and a few outside tables. (My only gripe is that I wish they would add more outdoor seating, mostly because I know that as the word gets out, this place will get BUSY.) The place is family-owned and operated - and they take pride in making authentic Bangkok-style dishes. I know the owners, and they say that they prefer the small location so that they can focus on making quality food. The menu features mostly standard Thai dishes - Pad Thai, curries, etc. - which are all excellent. My favorite is the Battered Fish - the batter is light (almost like tempura) and crunchy, and is served with your choice of curry - I love it with yellow curry. I also love the Bangkok Noodles and Pineapple Fried Rice. Because of the takeout format, Rajanee is able to serve restaurant-quality dishes for a fraction of the price. Most dishes are $10 or under, and the servings are huge. The front counter staff are always warm and friendly, and are fun to talk story with while you wait. I highly recommend Rajanee to anyone in the Mililani area that is craving authentic Thai food for a great price. We go at least once a week! *Since it's a takeout place, they don't serve alcohol, but I have definitely sat at the outside tables with family and had a bottle of wine from the nearby Times wine store. :)

Definitely the best Thai in Mililani as the quality and taste are consistent. The first time I came here, I was surprised that it's pretty much a takeout place. There's no wait service, but there are some tables for dining outside. I also noticed that their version of medium is really spicy, especially with the pineapple fried rice! So now, I just get everything mild-medium. They offer two desserts, a fried coconut ice cream which I have yet to try and a fried banana dessert that was sooooo delicious! Call ahead your order, even if you plan to eat it there, to avoid the dinner rush.

I've been enjoying this place for many months now. It's delicious, clean, and very reasonably priced. The service is always friendly. I usually order the Singapore night noodles and the green yellow curries. I like that there's a lot of sauce with the curries. This doesn't mean they skimp on the veggies and protein: they don't, but the two scoops of rice that come with it are not enough. Make sure to order another rice and you'll enjoy your curry that much more. Be forewarned that a mild curry still carries some spice. The one time I ordered medium spicy (and I'll never do that again!) it was still with me the next day and I consider myself not to be a total spice wimp. I also really like the spring rolls. They're delicate, not greasy, with just the right combination of spiced meat and veggies. There's only one item I would give a miss and that is the summer rolls. I've tried them twice and they seemed to have the entire bottom part of green onion in them, a lot of lettuce leaf and not much else. Everything else, two thumbs up.

The food here is awesome and the guy up front is always so friendly! We've had the pad thai, drunken noodle (without the crab), panang and yellow curries, and the spring rolls, all delicious. Only two complaints: wish they served brown rice as an option, and the last two times we went to pick up an order that I had phoned in, I still had to wait 10-15 minutes past the time he told me it would be ready. So next time I'll just go a little later :-) 'cause there will definitely be a next time, I love good Thai food!

Ok, so for me, 5 stars is a rare review. This place is so 5 stars though. It's the definition of a hole in the wall, in the middle of the shopping center near goodyear tires. There's a lone table outside for those of you who want to eat there, but this place is meant for takeout. Just call in and place your order! They always tell me it'll be about a 15 minute wait, and when I get there in 15 minutes my food is always ready :) I've been to Thailand, and this is authentic Thai. Their padthai is delicious, and pad thai is usually the dish that restaurants get wrong. Their green curry is to die for, so so flavorful, and I got it with chicken, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I really don't have any complaints besides the fact that it's cash only, not a big deal though, there's an ATM literally 100 feet from the restaurant. The service is nice and friendly, I'm about to leave to pick up an order as we speak! Definitely try this place out! Keep it up Rajanee!

My first time here. Hole in the wall place to eat. Greeted when entering. Ordered pad Thai and panang curry. Pad Thai was delicious and panang curry ok. Tasted a lot of coconut milk. Overall good was delicious and satisfying. Should have more tables and chairs to eat on. Had to take out and eat elsewhere cause no where to sit.

