Welcomed with a smile and sample cups. Today, there are 4 dairy-free flavors and all but 1 dispenser was filled with yogurt. Added points to our smiley rewards card and even got the receipt with no problems. 6 stars!

Frozen Yogurt is the best. thing. ever. It's making a comeback!! Menchie's is such a good place for fro-yo. It's very clean there, and the flavors are so good! Although the toppings here are good, I have to admit that the yogurt is better at Yogurtland. But nevertheless, Menchie's is my favorite place to go with my friends. Oh, and if you're a poor student like me, just ask for a few sample cups...just kidding..maybe... ;)

Love coming here with the family. It's such a cool place (no pun intended). I love that the place is clean and colorful. I love getting the cake batter, but the past few times I've gone it's been out. So, I don't know what's going on. If that's out, though, I like getting the cookies and cream or the vanilla. I love how you can get your own toppings. I like getting hot fudge and almonds. Yum!!! Everyone else likes putting M&Ms and sprinkles and whatever else...so they go topping-crazy. It's like the other self-serve frozen yogurt places...so it's pay per weight. Price is reasonable. So don't worry!!!

Always a refreshing dessert after having dinner at the Town Center. The frozen yogurt flavors are true and tasty, and the topping are ooo-la-la! So much to choose from, so little room in the stomach.

Located right across AT&T on the cinema side of the mall. I love the retro cool look with the bright colors. Makes me happy going in there and the girls behind the counter are so friendly and generous with smiles. The regular tart is my favorite. Reminds me of Yami Yogurt frozen yogurt. They didn't have fruity pebbles when I went. That's my fave topping choice.

This place is the exact same setup as Yogurtland. Get your cup, pick your yogurts and toppings yourself, pay by weight. Nothing too innovative in the flavor and toppings. First place I see that has hot mashmellow cream and mochi bits though. Both are very good additions. Pleasant staff, lots of tables, relative clean shop are all pluses. Will definately revisit from time to time.

i'm glad that they brought a healthy dessert place to Mililani. Clean but full of teenies...i felt as though I was entering their turf. but the yogurt was yummy...love peanut butter and pistacio!

There's so many different froyo stores with such a variety. The flavor of yogurts were great, however, the chocolate, which is my favorite, was very soft and watery at the Mililani Menchies. Menchies in Mililani is also missing the hot marshmellow syrup that the Kapolei menchies has. It also doesn't have marshmellows for a topping. However, it did have the red velvet cake to go with the froyos. If you have the 2010 entertainment book, they have a coupon for buy one get one free, which make it more reasonable, considering it's the most expensive of the froyo stores I've tried. Rating the froyos I've been to (listing #1 first) in order, for their overall service, price, froyo taste and flavors, and various toppings: Cherry on top - Pearl City - 39 cents/oz Menchies - Kapolei - 43 cents/oz Yogurt Mama - Kailua - 42 cents/oz Menchies Mililani - 43 cents/oz Tropic Rush - Market City (heard they're closed but saw the same name has opened at Stadium Mall near ice palace) - 42 cents/oz Orange Tree - Waipahu - 42 cents/oz Yogurtland - Aiea - 42 cents/oz

This place is so adorable: *the ambiance *Irene-the employee working she was so nice & helpful (her hair was cute too, totally matched the work setting) *PINEAPPLE yogurt is to die for, taste of Hawaii for sure. parking is reasonable since there's a lot going on in this shopping center, but there is more than enough to do:movies, shopping, eat, & MENCHIE'S. price point-you pay for what you get, they weigh it here so if your eyes are bigger than your stomach. make sure to control your hand dropping the lever & putting those yummy toppings on. definitely coming back here if I'm in the area & in need of a yogurt fix.

Blame it on the tart, Got you feelin' smart. Blame it on the cake, Make you wanna shake.. Blame it on the fro-o-o-o-o-yo Blame it on the fro-o-o-o-o-o-yo! Finally! This third Menchie's franchise opened yesterday with a solid 4 stars! It is located in the Mililani Town Center (same as the movie theater, Star Market, Longs) and is between AMC and Pricebusters. The fro-yo was superb! I sampled the cake batter, Irish cream, lychee tart and the pomegranate tart but I came back to my trusted taro. It had the best consistency and texture that I've ever had. This fro-yo is thick enough where you can step outside in the hot HI weather and it would not immediately melt. The taste was right on the spot. They had 16 different flavors to choose from with tons of dried and fresh toppings. Unfortunately, they didn't have my Fruitty Pebbles! Oh wellz! They did have cut up cookie dough, brownies and red velvet cake. The mochi balls were kind of disappointing because they stuck together when I tried to pull a few off. At $0.43 an ounce, you can quickly go over board. Use control because this fro-yo raises the bar. With 12 tables, you can easily kick it inside. The cashier was super friendly and explained the concept to all the customers who came in. She also gave us sample cups to try all the flavors. Now I can really blame Menchie's for my fro-o-o-o-o-yo! revised: I dedicate this review to Eric H & Ohana. It was a very special visit because I got to see you today. You will be truly missed.

