This is a smaller store in the Queens Marketplace in the Waikoloa resort area of the Kohala Coast on the Big Island. They are very attentive and the line moves quickly. They have most newspapers with the exception of the New York Times. Their selection of pastries and breakfast items are the same as most other Starbucks. The store manager also stopped by my table to take a quick survey as to their operation here. Good service and a clean store!

We came here for my free birthday drink for using the membership card! You can have any drink you want! So, of course, I go online to find the best drink for me on their secret menu! Yes, they have a secret menu! Oops, might not be so secret anymore! Haha! I got a Thin Mint Frap! And it was awesome how the girl worker automatically knew I wanted the biggest one, the venti! The place was clean, the workers were nice, but my only complaint is that it's a bit small. Good thing we got there in time, because the seats ran out quickly!

You expect a certain standard when you enter a Starbucks. Although I feel like the staff here tries really hard, there are two major points that results in this disappointing rating. 1. No bathrooms. You are directed to bathrooms in the shopping center BUT those bathrooms are not open at 6am. I was on a big morning walk and stopped in for a refreshing treat. Then I had to use the potty before the big walk back to the hotel but no restrooms were available. Not acceptable for a coffee shop. 2. The were always out of something I wanted. First the were out of cold brew for about 5 days. Then they were out of coconut (which is part of their signature drink in Hawaii) for over a week. I can understand if they were out of perishable food items but this seemed unacceptable. After several frustrating attempts here, I decided to drive 5miles up the road to Mauna Lani to go to Kimobean coffee.

Yup. Starbucks on the Big Island of Hawaii. Well for most it's the best of both worlds. You get you cake / frapp and paradise too! The usual Starbucks menu will put you at ease. The cool drinks will chill the hot humid temps and put a smile on your face. Free wifi / they take the app too. Only thing that would put it over the top is a drive thru - haha. Oh and I gave it a solid 5 stars for using local Kona coffee here!

A modest Starbucks which is perfect if you're staying in Waikoloa. Stopped here on the way to a conference for my morning espresso fix and also ordered an Oprah Chai Latte for the road. My drinks were good but it was quite busy at 8:30am so don't expect to get out of there in less than five minutes if you're in a rush. Although this isn't a "local" coffee shop, which is always my preference, this is a convenient option before you hit the road. Sometimes you just need a few sips of corporate branded consistency to get your morning going...

They advertised a coconut mocha Frappuccino... I believe this is a local flavor as I haven't noticed it elsewhere. I tried to order my usual iced black tea lemonade. They were out of stock on lemonade because they didn't receive their order. Can't really fault them for Hurricane Ana related issues, but that meant walking out without a drink :(!

Great Starbucks experience. The manager Tim and his crew provided a delicious beverage and wonderful customer service. Already looking forward to my next visit!

The drink were on par, the service and energy was not. Maybe we came at a bad time, but it seemed like everyone working was pissed off or something. I could almost taste the bad energy in the air. Awkward.

Regular Starbucks. Not much room for long line. It could get congested. We came to this Starbucks twice during this time. It is conveniently located at Queens Market Place.

Great location with indoor and outdoor seating. It was nice and cool inside. Frappuccino was great and the baristas were very friendly and nice. I couldn't find a bathroom which was annoying but overall, great experience for a which coffee. They also sold some fun items especially if you're a tourist like me like cute coffee cups.

This Starbucks location is the best coffee spot in the area (somewhat sad considering the Big Island is known for Kona Coffee). The employees are friendly and pleasant, and the drinks come out really quickly! They also still have the old pastries (which were a nice treat and break from the nasty La Boulange ones back home!). As usual, great place for your morning coffee fix.

Your average Starbucks with slightly higher prices, 100% Kona coffee and some island drinks such as the Coconut - Mocha Frappucino, which was nice. The barista remembered to ask if I wanted whipped cream, but then ignored my answer and put the whipped cream anyway. Felt like lunch at my mom's house when I refuse her offer for seconds and get it anyway. I came here because of the reviews praising the coffee, but it's just another Starbucks. Better coffee, service and food and Kona Coffee Co. up in Waimea.

Not sure why I'm reviewing this since Starbucks is Starbucks and there's only one coffee shop around here- that being said, they have all the regular schmeg, only at Island prices. Still better than the hotel coffee shop though, add some pastries and you have a much cheaper breakfast than the hotel buffet. Walking distance from the Marriott Waikoloa.

We stopped by here twice during our weeklong stay. If you want to save 50% off of resort-prices, definitely stop by here! I'm sure there are more unique/local alternatives, but this place is not bad. Went twice, and had a so-so experience with the name I wanted on my cup. Suffice it to say, guy in front of me had the same name, and I got into a 15 second back and forth about potentially grabbing the wrong drink. After all that, the mocha coconut frap wasn't bad either since they serve that in California. A few days later, on our way to the airport, I had ordered a Caramel Macchiatto Frap... Not sure what I was thinking at the time because I just wanted a Caramel Frap. They made the first frap and I did not say anything... got back in line and I apologized and ordered a simple Caramel Frap. The cashier refunded me the first drink (she remembered me!) and charged me the correct amount and made a new Caramel Frap from scratch. Very impressed with the level of service they offered. 3.5 stars for the first journey, but 6 stars for the second visit.4.5 to 5 stars, so 5 stars it is!