Rajanee Thai was delicious!!! This review may sound like it is coming from someone who frequently eats here, or is friends with the people who work here, but let me assure you this was my first time eating at Rajanee Thai... But they make you feel like family when you walk in. I just moved to the Island and was in need of a good Asian restaurant, and after asking around.. It was a clear decision I should try Rajanee. All my friends were ranting about it, and now I know why. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was quiet and the food possibilities are endless. Although their menu is small, you can mix and match anything, adding different food items, or simply asking them to hold off on certain things. They even ask you how spicy you wish your food to be, giving you options of mild, medium and hot. I personal devoured Pad Kee Mao, and the spring rolls. I asked for medium and they were a little too spicy for me, but that is personal taste. The flavor was so good, and my dish was made fast and fresh. My only complaint about my Pad Kee Mao was that it had a little too much oil from where they sauté everything together. The spring rolls were perfection. There is nothing I hate more than ordering spring rolls from somewhere and it having 10 different mystery ingredients, weird meat mixtures and containing every filler but the kitchen sink. YUCK! The ones at Rajanee are vegetarian and simple. Simple taste of perfection. I could see myself going there at least 3 times a week, just to get the spring rolls.. Let alone all the other yummies they offer. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a young nice man, later to find out his name was Kenny. He was very friendly and had many recommendation of what to try, and went into detail of a few of his favorite dishes. Never have eaten Thai before, I had a lot of questions and although a few customers came in while I was ordering, he politely welcomed them in, but kept his focus on helping me, and answering all my questions with patience. They have quaint outside seating and it is very peaceful to enjoy the nice Hawaiian weather. Last but not least... The prices. The price for dishes served at Rajanee Thai were very comparable to the prices of local restaurants. It is very much worth going to get GREAT food, GREAT service and GREAT prices! A must try!

I eat Thai every time I travel to Mililani for a haircut. I was loyal to Phuket Thai before finding this little gem. The food is SPECTACULAR & cheap. The customer service is wonderful. I would've given the restaurant an overall 5 stars were it not for the very limited seating outside.

Awesome hole in the wall, mom and pop kinda place! Owned by the same family who runs Haleiwa Eats. Their coconut rice is amazing! Just remember two things: cash only and you're outta luck on Sundays.

WE LOVE RAJANEE!!! My only regret is that I don't have enough money to buy their delicious food! They are truly a hidden gem. Everyone at the restaurant is so loving and kind, you'll want to become a regular. Their dishes are packed with flavor and spice! (Emphasis on the spice.) I love the curry, tom ka, pad thai, and drunken noodle! When I order medium spice pad thai, it's usually what another restaurant would call spicy. My eyes water, my lips sting, and my mouth gets so hot it's almost numb- I LOVE it! If you're into hot, Rajanee is the hottest!

After being highly disappointed in the Thai selection in the Waipio area I looked to Yelpers for some help finding a new place. I liked that they recommend this place and mentioned that it had the same menu items as Haleiwa Eats Thai (which we used to love). The food I have gotten from the place has been excellent. The portions are smaller than many other Thai restaurants, but I they adjust the price accordingly. The only negative things I have about this place is that they don't offer sticky rice (which is a staple for me when I order curry) and several times when I called, they were a little abrupt on the phone. I had asked them what types of curry they had and the woman on the phones response was "Our menu is online, you can find it there..." I felt that was rude and especially since they only have 3 different curries to offer. I rated it a 3 because of the limited menu, the lack of sticky rice, and the somewhat abrupt service. Definitely a good place to grab a bite to eat.....just a few things to work on.

Every dish that 've tried here is so good. My ultimate favorite is the battered fish with green curry sauce and their melt in your mouth fried ice cream ball. I'm craving it again already as I'm writing this...lol! So glad you opened this place up Kenny! Rajanee is the bomb!

Every aspect of this restaurant made it a top choice in my book. My wife and I stopped at this small restaurant for some take-out on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy with all take-out orders, but the staff were all over it. Speaking of the staff, they were THE most genuine group of people I have encountered working at a restaurant on Oahu. I was seriously impressed with their attitudes and general friendliness with their customers and each other. The staff at the counter were extremely friendly and explained their menu items in a calm and pleasant way. They told me it would take 25 minutes for my order to be ready and exactly 25 minutes later, they were calling my name for pickup. It really was a perfect customer service experience. I know most people don't go to restaurants for the friendly staff, but I would definitely go back for that reason. I would also go back for the great food. My wife and I ordered the panang curry ($9), softshell crab and drunken noodle special ($15), and the papaya salad ($7). For being so inexpensive, the quality of ingredients were excellent. The chicken in the curry was all-white meat breast, the papaya salad was extremely fresh, and the noodles were the cooked perfectly. The flavors were also exceptionally well in every dish. They all complemented each other perfectly. Overall, I could not have been happier with my experience at Rajanee Thai. The food was great, the staff were overly enjoyeable, and the price was right. I would highly recommend this thai restaurant.