I love their yogurt, I love making it myself, I love all the options even tho I always stick to plain vanilla and chocolate swirl most of the time. I love the fun, comfortable atmosphere, the playful decor. So happy to have a frozen yogurt shop close to home. Prices are good too! Aloha, Darlene Popoalii

What's better than ice cream? Fro-yo, fro-yo! What's better than fro-yo? ...just kidding...I cannot tell cause this review is about MENCHIE'S! Can you believe that the first time I went Menchie's was just about a year ago?? Well, I followed..and went with my sister, her husband and our friend to Town Center for Menchie's. It's so easy to overload yourself with too much yummy goodness. Well, I was REALLY good and only put a little of each flavor I tried. I had cake batter, red velvet, and vanilla snow (or something like that) I liked it. I couldn't really get the cake batter flavor so I'm thinking that I should have that one by itself. But I did enjoy all the flavors I had. Plus I like that you can sample in little cups so if you wanted to you could have tried all the flavors before making a decision...which I almost did...I thought about it. I put sprinkles, marshmallow sauce, chocolate mochi, and chocolate chips on top of mine. I have to see I'm sure it's very easy to get carried away with toppings too...but keep in mind that price is based on weight and well, some toppings are heavier than others. I found out they are giving away a fun capsule sponge with every purchase and once you collect all the sponges, you get a free stress squeeze keychain. Cool. Too bad I missed 2 of the sponges. I also learned that there is a frequent buyer card that you can use to get points for stuff.. Not so sure how that works but since I'm queen of free and "memberships" i figured why the heck not? My red velvet selection caused some discussion about red velvet - "it's just chocolate flavor" says my bro-in-law. So my sister looked it up. It can be either chocolate or vanilla flavor..just depends how much cocoa is in the mix....if you make it from scratch that is. but I make red velvet from the box, thank you duncan hines! Off topic, sorry. Back to Menchie's. It wasn't too crowded but then again it was Monday night although it did get busy once we had sat down. I hope I get ballsy enough to try other flavors than just these 3 but I have to say they are my "go-to" flavors. I like em a whoooooooole lot! I need to eat more yogurt!!! Frozen yogurt!!! Delirious.need a nap. #Yelp 365 Challenge - 030/365

I really like this place. Really! If you introduced Mr. "Yogurtland" to Miss "Cherry on Top," in 9 months you'd have a bouncing new, baby Menchie's. Take a good look around and you'll see the resemblance in the decor, her father's lime green eyes and mother's rosy pink cheeks. Plenty of comfortable seating and a fun floor plan that swirls you around the checkout counter. Friendly & cheerful staff greet you as you walk in, and offer you sample cups without asking. Small or large size cups & even waffle-cone bowls, if you choose. Irish Mint - my favorite, cool, refreshing, lightly sweet & minty - perfect for the holidays. Vanilla Snow - lightly sweet, nice neutral compliment to the Irish Mint - good combo. Cake batter - hint of chocolate, taste just like cool, creamy cake batter. Cookies & Cream - don't really taste the cookies, just cool, milky vanilla flavor. Pink Lemonade - very tart & slightly lemony. Hot fudge & caramel topping! YESSS! That's something I didn't expect to find here. A variety of candy toppings continue to whirl you around the self-serve path. Finishing with a relatively small, but fresh assortment of fruit toppings. She's adorable! Fun & entertaining layout - friendly & cheerful staff - cool, refreshing flavors & great toppings. Congratulations! It's a Girl!

Right off the bat, I'm not a big dessert fan. That's just the way I am. When I'm at a buffet, I'll get one piece of every dessert just to try them all, not to finish them all. I would rather fill my tummy up with savory dishes. Now that I made that clear, on to Menchies... This place is conveniently located in the Mililani town center near the theaters. Walking into the place I was greeted with a couple of smiles and a nice, clean atmosphere. There are a bunch of tables to help you and your friends to have a great time enjoying some dessert on a nice, hot afternoon or to wind the night down with a healthy alternative treat. The employees were friendly and I got to sample a bunch of their multiple flavors that they have available. My favorites were the taro and cupcake. *TIP* Definitely ask for the sample cups if the employees haven't already offered and beaten you to it first. You definitely don't want to be paying for something that may not be to your liking. Sample it first! At $0.43 an ounce and me being a pint-sized dessert fan, my bill came out to be well under $3. I topped my taro and cupcake fro-yo off with some cinnamon toast crunch cereal, fruit loops, mochi balls, reese's peanut butter candies. Delicious! Final Comments: This place is great and is more than enough to hit that sweet-spot. When I'm in the mood again, this is definitely a go-to spot. Overall Rating: "EXCELLENT" Fro-yo with a plethora of toppings at its best, to what I've been exposed to at least. :)

