Love the fried rice here! Baked chicken & Pork chop is to die for!! Also tried clams w/ black bean sauce.. Expect to wait order more time because there's only one cook..

Got the pho and spring rolls. The pho tasted GREAT!! The only thing that sucked was that they had no AC. So make sure you're really in the mood for pho or you're eating super early in the morning when it isn't too hot out yet.

We were craving for Viet food and found this place in Lahaina. I ordered the combo pho, which cost about $13! I guess can't complain about the price since everything in Maui is expensive. For $13 pho, it only has meat balls, tripes, and slice beef. It was okay, nothing unique. Their thai tea however was pretty good. The menu is in english so the dish is cater toward american tourists.

This place looks pretty phoking scary at first glance but I assure you that it's really phoking good. I had the Rare Steak Pho and the other half got the chicken pad Thai. Both were very tasty and would definitely be ordered again upon return. Pros: -great pho -really nice staff -accept credit cards (no Amex) -they validate parking if you park in the paid lot in the back so you can park free Cons: -looks sketchy -no air conditioning

I brought my Vietnamese parents here, and they approved. Mind you, they're "pho" connoisseurs, live in Orange County where they have their picks of the best Vietnamese restaurants, and are quite difficult to please. From the broth to the pho noodles to the rare steak to the abundance of fresh herbs, everything was up to their expectation. The hostess/owner was genuinely friendly and down to earth. We felt so welcomed there. The humble location made a lasting impression during our Maui vacation. This pho restaurant is a rare gem and not to be missed.

I love their char siu seimen with shrimp tempura. The broth is delicious good and the tempura is super crunchy and perfect when dip into the sweet chili sauce. You must try this dish! I give a five star rating for this dish ^_^

Delicious! We came on our honeymoon straight off the plane and definitely made it back again. Had the steak pho and shrimp rolls - a must have maui meal!

Comfort food for those who need an Asian fix! The pho broth was very good and they have meatballs, rare steak, and tripe varieties. The Summer/Spring roll (non-fried) was OK - but not spectacular. The vermicelli noodle dish was surprisingly good! Great prices and the service was excellent. They also validate parking for the hidden lot behind the restaurant.

Great fooooood, peanut sauce was great with the spring rolls! Vegan-vegetarian options are great, 3 different meals all good. The only thing was.... One of our members of 7 was not served unfortunately.

Service was a little slow to start, but good food and friendly service. I would definitely go back.

Amazing food! Amazing price! This was the first stop on the honeymoon right after we got off the plane and we are definitely coming back. Yum!

I am a total Pho aficionado I have Pho every where I go....I live close to San Jose Ca. where there is the highest population of Vietnamese people second only to Saigon. So lots of Pho restaurants sometimes on every corner. This place has one of the richest broths I have tasted well seasoned and not greasy. Veggies are fresh.....The owner she is a delight hard working very friendly person. She has great history that has landed her in Maui. The spring rollers were perfect some of the best I have had. We went to Pho Saigon twice in a week so so good. Mahalo!! **Looks like there is 2 yelp pages for this place??

We're from Oahu and are here for a mini family vacation. My bf, toddler and I were craving for Pho and came across this place using Yelp! First sip of their broth and we couldn't wait to dig in. Broth is honestly one of the best we've tasted and we've been to many Pho places. Staff and service was awesome; my daughter dropped and cracked one of the ceramic spoons and the lady was nice about it.

Went back a year later in January for dinner. Excellent sweet & sour soup as well as their green papaya salad. They weren't that busy and yet the wait was very long to have our order taken and then a long wait to get our food. The wait was worth it as the food was fresh and excellent. The location leaves a bit to be desired.

Moving from Northern VA (NOVA) to San Francisco, one thing that felt inferior was the selection of pho restaurants. Needless to say, I didn't expect Maui to have a pho restaurant. Just the luck of the draw, Saigon 808's sign caught my eye when browsing through downtown Lahaina. We stopped in for a bowl of pho and their clay pot with prawns..... DELICIOUS!!!! Just what i needed to cure my hangover! Lastly, the staff was super friendly!

We walked in this hidden at the back restaurant without knowing it. After the wobbly boat/submarine rides, we were hot, hungry, and somewhat seasick. We asked them for some hot tea to calm down our stomach. It took them 10 minutes to make us the tea. We were puzzled thinking that guess no one would order hot tea in Hawai'i during hot hot middle of the day. Then I tasted something different in the tea. The ladies were taking their time to boil us a pot of fresh ginger tea, which will soothing my stomach from the seasick. I felt much better after drinking a few cups. The food came and we finished them in no time. We went back the day before our departure. I ordered their Vietnamese Pad Thai, and tasted very good. It was so tasty, and I finished the giant plate of pad thai. :) Great experience! Their service maybe slow because they take time to cook us fresh tasty dishes, and we were told that it is the Maui lifestyle. :)

Came for pho last night. Had combo bowl. Lots of noodles, good broth. Will definitely be back.

We ordered vegetarian papaya salad, eggplant with tofu, mixed vegetables with tofu and a lemonade. Papaya salad was okay - lacked spice, hardly any nuts, and the papaya lacked tart. The mixed vegetables were quite good, but the eggplant with tofu was ridiculously greasy. The lemonade was very sweet. The service was not satisfactory either - our salad and then our main course was brought out while our friends waited on their appetizers! The girl serving was nice, but seemed least concerned.

Wow. This place is delicious. Had the chicken pad thai. Bummer we're vacationing, otherwise I'd be here weekly! Also, if you park behind the business they can validate your ticket.