This place is definitely what everyone has been saying, - "hidden gem"...the food is priced really well, really good flavor in everything that i've ordered and portion size is fair for the price. I live in ewa but i do not mind making the drive to mililani if i really want some good thai food. Best for take out.

Went here for the first time and tried spicy drunken noodles and mild tom ka soup. Both dishes were delicious and the portion sizes were a good size. We ended up finishing the noodles and taking more than half of the tom ka home. The noodles were spicy just the way hubby likes it and the soup was sweet and tangy. I also got thai iced tea which they gave a lot of in a regular sized soda cup, not like other places where they just give you a can of thai tea with a straw :/ lol We were lucky to find a seat at one of the five? small tables outside and thankfully there was a nice breeze that day. We waited maybe 15 min for our order to be called. Next time I want to try the drunken noodles with soft shell crab and one of the desserts. I will definitely come back again to have lunch with my hubby.

Love this place! I keep coming back! Try the pad Thai, papaya salad and the curries or anything in their menu! You will not be disappointed. The only thing that I would change is that they need to take the sweetness back a little, but other than that great food! Ken and mom have great thing going here. Can't wait for the north shore restaurant!! I am marking my calendar! Hope they have new and great flavor combos!!

I was craving Thai food so decided to come here for lunch. This place is located across Foodland and 24 hour fitness and in the same shopping center as Jack in the Box facing Mauka side. This is a small hole in the wall spot. Prices here are a bit steep but overall taste is pretty good. I ordered the Panang curry with duck and the drunken noodles with beef. I also ordered a side of sticky rice to go. I would def recommend to eat sticky rice fresh instead of to go because by the time they packed it I noticed it hardened. The curry I ordered was quite tasty and wow I can def taste the peanut sauce! I ordered Medium spicy for both entrees but I've noticed for the Drunken noodles it was quite spicy for my taste! Overall decent place in Mililani for Thai food. This is more of a take out spot then dine-in restaurant.

Rajanee offers delicious Thai foods at its finest quality!! I really recommend the Drunken noodle- YOU MUST TRY IT!!! Anyway, it's a good idea to call and preorder the food over the phone first because sometime it can get quite crowded! After it's AMAZING!!!

Best Thai on the island. Love these guys. My go-to is the panang curry with chicken. Always hot, flavorful, and enough to take left overs for lunch the next day. Includes string beans and zucchini, but they are always willing to omit the zucchini for me because I am skin sensitive to it. All of the curries include rice and you can't beat the prices of the meals! I have also tried the yellow curry, ginger chicken, spring rolls, cashew chicken, and chicken satay. Nothing ever disappoints! Just writing this makes me want to call them up and make a drive up to Mililani for some panang :)

Tucked away, amongst nondescript offices and such - is this gem!! Get ready, because Rajanee will dazzle your pants off!! Where do I begin? I've had a bunch of different items off the menu, and all of them are delicious. Food is fresh, made to order and finger lickin' good!! While there are some basics (pad thai, tom yum, etc.) there are some unique items too -- my favorite is the ginger salad. The first time my friend ordered it, I opened the container and thought, "Meh!" It kind of looked like cold slaw but without the mayo -- hmmm...but one bite and ooooh! I just want to lick the plate...good thing its mostly takeout so it won't be too embarrassing!! Its a flavor explosion - crisp, tart, tangy, crunchy and oh...so good! Trust me! This place is super low key -- there are a few tables for sitting on the patio, but mostly its a takeout spot.

Quaint little hole in the wall. I tried their Panang Curry with chicken, I got it mild since I'm not super tolerant of spicy food. I absolutely loved the curry. You can really taste the coconut milk in it. It comes with two scoops of white rice, perfect for the curry. I also tried their Pad Thai, it tasted a bit too fishy for my liking but still pretty tasty other than that.

