Teddy’s Bigger Burgers Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

After moving from the mainland I have all but given up hope that I would find a good burger place in Hawaii. We came in with the intention of taking the food out on account of my Emotional Support Animal--he's a puppy still and he hasn't quite adapted to a crowded restaurant setting to our liking, so often times we eat at home--and for the first time ever, the manager encouraged us to stay and eat! They were very accommodating, checking on us here and there and giving us a run-down on the menu. I loved the setting inside the restaurant and the burgers were so much better than the last place that we ate at on the mainland! I still can't get over how welcoming they were towards Diesel (my ESA), and that was a first in my book! I didn't get so much as a funny look like I normally do, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The burgers are a little pricey, but to be honest for the quality of the food you are getting with all the options for sides and toppings, it's worth every penny! I will be returning! (:

I couldn't believe the awful service I got here today! I usually love Teddy's but I guarantee I'll never go back to this location! I placed three separate orders over the phone and I had it repeated back to me twice and I thought everything was fine. When I got there I had to ask for the orders to be separated and they had put a beef patty when I had asked for a salmon patty on one of the burgers. The lady helping us, I think her name was Raielle and her tag said manager, was very nice and assured us that the correct burger was coming out. She also told us twice that the incorrect burger was free of charge. Then as we sat outside a worker, she was not wearing a name tag, came out and dug through our bag and TOOK THE BURGER THEN LEFT! If she had told us that the burger wasn't free and told us that she had to take it back that would be fine but no, she rudely took the burger and left without saying anything to us other than just asking if that was the burger they got wrong. I can't believe the awful service here. Never coming back. You are better off going to Burger King. They also wouldn't give us student discount, only UH they said. I guess LCC doesn't count. I just now read that they give kamaaina discount?! Why not offer that to us? Awful, just awful.

For some reason I thought it was a good idea to come to this Teddys instead of the one I live closer to. I hate having to write reviews for it to be negative, but here it goes... Came in around lunch time, line is completely long & there is only one girl on a register. There was a male with a different colored shirt right next to her, maybe he was a manager?, but he did not get up to help the line go down. Instead we stood in line for a good 10 minutes with this guy just looking up and watching the line grow. Why? Finally we were able to order & did not receive friendly customer service. I understand they were getting slammed and this person was the only one taking orders, but she could have at least smiled. This place has great ratings, but it had to be the one time I come in that I receive a bad experience. Maybe it was just today, but still, it makes me question whether it was worth my time to come here.

This place is pretty solid! Flame grilled burgers, available in three different sizes ranging from big to biggest and its BYOB! This is a Hawaiian chain and they have about 11 locations around the Hawaiian Islands as well as one location and Iowa, one in Texas, one coming to California, have several openings in the Philippines and Thailand. I believe this is one of their newest locations, as this is an area that will soon have a shit ton of new houses and shopping centers in the near future. This particular location was extremely clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I ordered the Swiss mushroom burger and for the size I ordered is biggest, which was a 7 ounce patty. The burgers take a little while to come out because it's clearly not fast food, it's more of a fast casual dining atmosphere. Sort of like Burgermonger back in Tampa or Five Guys Burgers and Fries up and down the East Coast. However, I think the burgers here are a bit more experimental than the previously mentioned chains. I really enjoyed my burger tonight with the exception of one thing, which was some sort of yellow sauce that I couldn't place my finger on. I'm not sure if it was some sort of honey mustard or a hollandaise sauce, but I didn't like it. One last feature that I really liked what does it have a sink in the dining room the soda machine. I think it's a nice thought to be able to wash your hands completely without having to go to an actual restroom. I just took a picture of the sink because it desperately needs some calcium and lime remover. A bit of this stuff and that sink will be looking brand new. I would not be sad if one of these found its way to Tampa Florida.

Best burgers I've ever had....they are a bit expensive.....but it's totally worth it. Friendly customer service, good food, wet naps ...I think I come here too often

Not a bad place to eat. But I've had better. It's pricey burgers to me. But the staff is friendly and polite. It's a cute place in a shopping center. Bathroom is clean and so is the dining area.

Teddy's Bigger Burgers is my favorite "go to" burger joint! The newest one in Kapolei is located by Foodland so there's lots of parking. The interior is super clean, the service is excellent, and the staff is super friendly. If dining in, they'll even bring the food to your table. What I like is a sink w/ soap dispenser to wash my hands since the burgers are so juicy that it becomes messy. They even have TV's (ESPN) to entertain you - sports bar effect. Upgrade to "Umami Fries" - well worth it!

We had a fantastic visit to this location!!! The gentleman that took our order was very polite and just so pleasant! I'm so sorry I didn't get his name but I'll be sure to catch it next time to update this review! On to the food! I brought very hungry bears here and let's just say they left with full bellies, smiles on their fuzzy faces and left overs for midnight snacks!!! I love the variety of sides besides just ur plain ol fries! We ordered our burgers well done and they were so juicy which is rare when they're asked to be made well done!! The 5oz patties were more than enough for two of my Cubs while the other went for the 7oz...he finished it but that left his fries unfinished! A very rare occurrence with this cub! Check out our pictures for what we had...it was worth every dollar of the $40+ we spent on 3 combos!! Mama bear and her Cubs shall return one day soon!!!

Went there for a quick bite last night. We been here once before and we're pleased with the service and quality of food, so instead of going to one closer to home, we stopped by the Kapolei Teddys since it was on the way. I ordered my meal and asked my girl what she wanted. She wasn't hungry so she just wanted a drink. She looked up at the menu and said , "just get me a small drink, it's only a $1.59". So I ordered. The cashier was friendly and offered to cut our burger in half for us. As she rang me up, I noticed I was charged $2.59 for a small drink. As I looked up at the menu, I asked her, "did the price of a small drink change? Because on your menu it says it's $1.59..." Her response was "I guess so." No offer to refund the difference. No "I'm sorry". It was only a buck so I just laughed and said "you might want to fix that". I'm cool with not getting a dollar back but I'm sure someone else might not be. And being in sales myself, it just makes me cringe when I see something unethical like this and nothing being done to correct the situation. I just hope someone from management goes over their electronic menu and ensures that their advertised priced reflect what is on their registers.