We stopped in here after checking out of our nearby hotel. It's a small Starbucks that seems to attract a lot of customers due to its location. It's in a shopping center in one of the main entrances and that shopping center services a lot of vacationers. The only downside was that the inside was too small with the long line but being that it's in Hawaii you have plenty of outside seating and can have the doors open in the winter. The service was great and our orders came out fast. We loved how this location offered drinks and products that could only be ordered or bought in Hawaii. I picked up an ornament that you can only buy in Hawaii which was really cute.

Came here twice. First time was right before they close and the second time was early in the morning. Tried the oprah's chai tea latte. It was good. I like it. Call me a sheep who likes to follow the herd. I couldn't sleep after that though. I was up like an owl. Hoo! Hoo! Like the geico commercial. Hoo!

Slow and inefficient. 5 tables inside, though several more outside which helps since Kona usually has good weather. Took a while to order and receive drink even though there was few people here. Ordered a grande golden ginger ale. Drink was fine and baristas were friendly.

Friendly service and you can't beat the prices compared to island grocery shopping! Grocery= bagels 7.99, cream cheese 4.99, milk 9.99 (!), and coffee 11.99. Starbucks= bagel with cream cheese and cafe misto for under 5 bucks made perfectly.

Very small. I would say the shop is a "short" rather than the "Grande's" I'm use to on the Island of Oahu. I went at 3pm and they were packed.... 10 people. Just too small for being one of the very few to non-existent coffee shops near my resort. The staff were nice, though it's like a rush-rush-rush and you get no whee fast. But, hey, it's Starbucks and if it wasn't so darn good.... I would have gone for a very long drive to find something else. It's like thanksgiving here.... A taste of home. My home Starbucks that is.

A nice vente Pikes Place blend as you stroll outside to the Petroglyph trail or the coastal trail behind the Marriott. A killer piece of lemon pound cake with 12 million calories. How can you not be a fan. Some people hate Starbucks... But I don't want to beg for good coffee, and I'll never have to with a Starbucks nearby. : )

After traipsing around Hawaii, twisting my ankle, and then getting stuck in a car without a/c for 2 hours..we found a Starbucks blasting A/C and promising a cold drink irresistable. First off, Starbucks in Hawaii are shockingly more expensive...and by more expensive, I mean add a little more than a dollar per drink. $5 on a drink?? yeeks! The barista forgot the lemonade in the passion iced tea lemonade in the drink order before ours..and forgot the lemonade in the same drink on our order. She was nice and gave us the one without lemonade..so we had 2 venti cups.. No complaints there! Clean, cool, nice people..not too bad, just expensive.

Super hot, good coffee after drinking the swill water they serve in the hotel room at the Waikoloa FTW! They were serving 100% Kona Coffee too. It was like drinking super hot liquid heaven. NECTAR OF THE GODS! Is what I was yelling outside the door. 076/365 yelp challenge

I'm writing this review for this location of Starbucks because it was the only place near our hotel (Fairmont Orchid) that offered free wifi that was strong enough to allow us to use our iPads! Thank you Starbucks!!! It was nice to sit outside - enjoy the warm tropical breeze, get online and sit and sip!

They claim this drink is only available in Hawaii...Mocha Coconut Frappuccino. It was delicious. While you're there, pick up a couple of Hawaii Starbucks mugs which I definitely know are only available there.

I came here 3 times during my stay in Kona. Twice in the morning to get a cup of Kona coffee and one at night using the $2 drink coupon to get a coconut frappacino. I think the Kona coffee is available only in Kona. The Kona coffee takes time to make as they don't have it sitting around in a pot. I enjoyed all the drinks. I would've tried the Kona coffee at the local coffee shops but none of them are open early in the morning. They only get 3 stars because they didn't put soy milk in the frappacino as we ordered.

the only other coffee place in this shopping plaza is jungle edge coffee.. after hubby had a bad cup of very light, watered down iced coffee, we went to starbucks the next day. he loves their iced americano. it was the same consistency and price. that's why you go to places like starbucks. no matter where you are in the world, you can have the cup of joe that you know and love.

coconut mocha frap. to die for.

For the love of all that is good and decent, why would anyone come HERE?! Especially as this very Island is World renowned for its coffee....KONA COFFEE! Ever heard of it?!?! Well the answer to the question above all boils down to, you guessed it, convenience......Starbucks is the ONLY coffee joint w/in walking distance to where we're staying. Next closest place is a 30 min drive each way ( literally ) And might I also point out that there are TWO.....right across the street from each other - in typical Starbucks fashion ....yes Starbucks has even saturated the market here in Waikoloa - how depressing! Oh the shame of it all.......

I always loved my Starbucks especially when I get my frap. Mmmm... But man, I have to give this place a 2. One star goes toward their drinks and the other star goes towards the cleanliness of the place. Negative on their customer service! Okay, maybe the barista was tired and decided to just toss my change into my hand instead of actually handing them to me. Hahaha, afterwards, my barista (poor thing) just slid my drink and tossed my straw with a ''Here you go!'' Yep, she must be tired. I think I'll just go to Jungle Edge Coffee instead.

Sometimes you just want Starbucks, even when you're in Hawaii. This was a great location, clean, friendly staff and cool decor. I liked it!

No longer offer Hawaiian coffee as they did on my last visit, and oddly enough they were a bit upset I bothered to ask. Otherwise this is similar to any other Starbucks of course, and prices weren't hiked too much for Hawaii.

Good for a Star$s, but that ain't saying much. Go to Jungles Edge across the street instead.

Typical Starbucks, consistent as any other. Easy parking, service was great, and quick. Walking distance from our hotel so convenience was a plus and when they did take a bit long one morning they gave me a coupon for a free coffee to use the next time I came in. Frequented often the week we were there.