  • Tee Z.

I love this place! They have the best Pad Thai here in Hawaii ! I've been here twice, and I always get myself the Chicken Pad Thai with a side of Thai Tea. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is totally worth it. I do recommend calling in your order first because they do take quite awhile and the seating is outdoor so it can get a little dark after sunset.

  • Gin D.

I can see why this place has such good reviews. For a hole in the wall the Thai food here is pretty decent. However I did come here for the reviews and coming from Kaneohe I didn't have to option to drive it all the way home and with only four tables I was forced to sit and eat it in my car. So for lack of dining experience and the 25 minute wait standing outside I gave it three stars. Yellow curry was good but the shrimp tasted previously frozen :/ if I lived in mililani I may come back to give it another shot but since I don't it's not worth the trip. Thai in Honolulu has my vote in this case.

I LOVE RAJANEE! :) This is whole in the wall thai restaurant located in Mililani.I have almost tried everything on their menu! & everything is marked with affordable prices and they give big portions! For anything that you can choose spice levels for, BE CAUTIOUS! When you ask for spicy, it will be spicy, no doubt. It's perfect for me though, because I like the spice and burning sensation, hahah! That's why I order their thai tea, which is also very yummy and refreshing. Our usual order when my boyfriend and I go: - spicy green curry with sticky rice - spicy thai fried rice - spicy bombay night noodles - mango sticky rice (seasonal) **we usually have left overs, but we save it for dinner I recommend visiting Rajanee, my favorite casual thai restaurant! :)

Quality food at great value. Awesome to see Mililani businesses doing well. Everything we ordered was good, ie Pad Thai, Battered Fish, Soft Shell Crab over Drunken Noodles, and Panang Curry. Hear they are expanding, so that is a good thing.

What a name, I wouldn't have thought it was a Thai place when the words were spoken to me. This little place in older Mililani is hidden in a rather commercial business building. With just a few tables outside, I think this place was designed for take out mainly. This place is not like other Thai places. They a much smaller menu but it does help in deciding what you want to eat. Other Thai places, there is just too much to choose from. The pricing is rather reasonable. On average the plates are about $8-9 dollars. One thing you have to take note, is that everything is made to order so expect a 15-20 minute wait. The spring rolls are rather tasty. Not oily like other places and there is a good mix of vegetables inside. I decided to roll mines in the chilly basil sauce to add a kick to it. I ordered the Chilly Basil with steak. I did order it medium, and although it was on the spicy side, it was perfect for what I wanted. The normal plates come with Jasmine white rice and no substitution. I had to try the sticky rice, so I ordered that and ate my dish with it. I would recommend this place to people. Just from the amount of people who kept coming to pickup food, I would believe that others recommend this place as well. I will be back to try other dishes and hopefully the fried coconut ice cream that was staring me in the face.

Tom yum - on point Pad Thai - so yummy Papaya salad - small portion but tasty Pineapple fried rice - delicious Friendly service/atmosphere Bummed they didn't have mango sticky rice since they said it's "not in season". 1 star off since I thought this place was a restaurant. Very small joint and only 3 little tables outside. Only good for take out. Overall, we'd come here again.

That's some tasty Thai food! Can't wait for them to open again on the north shore. Chicken sate was yummy, as were the springrolls. Pad Thai and the yellow curry were delicious. The only 2 draw backs were only a few tables to eat at outside, and no liquor. I need a cold singha at the very least with some spicy Thai food. But other than that hands down the best Thai I had on the island with A very friendly staff

This is one of those places that you don't just use yelp for, you actually create an account to review them. Kenny and family are delightful and the made-to-order food has yet to disappoint. We've liked everything we tried, and we've tried just about everything! Some favorites include the Bangkok night noodle, panang curry, ginger fish (special), pineapple fried rice, and drunken noodle, although we first found them on a quest to fill our pad Thai cravings. Their vegetarian options are seemingly endless (if you're not ok with fish sauce, just let them know!) and they are welcoming to special requests. Call ahead orders are a good idea, just be sure to check their Facebook page for the special board or ask about specials before ordering. Yum! Note: I'm a big whimp when it comes to heat, so I always order mild (and make my husband do the same so I can share!)

