This place is the definition of a hole in the wall take out dive. Located at the quietest shopping center of Mililani, one can easily pass Po Sing Kitchen when searching for it. Po Sing has everything from roast duck to icee to cigarettes (though I don't smoke. Never tried.). I remember I used to walk across the street from the park after baseball practice to get an icee. That always hit the spot after some stick ball. Now a days, along with an icee, I order some roast pork or roast duck for a pot luck. Both the roast duck and roast pork is okay, both hanging in from the window like any other typical Chinese take out. I am a sucker for pork hash and every time I see it, I gotta order at least 2. Unfortunately, their noodle wrap thingy was on the dry side. Where the that noodle wrap was sealed, it was powdery and uncooked. Its too bad because if it wasn't powdery and dry, it would have been really good. The ground pork was good. They got an orange chicken, though, and its pretty good. It has some orange zest in it to make it really sweet, tangy and citrus-y, if that's even a word. This place has have to be open for at least 20 plus years. Growing up in Mililani, I have not known any other shop in their location. I am glad that they still there and doing well.

I just had to write a quick update, because when I went the other day, my total was $6.64. I handed over a $10 and was given back $4 in change. When I tried to tell the guy he had given me too much back, he said it was cool. Who ever heard of a Chinese restaurant doing such a thing? An extra 64 cents, baby! That was worthy of a $1 tip and another nice Yelp review. Heeheehee.

The roast duck is pretty fantastic. The lady is really nice, but I really can't understand what she says. The fried rice is deceptively good, its quite white.

This is one of the few places to get some decent Roast Pork, Char Siu, and Roast Duck in Mililani. Living in Mililani for 7 years of my young life has exposed me to foods like, Long John Silvers, Burger King, Subway, and various Korean BBQ joints. But what of the Chinese Restaurant? and i'm not talking about Panda Express. Po Sing is that hole in the wall Chinese restaurant that you have to appreciate in a time where the Panda Expresses of the world seem to rule over all. Family owned and operated, it is one of the few mom n pop shops available in Mililani. With Roasted Ducks hanging in its window, how could you not give this place a chance? This place offers a variety of Chinese dishes like Egg drop soup, Crispy Gaugee, Beef Broccoli, etc. and did I mention that it all tastes great!? So, if you need to pick up dinner for the fam or just a quick pickup while on your lunch break, don't hesitate to try this place out. Also fyi, this is strictly a "to-go" restaurant, there is no table seating available.

Oh, Po Sing char siu & roast pork, you temptress sisters. All glazed sugar, luscious bits of wobbly fat, golden skin and creamy meat. Yes, damnit, I love you. You keep getting better with time, as Chinatown portions get skimpier and skimpier. You know you're beautiful...and cheap at under $10 (whoops, I missed) a pound. I don't care that we always have to go back to my place, cause you don't have seating at yours. I don't care if you come pre-chopped or whole. I love you and I don't care who knows it! C'mere!!

Gross - LIVE cockroach crawling around coming out from under the gau gee in the egg roll & gau gee pan.... Cashier not fazed by it, I asked for a refund... Yuck, not going back again!

Excellent char siu and roast pork. The perfect pupu to bring to a friend's house you are visiting or a potluck.

Best roast pork and char siu out there. Everything else isn't that great though. Still, always gotta stop by for those 2 things.

Great service. Chinese style bbq pork was amazing. Had it with white rice. Good prices.

It is kind of a strange place. In addition to serving the best pork belly/char sui and chinese food buffett, they also sell cigarettes? Just weird. I do not know how they make the pork belly so darn light and crunchy, however they do it, it is the best. The pork belly is just slightly better than the char sui. Both are yummy. This place is a keeper.

***CASH ONLY!!!*** Growing up with Po Sing down...er...up the street, I used to come here all the time for icee! Plus it was near Pizza Hut and Baskin' Robbins...both which are no longer at the Marketplace. :( sad faces... BUT Po Sing is still around! Love to come here to get freshly cut slabs of charsiu and only recently have I learned about their Crispy Pork! The meat is sooo tennder and tasty! It's always recommended to order ahead, especially if you plan on getting the pork in the evening.. There are other items for a yummy quick chinese plate however I don't think I've gotten anything else here. This place is great for fresh pork, yummy snacks, quick service, and convenience...especially if you are already at the shopping center. Not highly visited by non-Mililanians but if you're here, stop on by!

Great roast pork and char siu (5 stars), that's about it. All other hot food items look old. Not so good with customer service.

The Char siu and Roast Pork here rivals the best of them. Chinatown quality for sure. Their chow fun is mysteriously awesome. At first glance, you don't see much going into those white noodles, but can't stop eating it! It would be great if they would mix up the plate item choices a bit more, but other than that, the price is right for a tasty meal.