Change the bun Teddy then I will keep coming back. I love all their specialty burger and the Unami fries are awesome but the bun is so soft my food always falls apart!!!

I'm thrilled Teddy's Bigger Burgers has expanded their locations to various parts of the island, it's an opportunity for my inner Fat Kid "Big Bertha" to satisfy her burger cravings. When it comes to food, if there's something I'm absolutely crazy about, I have a tendency to order the same thing because I know exactly what to expect. When it comes to my Teddy's Bigger Burgers order, I stick with the #2 Hawaiian Specialty Burger which consists of a 7 oz Teriyaki burger topped with a juicy pineapple slice. I religiously upgrade my french fries to their beer-battered onlon rings which costs a little more but it's definitely worth the price. Maybe one day, I'll try one of their other specialty burgers or even venture into the chicken sandwiches; in all honesty, someone else would have to order another menu item and be so kind to let me sample. PS- I found out recently that Teddy's Bigger Burger no longer offers 10% military discounts except on Mondays.

Cleanliness: 5 stars!! The tables are always so clean and even the floors. No sticky mess or grease anywhere! Food: this is why I come here! 5 stars! It's like Jacks - they don't make it til you order it! Food always comes out HOT! Service: Always getting them wet wipes and condiments! Keep them coming :D the staff even helped open the door for me when I was carrying out to my car! Absolutely love Teddy's!! I'll be back real soon!!

Burger was good but there wasn't one employee in there that looked like they wanted to be there. This is most likely a management issue. Good luck!

Love eating Teddy's! Volcano Burger and Butter Garlic Fries.. Just WoW! There's some other burger joints near here, but the quality and a variety of choices on the menu is unmatched. Another perks is earning Skymiles. Link your debit and earn Delta miles when dining at Teddy's. The Customer service, food, and diner was excellent. Mahalos Teddy's at Kapolei.

On island visiting or here for the first time? This is a burger joint you need to check out and try! Awesome burgers, love the garlic fries, and you can't beat the friendly customer service. Burgers cooked the way you want it, a variety of condiments, and shakes made oh so good! Love that they have new stores opening around the island. As good as this place is here in Kapolei I heard I need to check out the one downtown. They've been open for a while so it still has that "original" taste on the grill. Definitely not a burger for the light of heart.

  • Josh N.

I am charging up San Juan Hill for this burger, WOW!!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned burger, this place makes you forget they are a chain. Ordered the "Original". I got it without cheese as that is a add on. You do not need cheese as their special sauce is delicious and coats kind of like cheese. It has a cool 50's vibe and I will be back as soon as I can.

Oh my goodness. Exactly what I was craving. I always know that Teddy's will have a naughty, hot, dirty burger for me. This is the first time that I've eaten at the Kapolei establishment and they did not disappoint. Tater tots were hot and crispy. My Bacado burger was perfect with a beautiful fresh half of avocado on it. I asked for grilled onions instead of fresh and it really made the burger. Just met James the operating partner. Great people here! Thank so much! Awesome!

  • Lydia B.

The service has improved greatly but there is always a wait of some kind because the burgers are so delicious! I LOVE this Teddy's! The service is sooo friendly & polite. The food always tastes fresh & juicy. Definitely one of our local hangouts!

  • Bill R.

Good burger joint. Fast friendly service. The smallest 5 oz burger combo will set you back $12. They nickel and dime ever little thing on the bill. For instance additional charge for teriyaki. Additional charge for choosing anything other than "regular" fries is an additional $1. The burger and sweet potato fries were good. But the constant up charging gets old.

In the last 30 days we ate here 3 times. First visit we were sure we couldn't live without it. We ordered bigger burgers with sauce, umami fries, onion rings and a shake. The next two visits were poor. The fries were room temperature, burger buns seemed stale, and then the order took way to long almost 30 minutes. The employees were yawning at the counter and facing us but they were friendly. A female worker was restocking the soda machine area and didn't have a sense that the customers needed to access the area and so customers moved around her which is so rude. And it's not like there's a second soda machine in the restaurant. I do think there could be better sanitation practices. It's kind of grimey in there. We do like the wet nap touch it's great. After this visit, I don't think we're coming back. Not enough consistency of quality or service.

As a lover of cheeseburgers and french fries (Trust me. I've had 4 this week.), Teddy's Bigger Burger's newest location in Kapolei Village Center (near Foodland and a mere 5 minutes from my house) was a welcome addition to the growing "Second City". With an endless menu of creative Specialty Burgers, extra thick milkshakes in an assortment of flavors, and the best kept Secret Sauce, Teddy's is a great place to indulge in America's favorite food! Like most recent developments in Kapolei, parking can be a nightmare! The Village Center certainly did not expect this much traffic when planning their parking lot, resulting in an often over-crowded and headache-inducing parking experience. Rather than vie for an in-demand stall close to Teddy's, I recommend parking on the outskirts of the lot and taking a short walk. You are sure to beat many other drivers to the counter with this strategy! And, trust me, with a substantial wait for your made-to-order burger, you will want to be the first in line! The menu, which can be customized to your liking, means that every burger is a unique creation which requires time and care to make. With the ability to determine how you want your burger cooked, how you want it assembled, and what flavor of fries you want to have accompany it, a few minutes of waiting is worth it - especially if you're as picky (I mean, selective) as I am! While I have tried several of their Specialty Burgers (and recommend the Volcano Burger for any heat lovers), my go-to order is the #1 Big Combo which comes with a 5 oz. Burger, Fries, and a Drink. I always opt to add cheese and upgrade my drink to an Extra Thick Milkshake which rounds my order out to about $15. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes...? I have never been disappointed by my Teddy's Burger, but at $15, it is certainly a treat I try not to indulge in too often.