Came here in the afternoon on a Saturday. I noticed that the prices aren't cheap for a small establishment that only has outdoor seating. I ordered the pad kee mao with shrimp and green curry with chicken. Both were delicious and the medium spicy level was just right for us. The food was enough to make two servings for each of us so we ate the rest when we got home. The Thai ice tea was served in a large cup with ice, which was a pretty good deal. That might have been the only thing that was considered cheap because most Thai restaurants would serve that in a much smaller cup. Here are some things that they could improve on: The tables outside should have been wiped clean. The food is served in disposable containers but what I didn't like was the super hot curry served in the plastic container. No one really knows the true health risks of that but it can make people uncomfortable.

Thanks Kenneth for diligently responding to my review. I'll remember to make a special request for some romaine lettuce and cucumbers next time I order some spring rolls. The drunken noodles is great here as well. 6$ for 4 spring rolls with no plum sauce, no lettuce to wrap it with, no pickle daicon, no fresh cucumbers....just 4 spring rolls. That's just uncalled for. I loved their food here but today I am just disappointed.

I've lived in Mililani most of my life, and this little gem of a restaurant has been around for years. So my wife and I were very late in checking it out. Fortunately, all the happy, satisfied reviews were well-founded. Tucked in a back corner of the quiet phase of the Mililani Shopping Center, this tiny restaurant has a counter and a handful of tables outside, where your view is of a bank, dental office, and tattoo parlor. But its cozy size and odd location were definitely a part of the charm. Thai food is not one of my favorite cuisines, and I've found myself forcing down food from thai restaurants that others rave about (i.e. Phuket Thai). So I'd take my review with a grain of salt -- I don't really know good thai food from bad, but of the thai restaurants I've tried, this place is high on the list. The pad thai and green papaya salad was good, but I liked the curries better. I will say that the spice was strong but not painful, and as a wimp, that may mean the "hot" dishes may not be as hot as some may like. But it was just the right amount of heat for me, not drowning out the flavor, but still prompting me to cherish every last drop of my drink.

Came here after bookmarking this place for months! Got take out but they have 4 tables outside if you want to eat there. Plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant (near Jack in the Box) so walk around to the front. Small place, family owned. Ordered the Bombay Noodles (yellow curry noodles) mild with shrimp, Green Curry fried rice medium with chicken, Basil Stir fry with beef medium. The medium is SPICY! Very glad I got the noodles mild since I'm not good with spicy foods! Everything was really good, but my only thing I would want is for the noodles to be less soft. I like chewy, al dente noodles, and when you add the yellow curry sauce, it gets soft. Everything was really flavorful! Be wary of medium! It's spicy for me! The most awesome thing is that they are coming to Haleiwa around January-February! We live on the North Shore, so this is so exciting for us, especially since I have boycotted eating at Opals Thai due to how poorly he treats his staff.

Delicious. I got the Pad Tai with shrimp and yellow chicken curry fried rice, medium for both. It was way too spicy for me, I wish I would've gotten mild, but it was still so yummy. I will be going back!

Finally ate here a week ago after having it on my To-Try list for a while. Ordered the green papaya salad and the pad ke mao with shrimp, both medium spice since I was unfamiliar with their seasoning levels. The pad ke mao was thin pad-thai style noodles with a choice of protein, and was explained at the counter to be the sister dish to the basil chicken/shrimp/beef/tofu, but with noodles instead of rice. The noodles were full of large, fresh vegetables and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. I could have kicked it up a notch to spicy, but then again, the ingredient flavors were the stars here, not the heat. The papaya salad was just okay. In retrospect, I'd have ordered the salad mild because I really wanted it to be refreshing - as opposed to spicy - and it was a lot hotter than the noodles. It also had a pungent fish-sauce funkiness that was just a little too overpowering for my tastes. Both dishes were $9 each, which is a bit spendy for the portion size; the quality seems to match the price point, even if the salad wasn't my favorite. It would be nice if they served a half-portion for $5. I'd like to go back and try the panang curry and maybe a couple other dishes, but I probably won't be a regular here. Very friendly service on a busy Friday night! Mostly take-out, though there are a couple tables outside. Tiny counter area with a small bench, but it's better to wait outside. Park in front of the ATMs and walk to the right, you'll see it tucked just out of the way.

