Loved the pizza here! If you're looking for a good pie on the North Coast of Kauai and you're in Hanalei town, I recommend Tiki Man pizza. Love the Kailua Pork they use in place of traditional ham / Canadian bacon.

People feel very strongly about pizza, and reviews are usually love it or hate it. Someone left a post-it note at the house we rented saying "BEST PIZZA! REALLY, GET THIS." We trusted them and were not disappointed. The crust was thin (I prefer that), sauce is good and not applied too heavily, cheese was yummy and tasted like parmesan was mixed in. At first I was taken aback to pay $44 for 2 pizzas, but then I did the math on eating out or grocery shopping to feed 9 people and it turned out to be a bargain. I was sad we never went back during our visit. You can even order here and eat it at Tahiti Nui! Service was a bit indifferent but it's not like they're waiting your table or asking for a tip.

Quick service, friendly staff and great pizza. It was no nonsense ordering and quality food. I got a pineapple &hawaiian pork pie. It has been one of my eating high points on this island.

Aloha! I am the owner of Hanalei Pizza (Formerly Pizza Hanalei). When you type in "Hanalei Pizza" in Google, TikiMan Pizza pops up. TikiMan Pizza has a great chef for both regular dining and Pizza. We (Hanalei Pizza) have a very different style of Pizza. (Both places are good) So if you are reviewing Pizza in Hanalei, please make sure you are reviewing the right place. It's a small town and everyone knows everyone else. We all work hard to get along. Hanalei Pizza is in CHING YOUNG VILLAGE and Tiki Man Pizza is behind our favorite watering hole in Hanalei "TAHITI NUI" (Best Mai Tai on the island). Enjoy both places, just make sure you know where you are. (Hard to do after the Mai Tai's). Aloha. Karlos deTreaux Hanalei Pizza

Store bought crust, cooked in a conveyor. The top was cooked, the bottom was undercooked. Added Tabasco to the pizza. Tabasco makes shit food taste good.

Can't say I was expecting much, but boy was I wrong. Delicious Hawaiian style pizza. Most pineapple and ham pizzas overdo it on the sauce. Not this place. Covered in cheese, a small pizza was enough for two people for two meals. Highly recommended. Plus, you can have the world's best Mai Tai at Tahiti Nui while you wait!

Decent pizza - very good service and friendly staff.

Went here with the family after a long day at the beach. None of us were expecting much, but were all hapily surprised. We all eat a lot of pizza and we don't mind spending some extra bucks for good food. This was some of the best pizza I've had.

The crust is great. Also the traditionally cooked kalua pork pizza was a great local flavor choice!

Not only was the pizza bad, but extremely over priced, even for Hawaii. On a rainy day in Kauai I decided to try the local pizza. After reading review I thought that I would try out Tiki Man Pizza. It was a huge mistake. I called in the order from our hotel, and when I walked in it smelled like old fish. The $22 for a medium/small pizza was a shock, but i has hopes for the flavor. The pizza was burnt, and the crust tasted like it was frozen. It may have been the worst pizza I have ever had from a restaurant. Everyone in our group tried it and had the same sour expression. I recommend avoiding this restaurant!

I was excited to try the prosciutto and mozzarella pizza, and it was... okay. Not amazing, not terrible, but okay. Cheers for being one of the only pizza offerings on the island, though!

My daughter enjoyed dancing in the front with Aunty who was playing Hawaiian songs on her ukulele all night. This was the best part of the evening. Sadly, our pizzas took forever to arrive and then arrived burned on the edges all around. The seating wasn't very comfortable either. I hate to give bad reviews, but I feel like they could have done better.

Had the Da Hui pizza...yummy! We sat on the porch of the Tahiti Nui and listened to great music, enjoyed the atmosphere and our delish pizza.

eh. this place is supposed to be the better of 2 pizza joints in Princeville/Hanalei. Like most shop owners around there, Mr Tiki Man Pizza guy sure is sweet & kind. The pizza was ok but not even good enough that I wanted it for leftovers the next day. When visiting, I say to generally stick with fish, skip the pizza. If you're craving pizza, drive over to Kilauea & check out the bakery.