I have been here several times and every occasion has been amazing! I love the quality AND quantity of food. I love the prices and I love the friendly customer service. This place exemplifies what a great fast food place should be!

This place is awesome! The burgers are cooked perfectly... Juicy and full of flavor. My favorite is the Hawaiian Style burger. The garlic (butter) fries are a must-get too! They have other locations like pearl ridge and Waikiki (at the end of the strip near the zoo). Definitely worth going if you like burgers!

Yaaay we have a Teddy's in Kapolei! This one is located in the same complex as Foodland and Daiichi Ramen. When we walked in I was surprised to see how big this one is. You have the option of sitting indoors or outdoors. There was a line when we walked through the door but the wait didn't seem that long. The service was OUTSTANDING! We ordered shakes and wasn't sure which was which when they called my number so the girl behind the counter attempted to smell my shake to find out what the flavor was and someone who seems to be the trainer had corrected her by telling her " you don't do that!" Lol I thought it was funny! Corp. trainer asked if I wanted a new one made but I was ok because it's not like she stuck her nose in my shake! Lol my fiancé realized his shake wasn't what he ordered so they made a new one. Overall, we were satisfied with our burgers and butter garlic fries and shakes! Service is awesome with a few hiccups! It's okay though.... We'll definitely be back!

This review is on Customer Service not on the food. I went to Teddy's Kapolei yesterday 7/14/2015. I was helped by a person and Im sorry I am not sure if male or female.. very short hair and more manly in nature. This person was very friendly and polite used Please and Thank you appropriately and even offered me a cup for water while I waited for my take out. I left to pick up something from Foodland (a few doors down) and returned and another employee same description but heavier set was now taking orders. I stood on the side waiting for my order. This person even more amazing then the first. I wish I could have captured it on film so you could understand what I seen.

I'm giving a 4-star for now, but we'll see if it'll improve when I go back again. My first reaction to this location and restaurant - wow, all the way in the back! You really need to drive around the parking lot to find this restaurant in the corner. When I walked in, the ambiance was great and clean. Love the paint in the side wall next of Kapolei! Keep in mind, you won't get a cheap deal like dollar menus, but you'll get close to your dollars worth. Since no one was behind me, I had time to talk to the cashier and she helped explained to me about the different burgers, their own burger sauce and toppings on each burger. I asked her what she preferred and was told their 'beer batter onion rings' were a great selection with the burgers. So I ordered it as a part of my combo. I got a 7oz Bacando Cheeseburger with the works. Lettuce was big and green, tomatoes fresh and firm, avocado green and ripe, cheddar gave a good taste to the burger...but the saddest topping of them all was BACON! That's a no no! Sure, the bacon there is circular and covers the whole patty, but it was so THIN and SOGGY, I couldn't even taste it. The burger sauce was too runny, but luckily they give you hand wipes for that mess. The biggest highlight of my experience was their 'chocolate shake'! It was very rich and thick, I enjoyed every sip and gulp of it! This item will be my lure in returning to this restaurant. On a plus side, if you got an iD isle's card...15% on Mon-Thurs! Can't go wrong there!

I had the privilege to accompany my wife and child to Hawaii for a lovely vacation and of course we had to try the local burger chain. Burgers are so simple yet so difficult to get right, so I'm always curious about local chains that are highly reviewed. Teddy's is a solid burger joint. I really enjoyed my chocolate malt and my fries. A lot. As for the burger, I got a little crazy and went for a specialty cajun burger and it turns out I'm not a fan. I think I got a little too excited about the description, because I was a bit underwhelmed by the burger when I got it. It was just a bit to normal for 'Cajun'... I didn't feel like it was really any different than a normal burger but with a cajun sauce on it. There weren't any exotic toppings or anything. So, I think I'd have been happier if I had just gotten a standard burger.

There's finally a Teddy's in Kapolei, and my boyfriend is in love. Therefore we've been coming here once a week ever since we found out about it. The weekend early lunch crowd is pretty calm so we continue to come at this time. I don't know what it's like on weekdays or during dinner. Last time we came, we decided to order the buttery garlic fries with our burgers. So I asked how big the small portion was and how big the large portion was. The cashier showed us these 2 tiny bags for both. We were pretty confused so we just ordered the large portion of fries. Big mistake. Couldn't even finish half of them! I don't get why they showed us these puny fry bags when the fries didn't even come in a bag. Aside from the confusion (I think they just need to get used to working since it's a new location) the food was bomb. Today we are currently here eating lunch and the service was fantastic. They seem much more streamlined now. Nice clean atmosphere, friendly staff, iDcard discount, and bomb food. 4/5 for Teddy's in Kapolei :)

I've never had a bad experience here, prices are a bit steep but I'd gladly pay that for fresh high quality food, a clean eating environment, very pleasant, efficient and highly competent staff that I'd hire to run my own company. Teddys the company sets a high bar in consistency all across the board, in food, experience and service.

