Best of the best!! The freshest ingredients, beautiful presentation and delicious food. Jason and his staff are a delight to work with. I am so glad I chose to book MEC for my wedding, they are the best caterers in Maui, hands down. I also hired them for the our Luau/Pool Party the next day and the food was insane. They are the absolute best!

We hired Maui Executive Catering for our wedding last month. The food was sensational! We enjoyed every bite from the tasting to the reception dinner. The team at Maui Executive Catering is skilled at creating memorable food. The only reason I cannot give them five stars is because our memory of their service will always be kind of sad. No one on their team checked with the bride or the groom before throwing our beautiful custom wedding cake in the garbage. Clearly they were more concerned with packing up and getting out of there than they were with whether their clients had actually enjoyed a slice of their own wedding cake. I did receive an apology but as a former server --I'm still shocked that they didn't care enough to ask us before throwing it away.

This review is for Chef's Table. Food and service was impeccable. What a unique experience to share a table with total strangers and see the food prepared right in front of you! Food was absolutely delicious, I'm still thinking about the lobster agnolotti. I have to say the food was even better than Manresa, a 2 star Michelin restaurant.

TOP NOTCH!!! Jason and the team at Maui executive catering went above and beyond our expectations. Our wedding food was fantastic! Both my husband and I are foodies...as are our friends who attended our wedding. The food provided by MEC was absolutely spectacular! People rarely talk and talk about wedding food...our guests have done nothing but. We are still getting raves weeks later...it is the first thing our friends mention when talking about our special day. Our wedding day was the most EPIC day of our lives...MEC helped make it so spectacular...We are so lucky to have nabbed this talented team...the food and service was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We experienced a night at Chef's Table - and it was pretty fantastic. We get to do these types of things in San Francisco pretty often and it was just as fun to do in Maui. The staff was great, the food was excellent and we made some great friends. I would recommend if you're looking for a more intimate meal to watch the chef's prepare your food right in front of you....and Jeff's pretty easy on the eyes :) Hoping to go back once they open their new location!

Chef Jeff Scheer is truly a food visionary! I was blessed to be able to attend one of his Chef's Table events in Maui, and my mouth still waters thinking about the wondrous experience! The Chef puts together a small team of culinary wizards and creates a totally unique menu just for that one evening's Chef's Table! It was OMG Food! The company was unruly in a good way because the Chef and his team made us all feel like we were a part of the taste-team and each course was a delight. This is one of those special experiences that few know about and once you've experienced it, you know it's a world-class remarkable moment to remember...

The summary: None better on the island of Maui. Top notch food and professional service. I recommend MEC without hesitation. The story: I spent time in the kitchen with Jeff and Jason, and these guys really know how to make local ingredients into something special. Fresh bread, local produce delivered from a farm just up the road, and hand-cut local meats...all sourced on-island. The week I was there, they catered a birthday party for a visiting family, as well as a 200 plate, 5-Star wedding. It was impressive to see the range of options they were able to provide to their customers.

The word "caterer" does not even come close to doing these guys justice...Maui Executive Catering is THE ONLY one to use on Maui!!!!! I, along with many of my guests are chefs and/or in the food industry so expectations were very high for our wedding. Jeff and Jason and their crew went above and beyond any expectations I could have ever dreamt up. You'll see a new meaning to "farm fresh". I saw it with my own eyes, from harvesting the produce to acquiring the fish off the boat and a whole pig of the farm...this food is as fresh as it comes!!! Planning was fun and a breeze. They will work with you to put together a personalized menu and are more than willing to try new things. They are passionate about what they do and it shows! They're worth every penny...don't tell them but I would have paid more! Best part is, we now call them friends...

The Chef's Table is amazing! By far the best dining experience on the island of Maui. The crew at Maui Executive Catering are lovely people and each dish had a surprise element that made you so excited for each bit. What an amazing and talented company! We work with them as often as we can for our weddings BUT to be at a "Chef's Tasting" is by far a superior experience! To see the Chef's in action with descriptions and you get to watch the whole cooking process is by far a highlight! When you have a passion for what you do - it shows! What a great experience!!!! My first bite was heavenly. My second bite was amazing. My third bite melt my back bone... Eating could be this good. As an avid cook in my own kitchen to my two beautiful daughters, It made me think so many times how can I make my children feel like I felt with eating their food. They are not only great chefs. They have a mind set to create better environment. Their approach to cook with only Maui Local ingredients is phenomenal. I know they are here to change the food industry standards. We are blessed to have them on the island of Maui.

If you are looking for a wedding caterer - or any event catering for that matter - I absolutely recommend Maui Executive Catering. They were utterly fantastic throughout the whole planning stages with menu suggestions, greta little additions to give local flavor and totally understood what I was trying to achieve. The quality of food was outstanding. They catered our teppenyaki welcome dinner which was great fun and super casual and then catered the whole grand affair for the wedding the next day. I got compliments from every single guest on the quality of the food. Jeff and team are outstanding and the food was 5 star plus. I'd use them again in a heart beat.

Traveled to Kapalua in Maui for vacation with friends and family. Rented a large home and asked my friend, who is a local restaurant owner/chef, for a referral for a private chef. Jason and his team were fantastic. It started with great communication prior to our arrival, help with putting together just the right menu for our group (which included a vegan, a vegetarian and someone with food allergies). They couldn't have been more patient and accomodating. It continued with the nicest, friendliest people and the most excellent food! This vacation is something we do every year with 18 or so people in different locations and we always hire a private chef for one night. This was the best, by far, we had ever had. Fresh, local food made with such care and flavor. I would highly recommend them! Thanks Jason! Hope to be back in Maui soon for more!

Maui executive catered my wedding and the food exceeded my expectations. I had narrowed it down to two companies so I asked my wedding planner. He told me I had picked the two best on the island however Maui executive was simply the best. All food cooked on site, nothing frozen. My brother in law is a chef in San Francisco and he knows his business. He was so impressed he exchanged email addresses with Jeff. Everyone raved about the food. Jeff sheer planned the menu and upon arrival in Maui telephoned me to ask if there was anything I needed. You won't be disappointed is you hire Jeff and his crew. Thank you for making my wedding so special.
