I always come up here to get my kids a popsicle or ice cream after dining at Cafe Pesto. The staff are very friendly and I highly recommend coming here for drinks, sandwiches, etc.

I was in Hawaii and we were getting gas and I looked next door and there was a Deli I thought go local went and checked it out and yummy . Staff very helpful very informative very friendly. I had the Kimchi salad(Crab Poke) fantastic if you like kimchi which I'm a fan of you will love this Crisp spicy sweet all in a single bite $5.99 lb. and enough for 6 people to share both salads . I also had the Potato Mac Salad which is a island staple this was by far the best on the island had lots of flavor not bland like almost all the others $3.99 lb. They were both a perfect addition to our Picnic Lunch .

Great Sandwich! Went to get 4 sandwiches for my family, was in and out in under 10 minutes with fresh made sandwiches, very friendly service. Also try the Mac Salad

Really helpful as an alternative to spending all our money at the Mauna Kea! We loaded up on supplies here from beer to sunscreen to chips. Very convenient and nice management. Save the money you would spend at the resorts for things like $40 breakfast - grab a yogurt or sandwhich here and splurge on a great place like Merriman's for dinner.

Convenient place to stop by for drinks or snacks if you are staying in the Kawaihae area. Friendly staff. Only downside is the sandwiches from the deli counter were a disappointment and not good value.

Friendliest staff we encountered on the island, and that's saying A LOT! My wife had a the turkey sandwich with chips which was really good. Only negative was all the mayo they use in the pastrami burger special. I have an iron stomach and this made me sweat for a moment when I thought I was going to lose it. But overall I'm always a fan of the local spots and would give this another try and mark this up to a fluke.

Great spot to grab a delicious to-go lunch to the beach, pick up a pair of flip-flops and sunscreen, or snag a just-brewed Kona coffee for the road! Friendly staff always makes a visit to this local convenience store a pleasure.

Want to eat "local", even when you are staying in an expensive Kohala resort room? Teriyaki burger - delicious. Flavor is in the meat, not gooped on as a sticky afterthought. Deluxe cheeseburger - more than enough, and tasty meat. Potato Mac salad - I'm no connoisseur so I will call it good. Friendly, patient service.