Location: They are located in the same shopping center as the new Foodland in Kapolei off Kapolei Parkway. The parking spaces are small but there is ample parking. Food: It's a burger/fries/milkshake joint. Expect that. They have regular burgers, specialty burgers, veggie burger, fish and chips, chicken burger, cheese fries, tater tots, butter garlic fries and etc. I tried the Western burger, tater tots and butter garlic fries. The Western burger was tasty. I love tater tots! Not much places sell tater tots so this is a "must" order. The butter garlic fries is unique to this place. It's different but good. Price: This is NOT a cheap burger joint. Expect to pay $5 or more on the burger alone. A combo meal (burger, fries and a drink) is around $9. They give discount to military and iDcard holders. I used a 15% off coupon that came in the mail. Look out for coupons in the mail. I paid $45 for 4 specialty burgers and a variety of fries and tots. (The coupon saved me $10). Seating Area: There is a decent amount of seating inside and a handful of table/chairs outside. Decor: The decor is a retro old school diner feel. Overall, it's a good option if your looking for a better burger then McDonalds or Jack in the Box. The wait time can be long since it's made to order so don't come if your looking for a quick meal.

I love love love teddys burger!!! I had an errand to complete at the dmv and then I ventured there. Thank god for yelp since this burger joint popped up in the vicinity of where I was in kapolei. I ordered my usual of 7oz Kilauea fire burger which came with bacon, fire sauce, cheese, onion rings, and I added on jalapeños. I ordered it medium rare and then I decided to be adventurous with my fries. Well after talking with the cashier she convinced me to have garlic butter fries with chili cheese on top. Yes it sounds like a mouthful. The food came out hot and fresh. I was ready to eat everything lol. There are times where I wish I had another stomach just so I can be a glutton. The burger did not disappoint at all. The cook executed it perfectly. The flavors were delectable and fries were just deliciously greasy and heart stopping wonderful! The only con would be the price. It could put a hole in your pocket eating from this joint lol I love teddys burger!!!!

Best Teddy's so far! The appearance and dining area is five star! New, clean and high tech! Love the lay out, love the big screens for menus. Love being greeted as I walk in. Friendliest staff I've seen in a Teddy's. I'm glad I came here today for lunch and I plan to be back. I'll also be looking forward to one of those shakes!

Here's how I define my rating system: 5 Star - I will cut myself if this place closes 4 Star - Really good, you should go 3 Star - Good but forgettable 2 Star - Only in good company 1 Star - Never again Let's just get straight to it: these are gourmet burgers and they are fast. I had a big medium rare Pani'olo (which contained pineapple, bacon, onion rings, and teri sauce) and a bigger medium rare Hawaiian with everything in one sitting. They were both utterly farging delicious and juicy. What's more, I did not feel bloated. I did not have the sensation of an impending coronary. I did not feel like a greasy, fat pig or that I might need to be dis-impacted in the morning. I felt no shame. I felt almost refreshed. Red Robin should take a moment to meaningfully think about what he is doing in life and also address his hoarding disorder. Talk about eating fresh. God forbid Jared find out about this place. He'd have type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and class IV obesity in a fortnight. The fries were great, too. But why eat those when you can eat more of their burgers? Whoever Teddy is, he is a living treasure. Congress, the ---, should bestow upon him the Congressional Gold Medal. But since Congress could not agree on the color of its own excrement, this is unlikely to happen. Though considering the lifestyles of its members, this may be understandable. One minor gripe is that you need to enter a code on a keypad to use their restroom. The problem is that if my fingers are all covered in your juices, I think the last thing you want me doing is wiping that all over your pad.

I've been to Teddy's in Aiea, and though their food has always been satisfying, even for the price, it's usually busy and the wait is pretty long. So I heard that this particular location just opened and decided to check it out. First, it's located in the same vicinity where Foodland in Kapolei is (pretty much away from every thing else in Kapolei). For my first time being here, I was not impressed with the parking lot, since it feels so cramped. But then again, you do have Foodland and other food joints here, so I understand why it's busy. Now to the actual joint itself. Their food is pretty much prepared and tastes the same as the one in Aiea, which is not bad at all. However, because it just opened, the inside feels very much alive and vibrant. The staff are just as friendly, and though not as busy as the Aiea location, the wait still felt about the same time. Maybe it's because again, this location just opened, so I'll let it go. So far Teddy's, you haven't disappointed me. Your prices may be a bit more expensive compared to other burger joints, but hey, you get what you paid for. And for some of their burgers, you get more than what you paid for. Keep it up Teddy's!

Food is delicious..... staff always very friendly and upbeat. Only thing is on the weekend not much dine in room, or parking ....., orher than that i love that they bring your food out for you, and always doing rounds to check if your ok and if you need Wet wipes.... awesome service.... :)

Walked in on a huge line which is understandable considering it was lunchtime. What drove me to leave this negative review was the fact that there was a manager on duty mopping the floor which wasnt very dirty to begin with when he could of easily hopped on a register to take orders.

Teddy's burgers is a pretty good casual dining experience. The food is good and portions are plentiful. My wife and I both had the Hawaiian Burger and it tasted very good with plenty of juices to get on your hands. The milkshakes are made from scratch and will make your order take a bit longer but they're worth it. Friendly staff! I'd definitely return if I come back to Oahu!

We love coming to this place! The service is ALWAYS the best!! The staff is always fun to talk with. You can tell the staff enjoy their job!! Atmosphere that the staff sets is just the way a burger joint should be! Today was the best I've seen it ever!!!!! The burgers were made to perfection! Eating area is always cleaned! Cost of food is spot on!!

THIS LOCATION JUST OPENED AND IM SO HAPPY!!!!!! Their service was so exciting!!!! When me, my dad and grandma got in, we were greeted by everyone! They stopped what they were doing to sincerely say hello. I didn't care at first, but they were so sincerely caring! I was so impressed! They will definitely get people to change their thoughts of west side people! GREAT FOOD!!!!!!!!! THE SERVICE MADE THE FOOD TASTE EVEN BETTER!