Decent Selection of flavors. +1 Good topping choices. +1 Friendly Staff. +1 Good fairly quiet environment to sit back and chill. +1 Prices are Normal for a frozen yogurt place. 0 Hours of operation could be longer considering they are next to the theaters. But that's not enough to give them a negative. Notes: They have a fun chalk board to draw or write things on. I like to draw Clown faces on there, that may or maynot be a little menacing looking. (I make sure they don't look too evil so as not to traumatize any children though.)

i really love their taro flavored yogurt! They have GREAT selection for toppings which is cool. It kinda sucks how everything is weighed instead of paying by the cup. Also I can see if they did do that how else would they make their profit, lol When you walk in, to your left, you'll see a big huge chalk board, you can draw or doodle on it. If I still lived in Hawaii, I'll probably be here all the time. I am a FAN!!! Great place to end your evening with a little sweet.

Yesterday kicked off the stress inducing, hair pulling and overall sheer hell that is finals week. After knocking out half my finals in one day, I needed a reward. Ice Cream! No, wait, let's not gain 30 lbs during finals. FRO YO! Off to Menchie's I went with a girlfriend and her supper cute 17 month old. This being my first time I was stoked to see so many flavors. The girl behind the counter gave me several little tasters and I was on the hunt! Settled on three flavors, Devils Food, Pistachio and your standard go to Vanilla. So many choices! So many toppings! After filling my cup to the brim with almonds, reces pieces, strawberry mochi, heath bar bits and condensed milk I was off to pay. Then my cup was placed on the scale (rut-ro!). I didn't know it was pay by the weight so I was nervous for the bill for a split second, under $6! Not to shabby for the little glutton in me! The decor reminds me of an Ikea. I dig it. Fro yo was tasty. I was happy. Going back soon.

Came here twice since I'm out of state I can't come often. Last year I think I was pretty impressed with the french vanilla and peanut butter flavored yogurt. This year I went again, but it wasn't as tasty as I remembered it. I had the french vanilla and chocolate.

Came here for dessert after a good lunch at the shopping center. I always liked how the waffle bowls are really fresh. There's a lot of toppings, and its got that same yogurt chain setup that pretty much is just like the other two. So what stands our really? I think the yogurt consistency tends to be on the less viscous side over at menchies, and also there are a lot of sweet flavors. Kind of makes the yogurt seem more akin to... ice cream, rather than yogurt. Who doesn't love cereal with their ice cream/frozen yogurt??? Well... okay I'm sure someone doesn't... but yes, I do. Its not something to go crazy over, but frozen yogurt is pretty good. soft-serve heaven: Like it? then its for you. Like solids... Well baskin robins isn't too far away! This was my first venture into Menchies conveniently placed (for high school kids galore) into Mililani's Towne Center. The decor and ambiance is such that you would expect, similar to what Ive seen of the other stores. The flavors were all VERY different, i tried the Taro and Lychee and a few others, but i must be very boring b/c Vanilla tasted the best!! hehe I went on a Saturday evening (9pm or so) and it was PACKED from the waist down. There were children running RAMPANT and screaming, goofing off, etc etc I suppose its to be expected of a place like this, but it was a tad sickening waiting in line behind 7 and 10 year olds that were digging the toppings out with their hands. This is in no way a slight to the place itself. The cashiers were helpful and charismatic. All fairly young but at least cognizant of what it took to have a smile on and be helpful! The merchandise they had on hand was cute and contemporary Will def go back again just not on a busy evening perhaps!

One of my favorite places for froyo! I always get the same thing no matter where I go - vanilla froyo, fresh strawberries and hot fudge. This location always has great fresh strawberries available. And hot fudge is a must that isn't always available at froyo places -- not chocolate syrup! Delicious and fair pricing. They also have a rewards program I think you get $5 credit for every $50 spent which can add up quickly!

  • Christopher S.

Nice and clean and the workers are friendly. There is always a good selection of flavors and the toppings are more than enough. Wether it is fresh strawberries or liliokoi there is more than enough to choose from if you want a little or a lot you are charged by weight so indulge. The kids love it here to you can sample to your hearts delight and find your perfect pairing. Light and fruity or rich and chocolatey you are in the right place.