My favorite Thai food! Little bit on the pricier side but well worth it. Owner Kenny is awesome. The curries are great but, you have to try their curry fried rice, soft shell crab noodles, ribs and any special Kenny cooks up. Stuffed chicken wings are also very good.

I've been meaning to try this place for some time now. I find that if you park in the back by FHB fronting the park, it's easier to get to and closer. This is a small little place with a few tables outside for those who decide to eat in, but don't let that deter you from trying the food. I got the Bangkok Night Noodles which was not as spicy(mild) as I thought it would have been. It was topped off with three fried shrimp which was perfectly seasoned. I wish it came with more shrimp. Met the owner Ken which was very sincere and said he likes to treat all customer like clients! Definitely would come back again !

The staff is so nice, they always make me feel welcomed. Ken is the owner and is probably one of the friendliest people ever, always making great suggestions, and never rushing me. I love coming back here not only for the perfect customer service but not to mention the bomb food!!!!!!!

Pretty good. Just ordered summer rolls and yellow curry. Asked for spicy and it wasn't which was sad. But all and all for Mililani it's not bad. Will have to go back.

We used to visit a different Thai restaurant, but were not entirely happy with some of the meals and were looking for a new one. After looking around for a while, and stumbling on some of the reviews here on Yelp, we figured we'd try Rajanee for a change. Oh, we're so glad we did. This place is a little gem here in Mililani. I love Thai food and, well, these guys sure know how to make it! Their menu doesn't seem very large, but it really rewards checking out their Facebook page where they post specials from time to time, and where you can see lots of pictures of meals not mentioned in the menu, and that you can often still request to be made. All in all, I love this place. The food is very tasty, and they give plenty of each dish as well. If you haven't tried it and are looking for some good Thai food, you should give this place a go for sure!

One thing I miss about summertimes on the East Coast are soft shell crabs, so you can understand my excitement when on the chalk board I see these magic words: Soft shell crab over drunken noodles. One of my favorite dishes as is, and its topped with soft shell crab? HELL YAH. I think over-ordering may be an understatement. Here's what Russ M ordered..plus the couple of dishes we got on the house. Papaya salad - Loved that it had pieces of papaya in it, and good kick of spice. Spring rolls - Sorry, Sala Thai still holds the trophy for this appetizer, but they were good - not too oily. Marinated Duck - I made the mistake of not grabbing a piece quickly, literally disappeared in front of my face in seconds. Thanks Russ and Karla. But I did get a piece with a bit of fat on it - still was juicy, succulent, and paired perfectly with the steaming rice. Pad thai was one of the better ones I've had on the island, not overly sweet - great balance to the dish Drunken noodles - the soft shell crab was a winner - crispy, fresh - I probably would have snuck it all onto my plate if I hadn't had to share. :) yelp.com/user_local_phot… There were a few more dishes on the house that were brought out. Cute little spot, hidden from the main street. Definitely worth trying it out - even if its only for their soft shell crab and duck! CASH ONLY!

I'm a fat girl. I loooove nothing more than delicious food - and Thai is on the top of my list of cravings. A friend recommended Rajanee... And I consider this a LIFETIME gift! The chef recommended I let him prepare his favorite meals (since I was so indecisive and wanted EVERYTHING). I can NOT believe how AMAZING each and every morsel was!! I'm posting pics, as they say 1000's of words more than me! BEST THAI IN TOWN!!!

It's hard to get good, well-priced takeout Thai food but this place does it well. My personal favorite is the sweet chili sauce battered fish. I also really like their curries. The cashier is always nice and sometimes if you get lucky one of the cooks in the back will bring you something to taste.