Five stars for the atmosphere, great music and friendly service. The calamata salad was great. The pizza was crispy and cheesy but slightly salty despite having veggies on it. Nevertheless, I would definitely go back to have a few cold ones at the bar and listen to great tunes.

The pizza place is in back of the Tahiti Nui, but you can order and eat in either location. We recommend dining out on the lanai of Tahiti Nui, especially if they have live music going on that night We had the pesto specialty and it was awesome!

We ordered the Kuala pork pizza with jalapeño, highly recommended! Fantastic pizza, great Mai tais, good music fantastic atmosphere! Fun tiki bar!

I have never posted a 1 star before. But seriously, avoid this like a rabid dog. I think the box had more flavor and less grease. Perhaps the worst pizza I have ever had. I threw it out. Pizza in the trash can. How does that ever happen? It hurts my soul, but it is that bad.

The pizza has no taste. blan, does not taste like Pizza crust or pizza sauce, oily gross cheese on top. It was awful!

After hearing so many great reviews this was an ultimate let down. Our service was beyond slow. Our waiter was covered in sweat and we presumed it was from running around catering to people's requests. But apparently it was from running back to the chefs to correct all the orders he imput incorrectly. The pizza itself wasn't bad, but the toppings are nonexistent. If you have 3 hours, money to burn and no standards for service, than by all means this is your choice spot on the island.

All of the reviews are spot on. If you visit Kaua'i expect everything to happen on 'island time' and you will never be frustrated. Yes, everything costs more than the mainland, but transporting goods over thousands of miles of ocean is not cheap. Great pie and open atmosphere.

Had the #5 Da Hui pizza. It was super fresh and super good. Only downside was the speed of the service. Would definitely come back. Seemed a bit pricey (for a Californian) but probably on par with island prices.

We've gotten pizza here a dozen or so times over many many trips. The past few years the pizza has really tasted so so and this last time it was down right bad. The crust had to be frozen and was not good; the sauce was bad; and when I am spending nearly $30 on a pizza I expect some toppings. We had #5 the Da Hui, but there was only a few blobs of pork (some slices had none) and very little pineapple.

As far as I could tell, this place is really just the pizza menu for Tahiti Nui. We followed the signs for Tiki Man Pizza and entered the restaurant from the back, but ended up walking through to the front of Tahiti Nui and sitting on the porch. That's fine, just initially a little confusing. Order a cocktail because the pizzas take about 35 minutes. I highly recommend the coconut margarita. Also, they advertise "the best mai tai in town" and I wouldn't disagree. We had the Hawaiian Pizza for $23 and it was pretty good. Overall, a nice dining experience with a lovely view. Try to sit outside if you can.

Had takeout pizza here. Great crust. The sauce was meh.

We never got to try the pizza. This "pizza restaurant" is actually part of another restaurant and I guess pizza is just one of the many things that they supposedly serve when they get their shipment of pizza. We wouldn't know what else is good there, as we went there specifically for the pizza. My husband and I are both APEs (Adult Picky Eater)s and pizza is the one thing we can both eat. The host, who looked a bit like Moby, was super weird and emotional. Seemed like he might have been having some sort of a breakdown the day we tried to eat there, anyway, he made us wait 30 minutes meanwhile the table we eventually got was empty and ready the whole time we waited. He gave us some weird lengthy explanation as to why he couldn't seat us and kept checking on us at the bench we waited on, giving us weirder and weirder excuses. Eventually he sat us. We told the waitperson we already knew what we wanted. Cheese pizza. "We're out of pizza" she said. Are you effing kidding me? Moby could have told us that 30 minutes ago. We started to get up and Moby comes over to explain that yes, they are out of pizza but doesn't like to tell people because he "(feels) that the entrees don't get enough attention). Like I said, we have special diet issues and don't eat just any old thing, I glimpsed at the rest of the menu, saw nothing I would eat on there, and definitely nothing my husband would eat. So as soon as Moby's back was turned, we snuck out, hungry and pissed off. We snuck out because I was scared he'd see us leaving and try to convince us to stay because the entrees apparently have feelings and are neglected. Take your meds and change the name of your restaurant from Tiki Man Pizza to Tiki Man Entrees. Seems like a lot of locals go there to see local musicians play and to drink. If you like local celebrities from a town you're not from, getting drunk and going, "Whooo!" and a homey feel, and spotty service, and no pizza, go there. It's very cramped, the host is crazy, and they don't have pizza. But they won't tell you that until you've waited a long time. We found a Hawaiian grilled cheese place that also served plain Mainland grilled cheese, luckily. But the whole experience put us in a bad mood.