Great service!!! When we went up to order, all the cashiers were happy, helpful, & gave us good recommendations on what our option were & what tastes good with & on our burger... We had a couple of Vegetarians in our group that really enjoyed their veggie burgers... The garlic butter fries were awesome! The spicy fries & onion rings were also good...I had a little of each as we shared family style... :-) They delivered the food to us on the outside patio & brought wet naps too, then checked on how our food was...and later came back to happily remove our trash...wow! They know service here!!! Since we were all done eating at the same time, we had to throw away some trash on our own...OR so we thought...LOL. As soon as we stood up to head toward the trash, they asked if they could take it for us! Wow! Great! We were all impressed! This party of 8 was really happy with the food, service, & cleanliness especially considering that this is not a restaurant with a server...

Good crabby-patty and pleasant staff! The manager is a very nice guy who personifies customer service. Give that man a raise! I always have my burger lettuce wrapped, revealing the true taste and flavors which never disappoint at Teddy's. The patty is a tad greasier than I like it to be but still delicious and a beautiful mess. This location is great because it's not as crazy as others. For now ... Take your order to go and drive to Tracks to enjoy it while watching the sunset over the surf if, like me, you like dinner when a view.

I've been eyeing out this place waiting for it to open and was so happy when it did! I don't live in Kapolei, but my boyfriend lives nearby. Teddy's is a way better option than the burgers at fast food places. I just wish they were open late for those late night munchies! Other than that, I love Teddy's burgers. We came in on a Sunday night and it was BUSY. The line was moving and the wait was about 15-20 minutes for our two burgers and fries. It was nice seeing the workers there bring food to people's tables and have a good attitude about it. When we got our food, it was 30 minutes 'till closing and people were still coming in!

Been here three times now in the last week :/ Have not paid full price yet :D!! Coupons are available in the mail to Kapolei residents and also participating in those little fundraiser cards with local restaurants, attractions etc.

The burgers were not Teddy's best. It was cold toasted bread, luke warm burger, cold fries and get this, it wasn't even crowded. Everything must have been pre-made. Not hot off the grill. The one star is for the friendly service.

Gotta say...I love Teddy's....and I'm never disappointed when I step foot in one. Other than the blast of cold air in there..(It feels like 40 below)...I'm in burger heaven. This particular Teddy's is brand spankin new so as all new restaurants do.....they need some breaking in. We were saddened to hear that their feature milkshake was all gone...=(. What?! It's 6pm on a Saturday?! It's your busiest time of the week?? Whatevs! Hey where's the huge list of combo burgers? All the other restaurants have a huge list of different burgers...this particular one had a handful. I normally get the "aiea burger" but I couldn't remember the combo so I tried to order it as I did recall and it just didn't do it for me. Can't you guys make a nice long list that's posted at every location? The greatest thing about this chain is the fact that you can make your burger any damn way you want. The more stuff you add, the more expensive it gets. You very well may end of up a $15 burger at the end of the ordering process. It will taste divine...but it'll cost ya! Lucky for me, I clipped out the coupons from the paper and mailers for 10-20% off grand opening specials that are good through May. Their burgers and shakes are legend...so definitely get that. One suggestion..don't order the garlic fries. It's just not worth it. It's a heck of a lot of garlic...but not salty enough nor crispy enough. It really was just...mehhh. One tip. Try to go during off peak hours or just take it to go. During peak hours, there's no where to sit except for the tables outside...being that it's adjacent to the street makes for an unappetizing meal. Grab a redbox dvd and eat your burger at home.

The general manager, James, was the friendliest and most helpful guy ever. If you had any question about the menu or the store in general, he knew about it. We also went in quite late and he was welcoming even near closing time (9pm). The burger and fries themselves were amazing - the fresh rolls that the beef goes on are so tasty. All the toppings are delicious, you can basically get anything and have a great burger. It's a local store, on the corner of the shopping center near "Foodland" but just look for the red "Teddys" sign. The facility is new and very clean, with very friendly staff. You can get basically anything on your fries! Garlic sauce, chili cheese, etc. Thanks James!

This was our first time here at Teddy's Burger and service was nice.. Good thing we came in early as 11am.. We ordered Cajun and Bacado Burger the Service was fast until we ordered another tater tots cuz daughter loves them.. But we waited so long that our tater tots mixed up with other orders, so end up us having a complimentary order which is a nice gesture of them.. Good quality much better if you want a different kind of burger.. Gonna try their shakes next time..

I like that we have a Teddy's in kapolei now. Their burgers are really good, and they make great leftovers. The space is a bit little but there is outside seating which is nice and breezy. Teddy's is always a treat when we to get it. They're a bit more pricy than your usual quick burger but these burgers are also not just quick burgers but gourmet and cooked to your liking.

Burgers are big, fries are fresh, and shakes are yummy (even better when you go home and freeze it for the next day!). They have a wide selection of burgers and, of course, you can customize your order. They also have great customer service - friendly and attentive. It's just too bad they don't have more seating indoors.

My first try I ordered an Original Burger with Pprjack Cheese and "beer battered" onion rings. The first bite of the patty was flavorful enough but that didn't seem to last all the way through. The menu says that all beef pattys are cooked to medium-well unless you request otherwise. Mine was undercooked in the middle and I think the flavor and texture suffered as a result. I'll assume that the cooking was incomplete due to not having accurate temperature controls during the meat prep and cooking process. The onion rings were a bit stringy and i'll assume it's because they are packaged frozen product and not fresh made at the store (with real beer). The service was friendly and attentive by both the cashier and dining room staff; great job - thank you! Minus 1/2 star each for food prep and freshness.