23 years old and I had never tried frozen yogurt until Menchie's. Crazy righ? I've always been near a froyo spot but never really bothered to check em out until this one really hot day....And WOW that's some good stuff! I swear just the whole open circular room painted with bright cutesy colors and lit up by natural light drew me in. While staring in from the outside I thought "well.....it's hot and that place looks cool.....looks like I'm losing my froyo virginity today. I'm down!" So I head in and oh my gosh Menchie's offers the one thing that amuses me at only a few restaurants: the opportunity to mix and match whatever the hell I want, as much as I want!! I scuttled from flavor to flavor, trying every single one with the little tester cups the cashier handed me (she had fun watching this newbie run about like a kid in a candy store). Wow it was exciting, hahaha. I think I actually clapped and squealed when I saw the "red velvet" flavor. How embarrassing is that?! Anyhow moving on, it was all yummy and so refreshing. While I do love my red velvet cake, I think as a froyo it wasn't really the best flavor. I opted for the banana and strawberry mixture with some mochi mango and a few other toppings, all for less than $5! Though I did have a fantastic time here, I'd have to say that the amount of sugar in every froyo flavor testing was way overwhelming. I mean it tasted good, but after a while I swear things just started tasting all the same. I'd say a little less than half the flavors I've tried stood out uniquely. I'd go back though, that strawberry and banana mix was really really good!

Coming from a city on the mainland where you can't swing a dead cat by it's tail without hitting a fro yo place, Menchie's was very good! It was clean and not crowded after dinner. The taro flavor is fantastic! All the machines were in good working order and plenty of topping choices. Its a tad cold in there but there is plenty of seating outdoors. You will enjoy this place! We did as well as our children.

This is one of the best openings TC could have come up with. It's a pretty spacious facility, and it's always bright. The workers are really nice and friendly. If we can't find seats inside, there's always a ton of benches all around TC to enjoy yogurt. I think that Menchies has better toppings than Yogurtland. This Yogurtland always has fresh fruits, and it's always in stock.

Visited here for the first time during lunch. Like their selection and loved their pumpkin and eggnog flavor: Surprisingly rich and flavorful. Glad to see they're here next to the cinemas. A welcome alternative to 31 full fat flavors nearby.

OMG...I ate there with my 5 year old daughter and my friend and her daughter today for the first time. We had strawberry ice cream and I think brownie mudslide or something like that, with chocolate fudge syrup, sprinkles, and peanut butter m&m's...awesome! Good price for amazing flavor! Very clean, and nice atmosphere. Can't wait to drag my husband back for some more :-D

The froyo machine was dripping condensation into my cup steadily. The fruit looked like yesterday's left overs , brown , gross and had several stoked flies. Learned what NOT to get. Thanks

Suuuper yummy, we loved it, perfect treat after a fun factory play date! We got the vanilla yogurt with fruit toppings, maybe a couple brownies too ;) Wish they had more fruit selection tho.

Love me some Menchie's! For us its usually a question of shave ice or fro-yo after the beach. When we choose fro-yo we hit up Menchie's. I love the variety of flavors offered from fruit inspired to coffee to other local favorites. Toppings are vast and varied as well. Its a simple and inexpensive treat for my kiddos (and myself). They love mixing up their own concoctions and are so proud to share what they combined. After they play on the chalkboard. They are pretty much in heaven...its the simple things right? Make sure to get the reward card, you earn points with purchases, free points for registering online and they add up to saved $$ quickly.

I love their blueberry tart yogurt topped with kiwis and strawberries! YUM! Its the perfect end to a filling meal, or a nice treat on a hot day. Although the fruit punch yogurt with gummy bears is also pretty tasty. :) Think I might need to get some today! And those adorable spoons!!

Who doesn't love a nice frozen yogurt especially in this hot hawaii weather!?? It is so light and refreshing. I love to come here after having a nice hot meal at the mililani town center. The place is so cute and it is very kid friendly. They have an anti bacterial which is good for the people/children who didn't get to wash their hands. Not that they would need it since normal people use a spoon to eat their froyo. My favorite flavones are handsdown cheesecake, vanilla and cake batter. They don't always have bake batter on but when they do it's a treat for me. I love to too my froyo with coconut flakes, roasted almonds and some mochi. I have yet to add some hot fudge or Nutella. It is pretty much a do it yourself self serve type. They have little cuppies so you can try out the many different flavors. This time around I tried the pistachio almond which was not as good as I thought. It was a little too tarty for my liking. The people who work there are usually high school kids. They are usually nice. I haven't had an issue at this certain location. But who comes into menchies with a bad attitude. If anything this place always fills my stomach with so much love and happiness. Yes that is the inner fat girl taking. This is definitely a must have after eating a nice meal. It always hits the spot and doesn't leave you feeling too fat.