Looked forward to eating here but unfortunately never got the food. Waited an hour and a half and finally gave up After 45 minutes we were told the kitchen was backed up. Bartender was rude and manager just said " we have about 20 people waiting for food." Too bad. Many other good choices in this nice community. Wouldn't waste time at this one.

BEWARE of TAKE OUT. They charge you for the Takeout BOX, not a dollar but $6. I do not know how they justify it, oh they don't they just charge you that much. Also the girl who takes your money, then used the same hand to sprinkle the basil on a pizza, isn't that some kind of health code violation!

Best pizza ever! We got the Da Hawaiian and it was great! Real ham, fresh pineapple, and hot right out of the oven hand made crust. Definitely coming back!

no complaints here! we ordered da hawaiian and it was delish!! excellent crust and pizza- it was cool how they serve their hawaiian with smoked pulled pork. Drinks were tasty as well- this was our first stop and we were completely satisfied- and stuffed!!! go ahead and order the large- for only $3 more you really do get the most for your money. and who doesn't love leftover pizza?!?!

So good. Best Hawaiian pizza I've had in a while, really good crust. Perfect spot for after a day at the beach. Mai tai was best I've had. They were even open on turkey day when we went. It's a dive and small seating area but worth it if you're in Kauai north shore!

We got here ten minutes after they opened, and the waitress said, "We'll be open in five minutes." When we asked if we could wait inside (the doors were wide open), she said, "You can sit out here." We waited a few minutes, and then started to walk away toward a nearby pizza join. The waitress called after us, "Okay! We're open now!" She said, "We run on island time." Please, don't blame your business' unprofessionalism on island time. Other businesses on the island open on time without a problem. They were completely awkward about our seating. The tables are teeny tiny, and they were already pushed together, but then they asked, "Can you just use one table? We need this." Wouldn't have bothered me if they hadn't already set it up that way all around the restaurant. We got a combo pizza. It was absolutely beautiful, but I was disappointed to find out that it tasted like dining hall pizza from my college. Actually, a little worse than the dining hall pizza. The vegetables and the pepperoni were flavorless, there was almost no sauce, and the pizza was slimy after a couple of minutes. We threw out half the pizza because we couldn't eat it. Shame, because the thing cost $30. While the waitresses were drinking behind the bar, we took our own bill up to the counter. We always tip 20 percent, even if service is mediocre, and we never make the mistake of blaming our servers for food quality. However, they were plain rude, so we didn't tip them. Save your money!

Good food, happy people, but slowest service ever. We were not given menus when we walked in. Had to chase down one of the two staff members every time we wanted something. Pizza was pretty good, but not worth the 2 hours. Great place if you have patience, not sure if it's really worth it if you don't.

Amazing pizza!!! Based on the yelp reviews we were skeptical but we thought we'd give it a try anyways and it was delicious. We will maybe come back again while we're staying here otherwise we'll definitely be back the next time we come out to Kauai.

Amazing local spot. We had the spicy Hawaiian and it was by far the best pizza I ever ate.

If you are a vegetarian, do NOT order cheese pizza by the slice. They only make one pizza to sell by the slice (half pepperoni, half cheese) - and I got plenty of pepperoni with my slice. Yuck! My husband ate a slice of the pepperoni. It was really greasy, the crust was thin, but dense. He is not picky and loves just about any pizza, but liked nothing about this one.

The Tiki Man Pizza located inside the Tahiti Nui restaurant and from what I can tell they don't have a phone number. The pizza tastes very basic with a thin non-memorable crust. Lots of creative topping offerings. Pretty quick from order to ready.

The pizza here is really over priced. Even more, the drinks are bad. The service was mediocre, and really didn't help their situation. Spare yourself the time and money and check out some of the island's other pizzerias.

A very classic pizza joint. Basic cheese/pepperoni pizza by the slice or customize your own full pie, also regular menu options, too. Live music, lots of other guests, some of the longer tables may be share by multiple parties. Overall, a good pizza and a good time.