Love the #1 Combo, 5 oz Big Burger. That was big enough for me. Burgers are done Medium Well and are juicy and delicious. Fries are perfect and not too salty. My son had the onion rings. I was never a fan of onion rings until I tried these. Customer service was 100%. The young lady at the counter greeted us and I had questions. She answered them but I should've read all the signage because there were pictures of the sizes of burgers! She repeated the order which was great. We chose to eat outside though there was a lot of room inside (5:00 pm on a Friday nite is a good time). By the time we left, the crowd was there! Anyway, we waited for our food and the same young lady brought us those moist towelettes to use after eating (very good to have)! And then, a young man brought our order! And while scarfing down our burgers and 20 minutes later, he came back to see how we were doing! Great service! We ate too much and didn't have a shake (which was the plan). More reason to go back. Will definitely go again. Oh, and we got a 10% discount using our idCard!

I'm a burger, french fries and milkshake lover! So I was really looking forward to eating here. I ordered some sort of bacon burger with fries and a chocolate milkshake. The milkshake was absolutely AMAZING! Thick and creamy just how I like it. The burger on the other hand had absolutely no flavor what so ever, so I pretty much covered it in ketchup to add another dimension of flavor, to my dismay, it was a failure. :( I then found a hair in my fries and politely took it to the girl taking orders. Upon which she poked through my fries and bluntly said it looked like my own hair and she wouldn't be getting me a new order! (seriously? You just put your fingers in my food) I was so frustrated at this point, I took the fries, threw it away and swore I'd never return! Quite frankly in my opinion it is over priced and not worth it! But 2 stars for the excellent milkshake.

Went there for a chocolate shake. They must of had to milk the cow because the wait in line was 10 minutes (two customers in front of me) and I had to wait 15 minutes for my shake. The shake itself was ok. Maybe next two they'll wipe the outside of the cup better. Not so thrilled with this place.mught give it another try but I don't know

I'm glad this burger joint is here!!! It's our family's must go place now. We've been here numerous times and haven't been disappointed yet. The tables are cleaned regularly. The food is good. There's other items on the menu if you don't like burgers. Outdoor seating if you don't want to be crowded in. Of course you have indoor seating if you don't want to get rained on or sit outside in the hot sun. They are willing to accommodate my needs if I want my burger wrapped in lettuce instead of having a bun. Happy place 8-D

Wife and I just ate here today. She got the Volcano burger and I got the Kapolei Burger. Basic difference between the two is that hers had fresh onions and mine had fried onion rings. Also, ordered a small garlic fried [butter kind]. We both enjoyed our meals. Did you catch that? BOTH of us? At the same sitting? My wife liked HERS. Come on, folks... if you follow any of my reviews, you will know she is not the easiest troop to feed. :-) This Kapolei store kicks the Pearl City store's `Okole. Service, taste and atmosphere [of course, new place] all terrific, but one problem... Teddy's Kapolei Burger, Kua Aina's Avocado Burger and Honolulu Burger Company's Mushroom Swiss Burger are really good, Not sure which one is THE best. That's a problem I like to have, so will have to eat some more and let you know later. Okay?

The food here is amazing, everytime and all the time. But my review is based on my experience last Friday night. We went in at about closing time, I'm sure it was 8:45 or so when we arrived as always the cashier up front was very very friendly. We ordered then sat down by the door to wait for our food. It's closing time, so they are cleaning and preparing to close the doors. There was a young guy closing up the seating areas, wiping down the tables. As he was cleaning, the cashier asked a girl in the back to show him how to close. It was all downhill from there. She came out and stood right in front of us and proceeded to talk down to this boy about how to take rugs outside and how to wipe tables. Like what he was doing was not up to her standards. Her tone, attitude, and the fact that she spoke this way to a fellow employee right in front of customers made me fuming mad and sick to my stomach. It's one way to correct somebody on what they are doing wrong but to put them in a place where it's like your scolding him and trying to embarrass him in front of paying customers is just plain wrong. Case in point, she talked down to this boy like he was complete and utter s***, and she was the queen bee. I also believed the boy was in high school, seriously, my hats off to this kid for sticking it out after being treated like shit by this girl(I did get her name though, it was Marissa). I was so pissed off after I left I barely ate my food when I got home. I believe that it's one thing to have great food, but it's also another thing to make sure that your brand is represented in the light which you want to be known. After this experience, they have indeed lost my business. This location is close to where I live, and convenient among other things. After seeing how she spoke to another employee, I can only imagine how she would be towards a paying customer with a complicated order. I was not going to post on here but after speaking with many of friends and co-workers also in the customer service/food industry, they told me to yelp it. Looks like I'll just have to go to Kua'aina from now on, where the fries suck and the burgers are mediocre.

What ever management is doing to create such a good team of workers...keep it up! Its so rare to get good customer service at a casual restaurant now days. We came on a Saturday around lunch hour. I expected it to be madness. But everything turned out smooth. The cashier was patient and friendly and few of the staff members came to the outside seating to check if we were okay and gave us moist wipes (There's no way to eat their burgers without getting your hands messy thats why!) So that's nice of them to provide it. Food was also yummy. 5 stars!

  • Mandy C.

Pros: Good food, sweet potato fries are yummy, and there's actually a sink with soap for customers to wash their hands Cons: Long wait, prices are not listed on menu, prices are a little high for the value Bottom line: I would return, but not immediately.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. It was slow but took 30 mins to receive my order "1 original meal", 2 customer's after me got their order before me. Workers was more interested in each other's conversation rather than getting the food out quickly and in the right order. Sad to say not impressed with the hype. 1 star because yelp won't let me post without a star.

  • Crystelle K.

I've been wondering what the hype was about teddy's, especially since one opened up near my house. My husband decided we should check it out and we weren't disappointed. I tried their western burger and my husband got the kilauea burger with cheese fries. We both finished our burgers so quickly because it was so good. I'll definitely go back and try their chocolate peanut butter shake.