Firstly, many thanks to Michelle M. for creating/hosting the UYE pavement picnic at Rajenee Thai Cuisine. I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it to this event, but in the end I'm glad I did as I was able to enjoy delicious food and meet new people. LOCATION: Mililani Shopping Center. Same complex as Jack in the Box and FHB. Also, it's slightly hidden so to speak. I had a slightly difficult time trying to find this business, as it's located in a courtyard behind the main building and there is no signage that can be seen (as least none that I saw) from the main parking area. SETTING: As stated in Michelle M.'s event posting, there is limited seating available, hence the theme of a "pavement picnic." When I arrived (around 1215pm) Michelle M. was chatting and eating with 3 other Yelpers at 3 tables outside. Alycia P. arrived shortly after myself, and we both found Anthony C. and Misty P. inside attempting to move a smaller table outside so we could join the others. FOOD: Before I arrived, it seemed everyone ordered different dishes to try and share. Besides the leftovers from the previous orders, we all decided to share our dishes as well so all of us (especially those visiting for the first time like myself) could sample the various menu items. 1) Drunken Noodles: This was a dish leftover from the first group in attendance. Very, very good! I loved it! 2) Chili Basil: This was a dish Anthony and Misty ordered. Wonderful flavor and I especially liked the combination/variety of vegetables in this dish. 3) Garlic Thai Spare Ribs: Delicious! This was Alycia's addition to the mix and it was truly a winner! Very good. I was told later on during the meal that this is a "special" that they offer now and then. 4) Thai Fried Rice: Another dish full of flavor. Excellent choice from Anthony and Misty. 5) Pad Thai: This was my choice and I must admit I loved it! Flavorful and a decent portion. Recommended. 6) Fried Coconut Ice Icream: Dessert was compliments of the owner with his thanks for joining in the UYE. I think we were all full at this point, but the 5 of us somehow made room for dessert. I especially liked the sauce (something berry-like perhaps?) that garnished the plate. Overall, a delightful end to a wonderful meal. SERVICE: Very attentive and friendly. The main staff in the front area was quite helpful and polite, and made sure to check with us on how we were doing throughout our meal. She provided extra plates, napkins, chopsticks, as well as boxes and bags for our leftovers. NOTE: It's CASH ONLY here folks. YELPERS: As I've already stated, I was quite thankful to have attended this event as I was able to meet new Yelp friends. Thank you Michelle M., Anthony C., Misty P., and Alycia P. for the great laughs, good conversation, and the sharing of all of our entertaining experiences with this phenomenon called "Yelp." I hope to see all of you at future events! Bottom Line: Great food. Good service. If I'm ever in Mililani I will surely be back!

I eat here a lot for lunch because it's near my office and also because I Love it! I haven't had anything here that I didn't like yet. Today I opted for the monsoon chicken which isn't on the regular menu. It consists of sliced chicken smothered in peanut saute sauce over rice. I really love this dish. It's also available with shrimp which is also pretty awesome. Service is always pretty good here. Kenny the owner is very friendly and makes a point of learning people's names. I've also had the drunken noodle w/soft shell crab, the Bangkok night noodle, the green curry, and the chili basil battered fish. I would recommend all of them. I will definitely be back weekly.

I told you I'd be back! Anyway, my sister that just got back from college in the mainland wanted to eat Thai food, so I found the opportune moment to visit Rajanee Thai again. We went in and the cashier greeted us nicely. We ordered a Spring and Summer Roll, Tom Yum, Coconut Rice, and Chicken Pad Thai. We sat and waited patiently for our food as the awesome music played on the stereo. They play REALLY good music! Just saying. Here's the breakdown of the food: Spring Rolls: They were hot and crispy! The sauce was fish sauce and chili? Not too sure, but it was yummy! Summer Rolls: Definitely my favorite! Oh gosh, packed with veggies and the sauce! Oh, that sauce! It's like peanut sauce but on steroids! I love it, I taste curry and spices galore! Sooo delicious! I might just go back for this alone. Tom Yum (medium): This buggah was spicy and sour goodness. I really love tamarind and this hit the spot! I really love the flavors of this soup, the galangal, lemongrass, kafir lime leaves. MMMM, yum! But spicy, might get mild next time. Hahaha! Coconut Rice: Same and the last time, which is good because it's consistent. I really like coconut, so this dish was a given. So good with the tom yum. Chicken Pad Thai (medium): So this time around the pad thai was on point, not too anything. I think that the fact that it was spicy (to me) it canceled out anything that would have made it sweet and it was great! So glad I gave this place another chance! I will definitely be back for more! Thank you Chef Kenny and Rajanee Chef! :)