This spot in the Mililani Marketplace is one of the original tenants. I should know, I grew up three blocks from this place. Going on 33 years here. Only Longs and Safeway can share that billing in this strip-mall. As children, rumors abound of dirty meat, pulling produce from Safeway's dumpsters... etc. WHATEVAS. Today... checked the window. The cha siu and siu yuk looked pretty damn good. Had to do it. Half pound each. Verdict? No. It's not as good as Cheung Hing in my other home of San Francisco. For Mills? CRACKIN'. The siu yuk (crispy skin, white roast pork) is prepared better here than the cha siu (red, bbq pork). Definitely be back.

For what it is- a family business I give it 4 stars because it's yummy and cheap, but I would give 5 stars for the Singapore Noodles- excellent, and at $7, a great price. This hole in the wall delivers home cooked goodness when you are craving Chinese food. I always get take out and they are really fast. My order is always ready when I get there.

I remember coming here as a kid with my mom after school to pick up some goodies. I always used to love getting the little packs of apple-o's. They still have 'em there too (wonder how old they are...). Anyway, in the present day I no longer buy apple-o's. Instead, the roast pork is typically my reason for coming here. Forget the fact that it's probably packed with sodium--it's delicious! Lots of people I know also love the char siu. The fried rice isn't so bad either. There's usually friendly people working too which is always good. Be sure to have cash on you if you're gonna come here though!

If you're in the Mililani area, this is by far the best Char Sui and Roast Pork in the area. The Char Sui is a little on the sweeter side, perfectly cooked and has the right amount of "char" to the marinade. The roast pork is tender, seasoned well and has a crackly type of skin that is so bad but so good!

We went because the hubs is trying to impress me with his ability to find me "hole in wall" places to eat. The other reviewers were absolutely correct about the quality of the roast pork. Dee-lish-us. Not too oily. Lots of crispy skin bits. Meaty chunks. Perfect amount of fat. Yum-o! What I wasn't impressed with was the other food which didn't look so great. We did buy a dozen gau gee, which were mediocre. I asked for mustard, but it wasn't put in the bag. Overall, go for the roast pork, but just buy that.

$8 each for a pound of roast pork and char siu that tastes oh so good. My husband loves char siu although he tries not to eat it too frequently. The family that runs the business are really great. Not a big fan of their mochiko chicken though since the pieces are very small and it makes me wonder if those are undesirable left over pieces of chicken. Their beef broccoli is decent. They also have an Icee machine if you're craving for it. They must sell cheap cigarettes because everytime I make a visit there are always customers purchasing cigarettes.

The roast pork and char siu are as good, if not better than many other places that I have tried, including Chinatown. Very tasty!

90% of the time that we order Chinese take-out, it's PO SING, although there are several other much larger places in the other shopping centers in Mililani. We are creatures of habit. The usual orders (four or five) are picked from the following: 1) minute chicken with cake noodle and ung choy - the kids gobble up the cake noodles while I get most of the ung choy; 2) shrimp with broccoli; 3) Mongolian beef; 4) Singapore rice noodle, curried - primarily for me; 5) 1/2 lb. char siu; 6) chow funn; 7) long bean with chicken or pork; 8) Peking-style spare ribs (better than sweet-sour). My choices depend on my mood. We put on a pot of rice, call in the order, and pick it up in twenty minutes Occasionally, I'll order some pork hash and/or char siu bao (manapua). For dessert, rice cake or almond cookies.

Po Song Chinese restaurant resides in the Mililani Marketplace shopping Center, a fixture in the shopping scene for a good amount of years. This place reminds me of Patty's Chinese Kitchen at the Ala Moana Shopping Center, where they would cut and serve roast pork and other meats ala carte or by the pound. The other part would be that they would serve plate lunches as well. Parking is plentiful here, since it was apart of the Mililani Marketplace shopping center. This place seems like its a take out restaurant only. Definitely not a sit in restaurant by any means, but there was a short line as my friend and I came here, so there's business to attend to here. Chinese food has always been popular in Hawaii, so having one in this neck of Mililani works well. The staff was cordial and friendly, which was good. The overall experience was average and to be expected. Nothing else you would want out of this place. We were picking up some roast pork and other essentials for the Chinese Ancestrial remembrance month, affectionately known as Bai-San. While we were here, also got a plate lunch for my friend whereas I personally went to Subway next door. I personally can't stand Chinese restaurant food anymore, since it makes me sick and really nauseated. I guess this health kick / lifestyle really is making me reject it or something I've literally had grown up with for many years. With that said, Po Song Chinese restaurant's ambiance was not really good, but it is what it is. If you wanted elegance, this place surely wasn't it, but you can get whatever Chinese essentials you may be craving and if you are in the area. We paid in cash, assuming that they are cash only and of course cash currency is always king anyway. Didn't bother to check though, as we were in a slight hurry and on a schedule. Do try this place for your Chinese food fix and you'll be good. Prices were spot on and on par with what the majority of similar restaurants in the area and on Oahu at large. May be more expensive on the neighboring islands, but that's expected. It's Chinese food on a budget and you'll be glad you stopped by. Support local! B

I like their eggplant and chow fun. Very good roast pork and char siu too. Reliable, consistent food. Reasonable as well.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