This was my first time ever eating at teddys. And not to mention I went in alone. So it was a bit overwhelming at first, as can be expected when walking into a new place. Starting at the front door; the location of the store was nice because it was situated at the end of the unit which meant it also had an outside dining area to enjoy the beautiful weather. As soon as I stepped in the door I noticed how clean and modern the decor was. I was greeted promptly by a cashier. The cashier that took my order was very helpful and picked up on my lack of understanding of the menu. He suggested a few things and I went for it. With that said, the food was great. I ordered a Teri burger combo. The fries were great and I enjoyed picking them out from my novelty paper bag. One suggestion would be to eat the burger right away as there is quite a bit of sauce in it. It was delicious though!

Best burgers and food in general in Kapolei. Wide variety of food to choose from, great friendly service, generous portions. Nice eating outside in the evening watching the Christmas parade. Only regret is I wish we would've found this place earlier on our trip.

Simple...the customer service is spot on and the food is loaded with flavor. It's a lot of food as probably not the healthiest (well what I got anyways) but if you are looking to treat yourself this is the place to go for a good big burger!

  • Kaipo S.

I like all Teddy's in general, but this one is by far the best. The management has been excellent at getting the food out timely and right, and their customer service is being maintained at a very high level. My burger is always cooked right, the fries and onion rings are always hot and crispy. One of the best places to eat in Kapolei in my opinion. Only gripe I have is the parking lot. Small spaces, and much of the spaces are taken by construction equipment working on another addition to the shopping center.

  • Taz M.

Went in. Tried asking how much things were. They just kept asking how I want my burger. Other people walked in and then out and they forgot about my order. How the heck do you forget an order when you call out numbers. Did you forget how to count?? 11, 12,14,15 etc. For the amount that I sent for one burger, I should have gotten better service. And where are the prices for add ons?!!

I really enjoyed Teddy's bigger burgers they are very juicy, and full of favors. I love the fact that tator tots are an option other than fries, sometimes it's nice to be able to change up the flavor when eating a great hamburger. I'd Would more than likely come back to Teddy's rather than McDonalds.

  • Kay M.

I looooove Teddy's! I would drive out of my way to Kailua (before the Aiea store opened) just to get my hands on this delicious burger!! I am so glad they finally opened in Kapolei!! So far, I've been to the Kapolei location a few times and the customer service was pleasant each time. I didn't think the Ewa location had as personable employees as the other locations, so I was happy to see that the Kapolei employees were so friendly and upbeat on my visits. It does take awhile to get your order so plan to wait about 15 minutes. Love the outdoor seating. I like how there are many different choices, but it makes it hard because they're all so good! One time they messed up my order, but I just ate it anyways... still good!! I like to order a "spud" on my burger, it's a great and unique concept!

We LOVE Teddy's! Burgers are all good. My husband and son have probably tried them all, never disappointed. Our absolute FAV is the Onion Rings and Peanut Butter Shake! Thank goodness they opened a store in Kapolei. Now, we are able to stop by whenever we have the craving. Jon-Jon, the store manager at this store, has awesome customer service. Kudos to him!

Great location in Kapolei. The lobby is well designed and spacious. Service is quick despite the rush. Outdoor seating is clean but the view is lackluster. The only downside is the terrible parking at this complex. Can't get good parking in Hawaii, even in the Kapolei desert.

Just had lunch and walked into a line but service was fast. We devoured our entire meal. Like that you can choose what size patty you want your burger and how you want it cooked. Really wanted to try a shake. Next time. We will be back.

  • D. K.

I know they have a bunch of locations, but we had a great lunch at Teddy's! When our group of 6 walked in, we felt like rock stars. 3 different people from behind the counter came out to welcome us, explain the menu in extreme detail, and give us suggestions. They had tons of employees working that day for just a few customers. But I thought the burgers were tasty, you can't go wrong with cheese fries, and it was just an overall good lunch spot.

    (4)
  • Grendo G.

My first visit to this location was not so good. The male cashier was bubbly and helpful. We ordered about $60 worth of food and it was mildly warm temperature. The burger buns seemed smashed also. The fish and Chips were burnt crisp. The employees were on a break and using the customers tables and all on cell phones maybe face booking? Who knows.

  • Hilary H.

So Teddy's is like my favorite burger joint, food is great! But, my first time being to this location as it's COMPLETELY new, I was a scared when I left. First, while we were ordering, a roach crawled across the cashiers area... For a roach to do that wide open in the daylight, I question how many are there in the restaurant and possibly the food people are eating. Second, they were moping the floors and the sour mildewy stench from the mops overpowered everything. I couldn't stand being there anymore, I was going to throw up. Disappointed because this is near our house :(

  • Lofa L.

Now I'm a fan of Teddy's other locations, so when one in Kapolei was opening I was like cool I'll try. I really really like their onion rings. But after I ordered and ate I contemplated if I would return on the regular or go to my other favorite burger spot in Kapolei (hint: near Target). Well I ordered and ate and decided. First when I ordered I couldnt see crap off the electronic/tv menu because the sun glare washed out the image. Why couldn't you have painted ones like the others or a smaller printed version here? FAIL on the designer of the location! I ordered a burger with cheese and the regular fixings Teddy's offered with onion rings, my homie ordered fish sandwich with tater tots. The food was good, the tots and rings were dope, but I ordered my burger medium rare and I got a burger still cold in the middle. Luckily I dont mind my meat still mooing so I ate it but that was a downer. Everything else was good. Loved the orange soda and barqs rootbeer options. I forgot to order extra pickles but I didn't have time I had to run. Back to if I would go here or my other spot I thought about it. Teddy's was a tad cheaper (but not that much only because I order buttloads of sides and custom burger upgrades) and had me at the rings and tater tots (I'm not sure if the have cheese tater tots like the other locations like Aiea and Waikiki but I didn't see it on the menu....I could eat just that no burger anytime). But if you get to the burger itself, i'd rather eat the other spot's burger. The meat and how they cook it is just better. They dont even have a special sauce. Now I'm not saying I wont eat Teddys because I will, but of burger comparisons Teddys makes a good number two. At least I know I wont have to suffer with burgers from the other drive through corporations. I know Teddys just opened but there's always room for improvement and cant wait to see them come through. Next time I'll try a shake with my tots n rings.