Love this place! I had the Siamin with Charsui and it was delicious! Very simple dish, but broth and pork was so tasty that I had to come back! I tried the pho dac biet and it was satisfying :) even on a warm day! The broth is really great, and the meat was perfect. Best Vietnamese restaurant in Maui! :-)

Excellent Vietnamese food. Although tucked away in the Wharf Cinema on Front Street, take the time to find this place. It's so worth it. Parking lot is in the back of the building and they validate. What they advertise themselves as, is the most authentic food and it truly is. The green papaya salad with shrimp was outstanding. Crisp, fresh and just the right amount of dressing. The chicken wings appetizer was delicious. Crispy, just fried and great flavor. We were the 2nd table in the restaurant, so it was good timing. Everything is prepared fresh and made to order, so the food takes a bit, but let me tell you, it's soooooo worth the wait... Okay, back to to the food now. We also had the rare beef, tripe and beef balls pho was phenomenal. The broth outstanding in flavor. The eggplant tofu was also excellent. I have lived here for 10 months and little did I know we had such an outstanding restaurant in Lahaina. If you love good Vietnamese food, you will fall in love with this place. Go and try it. Fresh lemonade is made to order and is so refreshing. Overall, an outstanding restaurant.

Wouldnt go in if your party is larger than 5 or 6. The food however was good. The pho had a good flavor to it without adding condiments. The price for a bowl, however, is too much compared to back at home. Other than that, the service was very nice to us and the food tasted great.

Had lunch here. The staffs were happy to speak Vietnamese with me. We ordered 3 different dishes. Pho combo, vermicelli with lemongrass chicken curry. One order was shaken beef was not in the menu but they obliged to our order and made the dish. The foods we're delicious. Glad we came in.

Great place for Pho and other Vietnamese food. Kinda hidden away in the back... But those are the best places to go. We're from Cali and the taste was authentic ! The kids loved it too . Paid more for pho than Cali, but this Maui .. Everything is more. I definitely recommend this place. Plus, the locals seem to like this place too. Try it.

I have to admit, we were pretty worried when the server admitted that she was cooking while the actual chef was on vaca and she couldn't cook half of the dishes on the menu. However, the food was quite good. The pho was very simple, cinammony broth and the grilled beef was tasty. We sat outside because they didn't have AC on in the restaurant, but we didn't mind because the tables were clean and the waitress/cook kept checking in on us. If you're in the mood for some affordable Viet food in Lahaina, give this place a try!

Huge fan on this particular Pho place. I was surprised to find a authentic Pho place in Maui. Don't expect much of a service (I guess same in the mainland), and it's a bit pricey ($12 for a small bowl of pho). Other than that, this is the spot we go for Pho.

Craving vietnamese food. And this was the closest place to our hotel. Great service. There's actually vietnamese employees. The lady was so sweet. Our food arrived promptly and it was delicious. We ordered the pho $12.95, spring rolls $6.95 , and the Pad Thai $10.95. Would definitely come back here again despite the pricey dishes. Rent in maui must be expensive.

This is the place to go if you are craving for Pho in 100+ degree heat. I didn't want to like this place just cause it's in maui, and everything here is so overpriced, but it was surprisingly really good for a hole in the wall. it's pretty hidden, way in the back. don't blink or you'll miss it.

Tofu vegetable pho was quite filling and tasty; they weren't chintzy on the basil and we got plenty of it. I recommend the charsui saimin with shrimp tempura. The portions here are large; we could have easily split a dish. Food is worthy. I knocked off a star for ambience because they had the television blaring loud and that's obnoxious.

Food was amazing! After having terrible service at the Indian restaurant below, it was nice to eat somewhere with good customer service.

Pho was ok here. It's definitely does not compare to Orange County, CA. A bowl of pho was $13! Everything in Maui is expensive so I guess this shouldn't have been a surprise! There were little gnats in the fish sauce that came with egg rolls so we didn't use that sauce. They did give us lots of bean sprouts and greens which was a plus since other places are stingy. The staff was really nice. I wouldn't go here unless I was really craving pho.

It's a little pricey but what do you expect in Lahaina? Service was excellent although it was a little after lunch and I was the only one in there. The pho soup itself was very tasty and slightly oilier than most other places. The only bad thing about this place is it's location. You have to walk from either the street or pay to park in the parking lot which is still an effort to get from. You can't simply call in an order to pick up. Might as well just eat there.

This place is awesome! We had the Pho and a wonderful Thai style yellow curry.. I've been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants but this one is something special!

Great service but the pho sucked. Too greasy. Taste like instant pho from a package.

Pho was pretty good, much better than I expected for such a small restaurant. The pho had good flavor. The fried rice was good too.

Pho was good. Good size portion and good flavor. Wish they had Bun on the menu, however, they also have Thai food as well. Service was great! I'd come here again.

While I don't claim to be a pho connoisseur, I take extra delight in this sumptuous soup, which is the national dish of Vietnam. I'm so enamored, in fact, that my sister (to whom I introduced the dish) frequently refers to me as her "pho bro." I've never been known to refuse a bowl, and I have eaten it in places all over. I have my favorite restaurant at home to which I measure all others. None has yet measured up. Until now. I'll still give the nod to my #1 place, as they specialize and serve only pho. The options on Pho Saigon 808's menu are severely limited. This is a full-on Vietnamese restaurant, despite the name. But oh, the pho! I had the rare meat choice, and the soup came hot, the meat was lovingly tender, the broth was flavorful, and condiments plentiful. Lemon took the place of the customary lime wedge, but I doubt limes are plentiful in Maui. "Comfort in a bowl" is what I've heard pho referred as, and if I were choosing to relocate to Maui, knowing there's pho this good to be had here would help tip the scales! I rarely dine at the same place twice when I travel, but unless my plans are terribly skewed the next couple of days, I'm planning on having lunch there again before I depart!