Great hidden little gem in Mililani! They offer items that are not in the menu like beef salad (delicious - get it spicy) and thai ribs. Although I don't care too much for their papaya salad (a little too lemony and sour) which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5; papaya salad is how I gauge good Thai places. They have high quality, not salty, fresh delicious food. Just know that even though you eat-in (all chairs are outside in breezy shade) they will package the food in take out. The food takes a bit long to come out, however it is worth the wait. The best part of my meal is of course the dessert and when you order the fried banana it comes with sesame rolled vanilla ice cream and it is amazing!! To top of off, it is served on a fancy dish that isn't take out. For a family of 5 be prepared to spend around $50-$80 to eat appetizers, meals, and dessert. Not the cheapest but a great treat!

Although i had an fine time dining at this cafe, i would say the food is acceptable and way over priced. It seems a lot of people like this place but it's no "Thailao". The fine part is that i ran into my cousin and her daughter, and a college friend. We talked story while waiting for our food. For a fast food style set up, you would think they would have quicker service. My rating is in part because by the time i got my steak it was kinda cold. I'm guessing that my order was ready and sitting in its tray until the rest of my order was being prepared. Or they didn't call me when my order was ready because i had to walk up to the counter to ask for my food. Let's hope it's not the latter. But i think it is because my cousin also had to ask for her food. I would not eat he again even if i were in the area.

Second chances! Disappointed the first time but delighted the second time. After looking at further reviews by other yelpers I decided to give the hole in the wala at Mililani Shopping Center another try. This time I gambled bigger by purchasing the Drunken Noodles with Soft Shell Crab. Chef delivered big time! I found a winner! I highly recommend this dish for first timers. If your allergic to seafood or shellfish than another customer told me to try the Prime Rib with Chimichurri sauce. The Soft Shell Crab dish was priced at fair $15 and the portion size was generous. I can see 2 people sharing this dish. Well maybe 2 skinny people. I became drunk in its delicious flavor.

The best Thai food on the island and the warm staff make you feel right at home. Nice and spicy, but they can adjust the heat to taste.

Definitely great food here, without question. We used to go here almost every week but decided to cut back for a few reasons. The spice/heat levels offered are mild, medium, or hot; ask for medium every time and you'll get something different every time, sometimes even too spicy to enjoy! Also, we were a bit disappointed in the fact that we frequented this place nearly every week and sent a tremendous amount of business/referrals their way but were still treated like ordinary strangers nonetheless! No expectation of being treated like royalty but recognition of much business and loyalty would be appreciated from time to time; customer loyalty is what keeps a business in business!

With the amount of Thai food that I eat, I came to the conclusion that Rajanee is definitely my favorite restaurant! The owner, Kenny, is really nice and he actually makes the effort to get well-acquainted with his customers. He even remembered my order after not being there for almost 2 months! Anytime I get a craving for some chicken pad thai and thai tea, I'll always head to Rajanee.

I think I just found my new favorite Thai place. I stopped in for the first time this past weekend based off the recommendation from Michelle M. michroc.yelp.com and I'm definitely glad I did. Rajanee is located in the same shopping plaza as First Hawaiian Bank, lots of parking nearby. It's a cool little spot that's mainly takeout, but there are a few tables you can score if you're lucky. I wasn't quite sure what to order (spur of the moment decision to grab some lunch) so I stuck with the basics: pad thai, green curry and sticky rice. Everything was delicious! The pad thai was legit, not the ketchup red kind you find at some other Thai places (gross). I wasn't sure if I was gonna finish it when I started, but had no problems...definitely left me wanting more. The green curry was also bomb, LOTS of sauce. Careful with the eggplant...it's piping hot when you first bite into it. But man, the flavor is really great. I've been to the other Thai place in Mililani Town Center a couple times which kinda sells you on the ambiance (more of a sit down with the rose on the table type of spot) but the food isn't as good as Rajanee. I'm sure to return to try out the rest of the menu.

Simply delicious and why didn't we find it sooner! Pineapple fried rice was fluffy, savory and big enough to share with two toddlers and my Husband. If their rice is this good, I am confident our next visit will be just as good. Cant wait to try many more items, especially desert!