Excellent customer service. I phone ordered and the gentleman taking the order was very professional and friendly. He explained my order, options, possible add-ons, and did all the brainwork for me. Small kine slow on the phone, but it's because he was being precise with my order. I came in and added to my order and the people cheerfully took my request. They did not rush me and were friendly and helpful. Music volume is good, AC is good and not freezing or hot, kitchen and front area was FREAKING CLEAN! No review on the food, but my food-geek friend said he only eats burgers from here.

Because they were the newest burger joint in Kapolei, I just had to give it a try. My co-worker persuaded me to eat elsewhere since the place was fairly new and that it may take a while for us to get our food so we came here for dessert. I ordered two milk shakes to go. I got their 20 minutes before I had to return from my lunch break and it literally took 20 minutes for our milkshakes to be made. I probably wouldn't have been so upset if I wasn't on lunch but because there was no line ahead of me I thought for sure it wouldn't take no more than 10 minutes. I still love Teddy's just might need to go to another location for better service.

Visiting any new restaurant in Kapolei on Friday evening is an experience requiring "Zen" like patience. Teddy's was no exception and its local reputation kept the lines long. Of course, the pleasant odor of grilled ground chuck provided a nice, appetizing scent. There were three registers taking orders but the new kitchen staff were obviously learning how to work in tandem. During my 28 minute wait for my Texas burger and onion rings, I observed three customers ask about the delay on their orders and two men ask for corrections (avocado was missing or the "medium" was still too rare for them). But overall, the customers didn't seem to mind, and the wait staff who were yelling out order numbers were responding pleasantly to the food order extended waits. My Texas burger was cooked to order and very tasty. It was large so it will stay with you for awhile. I'll probably return on a slower shift after their first month "break-in" period is completed. Parking can be congested but the walk will help with the digestion!

  • Karen C.

They have a good selection on their menu. I always get the Kailua BBQ prom sandwich. Since, they cook the burgers when ordered there is a wait for your food. But I'm ok with that knowing that the burger is fresh off the grill. I notice that the workers play around with each other and stand by the swinging door. Maybe they are having fun and enjoying work but in the customers view it doesn't look good for business. Anyways, it's good to come here for a real burger instead of the 'fake' stuff at McDonald's.

Burger was good but there wasn't one employee in there that looked like they wanted to be there. This is most likely a management issue. Good luck!

Awesome!

The service has improved greatly but there is always a wait of some kind because the burgers are so delicious! I LOVE this Teddy's! The service is sooo friendly & polite. The food always tastes fresh & juicy. Definitely one of our local hangouts!

The burgers were not Teddy's best. It was cold toasted bread, luke warm burger, cold fries and get this, it wasn't even crowded. Everything must have been pre-made. Not hot off the grill. The one star is for the friendly service.

Haven't had a Teddy's burger in a long time! Since it's down the road from my Auntys. Quick stop in! Before race day I'll take a chance with some unsweetened ice tea!

One the the best burgers we've ever had on Oahu. Lots of choices on the menu. Food tasted great and quality excellent. Very good portions. If you're near one you should definitely try it.

Okay?

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. It was slow but took 30 mins to receive my order "1 original meal", 2 customer's after me got their order before me. Workers was more interested in each other's conversation rather than getting the food out quickly and in the right order. Sad to say not impressed with the hype. 1 star because yelp won't let me post without a star.

Who knows.

Atmosphere that the staff sets is just the way a burger joint should be! Today was the best I've seen it ever!!!!! The burgers were made to perfection! Eating area is always cleaned! Cost of food is spot on!!

The burgers were not Teddy's best. It was cold toasted bread, luke warm burger, cold fries and get this, it wasn't even crowded. Everything must have been pre-made. Not hot off the grill. The one star is for the friendly service.

They have a good selection on their menu. I always get the Kailua BBQ prom sandwich. Since, they cook the burgers when ordered there is a wait for your food. But I'm ok with that knowing that the burger is fresh off the grill. I notice that the workers play around with each other and stand by the swinging door. Maybe they are having fun and enjoying work but in the customers view it doesn't look good for business. Anyways, it's good to come here for a real burger instead of the 'fake' stuff at McDonald's.

Keep them coming :D the staff even helped open the door for me when I was carrying out to my car! Absolutely love Teddy's!! I'll be back real soon!!

Awesome!

Great burgers!! They were fresh and delicious. It is a little more in price but well worth it!! The garlic fries are also delicious and the onion rings were crunchy and delicious !!

Burgers are good overall that the burgers are made to YOUR choosing and the fries are good. They're nice people and the atmosphere is good

5 stars!

Pros: Good food, sweet potato fries are yummy, and there's actually a sink with soap for customers to wash their hands Cons: Long wait, prices are not listed on menu, prices are a little high for the value Bottom line: I would return, but not immediately.

By far the best fries in the state, especially if you like them extra crispy! Just ask for the 6 minute fries, so good it "broke da mouth" good!

Not happy with this place anymore. I'm sitting here for 20 mins to get my food to go. Love the food but get more cooks. I only see one person on the grill and three cashiers.

Great burger, portions are HUGE! I ordered the Aiea Burger and it was fantastic! Great food for after the beach. Only complaint, the fries are a tad salty. Get there early for a seat, lunch time crowd is packed.

Simple...the customer service is spot on and the food is loaded with flavor. It's a lot of food as probably not the healthiest (well what I got anyways) but if you are looking to treat yourself this is the place to go for a good big burger!

Who knows.
